2020 Bassmaster Classic at Lake Guntersville (Day 1 - TV)

[Music] welcome to gunnersville alabama this is lake guntersville the academy sports and outdoors bassmaster classic presented by hook this is the world championship of bass fishing there is no event like it in all the world of sports [Music] every year for 50 years there is one ultimate contest the single tournament that decides the world and now in 2020 a new generation wants that prize that's what we're talking about the wind that separates you from the others at the top of their game get up in here yes that's what i'm talking about the stakes are way higher gotcha the pressure can get out of control oh my gosh yes but here on legendary lake guntersville the battle begins let's get it started and at the end of it all one will stand with the trophy for winning the single most important contest in the sport the academy sports and outdoors bassmaster classic presented by hook oh we are so ready to go this is it the single most anticipated day of the year in the sport of bass fishing of tommy sanders welcome to the bassmaster studios and for the 50th time a person will have his life changed by winning the world championship it happened to my partner here davey hyde a former classic champion and it's just so exciting it's a breathtaking moment no doubt about it it is a life-changing event i can i can say that it changed my life my family's life i dreamed about being able to be on the bassmaster classic stage for most of my adult life no doubt about it and to be able to be there and then finally one day hold that trophy over your head it is a life-changing event well of course it's happening in birmingham and of course the big playing field is so anticipated as well lake gunnersville is spectacular couldn't set it up any better the 50th bassmaster classic being on lake gunnersville so much history there so many bass tournaments there the one thing you know is going to happen at gunnersville there's going to be some big stringers caught 32 pounds last time we were here with paul mueller everything's setting up perfect the full moon the warming water temperatures all those things are going to play big for this event that's what makes it fun 53 anglers have been working literally all their life to get to this point and we are ready to start the action on day number one 50th classic it's hard to believe all this heritage all these fans and sponsors and this whole organization has been around for 50 years this event has been around for 50 years look at all the people behind me people love to see big bass on the big stage and it is our job today to go out and collect five of them as you can tell we're going to be faced with some adverse conditions but who cares this is the bassmaster classic we're on lake guntersville big ones live here we got to catch five of the biggest ones and get them back to birmingham i'm just pumped up ready to go fishing i qualified through the college ranks to get here so i'm the young guy on the scene this week i'm hoping it's going to be a good one you know i've really been enjoying myself this week i'm excited to get it started this is my 12th bassmaster classic and oddly it's weird to say that this is the most out of anybody in the field i don't know i don't know what that means but all it means is that i've been to a bunch of them already it's my first classic but i'm not a rookie this is my 11th year fishing professionally and i've made some big tournaments this is definitely the biggest but uh i'm ready for it the quality was not a problem during practice quantity was kind of an issue i was only getting maybe three four bites a day it was hard to get the fifth one but even with the three or four i was getting i had good weight i just need to get five well as you can tell from those comments lots of classic experience in the field a lot of classic newcomers as well and among them are bassmaster angler of the year champion for 2019 scott canterbury he's with robbie floyd well there's one man that gets to lead the field out in this first day of the 50th bassmaster class against scott getterberry you said you can get emotional and with all these fans here to see you and knowing what you've done winning angler of the year how special is this day man this is a super special day you know just being a competitor in the classic is unbelievable something that we dream about growing up it's the super bowl of bass fishing it's here i don't get to lead them out after winning another year that's unbelievable it's just the lord has blessed me well you've done the accomplishment of winning angler of the year i don't know that you were necessarily thinking you were going to do that in your first year on the elite series you've done that can you win in your first bastard master classic do you feel that good about today you know i mean it's been a tough practice but definitely i mean i've got a good chance as anybody i we're on lake garners and uh you know it's got the history it's got so much history and the bassmaster classic is such a special event you know it's all about making the right adjustments i mean we've had some practice it's been tough on some people it's been tough on a lot of people but somebody usually that has a tough practice ends up figuring something out during the tournament and runs with it and that's how you win big tournaments uh you know i'm excited just ready to get out and go fishing and hopefully things will come together i'm going to let my gut and instincts just tell me where to go and we'll see how it goes good luck scott canterbury leads the field there's 52 guys behind him ready to knock him off that top spot well if you don't have a little bit of nerves on this day you're not really human i don't think it's got canterbury there let's talk about the 2020 classic rules of course this is a three-day tournament as opposed to four days for our regular elite series events it's an eight-hour day we're in the five bass era the five heaviest bass per day 53 anglers fishing the full field days one and two will cut it down to 25 on day number three and the heaviest accumulative total over the three days is going to be your classic champion and we are just now getting them underway time to get this thing started oh we are more than ready for this thing to get started here these three days will go by very very quickly with that in mind let's take a look at our playing field our yamaha unlocked the lake of course it is legendary lake gunnersville thanks sevens it's 75 miles long 70 000 acres from the nickel jack damn down to the guntersville dam and davey it will be so interesting to see how this field spreads out usually they're all over the place here every part of the lake seems to be productive yeah very much so tommy it's a great lake it's a great fishery and 53 boats this lake will swallow up 53 boats we hope but here's something you always have to consider these guys had three days of official practice and one more day of practice just before this started they're good and if there's a school of fish these anglers are gonna find that school of fish they're the best in the world and sometimes you'll see anglers fishing close to one another as we have here even on lake guntersville but they'll scatter out as the tournament progresses yes we follow of course boat number one our angler of the year scott canterbury out there but has often happened most starting points for every day you're going to find a couple of other anglers that would include matt airy and stetson blaylock who's hooked up golly i couldn't even catch that fish yes there's a little chub that feels good right there boy that feels real good number two holy cow he ate it dude did you see how fast he ran i never even caught that fish there was fish all in this out here but i haven't seen anybody else catch one so what's important to realize here we've had warmer weather we've had warmer nights some low pressure the official day of practice on thursday but these anglers are faced with different conditions this morning it's cold these fish were actually schooling in the backs of these creeks that's why you see several anglers starting in the same area they were schooling those fish are still in there a lot harder to catch right now but stetson blaylock definitely hasn't figured out this morning he got it oh he should barely hook them yes dude i got him on the outside of my head it's not what it's going to take to win but that's number four we talked about scott canterbury our angler of the year that's your runner-up and the angler of the year competition from last year stetson blaylock a strong angler with a win in 2019 as well in the top six also an angler of the year a tennessee river guy for sure brandon lester i know these fish are still here i've had several just bump my trap and not not get it they're a little tight this morning and i honestly i expected that anytime you're post frontal the day after a a rain system and you got sunshine north wind they're going to be a little tight but i've got other stuff if i need it but i know what lives right here that's a little better there i think oh my god what a bass dude i got a bigot and i'm talking about a biggin son let me let me open your mouth i'm talking about the bassmaster classic baby look at that whoa that don't get you fired up you ain't breathing when that thing came up out there i thought it was like a 10. i did i swear i did it's six and a half all day long no doubt give me some on that that'll wake you up well the first morning of the bassmaster classic it's cold but brandon lester just warmed up immensely with that big fish to start the morning off oh that's one that's a supercharged moment he will remember the rest of his life brandon lester on top right behind him stetson blaylock this is my fifth one i'll never ever take one for granted as a competitor when they pull that curtain back and they play your way in song and you look up and you see people stacked all the way to the ceiling that's as as close to rock stars as we're gonna get man i mean it's been said many times but it really is the super bowl of our sport this is it there's there's no bigger stage than here the biggest stage in bass fishing will always be the bassmaster classic there's no doubt the 2020 academy sports and nothing else even comes close the academy sports and outdoors bassmaster classic presented by hook and things starting to fire up out on lake guntersville despite the post-frontal conditions it's cold and windy out there but john cruz is now on top hank cherry and brandon lester we saw him put a big one in the boat uh in our last segment let's get out to seth fider he's one of the relative veterans in this classic he's got one fish in the live well so far and seth fighter well he's aware of all the history and this event that started out as a great experiment but it certainly has turned out to be a successful one yeah no there's been 49 before and there's going to be one this week because life absolutely changes from you know winning the world championship that's the coolest thing about this sport um doesn't really matter much it happens all year long it all comes down to this this being the 50th anniversary it's a it's a big one and i i can't think of a better place to have it than gunnersville this is in my opinion the bass fishing capital of the world you know if you're going to win a classic this would be a really cool place to do it bacon bacon stay on baby stay on baby come here yes yes sir yes sir let's go slow grind baby slow grind we're gonna do this all day nice and that's what lives out here four more of them and we got them slap hands yes oh that was long long time without a bite slow grind let's go so what's different about the bassmaster classic you roll the dice there's there's one place to finish winter takes all so to speak although they pay all the way down the field but you try to win this event seth fighter along with brandon lester fishing close to the main river channel and they're looking for the big ones only it's a heck of a start we definitely got one of the ones in the box that we need at the end of the day so they're still here i got nowhere to be till 3 20. so it's all good there he is oh i don't do that ain't that big but i don't want to lose him brandon lester and again we can't stress enough his tennessee river expertise experience and looks like brandon lester definitely dialed in on this first day of the classic let's take a look now at in his first classic our rookie of the year from 2019 drew cook i mean barely i think i just put another all right so i've been throwing that that uh chatter bait through here and um you know those ones earlier they were eating pretty good i think i've had a couple of them just i mean knock the fire out of it and miss it i don't know if it's because of the front or what but um i picked up this a reco shed i have one i mean not slack in my line and didn't get it i picked up this aruco shed and um same exact cast it's got treble hooks on it and it's got some kamikaze g finesse trouble hook so if they sniff it and i'll hook them but i mean you can see with that fish he still didn't get it very good drew cook our 2019 rookie of the year making a good change and it pays off for him right there that's going to be our skeeter boats taste the bait of course right now we heard him admit it earlier he's the man with the most experience the 12th classic for john cruz we're back up here in this cubby hole and you know you can't feel really the wind but i know on the other side of the lake it's piping we'll zip it back in just at a little different angle got a little tweeds on there yep that's what we were looking for right there that'll call mini flip mini flip that d-bomb on there that's a chunker it's a three three something that's a three-something helps man it all makes a difference i mean i threw it way in there and i worked it all the way out here to the edge and then he finally ate it i mean for all i know the fish could have you know been following it the whole time and then when it gets got to the shade line he just went ahead and ate it before he could have just been sitting there it's hard to hard to say that's a good little call right there i'd say it's a good call john cruz and a great move he had a good limit to start this morning was leading early on unofficially and he changed up he was fishing off shore now he's moved these boat docks you've got to weigh in the five biggest fish he changed up techniques and it paid off in a hurry for him john cruz in fact has spent some time on top of the leaderboard today right now it's hank cherry made a big run at it back in 2013 but plenty more fishing to come being that i have fish 12 classics i've never been in contention in any classic and to put a good sack on the scales to start the tournament it means it means a lot to me it is one of those things like okay all right now we're gonna we're gonna make a run at this thing you know there's anglers that i know i'm not as good as i know that there are they're out there you know sometimes the guy that maybe works a little bit harder maybe it's his turn to win so maybe uh maybe that's what happens here [Music] still in day one at the academy sports and outdoors bass master classic presented by hook there is legendary lake guntersville look at the way it looks today after weeks i mean weeks of rain and dark clouds it looks like a totally different place now and it is post frontal and hank cherry when we left you he is on top of that leaderboard right now hank cherry fishing in his fifth classic the rookie of the year title back in 2013 also won the big all-star event in that same year up in michigan yeah tommy hank jerry got off to a great start on the elite series his very first year being the rookie of the year and and having that win he's had a great career so far but no one will ever forget him coming so close to winning the bassmaster classic in 2013. this morning he's got off to a good start good solid fish here you see a three pounder started off with and then a couple fives actually three five pounders for hank cherry and our own robbie floyd is on the scene it's time to catch the big fish for hank cherry i mean he had that you know little flurry for about an hour we caught three five pounders but when you're fishing in lake guntersville and you have a 20 pound limit it's time to go find the really big fish and that's what he's doing now um to give you more insight this spot or this area that he's in is not where he's on actually right now this area he's on is not where he wanted to be but the wind really dictated it and a guy who's a veteran of the bassmaster classic and he's got a good one this could help get out the balance beam gonna help you or no i don't know i got one small one he he didn't want to fish here he told me he said the wind really dictated that he just didn't want to fight the wind so if this is a secondary spot for him what's going to happen tomorrow and the next day when the wind lays down but you would surely have to think if i caught this many good fish here i'd still want to give this place a shot before i went out to the other stuff that might be wind blown today and here's the case you know often times you see one that's kind of close and you have to get out that balance beam and almost everybody has one but generally you can eyeball it but when the difference is one ounce and we've seen it before at the bassmaster classic you want to make sure that that one is bigger than the one you're throwing away it's about a half pound upgrade a little bit of help there for hank chariot matter of fact he is extending that lead right now and having 20 pounds this early on the first day of the classic that's got to be a great feeling even though this is gunnersville certainly we know things can happen fast first thing this morning we saw things happening very very fast for this angler from tennessee brandon lester made the right move the right place to start his day got five fish in the live well but now he's down to sixth place freaking winds making it hard to present the bait right could be a lot worse though i guess i shouldn't complain that feels heavier oh because it is get in here yes sir well brandon lester's got a good start he's got one really nice fish in live well close to seven pounds i think he's gotten off to a good start but the other four fish are smaller than he wants it's really surprising he's fishing close to the main river and i thought more of his fish along with seth fighter who's fishing in the main river be fewer bites but better quality brandon lester having a great year last year seth fighter also having a great year last year sports all about momentum i'm a total believer in that seth fighter won the toyota bassmaster angler year championship last year on saint claire so he knows how to get it done wherever he's at throughout the country we've seen seth fighter not only catch him in the north but he certainly knows how to catch him down south also uh number four i believe not the right ones but there ain't that many this size in here so the next one's probably gonna be a great big number four seth fighter you see right there he's got four fish in the live well and as he says the next one's gonna be a big one he's got that kind of attitude good attitude by stetson blaylock starting this off he said it this morning i it's my first time at the classic but i am no rookie i have lots of experience at the highest level and we saw him get a very very fast start today he's been quiet for a while but now he's getting it started again yeah yes check that out baby that's what we're after right there boys judy absolutely freak trained it i just caught the best one for me of the day right there just out here you're out kind of over this scattered stuff that's what you got to do that's what it's going to take is just making the right moves at the exact right time which is what happened right there it wasn't but second or third cast in here so you see the different strategies with brandon lesser seth fighter sticking to one area for this first day stetson blaylock is mixing it up he has several plans and one of his plan is to win the bassmaster classic i want to be able to represent bassmaster and the sport better than any champion in the past i know that answering your phone is going to be hard to answer every call you get i've only won two major events but i know for two weeks your phone blows up i can't imagine how much press and coverage and all that you would receive winning this tournament and i can tell you this that i'm ready for it i don't think that as far as life changing goes yes it is a tournament that every angler on earth wants to win or have the chance to win and to hold that trophy up it's definitely going to change your life but i feel like i've set a good path to get here and i think i'm ready to do it the 2020 academy you know growing up that you've always that was what you inspired to be is holding that trophy up on the stage if if i could possibly get a chance to make a run at it this is one thing that you don't want to finish second people don't remember who finished second it's all about winning the only person five years from now who's going to know who finished second and the classic is that person but if i could just hold that trophy up at the end of this one [Music] the really really special no doubt about it i mean be the the one of the biggest days of my life for sure there he is good one i thought he was bigger than that i'd like to catch about a nine doing that so i mentioned momentum earlier tommy look at this scott canterbury had a great year last year obviously winning bassmaster angler of the year you see start off ninth place just had a phenomenal season that's the type of year you have to have to win angler of the year lots of times he went from a mid-place finish on the last day into the top 15 or 20. that was big too big all year long actually stepped for step with him with stetson blaylock second place the angler of the year standings big one maybe not can't tell not that big it might help though dude they're chewing on that thing man chewing on it [Music] see that i love it when they bite yes we're in the game boys stetson blaylock definitely in the game where have we seen him catching big cranking well all season last year that's pretty much been his mo right now currently in the top ten that's where you want to be on this first day of three days of fishing in the world championship the bassmaster classic like they say you can't win it on this first day but you can shoot yourself out of it and stetson blaylock taking great pains to make sure he does not do that another angler that fits that description on this day is hank cherry hank jerry doing what he loves to do i've seen him so many different times different events elite events hank cherry loves fishing the rip rap these causeways when he goes to gunersville beware of a man that is very comfortable a great angler and he's very comfortable doing what he's doing right now watch out for hank cherry with the jerkbait in his hand oh let me get back there got your stuff's in the way there godly oh man i was born for this man this is everything i ever dreamed of and more [Music] big big moment there for hank cherry you obviously heard it from him right there and of course it would be a big moment for any angler to fish this place how often do bass anglers think about fishing lake guntersville how about all the time lake guntersville is like i guess the mecca of the south for bass fishing i mean this is one of the very few places with the grass on the tennessee river that you can actually come and catch them from january 1 to december 31. it's full of fish it's got history all the way back cochran kline all those guys all the way through the ages it's just a part of bass fishing it's certainly a part of bass fishing and there's one big reason why not only the bassmaster tournaments that we've had here for so many years but those weights look at them post-frontal conditions and still with time to fish 25 pounds leading hank cherry 21 pounds from clint davis well how about a little trivia question here what was the first place prize for the first bassmaster classic in 1971 was it 5 000 5 000 on a trip 7 500 or 10 000 the answer when we return you know the first bassmaster classic the winning prize was ten thousand dollars winner take all second place was last place just like in all of our other sports ten thousand dollars in 1971 was a lot of money that tin is still salted away back there it's grown pretty good since 1971 so i'm still clipping coupons off of it the great bobby murray from hot springs arkansas the winner of the very first bass master classic and of course we asked you that trivia question to uh to go to the break here just a few minutes ago and the answer well bobby murray just delivered that answer for us right now what was the first place prize for the first bassmaster classic back in 1971 it was ten thousand dollars and it was winner take all now davey height the winner in 1999 what had that jackpot gone up to at that point it wasn't winner take all by that point it was a winner take call and it was one hundred thousand dollars it's quite a bit more obviously than ten thousand dollars and now it's even more than that three hundred thousand dollars but here's the big thing that ten thousand dollars didn't change bobby murray's life but the title of being world champion being the bassmaster classic champion changed his life and everyone's life after that who has won this tournament winning the classic that's why it's a fantasy held by every professional bass angler ever but of course there's another fantasy dimension to the classic and it plays big in the background and ronnie moore at the screen of knowledge is going to tell us exactly what that is well in past bassmaster classics you always think about those local guys never really did well but over the last five six seven years a local favorite someone from that home state where the classic is has factored and so looking at the three anglers in the bassmaster classic field this week scott canterbury clint davis and matt herron they're all ones to watch for rapple of fantasy fishing scott canterbury one of the highest owned anglers 35 percent clint davis a solid 14 percent and matt herron six percent but he's in that bucket a the toughest bucket in fantasy fishing all of the high contenders from the elite series season all of the local favorites are all wedged into that top bucket so hard to gain percentage points when canterbury's gobbling up 35 of them but other notable anglers to watch in fantasy fishing cody huff the college representative he obviously has a lot of tva experience on the tennessee river over there at bethel university 26 he's in that lowest bucket and a lot of people think he's going to do well will he be the second ever college angler to make the final day we will see if he makes that top 25 cut paul mueller guy who caught the biggest bag in the classic 32 pounds here at guntersville in 2014 20 of the people picking him and chris saldane somebody always to watch in the classic a do or die big baits win or go home type of guy and that attitude has him at 15 a lot of people thinking he could be one to take on the trophy this week chris alden you remember from last year on the upper tennessee river potentially the winning pattern it was a high risk though ploy and it did not work out the wind direction and the wind speed did not work out for chris saldane it's like ronnie said he's going to be playing the low percentage ones all the time now corey johnston here's another guy he's from canada he can catch him anywhere though davey he certainly can we found out last year the very first elite series tournament for he and his brother everyone saw that they're not just good up north they can catch them all the way down in florida where the first event was last year corey johnson a great fisherman well-rounded no doubt about it and catch me anywhere here's another great fisherman shane lehu a young quiet fisherman but we've seen him catch him all season long very very quietly stayed in the top 10 angler of the year all season long shane lehu expected big things out of him this week having a slow start this morning though that one choked it well that one's gonna brighten shane's day up just a little bit another first timer in the classic but the well-established fisherman matt airy of north carolina apparently he's in the top 30 right now there's a guy who's a superb grinder he can also be a little streaky too he can locate him and go on a run if things work out now we can get the bassmaster classic start that's better much better matt eri feeling better about his day right now let's get our first look now at drew benton the angler from florida now living in georgia and drew benton well he had a good season last year but it was not without adversity you know this event it just feels like you've just prepared your whole life for it every adverse situation you've ever been through every bump in the road you prepare for this and you don't even realize it when i played baseball when i went through a category five hurricane had to pick my life back up it all prepared me for the bassmaster classic and people don't realize what kind of weight this event has on you and it's a different event it's everybody who's involved in fishing every fan every every member of bass is here and the weight of that is huge and your whole life you prepare for this and i'm just happy to be here oh wait don't think he's hooked good come here come here come here yes oh yeah wake up bass live wake up we catching them now they'll start biting this thing we're going to catch them well you can see the anglers changing up a little bit things that they started off this morning drew benton start off in the back of a creek the wind's picked up now he's changed to his backup plan so to speak and it's working out for him no doubt about it speaking of changing up hank cherry had a great start this morning he's fishing shallow with a vibrating jig and a regular jig around some boat docks with the wind picking up for hank cherry is exactly what he wants fishing this riff wrap around these causeways one side has a little too much wind on it the other one is just right it's a long stretch here that hank cherry knows that he can just settle down and spend some time it is so much easier in any tournament but especially the bassmaster classic to fish your strengths and to fish very proficiently doing what you want to do when you've got 20 pounds of live well early in the morning like hank cherry did that's when you can really put the hammer down and build up a lead like hank cherry has done it's challenge today just fishing effectively i mean you've got the wind the muddy water the dead gum grass that drifts out of these places and it is stacking everywhere doesn't feel very big can't tell though nope so you notice all the floating vegetation it can really be a problem be able to present your bait like you need to present it make the cast the perfect cast that you need to make these guys are good at what they do stetson blade like catching a lot of fish but having a difficult time even though he's got 18 pounds that floating vegetation is really not what he wants to be around well he's currently still finding himself in the top ten there's stetson blaylock in tenth place mullins herron hamilton lester todd otton and micah frazier big at this point right now it's still still early days as they say in this classic but the rest of the field is going to have their work cut out just to keep up with hank cherry just to stay in this ball game let's talk about our mercury official engine move of the day and that would be hank cherry in his move robbie floyd's with him well hey it's not a good thing generally to come in early unless you got a good back it's safe to say you've got a pretty good back yeah today was a pretty blessed day to say the least um i kind of used a back up to the back up pattern and it paid off and i uh unfortunately had a little debacle this morning trying to land a fish and i think i slipped and landed on my elbow wrong and i don't know what i did to it but it's a pretty good amount of pain right now and that was one of your biggest fishes of the day but also that's your casting arm i saw you in pain having to stretch it out how much has it affected you since then if i'm out cranking or throwing a bladed jig or anything like that i can manage with my left hand it's just a lot of discomfort really i mean it's like every time i take it out in the end it's like somebody's just cutting me with a pair of scissors so i'm not sure exactly what i did this is like the seventh inning of a world series game you know and i'm the guy pitcher that didn't want to come out with the bum arm and i got to get two more innings done so i'm gonna go at it like i always do as hard as i can good lord willing i'll take that trophy to north carolina if not there'll be no doubt that i give it them all forget two innings you've got two more games still left today saturday and sunday but this man caught him on day one of the 50th bassmaster classic thank you robbie and hank robbie making the move they'll grab that jig and then just let it go cool brandon lester making a little difference at the end of the day there that's going to get him up into the top five so that is a good fish to have at competitors in the world championship man oh man that is a big number for the first day hank cherry 29-3 almost an eight-pound lead over the likes of clint davis john cruz brandon lester everyone is going to be pursuing hank cherry from this point on in the classic and as we put it into perspective we look at the biggest bags the heaviest one day catch in the five bass era there's hank cherry all the way up to third place right there in davey height 29.3 under the conditions is remarkable relative to the rest of the field that may be where the big story is absolutely you know it's incredible to to lead the bassmaster classic by almost eight pounds i always said a lot of other anglers that compete in the classic i don't want to leave the first day because you get all that attention that extra pressure the spectators the extra cameras that sort of thing but if you're going to lead the first day of classic go ahead and leave by eight pounds like hank cherry has done yeah absolutely of course he hasn't won it yet we got two more days yet to come we can't put his hands on that trophy just yet no no doubt about it a lot of pressure on hank jerry now he's dreamed of this his whole life and don't forget he finished really high had a chance to win just a few years back his rookie season almost had a chance to win a bassmaster classic so a lot of pressure on hank cherry now we'll see
