you [Music] [Music] hi good morning we're in Lenoir Tennessee when I left you guys we were in Florida we did not get the original load that I wanted out of Florida Gauhar out of South Carolina go into Phoenix the one that I was waiting for so I spent all day yesterday down in the truck stop doing nothing which was kind of a good thing I did get a reset out of the deal so I got a 34-hour reset so yesterday morning I got offered two loads to Arizona one out of Tampa excuse me one out of Orlando and one out of Asheville North Carolina and the they were both about 20,000 pounds they both had eight foot drops tarps meaning their big dark job but the one in North Carolina which was 530 miles away including my dead yet with my dead head paid 31 cents a mile more than the one out of Orlando so I opted to go ahead and deadhead all the way up to Ashland North Cal Asheville Asheville North Carolina and and pick up this load and it worked out really good because it it didn't load till 7:00 between 7:00 and 11:00 o'clock last night so worked out great because I I got up there about seven o'clock and got loaded about two hours so I had all day to drive up there so it worked out really good worked out real good to to get up there and then they let me sleep on the property so what we have are like the big huge breaker boxes and it required a big tarp job they used an overhead crane to lower the tarps on I'll show you once we got outside is kind of nasty outside right now as you can see I just got a shower so anyway yesterday was a late evening and got done about ten o'clock at night I guess we got done and then I ended up sleeping sleeping on their property got out of the air drove through Knoxville and we're on the other side we're on the west side of Knoxville on i-40 Lenoir City I got fuel I took a shower and I feel much better and we're gonna knock some miles out we're gonna try to get on the other side of Memphis today is what we're we're shooting for and as you can see it's kind of a dreary rain which I guess is what I wanted I actually wanted like a gully washer range but I'll take this kind of wash the salt off the underneath of the truck so you ask part of my fault ask mccrane anyway I'm in a good mood I've got a good paint load on and I'm heading home so well we should be home Sunday evening is what I'm thinking and if we're going to go deliver these in Phoenix all in one day so let's get on the other side of Nashville the weather might clear up a little bit we'll go outside take a look over guys talking a bit [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] Jenny [Applause] [Applause] [Music] all right we made it down here we're in hurricane Mills Tennessee at the pilot truck stop we're gonna go outside take a look at what we got it's just a little misty rain but it's not too bad Laura you know I've never really I'm gonna make a video of all the cameras I have about four cameras that I use but this camera here this is my GoPro Hero 5 in a metal case I bought this this metal case and then I added this little bracket and this mic so you'll see me sometimes when I'm talking into camera sometimes I'll reach around what I'm doing is I'm turning the little mic around so it helps with the volume but in order to have a mic on a GoPro you have to buy this little adapter little adapter right there's 50 bucks but anyway one day I'm going to do a video of all the cameras are used but this is my outdoor camera that I really like it took me a while to find a mic that was good enough so all right let me turn it on here and let's go outside take a look all right okay let's take a look at what we got there's the pilot sign right there it's kind of it's been a misty rain on and off all day not too bad it's kind of kind of what I wanted I really wanted like a gully washer rain but I'll take that ah here let's step back so I know I've lost a Bungie right there that I need to replace that I just stopped so what we have is these are big basically the guy told me these are breaker boxes so there's one with scissors one two three and four and they're on pallets here we'll get a little bit closer so the the breaker boxes are bolted to these wood pallets right here and I loaded these inside inside the factories I wasn't able to film film anything but so what they what they recommended was strapping the pallet to the trailer and then I asked him if I could go ahead and put a strap across the top because what happens if you don't have any straps coming over at the top to kind of hold the path of your tarp out it it just lays funny on the trailer so so I asked him if it was okay if I put some straps across the top he said yeah he said just don't crank them down really hard I said well I just needed enough to hold the tarp out so that's what we did so and this is my half section of my eight-foot tarp and I'm gonna have to get a bungee out to fix that hair you can see the pallets there and how I strapped them so I'll put a bungee and fix that one right there and then on the back side here he you can see how is he my poor tarps falling apart but you can see how it didn't quite cover it so I had to take one tarp and cover the last one right there I didn't realize that was getting torn that much I think it might be time to invest in a new tarp so this might be the last trip for this this big black tarp I got this tarp before free it's so I've had this tarp now for about uh almost seven years and I got it for free and it was a little rough when I got it and I didn't realize it was tearing that much up there so I might have to do something about that anyway it might be time to retire this big one and and get another one new tarp new tarp like this and that's just one half section cost about $300 so so anyway all right I'll take care of that let's see what else we got going on trucks looking good doesn't look like we're missing anything in front of the tarp looks pretty good than no major issues there so that's what's going on we've still got about four and a half hours left on our clock to drive today so we're gonna try to get on the other side of Memphis over the Earl Arkansas at the TA Trump stuff so all right let me let me go ahead and I'm gonna throw a little two inch strap over that back right there keep that from flopping around and to put a bungee on that tarp so all right I will talk to you guys in a bit all right real quick I'll show you what I did I'm not a hundred percent sure it's gonna hold but we'll try it so what's what's causing that tarp to tear up on the top up there is it's flapping in the wind it's already been repaired once so you know it was already weak and I probably should have done something a little different to keep it from flapping but anyway what I did is I ran some two-inch straps up and over the corners and back down kind of hold that top down I'm not a hundred percent sure that the these two inch straps are gonna stay up there but we'll see how they will see how they do I tried several different things different angle and it still was pulling to that to that one corner so we'll see how it does we'll see all right let me let me get some more coffee and see if we can make our way through Memphis for rush hour starts so talk to you a bit all right seeing today we made it over here to Earl Arkansas we're at the ta truck stop and I guess you need to be careful what you wish for because it is pouring down rain it's been raining they didn't start really raining rain until about Jackson Mississippi or Jackson Tennessee it just kind of been a misty raining all day but it's raining now here I only show you there let me turn this off so that's the cats gale sign and that's a few Lyle over there we're kind of parked in the corner but it's raining pretty good tomorrow hang on let me mount you guys back up hang on one second so tomorrow we're going to make it probably two Amarillo's what I'm hoping for and we're gonna stop and say you're Oklahoma get some fuel but it's like 60 degrees right now and it supposed to be 28 degrees in the morning so I don't know what's gonna happen all this water if it's gonna be a big ice-skating rink or what if the roads are really icy tomorrow for some reason we're not gonna drive if it's not worth it so I driving snow but I don't like the ice I don't like the ice at all so alright it's been a good day it's been a good day Chuck still good we're getting about six and a half miles a gallon of fuel that lights flickering again might need to get some new batteries by s enough talk to you later thanks for watching bye
