2021 Geo Pro 20FBS NEW FLOORPLAN!

dave here at russo's rv center in lakeville massachusetts today we are looking at a new geopro floor plan this is the 20 fbs this is a really i think if it is an update on the 19 fbs the beds going north to south bathroom uh goes across the whole rear of the camper so it's a larger bathroom pretty awesome floor plan my friend derek here thinks so as well and we're going to be checking out this 20 fps so right in the front we see the bicycle carrier this is a carrier that um can hold two bikes you have the docking lights which during the day doesn't look like too much but at night they're very bright on the geos the front jack power jack is standard as are the two 20-pound bottles and the battery box that can fit two batteries there's also a disconnect switch under there this particular geo came in at 34 77 that is the dry weight and the gross weights on this model 4310 that's with max cargo full tanks so this geo pro does have a passenger storage so it has this is actually the smaller of the two sides so let's check out the other side just so you can see thanks derek yeah i see much larger over here much wider that's the griddle in the box as well as the table that mounts next to it so really good pass-through storage on this geo you'll see the solar on the side so even though all geos come with 190 watt roof mount solar panel you also have the option for solar on the side this is the gas electric water heater much to see there but you can open it and you can see there is a little switch for the electric always make sure if you're going to run it on electric turn that switch on and then turn the switch inside on so you have to actually turn both on that's the fresh water drain very easy access to drain that fresh water just pull the valve and then on all geo pros you have the sewer um holder what do you call it a tube sewer sewer tube uh for your uh holding for your for your sewer hose because you don't have the bumper on the geo so that's where you're gonna put the the hose easy access for the black and gray tanks on there your 30 amp cord plugs in there standard on the geo is the rear ladder easy to climb up derek do you want to uh just climb up the ladder real quick very easy very easy solid roof walking that roof do you want me to walk on the roof ken if you want sure all right thank you yeah so solid yep so you get up there to clean it check the seals all that important stuff so next to the ladder we have black tank flush city water and the antifreeze inlet as well as the outside shower another storage compartment it's not a big one but we'll take what we can get for storage the awning has a led light you're gonna see that on all the geos with the power awning outside speaker exhaust for the stove and the griddle is going to mount right there and the gas line underneath all right derek what do you say let's go inside i think that's a good idea all right so one thing you're going to notice when you're comparing this unit to the 19 fbs the 19fps the door is near the rear whereas in this unit it's actually in the the front i would say third of the unit where the the bed is so yeah check out that bed you can actually walk around the bed you have plugs on either side electrical outlets and you have charging stations on either side of the bed that bed i believe lifts up for storage you're gonna yeah so you get some additional storage under there and there's a couple drawers nice oh yeah and there saw the tire pressure monitor yep thank you and additional storage not only the the side cabinets i think that's going to be for clothes yeah you can see you can hang clothes and it's the same exact thing on the other side and you have the netting for more storage to give you as much as they can fit on both sides of the bed there are windows so this window does open up the exit window on the other side and there's colin over there uh that window does open up as well one thing that i'm seeing i think this is a newer thing with the new larger sinks and the geos they have this um grate that goes up over it so if you wanted to i don't know what do you think dry dishes yeah i think but even if whatever you're gonna do you can use this this is pretty strong you can put stuff on here use it for counter space which is great because you can use as much as you can get 12 volt tv should still have the yeah has a dvd player built in and you have the radio which is bluetooth and the y5 ranger all geos come with um solar panel on the roof they have the 190 watt panel and the thousand watt inverter and this model the inverter switch is over by the bed that really allows you to use the electrical outlets yeah and the couch so uh derek can you just drop the couch just to show what the bed looks like when it's in bed position and you can see the table behind it all right derek set up the table so you can check that out you want to sit at the couch just to show the folks kind of room yeah so definitely i think three people could sit there comfortably yeah three yeah that's right tables the tables long enough a couple cup holders too cup holder on each side very interesting couch built onto the actual yes you're right that's a good point so the slide room itself actually it actually only goes to about there it goes it doesn't go to the floor it stops before the floor so the couch is actually sitting on the slide room itself it's kind of a fun fact they're sitting right on this line yeah it's built in so that's important to know because i've had a lot of people over over the years on the 19 fbs ask about can i get a different couch and no the reason is no because the answer is no the reason being that is a very specific couch for a very specific uh situation with the slide room all right thanks derek let's check out the rest all right so um with a slide i always like to bring the slide room in just to see how much space we have so derek's going to bring that slide in [Music] you can also see how fast they move how long it takes and it just works off of 12 volts works off the battery power all right so that's fully in oh you still have plenty of room you got room to get into the bathroom though oh oh wait a minute derek so it's actually kind of important can you get in there just show the folks what what's going on ah it is okay so with the slide room in all the way you cannot access that bathroom because it does hit that corner of the of the sofa that's actually and that wouldn't be obvious from the floor plan either so wow well a surprise so yeah you can't access the bathroom you can get everywhere else of course but you can't so to get into that bathroom you'd have to put the slide room out yeah probably six inches or so all right i'm gonna try it now so you don't have to put the slide room out all the way like if you had to stop yeah see now you can get it easy so you just put the slide remote just a little bit and you're done you just bring it in nope yeah you just bring it in and [Music] you're back that's where you were all right so now we got a shot of the kitchen area we talked about the sink already next to the sink we have all the controls for the lights the awning lights the awning itself slide out gas electric water heater and the water pump and you have the instructions for getting the wii rv app big fan of the wii rv app not only does it let you control the lights and the awning in this unit but you also get a lot of manuals and how-to videos frequently asked questions really great stuff so we have three burner cooktop propane the oven i think there's lights if you turn the switch on derrick um for the top for those and for the oven you actually have an oven light too nice and you don't have to crawl down there to light it anymore you can actually light it from the handle so geopro's standard 12-volt refrigerator i've had some people ask if they do gas electric as well and the geo no that's just the 12 volt refrigerator you got that solar we recommend you got the space for two batteries you're probably going to want the two batteries especially if you're boondocking gonna be off the grid microwave up top if you wanted the option um you can get a convection microwave instead of the regular microwave so you could actually get convection and a gas oven those are two options and of course the bottle opener derek is now uh how old are you derek oh yeah so they're excited about the bottle opener okay another outlet near the sofa which makes sense and derek can you just um pull the blinds down i just want to show what they look like now yeah so just pull them down solid it's gonna it's already tinted so it's hard for people to see in but get a little bit of extra privacy those blinds thermostat on the wall that's for your heat ac controls are actually right at the ac itself thank you oh you know check out the fridge so it's a 4.5 cubic foot you see the light it's actually on right now because we're hooked up we have battery power right now so it's fridge is running it's gonna get cold pretty quick it's actually about an hour to two hours the fridge gets cold now derek i got something to ask you yes we didn't talk about this before but you wanna sit on that toilet i just wanna i just wanna i just want people to see how much space there is yeah that's good so no you're not going to break the look so so yeah you got plenty of room plenty of room um if you wash your hands yeah thank you i appreciate it and then the shower it's actually see if there's a good shot we can get in here yeah you can see there's a big there's a big shower plenty of room and for the tall folks you got the you get the skylight additional storage cabinet in the bathroom wherever you can get it right good yeah pretty good size surprised by that storage derek yeah actually look at the light on in here so not you know it's a bathroom and an rv so you tend to not have a ton of counter space but to be honest with you that's more than i have in my apartment that's pretty good you actually have some decent counter space and the outlet i'm also noticing that heat is ducted in here it's important to know ducted right into the bathroom and there's a really you know not much but it's something so you have a little extra storage there as well yeah and you have a medicine cabinet storage in the mirror special shower door there correct a special well special yeah i mean it's different it's got the magnet that holds it let's see yeah yeah but it's going to keep the water moving out pretty nice save some space let me get a decent shot of the whole trailer from in here yeah so this is a sweet sweet floor plan i am excited about this one i would guess that within the next year i'm thinking this probably will end up being if not the most popular geo it's going to be probably the top two just because walk around bed now it's actually important to mention so i compared this to the 19fps a couple times already so the 19fps yes it has the it has the east-west bed but that's actually a full queen bed in the 19 fps it's a 60 by 80. this is a little bit smaller um i don't know the book with me right now but i believe um this is a 74 by 54 bed so it's actually similar i think it's the same size as like a murphy bed and say the 19 fd i'll uh throw it on the screen if that's wrong but i think that's i think that's right so the colors you see these are standard geopro they don't um let you change interior colors of cabinetry or um furniture so this is what you're gonna get nice light colors still see that arch in the roof and derek can you turn off one of those lights yes i'd like to point that out that yeah you have the you have the switch near the door where you can turn the lights on and off but you can also individually turn them on and off so if you want to reduce how much light you have in here it's pretty bright pretty bright right now so yeah so very exciting i love this floor plan derek's a fan of this floor plan um this is a sold unit like pretty much everything else we're getting right now but we also have uh more stock on order so yeah this is the 20 fps geopro this is going to be a big hit check it out russo's rv lakeville mass
