hello friends Clayton Phillips here from Woody's RV world in Leduc Alberta Canada and I'm gonna shoot another fly through video here on the grand design reflection 311 BHS this is a fifth-wheel by reflection they've been building this floorplan for a few years now and it just year after year just performs at a high level it's kind of that next jump up out of the smaller type bunk models it's not huge by any stretch but there's tons of space on the inside because it's a quad slide fifth wheel and real nice length and 36 feet 10 inches if you want something that's a little bit bigger but not you know 40-plus feet in a mid profile which will get your hitch weight down a little bit lighter than some of the high profiles that you see on the in the in the market today but again true to form foreground design quality quality structure foundation the way they put it all together that golden thread of consistency that grand design has throughout their products again carries through here so let's jump into it here on the front end grand design their front caps they use what they call a structure cap and that structure cap ties in the front end of the trailer most manufacturers use structure caps that's just the way they are they put you know edges and and in that front mold when they're designing that front cap to create rigidity in that front cap so when that cap goes on it goes on square but grand design goes the extra step with their fifth wheels they actually put a steel aluminum cage in behind that front cap that again ties in the from wall to wall roof to floor so that it really helps eliminate or reduce the amount of deflection you can get in the front caps if you're you know towing it down a bumpy road through a little bit of a dip in the road or through the ditch to get into your favorite camping spot you want to have a nice solid front end because where that kingpin attaches to the truck that's going to be the the first flex point of the trailer and you want to have it structurally you know solid up front not just for tow ability purpose purposes but livability a lot of manufacturers without that front steel-cage and a smaller you know structure cap up front with less ridges what can happen is that you can get your your slide outs don't close properly you can get moisture intrusion all those types of things because you got too much flex on the front end of the trailer and grand design really does all the right things to help eliminate that or reduce it again grand design true to form front caps are all painted with an automotive paint so there's a far less chance of that cloudiness and discoloration coming down as you've seen probably on trailers as you're passing going down the highway they get that discoloration you know to repaint a front cap you're talking thousands of dollars plus the replacement of the graphic and some graphics go out of production where you can't get them anymore so with grand design again fully painted front cap which is nice and the graphic that big beautiful reflection graphic up top that's a 3m graphic it comes with a five year warranty it's higher quality it's thicker it's gonna it's got a UV coating of protection on the outside of it so it's gonna you know hold up and stand the test of time unlike some other cheaper graphics that are used throughout the industry so yeah on the front cap they do the LED docking light for you know hooking up at night there's a switch just right up underneath the overhang right here that activates that light and if that light was to ever burn out it's not that strip light that's a little more difficult to change out this is literally two screws and you can pop it off and change it out and that sort of thing again the air dam on the front of the cap here that's this ridge right here that air down what that does is serves a couple purposes one again tying back to the rigidity of a front cap it's not gonna flex and stresses they're putting that front cap on it helps keep it rigid but also what this does is it breaks up the wind that hits the front cap so typically the wind will hit the back of the tailgate is your towing down the road and create a bit of a vortex in the back of the truck and it can sometimes spit depending on how windy it is spit items out of the back of your truck so having that air down there actually helps break up that wind and creates for a little bit smoother ride and whatnot so again up here front between your propane tanks or your leveling legs or your front landing gear you've got a full storage compartment spot for all your you know batteries if you want to run multiple batteries or just one battery each landing leg up front has got its own motor it's tied in with the leveling system on this trailer motion sensor lighting here as well which works real nice Furion solar charge port as well so if you wanted to pack one of those two k-style solar panels with yeah you just plug it in there lay it on the ground and that'll you hook right up to your batteries here so we're gonna hit the wait badge here on the driver's side of the trailer as well so the dry weight as this trailer came off the assembly line is eleven thousand five hundred eight pounds your GVWR is thirteen thousand nine hundred and ninety five pounds which gives you a cargo carrying capacity of two thousand four hundred and twenty seven pounds now your hitch weight on this particular trailers the manufacturer calls it as two thousand one hundred and eighty pounds so this trailer is ideal if you have a 3/4 ton gas diesel and above a little too heavy for the half tons unfortunately and the three quarter tonnes will definitely get it done so if you got that type of truck and you want a little bit bigger bunk model but not massive this one will get it done for you again pass-through storage compartments this is where grand design absolutely shines you want to check out quality on products look in there pass-through storage compartments it'll tell a lot of stories but again true to form more aluminum tubing the most manufacturers it's thicker it's taller it's all fully bead welded together it's not screwed together I'll just zip in on the the weld there for you so you can see that they're heated compartments as well the strapping that they use is all aluminum that's welded to the structure of the trailer which is real nice and since their inception they've only used unobstructed pass-through storage compartments so you don't see the PVC plumbing running down the middle of the storage compartment off the bottom of your toilet they all tuck it back out of the way so you have a much bigger opening fully utilize pass-through storage compartment they even do a vinyl decking here versus a carpet like some manufacturers you'll find manufacturers will sometimes use the carpet to hide things the edges so when you put the the vinyl decking down you really got to be tight on your corners and the way the trailer fits together which is good your control module here or a remote for your auto leveling system it's the electric system on this particular model the 311 you do get the six point 3.0 Lippert leveling system which works really really good it also has the auto return feature on it so it will memorize the last spot that you unhooked from so hooking up again is really really easy back over here on the past few storage compartment again Nautilus p1 utility system I talked about it on all the videos they use it exclusively throughout all of their fifth wheels right from the reflection 150 up through the solitude and momentum lines its first class it's all color-coded you can backfill your freshwater tank you winterize your trailer through here city water dry camping it has a water pump switch located right up here as well hot and cold tap for your outside shower black tank flush it has it all here the gate valves for your holding tanks on this particular product or up inside the trailer there is one further back that's up inside the valve itself is in the heated area also which works real good but what's nice about this utility panel is that it bypasses your hot water heater as well there's no more pulling a false panel off the back of your hot water heater getting on your hands and knees with a flashlight looking for the three valves to turn it's all done right through here as well which is real nice motion sensor lighting again in the past few storage coax for your satellite connections and whatnot and then a 110 plug for your water wondering how you get your fresh water hooked up it literally just ports up through this porthole access here you can see the fingers so that hose can go through and then literally this is big enough that will hold just the freshwater hose you don't have to worry about little critters curling up your fresh water holes getting inside your trailer of course city water connection right there so beautiful beautiful storage compartment grand design does it right and they're setting the standard for what it takes to you know higher standard for what if you know how a trailer should be built and and what it should look like so again one nice thing that's about this floorplan is that your hot water heater and your furnace are all in the off door side so your hot water heater here is a six gallon tank but with gas and electric it does 17.8 gallon recovery per hour which is really really nice it's super high efficient built by Atwood and it comes with a little plastic clear plug so as opposed to the big anode rod your furnace is a 35,000 BTU furnace in this particular fifth-wheel as well grand design tries to use a 35,000 throughout 95% of their product that way they can buy a bigger furnace cheaper because they're just doing more volume in it but that furnace will heat up the inside of the trailer what's real nice about the location they try to put this in all of their products especially in the fifth wheels is they put them underneath the overhang or the upper deck in that belly of the trailer the nerve center if you want to call it that and what that does especially with the ducting system that ground design uses in their products when the furnace is running or your hot water heaters running it's much quieter when you're inside the trailer and if you've had an RV before you know how loud and noisy those items can be when they're running so well zip here underneath the the trailer show you is fully enclosed and heated underbelly your under floor in this particular product is an AR 30 so you know industry-leading from that perspective and the mid profile fifth wheels and a couple things they have going on here you got some low point drains you pull those plugs out you know once a year kind of thing to get the water out when you want to winterize it and then the plugs go back in but you can see where they do all the spray foam insulation to help seal in and around the the the openings where that plumbing pokes out through will try to find it here and it may have to access it further back but grand design uses a gate valve for the drain on the freshwater tank as well which is real nice and we'll jump into that when we get a little further down but super clean underbelly you know less turbulence going up underneath the trailer when you enclose your underbelly and again our 30 in the in the in the floor on this particular product get over here this is the this two piers for your hose so they don't put bumpers on the backs of these which is totally fine because there's a huge benefit to it for what grand design puts on it but that sewer hose holder will actually hold a great big long sewer hose you can see how far back that sucker goes and you know a lot of the sewer hoses nowadays are a little thicker because they have better material but they have real nice elbows and ends on them that you know this should be able to hold all those things for you which is nice again you can see the leg there for your middle stabilized leveling system they're super clean under slide it's just finished off real nice ground design doesn't use a dark hole fabric which can wear out where you've got friction where the slide moves in and out you know you've got the double blade seals here so there's one here sorry I'll get up here with the camera blade seal here blade seal here and then you've got the bulb seal so when those slide outs come in it's squeegees off any moisture on the exterior of the slide-out which works real well and that that double blade seal goes all the way around the slide-out as well so they would do a cap edge here just really helps protect your investment you know from you know friction things moving in and out and that sort of thing so Grand Designs real thinking really thinking from that perspective come back here these are rack and pinion slide systems what's real nice about the rack and pinion slide system versus a cable slide system is that there's major benefits but one of the things is that the slide system what moves a slide in and out is that that arm right there as opposed to a cable and if your motor was to ever fail or you run out of battery power you can simply there's a drive nut that gets poked out through the frame rail and I'll try to find one for you to shoot it shoot in on but you basically put a crank handle on that and just manually crank in your slide out which super super easy as opposed to using a drill inside the trailer up in here is the gate valve for your freshwater tank so you just pull that t-handle there and that's gonna drain your sixty gallon freshwater capacity in the trailer real fat fast the blue hose there that's the overflow for the freshwater tank as well so as you're filling up your freshwater tank when that blue hose starts spitting that means your tank is filled which is real nice dexter towing system on the ground design products so you have a dexter axle which has a five-year warranty on it you have a dexter never adjust brake which is real nice and then they have the dexter easy Lube hubs there's a cap that silver cap gets popped off there and you can use a grease gun and you can literally cycle it you inject the new grease and the way that that hub is designed is that it cycles the old grease out around the grease gun end and the new grease comes in so once that you start seeing that new that new grease come out you know you've got you know fully grease bearings you don't have to do the big expense of full wheel bearing repack like some products are using so again Lyons had West Lake tires five year warranty what up sorry one year no-questions-asked replacement and that's a 16 inch tire so it's a nice big big tire which is cool and the alloy wheels so Grand Designs put in the right running gear on the bottom sides their trailer and you've got the Dexter suspension system here in the middle so that rubber bushing there really helps for a smoother ride it helps you know reduce the amount of vibration and chucking you get inside the trailer allows that tired a more free flow within the wheel well which is nice lock tank flush there as well for your rear so we're gonna get back we're a little bit tight here I'm going to shoot to the back of the trailer here so tank capacities on this particular product you've got a 60 gallon fresh capacity 87 gray so that's two tanks you've got two bathrooms in this trailer a half bath and a full bath and then your black tank is 83 gallon capacity which is really really nice so again quad slide grand design here at the back ladders on all of their products folks they do that because they put walk on roofs on everything and there's slide boxes because they're fully laminated every vertical wall the roof of the trailer is fully laminated you can literally stand on the tops of their slide outs which is really really nice they're built square to exact specifications they don't hang fiberglass on these rear rear end walls hung wall they do a laminated wall so it's block foam all aluminum framed laminated in a in a in a the proper environment to you know maintain the lamination and consistency of their products so again grand design they're doing all the right things from that and that's how they came up with that three or structural warranty is because they built the product to support that warranty and they're the first manufacturer again to come out with that three-year structural warranty which is real good but again full walk on roof it's a TPO roof it's not a rubber roof rubber roofs if you've seen that you get those ugly streaks coming down the outside of your trailer they embed chalk in the rubber roofs and that's where if it rains you get those ugly streaks and they can it's quite sticky that chalk coming down the side of your trailer ground design uses a TPO material it comes the rolls real easy when they're building the roof and you don't have to worry about that chalking because there is no chalk in that in that rubber so again you've got the rear-vision pre wire recommend the observation camera camera by fury on has an enhanced ability mode it's really nice if you want to you know watch the bike racks as you're going down the highway or the bike rack going down the highway if you wanted to flat toe a quad trailer or a fishing boat or something along those lines you can do it with that again grand design also part of the reason why they don't do the bumper is because they give you the three thousand-pound receiver so that's new for 2019 before it was just designed for a bike rack this year they give you the chain eyelets and the flat for wiring right there so if you want to drag a flat deck with a with a quad on it or a fishing boat you've got it you've got a three thousand pound hitch to be able to do that and that's rated rate from the factory which is real real nice 300 pound hitch rating on this hitch as well so again or if you just want to slide a bike rack in there and and pack all the kids bikes because this is a quad bunkhouse that you can definitely do that with this trailer so I'm gonna come down around towards the entry side of the trailer again thirty-six feet ten inches in length quad slide mid profile fifth wheel buy grand design 311 BHS this has the great big outdoor kitchen and grand design there's a real nice job with their outdoor kitchens one they give you the bigger bar fridge they do have the pull-out range here let's pull out range is nice if you want to cook your eggs and bacon in the morning without messing up the inside of the trailer you can do that this just slides in right out of the way and that nice drawer and exposes that extra counter space that you get get a real nice drawer here as well all solid wood drawer fronts all plywood construction you know they're really doing all the right things from a build perspective to maintain the longevity of the product but you do get the upper cabinets motion sensor lighting in here as well which is real nice and you know you open up that door and that light automatically turns on which is real cool and you get the sink that sink doesn't drain into specifically into a gray tank there's a drain out the other side that you can hook up to a a bucket or whatever to you know get rid of the water but you do get the hot and cold tap there which is real real nice so and the door itself acts as a canopy so if it's raining drizzle in a little bit you know you can definitely use that outdoor kitchen which is good again we're gonna shoot up underneath the bottom side of the trailer here show you the show you the slide outs just pan around here a little bit give you some good visibility spare tire here at the back there's your barbecue Quick Connect there as well for your range top or if you want to plug in a barbecue so read underneath your outdoor kitchen there alright one of the neat things with this floorplan you might not have saw we're seeing it was dual awnings so you basically got awning from what I look at how I look at it down the entire length of the trailer so you got awning with your outdoor kitchen because of the door you've got an awning on the outside wall of the slide-out with that LED light strip which is real nice and then you've got an awning from the door going forward further back so tons of canopy space what's beautiful about that as if it's raining you can literally set up dual patio mats utilize the outside of the trailer when it's raining and you can adjust these awnings so that you can drop the roller tube to the right or to the left depending on what way you want the water tip to run off your your awning and you get that L nice LED light strip at the base where the fabric meets the wall on both awnings the speaker's there are blue light speaker so that light is turns on when you activate the light for the LED light strip as well so again you've got the aluminum entry step it's a one entry trailer coming up we call that the butter step folds up and down real nice and smooth which is good Arctic insulation package with the ground design product so again you've got our 40 in your roof in your front cap because it's a two-inch wall you get our nine in your sidewall our 24 in your slide floor and then our 30 in your floor so things to look for on other products folks the the width of the entry doors the height of the entry doors I know a lot of people like my wife she uses a laundry hamper to be to get the goods in and they love the trailer having that wider door is much nicer to be able to get those big wide laundry hampers through the doors which is real nice skinnier doors you're busting your knuckles on getting them in and out and that sort of thing so in your pass-through storage compartment on this the entry side of course shows a little bit bigger because it's a little wider door which is nice but again motion sensor lighting battery disconnect switch all the aluminum tubing you've got extra wiring here for a 110 plug coax cable connection there's a porthole accessory here that you can access to run your cables up through and seal off which is pretty cool and then nice thick baggage doors metal latches magnet to hold that up or door up which is good so just gonna zip back here give you another shot of the outside before we jump inside the reflection 3:11 BHS here at woodys RV world in leduc Alberta Canada Woody's RV world we've been in business for you know almost 35 years in the Alberta market we're family owned & operated and and we've got stores thrilled to Provence we're here in LaDuke our new store we opened about a year ago and been doing a lot of good things in the market here in LaDuke so we're just gonna shoot down the entry side of the trailer here this particular floor plan we optioned in or stuck with the booth dinette bunk model this does fold down into a bed if you like it we can option in a freestanding dinette which would give you the table and the four chairs so but this you do get storage under each of the benches as well as it goes down into a bed what's nice about this is you still get a great big window besides your dinette and it does open we optioned in on this particular model as we do with most of our reflections the thermal pane insulated dual went dual pane windows so that window has that argon gas in it it's going to help keep it cooler when it's hot out but also it's going to help keep it warmer when it's cold out and it's just an insulated window so you're less chance of that frost building up and that sort of thing and you know if you're into cold weather camping that window is just a little bit better which is nice lights above on a switch you got the switch here for the awning on the outside wall of the slide-out here and then you've got a slit switch here as well they've gone to the MCD roller shades up inside the trailer as well so that's a real nice blackout shade as opposed to that woven fabric on a string which can stretch out and that sort of thing that MCD roller shade works real slick we optioned in you got two seating options here one you've got the theater seating which we optioned here with the blue lighting you've got the massage the heat fully reclines across from the entertainment center but you can also if you prefer we can get a trifold sofa which will flip out and make into a bed so I went with the theater seating in this particular model just because you got so many beds especially with that booth dinette that to have that extra nice super comfy seat is is real nice but what's nice is we can flip-flop seating around grand design on the reflection only does one color this is the cappuccino so if we need to do a furniture swap it makes it really really easy to do so got a little hutch here beside the theater seat for storage extra goodies and then across from your seating here you've got your LED television as well as wide-angle fireplace and that fireplace is actually a 5000 BTU heater so with that and your 35,000 BTU furnace you've got 40,000 BTUs of heating capability with this trailer which is real nice so if you don't want to run your furnace you can turn on that 5000 BTU heater in the fireplace and watch a movie and it'll really help warm up the the living area here of the trailer which is real nice and again grand design DNA item as we're talking about heating there's no heat ducts in the floor and they're products on the main living floor which is really nice so you don't have to worry about the kids you know the dog hair the dog food the Cheerios the crayons the dirt and debris that we track inside our trailers when you're sweeping out the inside of the trailer it sweeps out much nice you don't have that stuff going down and be your heat ducts and you actually have a stronger floor as well because they're not having to accommodate for cutting that track down the middle of your floor and it's quieter as well there's so many benefits to having your heating ducts you've actually see two of the ducts here right off the base of the island it actually blows out across the floor which works really really nice you know when your slide outs are fully retracted if you are into winter camp you may want to run your furnace as you're traveling down the road you don't have a slide out covering a heat duct which is really good so again there's slide-outs known for their pantry space folks huge pantry call that the Holy Grail right there of RV pantries the RISM is a motion sensor lighting at the top so you can open and close that pantry if you're a midnight snacker come down you open up the pantry door and that that light will turn on stainless steel convection fury and microwave up top above your new style residential style range they're all propane the range top and the oven they're both standalone what's really slick about the oven here folks one there's a light but also you don't have to get your spark or and get on your hands and knees anymore and light the the coupler at the back or the pilot light here it's all done through the knobs that you can light it and turn it on right from the knobs no more gettin on your hands and knees and looking with a flashlight to the back ear oven which is really nice and then your your range top here has actually got a sparkler on it as well which is works really slick standard on this particular product folks you do get the four door 12 cubic foot Dometic gas electric refrigerator you've got the big freezer up top here which is nice lots of space all the shelves all the holders on the doors which works we're all good and then you've got your big refrigerator side of things one of the things that gran design puts in this is the little blockers on the on the ends of the shelves so this little bad boy here that will help reduce the chances of your items sliding off and transport little things it's an add-on you know the RV manufacturer doesn't have to get that if they want to save some money on the refrigerators you'll find a lot of products do not have that grand design is doing it right they're adding more shelves giving you a little bit extra space a fridge is not a fridge in the art industry they're not all the same as what I'm trying to say you know just because it says Dometic and it's a 12 cubic foot doesn't mean it has all the same stuff on it so again you've got the hutch here at the entry door all solid surface countertops it's a thicker countertop which is real nice real hot nice high-end look but they go with a lighter countertop which I really like it doesn't show the wear and tear like a darker countertop which is good and then you've got the upper storage here so you know spot you can put your Keurig coffee maker there they got you the extra plugins USB connection here on this hutch you can set up a toaster your Margaritaville machine whatever you're into you got tons of storage to be able to hold those items but lots of counter space to be able to place them which is real nice so onto the island here in the kitchen you got the fully adjustable or pullout faucet head here which works real nice for you know spraying and cleaning off the dishes but again I love the name farm-style sink grand design puts in a great big sink I love it because you can actually hide a dinner plate in the sink which is nice if you do the sixth 50/50 or 60/40 split sometimes it's not big enough to be able to hold that dinner plate if you're not really you know motivated to do the dishes right away you can hide in your dishes with those nice solid sink covers but if you like want to save a little bit of water and have just a dunk basin you can you got enough space here to put a Rubbermaid container which works real nice and the stainless steel sink unlike an acrylic sink doesn't just looks better longer and less chance of cracking and you know that sort of thing so and look at look how thick that countertop sink cover is like super thick super strong so again in the kitchen they give you these real nice light spotlights here above your island which create a real nice sharp look you've got the rain sensor max fan in your kitchen they do this in all of their fifth wheel products the the remote for it is over on the wall but it has a rain sensor on it so that if it rains gets wet that lid will close you have to worry about moisture coming inside the trailer of course if you're dry camping you need a battery power in order for it to work but again real real nice your giving you all those extra features which a lot of manufacturers will hold back but what's cool about this floorplan again folks ground design and most of their floor plans they try to design it where you've got all of the big windows on the entry side of your trailer so standing up here at the kitchen island you can look right out that window and look right into your camp space which is real nice lots of flexibility there so we're gonna just run around here and head to that back bunk room here you got a back bunk slide here on the slide-out comes with the trifold couch which makes out into a queen-size bed and then at the bub above it you've got a real nice it's like 36 inch depth bunk room with a window and behind it which works real nice that bed flips up out of the way so you can literally hook up a television here if you want you know when turn it into a rear TV room for the kids playroom what-have-you and you know tuck them away at night and they got lots of space but the the bed that the way they've designed this is you've got excellent storage three great break big drawers here for all the kids goodies you've got the closet here underneath the the upper bunk here so rather than going to a dual bunk system they've built this out a little further with the ladder of course to help the little ones get up on top but this bed is like a double bed up on top versus a small single so they've really done as a smart job so you can literally sleep two kids up top here you can sleep two down here and then one big one up top or even a couple little ones up top I mean you can sleep potentially you know six six kids back here with lots of space and if you got a little one that's not quite ready for the bed you got tons of floor space here to be able to set up a playpen which works real good and for the older kids if you have guests you get the half bath here so you get the toilet the sink the mirror and then above you've got the event with the fan as well so nice light extra capacity which is really really good so again no heat ducts in the floor folks grand design just does it right cool thing new development with grand design they're the first manufacturer industry-first it just was recently launched doing a partnership with NTP stag an NTP stag is a parts distribution company in Canada in the US and what they do is a lot of the items that are more common in the industry what grand design is done is those items that grand design has they have a certain amount of inventory at each of their distribution facilities so that us as a dealer we can get you on the road much quicker with grand design products we're not waiting on the manufacturer to ship it from there agree it's coming right from NTP stagg because they have a beautiful North American distribution center not centered one spot but throughout distribution centers so as a dealership we can you know order in the parts for your trailer and get them much quicker and get you on the road camp and and enjoying your trailer much much quicker which is good you've got the nice easy no carpet spot for your where you walk up your steps much easier to keep clean you know if the where you built that carpet packing down which is real nice you've got a motion sensor lighting right here it's your entryway as well which is super cool so if you haven't set to motion sense at night if you open up the the door you'll walk in that motion sense will turn that light on that way you're not fumbling for all your switches in the dark and then you've got your convenience center here as well so you have all your tank monitors slide switches gas electric hot water heater all this stuff right here at your entry door easy to access which is cool and another nice thing about this particular floor plan is you can access the refrigerator when the slide outs are fully retracted a lot of trailers they pinch off those walkways so if you're traveling down the road with the family you want to make a sandwich grab something from the fridge or hit the bathroom you have easy access to both those areas there's the remote for your max fan coming up hooks for coats and that sort of thing in the hallway here but coming into your bathroom here folks it is a walk flow through bathroom so they do do the swing door here on a lot of products where they don't do that most of them where they don't do the walkway access from the bedroom they'll do a pocket door here just for safety purposes to be able to get in and out of the bathroom but because you have that will access from your bedroom they did to do a swing door here now corner shower with the glass doors that are on a roller which makes it real nice that shower is surprisingly big it's very out you know very spacious if you come down to the dealership always recommend you stand in the shower flare your elbows out and just really feel how much space you got in there but you've got a towel rack again porcelain foot flush toilet kind of panning around here real nice storage here I'm gonna jump in the shower so stainless steel sink storage above lots of shelves and then you've got the upper vanity here as well with storage in behind in the corner so spot for a towel we're gonna shoot in the bedroom now this has a wardrobe slide in it so you got a spot here for stacking all your towels in your bathroom extra drawer there as well nice deep drawer pocket door to close off to your bathroom from your bedroom so that pocket door will close off this area but then you've got a real nice closet for hanging up your clothing which is good and then dual drawers with the shelf and a nice window so really open master bedroom here again folks in all of the reflection 5th wheels with the north/south bed they build them the same way consistency is key for grand design but what I absolutely love about this bedroom is it gives you more of an at-home spaciousness feel so you get the nightstands on either side of your bed a lot of manufacturers aren't as innovative with storage like grand design is so what happens is you'll literally get storage that drops down from you know on this side of the bed but it drops all the way down and they do that on both sides in a lot of cases so what happens is it feels like you're sleeping in a tunnel to where your nose is like 2 inches away from that wall so if you're a little more claustrophobic or you like to let your arm hang off the bed with this particular floorplan you can do it and they give you 110 plugs on either side so if you need a CPAP machine and then USB connections here right above the bed and this shelf here is a great spot to be able to you know place your cell phone at night your mobile device what have you and plug into that USB connection to make sure you have them fully charged while you sleep at night so again the beds and all the grand design products or residential size beds this is a queen sized bed so 60 wide by 80 inches long the regular fitted sheets will go around it real nice if you don't like the mattress it's not suited to your sleeping style you can go to any mattress shop and get a regular queen size 60 by 80 bed it'll fit the same dimensions without you know taking up walk space at the end of the bed so real clean storage though gas struts hold this up plywood decking so yeah and this is Clayton
