hey guys chance here with Rocky Mountain here to give you my first impressions of the all-new 2019 Husqvarna te 300 I [Music] [Music] alright guys I'm super excited to give you my first impressions of this bike this bike has been anxiously awaited in anyone in the off-road scene but first off a little bit in the model lineup for Husqvarna no big changes were done to the enduro models most big changes were done to the motocross models and the cross-country models however the big change for enduro models was just the model lineup they added this te 300 I so last year in 2018 we got a good taste of the TPI technology in the 250cc enduro models this was some awesome technology that made riding a little more fun the reasons why big reason was jetting jetting was always perfect whether you're writing a low elevation high elevation or if you're having a big elevation change in one ride you never had to worry about it second is oil injection so the gas you put into your tank it's pure gas no premix the oil tank that you have you fill it up it'll last a few tanks of gas and it gives you the perfect ratio of oil every time you ride so it's some really cool technology making riding back that much more simple so today we're gonna take this 300 out and see what this can really do so after humping on this bike and getting a few miles and this thing's awesome so there are a few differences between the KTM version and the husky version some of those changes or differences are linkage suspension so the Husky has the linkage suspension and the K team has PDS and this type of terrain that I'm riding in we haven't really been able to find much of a difference they both do great and the higher speed stuff maybe woofster maybe more like ham scrambles death it races the linkage seems to sit down and contact the the ground a little bit better [Music] [Applause] both both of the KTM and husky enduro bikes they're going to be running the Explorer fork their grit fork there's not much complaints one issue is that the Explorer fork it's not very adjustable in stock form a lot of people are having to revolve in order to get the settings that are wanting just not too much it's not too big of a deal the husky does come with a external preload adjuster on the fork cap which bit a little bit of an added bonus I can switch that on the fly without any tools it is a nice feature from Husqvarna tires that were running there's a eighty eighty ones from Dunlop it's a good off-road tire never really had any complaints about the tire clutch and brake though that is a big difference between the KTM and the husky kay teams are running full Brembo setups clutch and brake they've been running them for years and they've actually it's a great setup Husqvarna couple years ago went to a Magura style clutch had a has an awesome clutch pull the feel is great and then just this year then loose it to all the models with the break so right now I'm not I'm a girl break and it does great I am I really can't tell much of a difference between the Brembo and the maguro brakes one of the big differences between the key team and husky of course are the difference between subframes k teen with the aluminum husky with the carbon fiber composite so frame I can't tell the difference and last year we saw this cool technology on the 250cc enduro bike and it was fun [Music] there's food technology it makes running a 2-stroke just to have much more simple however the 250 is not for everyone the 250 motor it needs to be revved it loves the power band it lacks in deck the low low thrall that boeing cry it just doesn't have this doesn't have like 300 does so we were super excited that the 300 came out this year with this TPI technology one thing I can say is if you're doing anything off-road any kind of technical writing log hopping bulldogging through rocks anything that requires little low-end grunt this is the bike to have it pulls out of corners probably a lot easier than it should [Music] you don't have to be on the power band all the time you can sit there you can write it mellow if you want but you can write it aggressive if needed some complaints that do have about this bike and/or the TPI technology in general is it is raising the cost of owning a two-stroke true I might save a few cents on oil getting the perfect ratio every time however with each top-end they do say - to replace the oil pump with each top-end which adds a little extra cost still nowhere close to the the price of a four-stroke rebuild but it's it's going the wrong way in my opinion and another one of my opinions and I'm not a big fan of is Katie teaming Husky I've always tried to suit the 120 130 pound Rider I don't think there's a that many of us out there if there aren't great I'm proud of how proud for you guys so they could definitely spring enough from the factory but again probably get this suspension set up anyway so if you have any comments or questions about this bike and about what we're gonna do to it please comment below and if you liked this video and want to see more content like it like bike builds how to's product spotlights please subscribe to our YouTube channel I don't chance in Rocky Mountain thanks for watching [Music] you
