One of the seminal moments in the sport in my opinion. Every driver near the front was an absolute titan of the sport and a future hall of gamer, and for that moment they all battled on equal terms. If you don’t like that then this sport isn’t for you.
The gen.4 era was the pinnacle of plate racing. The runs the cars could get and sound they made. What a time.

This race was fun to watch. Me and my mom (Gordon fans), my dad (Jr fan), along with some of their friends (one a Johnson fan, another a fan of Stewart). Didn’t hear much of the commentary cause we were all cheering. Miss those days.
This is the NASCAR I grew to love. The ticker and the cars and the sunset at Daytona is incredible. It doesn’t look the same today
So fortunate I was at this race. It was a good one!
God I miss this racing. I'd even take this version of the Chase if it meant getting Gen 4 quality racing week in, week out.
