Vick's pass on the opening play might be the most beautiful throw in NFL history. He just flicks his wrist and cruise-missiles it 88 yards for a touchdown.
This was the first Eagles I went to, little did I know I was about to witness history. There was so much hype coming into this game. The match up Vick v. McNabb, and the NFCE rivalry on MNF -- the energy was building in the parking lot all day and 8 pm hit, the booze was settling in.
The place was absolutely rocking at kickoff amd pregame, and then a few moments later the entire place begroaned in unison. Never witnessed a sudden massive change in mood after that first TD.
I was there! The only NFL game I've ever been to. Rode to the game with 5 Redskins fans that were talking so much shit. The car was a lot quieter on the way home lol.
Spent the rest of that year on Madden opening every game with that play.
God, I fucking love Vick so much. I remember being at football practice and hearing he picked him up. I was so fucking hype.
I really wonder what his career would look like without the controversy. He missed the prime of it.

Ahhhh I was at this game, it was when I lived in DC for a few years. Sat in the endzone where the eagles drove towards 1st/3rd quarters, saw that bomb to Desean. Best part, there were a bunch of Eagles fans in our section, one of them brought a sign with McNabb's face on a turkey that said, "How's our leftover turkey?" (the game was around Thanksgiving). Trying to find a picture of it in my drive. Priceless.
Fast forward to 10:05. It will make you very happy.
I remember this game like it was just last week.
