appreciate the lord that we're together again tonight thank god that we're here in the second session of the new york youth convention ever since this morning we've been certainly blessed all the songs that we have sung all the ministers who have spoken they were truly blessing us this year i'm grateful to brother hogarth for the theme that he's chosen for this meeting santiago you know that the steam is something that the young people need greatly and perhaps this meeting is not even enough to say all that we would need to say to them we're trusting the lord that there'll be enough that is said so that the youth can have something to help them moving forward because the body will not be able to stand if we're not standing on a foundation we can build any other foundation that one that has been that's why we're going to pray tonight so that the lord can help the generation coming up to remain on the solid foundation without that we'll not be able to make it jesus had a principle that he gave in luke 16 verse 12. know that he was speaking about something else but that principle is still valid today says if you have not been faithful in that which is another's man's who shall give you that which is your own. if i was not faithful to the revelation that god gave to the elders can god give me a revelation if i don't honor what god gave to the elders and i'm not honoring he who gave it to them and if i don't honor him who gave it to them he will not honor me with new things that's why god gave to the elders in the measure that was available to them that was sufficient to bring the body to the point and now for the body to make its next step is going to require a generation to remain intact with what was given before no back up cannot burn the bridge to the past and expect to do the same work no backup coupe as the body of christ is not a title it's a living organism it's a spirit that builds the body and so we ought to honor what god gave the elders so that the lord can honor us to move forward the body of christ the lord has a way that he functions in it foreign oftentimes the young people complain that the body is very conservative it's not progressive because they would like for everyone to come together make decisions and produce change but change in the body is not produced i'm a member in the body you're a member in the body if i'm changing my life then the body will change because if all the members in the body are growing then the whole body will grow up if all the members in the body were to progress spiritually then the body will progress spiritually if we remain on our knees and trust in god the lord will move forward just as he did with the elders vision so today we would like a generation that holds up high the vision that they receive to hold on to the revelation that was given to them that's what will allow the body to remain in the body and we know that there is a place that we are but there's still yet another place to go but let's be watched for what method we use to get to where god wants us to go on and so let's honor what god gave to the body so that god can move on with us elsewhere there's a prayer that i used to always make to the lord in my youth i'll make it for the young people tonight when 30 verse 11 says that there is a generation that cursed their father and they they they're not blessed by their mother don't want to be a part of a generation that's cursing what the elders put in our lives i want to be a part of a generation that's honoring what our fathers put in our lives and further says there's another generation [Music] there's another generation that have lofty eyes and their eyelids are lifted up oftentimes natural knowledge can produce these things there's a prayer i make to the lord i ask them to preserve me not to preach philosophy in the body because these things do not build the body of christ is their bodies built on the foundation that the apostles and the prophets jesus jesus christ himself as the chief cornerstone affair with but we want to be careful for too much greek and hebrew not to become 11 in our teachings because greek and hebrew cannot restore the truth of the body you can understand the language but not understand the language the speech the speech jesus told the pharisees that you don't understand my language is that's why the fourth generation back in proud chapter 30 says that their mouth their teeth are as knives devouring the oppressed. that's when you don't preach the truth of the body the things that you're preaching are destroying the lives of the people of god the teaching in your mouth turn into nahs that are killing the people of god they may seem as things that are pleasing men because they exalt the spirit of man but they don't give life to the soul says the ravens of the valley shall pick it out [Music] and when we remain too connected with them there's a place that they'll destroy the vision of god in our lives if you have a vision if you have an eye that's causing you to despise what the others gave then finally the system will pluck out your eyes [Music] and that's what happened to samson when he didn't honor his mother and father he went to the philistines they plucked out his eyes that's why taking things from the internet and putting the teachings of the body is not new revelation and to take things that you see online and put in the teachings of the body is not a new revelation to eat their food [Music] i know we're not yet where we ought to be but if we remain connected to the source the lord will go up with us and what's perfect will come into our lives and what is partial in the body will disappear this is that same source that gave a little in the past is what will give us great things in the present if we remain in the same line in the same source when that which is perfect will come will be blessed in the name of jesus let's honor what god gave to the elders and he'll give us ours suffered let's hold on to the vision that our mothers and fathers gave to us so that god can give us a perfect vision when we remain this way we'll see what god will do with this generation let me tell you that i know that every generation is called to surpass the previous generations for you to surpass someone you have to be able to do what they did and then to do more than what they did can we pray like the elders you said can we fast like how the elders so that god can move on with us in the midst of a perverse and corrupt generation when we get in front of that jordan river will find a pure and holy generation who will not put their feet in the jordan for the jordan not to split their feet in half [Music] at that time there will be a holy nation standing in the midst of the jordan okay the early church crossed that jordan river and they went with 12 stones to the other side [Music] [Music] that altar represented the life of righteousness that they lived in the middle of a corrupt and perverse generation we'll have to cross the jordan river in the name but that calls for a group of young people that are praying and fasting and seeking the lord daily god is going to move on with the body but we have to remain on our knees as soon as we're ready jesus will return young people i tell you that as soon as we're ready god will come and do what he wants let us pray and let us fast and let's depend on god let's not trust on our own knowledge let's pray for the remainder of this meeting ready for the church in east 98 and the great work that pastor hogart lord hallelujah good evening thank you for inviting me to speak here to this group i appreciate being part of this meeting and i appreciate everything that was said in this morning's session i especially appreciated brother hogarth encouraging us to still be chivalrous today [Music] and i appreciate brother peach encouraging us to keep clearing off the foundations i say amen to everything that was said today and especially the answers to the questions at the end of the morning [Music] we in this body have some territory that was built on a right foundation i can't hear the interpretation but i'm going to pause for every little bit to allow an interpretation to proceed but there's a scripture that some people have already put in the chat proverbs 22 and verse 28 says to remove not the ancient landmark which your father said landmarks identify the ground that you possess [Music] we have some ground some territory that this body possesses it is our ground it doesn't belong to the baptist church or the assemblies of god or the church of god in christ baptist legalize the church it's our ground and we must possess it and we cannot remove the ancient landmark that our fathers have set in place it takes several landmarks to identify a plot of ground plug and we have landmarks including our vision of the body of christ cleveland our understanding of babylon is a landmark comprehension [Music] so are the wonderful truths the lord has given this body deliverance but i want to focus on another landmark and that's holiness memphis fashion lord born sanctuary from our very earliest days this body has been a people of holiness entity this was both internal holiness of our heart and spirit and eternal holiness and the outward appearance appreciate the sanctity he preached holiness and said we're to be separated from the world was brother william salter wrong [Music] holiness is one of the landmarks of this body that our fathers gave us we're not supposed to remove those landmarks no bandwagon now some people confuse holiness and righteousness and godliness confusion and godliness is how we relate to the lord and if you're in this body then you're to go on to holiness righteousness and godliness is i've been in this body for over 55 years we're not co-op we had a second center brother billy brown warned us one time about creeping worldliness but i'm afraid it's starting to gallop men went perfectly paparazzi i see women in this body wearing men's pants i see saints piercing their ears well i see young people getting caught up in sports and entertainment and that troubles me a solid problem god's people are supposed to be separated from the world but one joseph was a separate demon in the old testament they were sanctified set apart for a sacred purpose differently with the idolatry huh they dress differently you could tell instantly that that was a hebrew image they had a ribbon of blue around the hem of their garment they're gonna search blue no no nope you that was to protect those people from the corrupting influences of the world and friends and holiness is required in the new testament too hebrews 12 and verse 14 says follow peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see the lord sanctification and then the apostle paul said in uh i believe it's second corinthians in chapter seven he said having these promises dearly beloved let's cleanse ourself from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit of perfecting holiness in the fear of god there's also an external holiness that the bible requires romans 12 1 says to present your body as a living sacrifice holy and acceptable to god it's overcoming sin and we're to be holy and without blame before the lord mudwest saying his son will push the vote i think paul said in first corinthians 3 verse 17 that the temple of god is holy which temple we are bueno but it's hard to be holy in an unholy world it's hard to be righteous in the midst of unrighteousness there's a lot of pressure on young people to conform to the ideas of the world you know people place your solution you're a fast ideology monster but those ideas are wrong and the world doesn't know that they're wrong they think their attitudes and their actions are right and they think that when you don't act like them or think like them that you're weird you know there was a gallup poll taken of over 15 000 young people between the ages of 18 and 23. yes this was published just last year and nearly one out of every six young people said they were either queer or transgender 16 of these american young people said they were transgender and 48 of young people said gay and lesbian couples marrying is a good thing for our society one third of all young people in america think that we should use gender-neutral pronouns instead of he and xi masculinity young people in the world are wrong we cannot embrace the gay and transgender movement [Music] the bible says there's to be a difference in hairlines reveal and a difference in their clothing as you feel us not more that'd be more and a difference in how they act [Music] and women shouldn't wear makeup like jezebel and i don't believe men or women should decorate and desecrate their bodies with tattoos and piercings god's holy bible restricts certain things to the union of a man and a woman in marriage but our society has accepted the ungodly concept of sex outside of marriage but we don't embrace that in this body why does god want us to be holy he demands holiness so that he can associate with us the exegesis he is a holy god and he saw a joke he said but a holy god cannot associate with anything that's unholy me he wants to meet with his people but those people must be clean i don't have time to read you the verses that i want to but maybe you can write them down and we'll look at them some other time but the 59th chapter of isaiah tells us what causes god to turn away from his people is verse 2 says sins and iniquities cause god to hide his face from us it was important it says we cannot just do our own ways and find our own pleasure and speak our own words the word emmanuel means god with us and we need god with us but god will not dwell with an unholy people i won't quote it because i don't have time but god said that in psalms five and verse four and if you want god to dwell with you then you have to be separated from the wickedness of this world i won't quote it either but that's second corinthians 6 verses 14 through 18. in god's eyes it's wrong for us to get too close to the world there's an influence out there that will defile you i said get experience with you i absolutely i've been in this body for 55 years second second when i was young there were older generations that remembered brother william sauders and they wondered what would happen to the body when the baton was passed on to my young generation but we didn't lose our vision now i'm the generation that knew brother nick gruick and brother clyde patton and brother cornelius meers and now i get to wonder what's going to happen when we pass the baton to you in a relay race the first runner passes the baton to the second one [Music] if either runner drops the baton they'll lose the race and the runner doesn't run up to the second runner and stop and say hey how you doing and the second runner is already running when the first runner gets to the exchange zone [Music] again now the baton is going to be passed on to you young people in this body please don't drop the baton and go ahead and start running now even before i see that my time is up i just want to give you two more verses out of judges the second chapter judges 2 and verse 7 says and then verse 10 joshua 2 10 says when that generation died there was another generation that knew not the lord nor yet his works that he had done for israel don't move the ancient landmarks yeah let's go on and finish the work that god has called this body to do annually by co-apple when i'm dead and gone i hope there's generations that are carrying on this great work so thank you for listening to me tonight and may god foundation i believe the latter rain church no longer has a foundation to delay the early church had already laid the foundation corinthians chapter 3 verse 10 paul says by the grace of god given to me jesus i've laid down the foundation as a wise master builder you mute hello yeah dandy hello it's hello yes met my name hello you know johnny we can hear you go ahead all right i'm sorry so but that is a [Music] i appreciate the lord that he could give me the opportunity virtually speaking to see some of you uh i think the lord follows his benefits toward me and for what he's doing in my life i want to thank the lord infinitely for his greatness i know i don't have too much time but before i say what i say i greet all the ministers of god and all those who are on the panel especially i appreciate the lord what he's doing in the lives of his people um i'm truly blessed for all that i've heard in the meeting from this morning until [Music] it's true in this pandemic season we can't gather as we're supposed to gather but i still believe according to what the ministry has told us it's not yet time for god's people to gather together i believe that this pandemic will change into an endemic further down and god will give his people another opportunity to gather once again and as a great assembly um [Music] i appreciate the lord for the subject that's been put together for the youth meetings [Music] and they've mentioned the term original concerning how to stay on the original foundation of the body i can understand why they put emphasis on the word original [Music] pastor goodwin spoke concerning not moving the landmarks of the elders i believe it's in that context that the word original is in the meeting [Music] in place they didn't set them in place of their own will but according to the will of god the father [Music] um we know this uh verses from proverbs 22 verse 28. [Music] where it says to not move the ancient landmarks that which your fathers have said again i'm not going in here i'm not going into the history behind it though it was something natural that was given to the people of god but i'd like to say a few words on its application concerning us these landmarks uh don't refer to types and shadows the way i see it yes they refer to the principles that are being taught in the body through the ministry of god uh uh this morning brother leo brown referred to the foundation as the teachings of jesus uh he says which is a holy doctrine sound doctrine sorry yes so long as we're implanted in the teachings of the ministry we'll stay in the solid foundation on sound doctrine they come up with i could feel the heart of brother and jesus as he was making supplication and praying that the youth would stay in the teachings of the elders what a good one as well as brother goodwin who made the same supplication this knowing of god is not just in a simple conversion the ministers made mention of the verses in isaiah 28 concerning jesus being the tried stone dog no no no uh if we strive to resemble jesus we'll always be able to stay in the foundation [Music] uh we know this verse it's in john chapter 10. there are two main verses i'd like to read from it first is from verse 14. [Music] jesus says i know my sheep and my sheep are they know me and i am known of them uh yes this knowing is not knowing jesus in a casual way but it's developing an intimate relationship when we're striving to have the same sentiments that jesus had the same mind that's how we'll know jesus [Music] let's ask the lord for strength to apply the word of god that's taught to us by the ministers of god when we pray to the lord to have an intimate relationship with us the lord will know us as well and when we pray he'll hear us and our eyes will be on jesus christ we'll wait for the word of god being taught to us by the ministry universe seven settlers will be a third and in verse 27 it says my sheep hear my voice and jesus says and i know them and they follow me uh [Music] and the way that jesus speaks there he's speaking concerning someone who wants to stay in jesus footsteps assembly because being in jesus likeness is uh the desire of our hearts when we strive to have a relationship with jesus that's what will keep us on the foundation of the body of proverbs 22 where it says not to move the elders landmarks dog [Music] it's so easy as a young minister to develop a spirit to want to move the elders landmarks on [Music] and i speak for myself not for others i thought that knowing types and shadows is what will keep you in the foundation of the body of christ [Music] until the lord made me to know that it's not the types and shadows that will make you have eternal life [Music] made mention of jesus's teachings and his foundation in matthew 5 matthew 6 and matthew 7. um i don't believe uh not knowing what the seven trusses of samson's here represent will keep me from having eternal life if i put the word of god into practice in my life apology so long as i remain uh submissive in a local assembly to hear and to obey what's being taught in my local assembly i believe god will [Music] [Music] i thought if i would go to a regional meeting i would seek out ministers and ask them what does this represent what does that represent uh sebasta ordained and who stays in the order and who's uh practicing what he teaches you uh he puts them into practice i'm glad for this song that maestro that's the true spirit we're supposed to have in order to stay in the body where we can see the needs of the assembly of god of the people of god in baghdad in john 10 27 jesus says my sheep hear my voice this hearing is not just hearing his voice and not putting them into practice i may hear but if i don't put anything in practice it proves that i really didn't hear that's what we find in revelation where it says those people who knew the lord they followed the lamb wherever he went um second timothy chapter two i'd like to read verse 19 with you before i end um allah paul was giving timothy council as the young minister welcome back yesterday and it says nevertheless the foundation of god stand is sure having the seal the lord knoweth them that are his and let everyone that name is the name of christ depart from iniquity you see the word uh no or noise is repeated again uh let's when the lord knows those people it's the people who uh develop an intimate relationship with the lord i took it because the lord had redeemed us with his holy blood his precious blood so that we could belong to him so long as we're living for the lord we stand on the solid foundation so my goal my prayers for the youth uh and i'm also a youth uh is for us to remain obedient to the elders uh to listen to them if they were to give us some wrong console let the lord take care of that okay it's when you remain submissive that god will raise you up when the lord gives us the chance to get together let's not stay in the vain ways that we had we've been staying in before no connect with us we know how it is so let's ask the lord for strength to remain small in our eyes i'm glad the lord gave me the this opportunity to be part of this meeting with you may the lord [Applause] [Applause] this for yourself that you weren't what god wants you to be doing then you repent you turn away from your wicked ways [Applause] to understand as well you realize jesus said this if any man wants to follow me he must deny himself you gotta deny yourself to follow me [Applause] if we can just quickly look at it says praise god matthew chapter 16 verse 13. when jesus came into the coast of caesarea philippi [Applause] he asked his disciples saying that [Music] amen in verse 17. that's what he said and jesus answered and said unto him yes you are he says no man can come unto me the person is in church today they won't stay yes i swear they won't stay in this gospel because god has yet to touch their eyes amen but i thank god that he revealed himself to a group of people akupido's daughters from the batangas assembly i thank the lord for uh brother lewis and the opportunity and the invitation to be on this youth meeting my message thankful that uh brother peach uh was coordinating with brother lewis and passed the invitation to us to be here and we thank the lord for all of our youth who are able to be on here through this medium of zoom um if the lord would permit more time today uh there are others who would like to testify again but i just wanted to say before i get out of the way it is a wonderful privilege to be in the body of jesus christ i have listened some this morning to the speakers talking about the foundation that was laid before us we here in the philippines are in the body of christ because of the foundation that was laid before our day because of faithful men who labored to build on the foundation of god our apostle brother martin baxter martin baxter was brought this way or led this way through brother nick gruick and so we have a shared history with many of you our brothers and sisters we thank the lord for those faithful men who labored before us out they continued to build on the sure foundation we thank the lord for brother john peach who continues to build on that sure foundation it is only upon building on the sure foundation that the church will be restored say selma continues we exhort teach and encourage the next generation to keep building on that same sure foundation we will continue solitary not change it keep building on what christ has laid because christ is that foundation continued if we do this the church of jesus christ will be restored and these young people will be established in the body of jesus christ say no faith sally this is jesus so we praise the lord that we are on that same foundation for i encourage each one do not change or try to change the foundation for that but build on the solid rock and that's easily actually i'd like to give now time if there is to the other cenias stanford connecticut on the amba minister baster leopold yes uh it's a great honor and privilege to speak today uh in this beautiful meeting and today i want to i want my words to be an encouragement to all the youth that are listening to me i think god is not easy julia i'm one of the youth that uh can that can basically tell you that um uh it's it's really hard to serve guy when you're young but it's not impossible it's not impossible um i want to start off by saying that you know sometimes we get into a place with the lord that we we go to church uh you could be talking about the foundations of god like we're talking right now but your heart is not in what's going on may cause a fiddler and i became one of those youths and i want to talk to all the youth that are that's experiencing what i experienced before this is where we see the first miracle that jesus performed they like you know we're putting me back in fair uh our first miracle is nothing you know we don't really think of it as something too big you just turn water into wine [Music] but you know god when he does things he does it to show something a bigger picture we'll start in verse 3 [Music] where it says and when they wanted wine the mother of jesus saith unto him they have no wine verse 4 jesus saith unto her woman what have i to do with thee my how has not yet come in a person yeah the time for me to um to start my ministry um and and die for this world did not come yet i'm here but i you know i'm here i'll do this this this miracle but you know the time has not started yet and then verse skip to verse six it says and there were sit there six water pots the pier after the manner of the purifying of the jews destiny or purification in two usually after hebrews greek or roman usage uh and it says that there were uh about two or three ferkins in place but we know in all those parts that there was definitely two ferkins there so you multiply ten by two that gives you twenty zero multiplied this for good evening on the day of pentecost when the church was inaugurated let me let me just step back by saying there's some places in the bible where you see of vessels that they we're building ourselves on the true foundation the foundation that was already uh late for us and we're not going to change anything we have to be true servants and in acts chapter one and two we see that if they did not go to jerusalem they would not have received the whole bathroom of the holy ghost in nowhere can i actually [Music] part of being a true servant is separating yourselves from from the world from separating you just putting yourself apart yes they had to they're already in jerusalem for 40 days jesus said you need to stay there there's no leaving there's no going back home where you came from wanna read two timothy chapter two sinawali no dirty what is up now first uh we can start at verse 19. where it says nevertheless the foundation of god stands to shore the name having this sealed the lord knoweth them that are his alexa reserve the soul god knows who is for him but take this time to see if you are in him ponti temple where esco unalie and let everyone that name of the name of christ depart from iniquity he components but in the great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver the vessel doesn't grant maison but also of wood of earth and of some so honor and some to this honor now this is how you become an honorable vessel he shall be a vessel to honor a substantial ill-shield advanced donor sanctified and meet for the master's use sanctifia to use us another part of being a true servant is being humble lord characteristics uh juan peter says to humble yourselves under the mighty hand of god so that will appear he will exalt you in due show you even jesus let me let me show you in philippines chapter 2. philippians uh where it says but made himself of no reputation a philippine philippines chapter 2 verse 7 verse and took upon what form of a servant appointed informed the servitor and was made of in the likeness of men under no symbol zomb for jesus it basically says he just took up in the form of a servant confirmed your savior humbled himself himself he came on earth and let them spit in his face when to pierce his side your piercing courtly for all his blood to come out of his body whose son sutna called another part of being a true servant in the lord on lord characteristics every third always say uh remembering that you belong to him remember i read into timothy that you're a vessel for the master i know my time is coming uh so close i'm just gonna quickly uh give uh this couple of scriptures um i believe they already read one corinthians 3 verse 16. as it says i want to put emphasis on that once you receive the baptism of the holy ghost that's an engagement that you have with the lord that god puts his spirit in you monger limitedly it says that uh take up the i'm sorry you broke up uh songs of psalms 2 verse 15 it says take take us the foxes these are the little things that are coming to distract you in the lord is so let's just make an eye on to that um i know my time has ended here may god bless in a church uh we feel the same spirit that god is pouring us in and that is one of uh the greatest blessings that we can thank god for i said and uh just like the song that we sang a while ago that all the honor the glory the praises the worship belongs to him whatever we feel whatever we experience we have to praise the lord enemies and i'm just so happy that i am taking this uh service or meeting as a reminder for us just like the message about the foundation that we have to remind ourselves to where we should put our paint on and our foundation and i know that we are all reminded that we should put it in our god um because uh that is uh it's our rock ask uh that is the builder the keeper and the maker knowing that god is the keeper the builder and the maker we should not be afraid
