COOLEST RV EVER? 2022 FOREST RIVER ROCKWOOD MINI LITE 2109S

let's open up and tour the all-new 2022  forest river rockwood mini light 2109   s good afternoon everybody this is  chris with great escapes rv super center   and today we're going to be checking  out this really awesome travel trailer   it's currently closed up we're going to go around  show off the cool features on it get on the roof   and then we'll go inside show you it all closed up  how practical would it be if you had to be pulled   onto the side of the road to maybe catch some  z's cook a meal or if you had to use the restroom   how easy and convenient is it to open up my  voice is a little off today but not to worry   i'm not sick i actually burned my esophagus over  the fourth of july weekend but i am recovering   and everything is all good let's go ahead and  jump into this so starting out here with the   front you've got a fully molded fiberglass  front cap on here i love the white two-tone   exterior on this you could definitely tell in the  summertime it doesn't attract that much as far   as the sun's uv rays definitely deflects them you  have an automotive grade front windshield on here   with the led running lights they give you a nice  setup right here with the powered tongue jack   and the convenience light you can imagine  this is much easier to dock up to at night   nice setup on the upgraded 30 pound propane tanks  compared to the standard 20s that's really cool   which we fill up on your purchase as well as  provide you with a battery and there's a slot to   add an additional battery which is really awesome  they've got this nice little diamond guard rock   plate on here to help as far as rock chips goes of  course fiberglass sidewalls aluminum substructure   very nice heated and enclosed a camper you got a  nice amount of pass-through storage in here you've   got your manual overrides for your jacks and  the power tongue jack they include a nice little   tire cover on here as well as a table you do have  a pre-wire for an additional solar panel but they   do have a solar panel on the roof as well 190  watt with a 1000 watt inverter i like the little   magnetic catches on there compared to those little  plastic ones it's a nice little upgrade to have   this does have manual jacks but get yourself a  three-quarter inch socket hook that up to a drill   that will raise and lower much faster  than if you had to do that manually   beautiful full span uh 14 foot awning with  a built-in led light strip it is the solera   frame frameless glass windows exterior mounted  marine grade speakers you've got a nice tv   mount right here to be able to hook you up a tv  when you're entertaining the friends and family   you have your furnace here and then they also  include this sweet little bracket where there   is a table that's included that will latch into  this and have additional prep space out here   beautiful setup with the goodyear uh endurance  usa made tires um aluminum rims upgrade and then   of course you've got your nice setup with  the nitrogen fill with the built-in tire   pressure monitoring sensor you've got a 110 power  source out here and then you also have the furion   exterior output for cable tv very nice coming  around here a little bit further this is the 2109s   very nice i like the little uh little light there  as well you've got a tubular bumper and you can be   able to put your sewer hose in there they also  have a two inch receiver hookup as well you can   put your little luggage rack back here full size  spare tire you've got an outside shower hookup   with hot and cold settings upgraded led lights  on the top bottom and on the sides you've got a   furion pre-wire for a backup camera let's go ahead  and climb this roof i've got one hand holding the   camera the other hand right here let's see  if i don't fall here we go getting on top   so checking it out nice nice you got your  little ventilation system up in the front   190 watt solar panel an upgraded 15k coleman mock  air conditioner they give you a nice setup with   the max air vent fan with the rain cover as well  and a nice setup with the 360 siphoning vents   and then you have your antenna for finding  channels very awesome coming down here okay this is a 30 amp rv you've got your dumping  station right here for your black and your   gray tanks nice setup as your convenience center  city water connection tank flushing and then   your anti-freeze and winter winterization and  then they have cable tv and satellite inputs   this is a new addition i don't think  that the previous one actually had this   uh the 2019s but now there's an access  compartment back here behind the fold away couch   to put some additional stuff back here so that's  pretty cool on the little magnetic catches you're   gonna have a six gallon hot water heater this  is a section right here for your potable water   to be able to carry that with you if you guys are  going on those long trips in your boondock camping   and then the docking lights on and off right here  opening this hatch you're gonna see the opposite   side of your pass-through storage you've got your  power inverter right here and then an additional   compartment with all of your random stuffs this  actually has a built-in water filtration system   very cool and then of course it includes all  of your connections and attachments there's an   outside grill that's included as well and a nice  forest river spatula very cool let's go inside   see what she looks like and open it up very cool  it does have one slide let's go ahead and open   it up so of course if you're not following us  on youtube and on facebook highly recommend it   we've got a lot of new technology coming out i do  a lot of youtube videos walking through these rvs   i don't claim to know it all but i definitely want  to keep you guys informed on all the new stuff   coming out they got a nice screenshot on here with  the friction hinged doors i personally prefer the   friction hinge doors because if the wind's blowing  it's not just going to slam shut on you that   definitely gives you a little bit more time to be  able to mitigate that because actually a couple   weeks ago i had a non-friction hinge door slammed  shut on my finger that doesn't feel too well   more ride entry step upgrade i love this pull this  little pin this will come down always make sure   whenever you have this at the your campsite that  it's matched up correctly with the sill you'll   adjust your feet right back here and then that'll  make it so much easier for you one to enter and   exit but two for the ability for your door to  close and not actually hit that sill plate on   there and potentially damage it because it wasn't  adjusted correctly first look coming on inside so i have to admit it's about  90 something degrees outside   it's pretty hot but it feels excellent  in here it's got that upgraded 15k ac   you'll have plenty of ac in here to be able to  freeze yourself out and keep yourself nice and   cool in the summer times your command center right  here so everything in here shows your lighting   interior porch awning step this is all your fluid  levels as well your black gray fresh water your   battery level this is a wi-fi booster right here  this comes in really handy because you guys can   go to a campground if they offer free wi-fi this  acts as a booster but it also has lte capabilities   go to your soil service provider activate a line  you guys can make this a personal rolling hot spot   very cool water pumps if you guys are carrying  potable water with you and you need pressure   um your water heater whether it's gas or electric  and then you have built in 12 volt tank heaters   as well very nice slide in slide out and awning  retract and extend let's go ahead and open this   up so first slide out we're going to go ahead  and press this let's turn our lights on first   first hit interior there we go much beautiful  much better so we'll go ahead and go out   this is a schwinn tech slide system  once it gets to its fullest extent   you'll kind of hear a whirr or uh the  motor kind of dying down that lets you   know that it's at its fullest extent  you'll need to let off of the button there we go and then of course this gives a little  bit more room to move around but even with the   slide closed you guys can still access pretty much  everything in here so if you did need to be pulled   over on the side of the road you could be able  to use this entire rv without having to actually   open up the slide opening the slide will just  give you a couple more foot of space i like that   a lot you've got the magic chef microwave  right here be able to keep cook all your   food i like the updated interior you got  the nice faucet you got a split style sink hood keep all your bacon and stuff ventilated  out when you're cooking in the morning   you got a three burner cooktop as well with the  tempered glass insert but do note this is not   something that you cook off of definitely make  sure that this is folded up and out of the way   it adds this additional splash guard  and then after the burners are all done   make sure they cool down before taking  and putting your tempered glass on top   if you fail to do so this can and it usually  will will break solid surface countertops you've   got a nice little led back lighting on here for  convenience moving around at night with the oven   plenty of storage in here just load it out they  include all kinds of little extra knickknacks   as far as a tray organizer you've got  under here more storage tons of storage   very very awesome you've got an additional leaf  section right here for additional countertop prep   space right there there is your um your charge  center for your 190 watt solar panel and then you   also have the irv technology am fm bluetooth  cd dvd multi-zone selection on the 12 volt   furion tv this is awesome very cool i  love that and actually believe it or not   oh it is yeah furion needs to fix that definition  definition it's a typo that's so awesome   um of course looking around here a little  bit further you do have the magic shelf   uh 12-volt refrigerator as well it's a nice deep  pocket in here plenty of room lots and lots of   storage space in here it's got the turbo cooling  feature this thing's only been plugged in about 10   minutes and i feel very comfortable with putting  perishable items in there and keeping those chill   you got an additional section right here  and i personally love this as well because   forest river did not secure all of the shelves  so you guys could be able to take that and modify   it the way you wanted or take it out completely  and be able to hang clothes or jackets there too   of course you've got carbon monoxide detector  smoke detector fire extinguisher all of the   safety features emergency exits for you to be able  to be able to have those safety features for an rv   of this small a lot of times too they'll include  a plastic toilet so the fact that they give you   a dometic that's a really good upgrade to have  max air vent fans got variable speed settings   that thing will keep this rv very cool in the  cool um spring and the fall time if you're not   wanting to run your ac you can keep it properly  ventilated in here additional storage in here   this is my favorite i'm not sure why all of the  entire rv industry has switched over to this   i'm an rv here myself of course when you turn on  your hot water heater the same or turn on your   hot water even when your house you're waiting for  the water to get hot that water is going into your   gray tank it's a total waste this is a really cool  feature because one you turn on your hot water   as soon as you turn on your hot water you close  this valve and what happens is it recirculates   into the line when the water turns hot this turns  white and then you can turn this you have instant   hot water on demand and you don't have the  issue with filling up your grate tank that is   a very cool feature to have currently forest river  products some of forest river products have this   but i i personally think the entire rv industry  other than you having you know upgraded water   heaters and stuff should definitely switch over  to this this is such an awesome awesome product   and it saves you so much money or so much time  and water filling up your gray tank you've got   a little organizer right here a little skylight  nice medicine cabinet i love the 360 siphoning   it basically uses a process like the venturi  effect where there's a positive pressure on   the outside compared to a negative pressure  on the inside which creates that ventilation   so you don't have to worry about having that black  water smell it'll creep up into your rv very cool   you also become a frog owner whenever you buy an  rv it's the forest river owners group they have   all kinds of really cool events and rallies and  stuff up in indiana and you get to be able to take   advantage of all those awesome awesome products  and features you've got a couch right here   with dual cup holders take this as well be able  to take this pull on the bottom lifts up and this   folds down for additional sleeping for friends  and family i like that a lot you've got additional   overhead cabinet storage this is another trick  right here guys so you have usb charging station   right here press this once it goes blue for a  reading light press it again it'll turn off if   you hold it down it'll pop open a bright white  light and you can press and turn that off again   very cool you've got a queen-size mattress here  it's very very nice and then i absolutely love   that forest river does this reason why this is  the little usb charging station right here but   then you also have the little plug-in where  this comes in really handy you guys if you   buy that backup camera upgrade and you have that  monitor that monitor will actually plug into there   and even though it doesn't record you can have a  live video feed pointing out the back of your rv   maybe you're in an area where it's a little shady  or you've got some valuables off the back of your   rv that you want to keep an eye on you can do that  in here very awesome emergency exit you've got   pleated shades very cool you've got more overhead  storage as well you have another pleated shade to   be able to view out the front of your automotive  grade front windshield and then you have 110 power   on both sides with more than enough room to be  able to handle a cpap machine if you didn't need   to next but not least you've got a privacy curtain  to be able to completely close off this section to   have yourself a little bit of privacy and then  another thing that forest river does that just   absolutely blows my mind i love it you look up  underneath underneath a lot of these other rvs   you're going to see that all of the framing  under the beds and even the booth dinettes   are all wood the fact that forest river does all  aluminum tubular framing that is very very awesome   so that just gives you that much more  confidence and peace of mind as far as longevity   and durability especially if you got kids or maybe  you're a larger person you want that additional   confidence being able to sleep on an on a bed that  actually has a good support frame it's going to   last you not crack like wood wood um tire pressure  monitoring sensor included very awesome you've   got a little table out here this is all your  manuals and then they include a nice grill for   your outside setup even there's a little propane  connection out there you guys can be able to cook   some meals for the friends and family down here  pull this open additional storage more storage   more storage awesome last but not least let's  open up this awning and i will wrap it up i   appreciate you all's time and your patience  with my cracky voice and how bad it sounds   right now it has definitely um done a number on  me so we're going to go ahead and press extend   as you can see it's going to open now  when this gets to its furthest extension   which i'm not sure if i'm going to be able to open  it completely due to the hideout right next to me   but at its furthest extension you will see a flap  that folds down that lets you know that it's at   its fullest extent if you were to hold that it  would continue spinning and it would basically   roll up on itself you don't want to do that  because it could potentially damage the awning so   right here at its furthest extent this is a brand  new rv and so the flap is still stuck to the top   so you'll roll it back in a little bit and there  you'll see the flap come down it's at its fullest   extent and now you can entertain friends and  family but do note one of course if it's going to   storm outside if you're going to have high winds  make sure that this awning is not pulled out a lot   of times when awnings are damaged unfortunately  it's usually caused by user error and that's not   covered by warranty next but not least take this  pull it down you can pitch this awning to one side   or the other depending on how you want the rain to  roll off but never take and push up past the point   if you push up past this point it will roll up on  itself and you will damage the rv so always have   it pretty much at that angle right there just like  the same one is over there to where it properly   rolls in on itself let's give you another final  look at this beautiful rv if you guys have any   additional questions or if there's an rv on our  lot at
