20 MUST-SEE Dollar Tree Organizing HACKS!

Dollar Tree hacks that seems to be what's trending here on YouTube lately guess what I'm jumping on the bandwagon and today I'm bringing to you neverbe seen Dollar Tree organizational hacks that you cannot live without these are going to help organize your life just a bit more and boy oh boy are they so satisfying so I'm going to quit my gabin let's jump into it and let me show you these lifechanging hacks that I think you're absolutely going to love you're not going to want to miss this we're going to start these hacks off here in the garage this is my new tool box it's not horrible but I feel like it could be better it kind of makes me a little bonkers because I do want to fine-tune it and really get it dialed in so to do that we've all seen these utensils holders that you can get at Dollar Tree they've got them in every color this black is going to match my garage since I've got some OCD it's all got to kind of be color coordinated and you can just see how amazing these work in a toolbox in your garage to really separate everything and organize it all I am loving this and we did that for the bargain price of $2.50 and I've got room to spare it doesn't get any better than that you can buy several of these and put them in each of the drawers if you need to this was just the one that really needed it for me moving on Dollar Trees got these new organizing bins by jot these are out for school these are for school supplies you're getting five for $125 I am I'm using them as they are intended to be used but I'm using them in my office cabinets would you look at how amazing this has made my office cabinet look these are are such a great item such a great buy for a125 getting those five bins you pick up a couple and look at that so satisfying I also use them in my bathrooms as well got some of the cute colored ones that I didn't mind being in the bathrooms and just kind of fine-tune these drawers as well next up this coffee caddy here in my kitchen I wouldn't say that this looks horrible but I feel like it could look better I feel like with all the great containers that dollar tree has that I can really fine-tune this and get it nice and dialed in so when I headed on over to the Dollar Tree I found these great new storage containers these are plastic they are BPA free there is a sticker on them that says so so with these I picked up eight of these for this caddy yeah eight because I knew that these containers would be perfect for all of my coffee grounds I do drink Starbucks I like different flavors so depending on the day is what I choose to drink these containers are perfect for the coffee grounds they will fit one of these coffee ground bags that is this size perfectly if it is full you saw I only had half a bag for this one and so I've got plenty of room to fill it up but because I have eight different flavors in this C that's why I picked up eight containers and each of these containers is going to have a different flavored coffee once I was in it putting my coffee grounds in I realized I didn't much like the white tops so I decided to go in with some of rum's metallic paint this is a spray paint and primer all-in-one in the color of flat brushed Amber I am so much happier with how they look now that they've got a good coating of that spray paint I feel like it just Blends in more with the caddy and my Decor there in the kitchen fear not yes I am labeling these I am labeling them using vinyl now you can just buy Dollar Tree vinyl and make your own labels using a permanent marker if you want since I've got my Cricut I went ahead and used my Cricut premium vinyl that I already had in my stash this is a removable matte vinyl and I will tell you that a matte finish is definitely the way to go don't use a gloss finish because the marker just doesn't tend to stick as well to it and because I do have a Cricut and my Cricut uses a pen and does the writing I don't much like my writing I am using one of the Cricut permanent markers to do the writing if you use a regular Cricut marker the ink will wipe off so you have to go the permanent marker wrap and this is not a sponsor oned video this is just me using my Cricut for these labels because I've got it so why not but like I said if you don't have a Cricut you can still use the vinyl you can cut Circle tags Square tags and you can just use a sharpy to label your I guess coffee or whatever it is that you want to label I do want to show you that you can run your finger over them and the marker doesn't smear or rub off what I love about using the vinyl labels versus stickers is that you can easily wipe them down and they're going to hold up a bit longer I love the way that this turned out yeah I ran out of spray paint and Walmart doesn't have any more of that spray paint for that white lid so that's just going to be left for a different day but I couldn't be happier with the way this caddy turned out I am so happy and I feel like my coffee is going to stay fresher now for longer and here we have a side by side of the before and after yes so inexpensive this was under $10 for me to do and it is so satisfying because it looks so much better next up how many of you have a refrigerator a stainless steel one that has the water dispenser and the water drips down making streaks on your stainless steel tell me that's not frustrating right Dollar Trees got these microfiber cloths one of my new favorite finds a few hauls ago that are the perfect solution to this dilemma and it is a dilemma just by taking one of these microfiber cloths Folding It neatly and placing it there where the dispenser is it is going to catch any drips any spills and prevent it from dripping down your refrigerator I don't mind it next up my spice cabinet as I I once thought that this was organized and I was happy with how this looked I have come to realize that again it is one of those things that could look better with just a little bit of fine tuning oh my word I am so excited to dive into this one because the outcome was amazing wait for it Dollar Trees got these great jars these are nothing new they come in a couple of different styles or different spout Styles I guess I should say so I picked up several of these and when I say several I'm not kidding I picked up several because I transferred the contents of each of the spice bottles into these what was once miscellaneous bottles is now a nice cohesive matching bottle set amazing right because I reorganize this cabinet I even had more room for my teas I'm a big tea drinker a no caffeine tea and so I found these containers here at Michaels that I thought were perfect for these tea bags they are right these are a food safe container that you can get at Michaels for 9 they are in those dollar bins that they've got right there by the registers when I saw these I knew that they would be perfect for these tea bags this is the brand tea bag or teas that I drink one box fits in one container one new box perfect right so using those labels and my vinyl I went ahead and labeled each of them so I know what tea is in each container Michaels even has these rounder ones here that I thought would be perfect truth be told I kind of bought them out of the square ones these work perfect for these spiced apple cider tea bags that come in the individual fun bags thought this was perfect I'm going to make it work and so so I did again I don't have any more spray paint otherwise I would have painted it I like a cold tea or a cold brew tea and so I went ahead and bought these BPA free containers also at Michaels that worked perfect for my tea bags and I couldn't be happier with how this looks now oh my word and I feel like my tea is going to stay fresher Dollar Tree also has these salt and pepper shakers these are great you're getting two for a dollar 25 so I used these smaller seasonings you get these smaller seasonings in any brand name by McCormick or whichever brand it is I typically buy Great Value brand because I'm not going to spend extra money for a brand named seasoning and would you look at how perfectly one jar fits one container you may need two if you buy a new bottle of seasoning but would you look at how nice that looks I am so happy I even did it with my extracts as well I did why not I wanted everything to look cohesive now some may say Kelly how did you close up the lid again I just used my vinyl label and on the inside I used a blank label and really sealed off the cap really enclosing my extracts giving me again let's say it a good uniform cohesive look my spice cabinet here at the top I did find that I had some of those bigger containers that I do buy at Costco we all know which ones these are Montreal seasoning great on try tip right these by Grill Masters are a bit too big to use those smaller containers so I did buy the same containers that I used for my coffee labeled them and it fit one full bottle I guess and I did put one in one of these as well just so I had it it was easier hi baa hi big boy you're so cute look at him I just love my doodles they're keeping me company there again here we go I covered it with a label I'm just going to open these up and use measuring spoons when I need to dispense it I've never really been one who sprinkled my seasonings anyway so covering up the holes isn't an issue to me because I prefer just to use a measuring spoon anyway now if you don't want to do that an alternative this is alli's butter popcorn seasoning you can put Saran Wrap inside then go ahead and take the lid and close it as well and of course if you're going to do that just go ahead and cut off the excess Saran Wrap just to make it look a bit neater and when you do need to use it you're going to have to unscrew it take the Saran Wrap off to sprinkle it that's way too much work oh no no but look it gets the job done and your seasoning is going to stay fresh shall we take a look at before and after side by side look at how amazing that looks the fine tuning was just what this cabinet needed I couldn't be happier with the outcome of this those jars work perfectly for this next tack is using these Dollar Tree door mats these are nothing new we've all seen them they've got some plain ones they've got them in black and a dark gray black is the way to go why would you use a blank plain door mats such as this one here when you can very easily with a little bit of diying make a decorative one you can make more than one you can make several you can make one for each season if you wanted to using some stencils in chalk paint the chalk paint I'm using today is this chalk paint here by Waverly chalk paint is definitely the way to go because just a basic apple Barrel acrylic paint is not going to get the job done unless you you have days to do this because it's going to take several days to put several coats on it to get the coverage that you need when if you use a chalk paint you're going to get the job done in about one to two coats using a stiffer paint brush or a stencil brush which I don't seem to have on hand so I'm using a stiffer paint brush it's going to get the job done by dabbing the paint on the stencil you don't want to brush it on because you will get bleeded so just by simply dabbing on the paint you are going to get the coverage you need so when you take these stencils off wait for it would you look at how satisfying that is you peel it off and the bleed is very minimal now if you do buy a black door mat you can very easily take a black chalk paint and clean up any edges that you may have had some bleeded on last tack is using one of Dollar Tree's plungers yep it's a Twilight plunger and I've got a hack for you that you are going to love this is an oldie but a goodie who says that plungers are only good for plunging a toilet taking some of Dollar Tree's decorative nautical rope you're going to need about two of these for this DIY hack I'm going to wrap this plunger with rope covering up the fact that it's a plunger only we're going to know it's a plunger because of the shape right once we've got that plunger good and wrapped with the decorative nautical rope I'm going to take some of Dollar Tree's floral pieces these are some of my favorite spring pieces and I'm going to add a floral bunch here to the bottom kind of shushing up our plunger cuz why not we're so not done yet you're going to take some of those scraps or you're going to grab another bunch of that decorative nautical rope and we're going to make what's going to be a stopper here right above the floral bench so you should be left with something that looks just like this yes a stop Chopper right there looks nice right what are we going to use this for yes this is going to be a toilet paper holder how sticky cute is that what a fun hack is this it's going to stand up nicely you can hold two to three no you can hold three rolls of toilet paper on one plunger guess what else you can use this for if you really want to get creative and have a fun piece in your bathroom you can use it for none other than paper towel right some might say why would I want paper towel on a plunger but this is a plunger stand it's a paper towel holder or a toilet paper holder so why not when you put it in your bathroom look at that you've got a nice fun Farmhouse piece that people are really going to get a kick out of when they see it they're going to love this idea they're going to think it's genius and they're going to do it too how often do you find that your laundry soap or your fabric softener bottle is too big and it doesn't fit in the cabinet in which you like to keep your laundry soap and your fabric softener in there is no Universal size for this stuff these drink dispensers are perfect for this I'm not somebody who's going to leave my laundry soap or fabric softener on a countertop or on a sink because I just don't like it being out I like it put away this bottle of laundry detergent it's a whoppin 64 Oz if you're worried about dispensing the proper amount of laundry soap or fabric softener keep the cap easy solution there and just place it right on top of your dispenser I've been doing this for a while especially when it comes to my liquid fabric softener you can see that this dispenser has been used for a while this bottle I store it in the garage because it had that extra fabric softener that wasn't going to fit in the dispenser so whenever I need to top off my dispensers I top them off I store my bottles in the garage on a designated shelf that I use for laundry soap dish soap paper towel toilet paper all those extras that I don't want to store in the house I'm not one who keeps the Caps because I can easily just hold the dispenser and dispense it into its designated container here in my washer and I find that it's really easy to do I kind of bounce between liquid laundry soap and pods just depending on what's on sale and so yeah I don't really have a method to my madness I just kind of get what I feel like and right now I'm at of pod so I'm using some [Music] liquid I also like to use these dispensers for Bleach I like having easy access to bleach because I bleach Kayla's Work Clothes often Kayla works it In-N-Out and for those of you who don't know in-n-out's uniforms are completely white which means that Kayla's whites as we call them often need to be bleached because they have to stay clean and so yeah having easy access to a bleach is a must for me and this dispenser works perfectly for that I like to label my dispensers because I am using them for something other than drinks and so just to be clear I do do that I'm using just a vinyl and I used my Cricut so again you can see that these bottles don't fit right let me just show you this again but when we add these drink dispensers with our laundry soap and and our fabric softener look at how nice that is and our bleach I have room to even lower that shelf if I wanted to and it is easy access and I am a happy me I'm not a huge fan of leaving my soap bottle on the sink it gets grimy it gets grungy and I just kind of wanted to do away with this a bit of a side note here have you seen that Dollar Tree is now carrying this Ajax Ultra with charcoal and citrus both are really great for cleaning they've even got a bigger size now so you're getting more for your money more for that $125 instead of less I will tell you that putting my dish soap in this dispenser has made life a lot easier now I don't mind the look of the dispenser I'm not a huge fan of the color but I tell you Dollar Tree has decided that they're not going to carry any clear dispensers with the white top in my area which is so frustrating but that's okay when you put the soap in there if it's a bit too thick for you add just a touch of water to thin it out the thick soap does go through the dispenser I wanted to show you that but if you want it just to be a bit thinner go ahead and put water in there put your finger over the top the hole there at the top give it a good shake to incorporate that water with the dish soap and when you go to dispense it on your sponge look at how easily that goes perfect problem solved I am big when it comes to Crystal Light store brand crystalite because it's cheaper because it is sugarfree I'm not one who buys a lot of capric sun or juices because of the sugar content I'm not completely opposed to Sugar but when there's juices like Crystal Light out there that are budget friendly and sugarfree and they taste amazing I like to use those versus the alternative you can see here that these dispensers hold one full picture of juice or of Crystal Light and as these are being used for their intended use yes crystalite has the best decaf lemon iced tea can I just tell you I love this stuff then I don't feel guilty because there's no caffeine in it but like I was saying although I am using these for their intended use I want to show you why I use these versus using those pictures in my refrigerator I just have this one smaller section here for the taller bottles and juices and as my shelves are adjustable I don't have a lot of allotted space in my refrigerator for containers bottles condiments and so I've spaced it out the best that I can in doing that I have found that if I just simply switched up the containers in which my juices were in like these dispensers they fit on some of the smaller shelves and in turn the kids or myself don't need to take the picture out to dispense the drink because we can dispense it from the refrigerator problem solved I love this we each have our own drink dispenser Kayla even has one and each of us can put whatever drink or juice it is that we want in our dispenser and honestly it saves me a ton of money because I am cutting down on the amount of items that I'm buying at the store for each of us you pick your juice you put it in your dispenser I am I'm in my bathroom there are several great uses for these in a bathroom particularly in a guest bathroom I'm in my guest bathroom but I will tell you I use one of these in my bathroom and one in the kids bathroom for our mouthwash mouthwash to me it is gross to either drink it out of the bottle itself or to use the lid as a cup I've never been a fan of that fun fact about Kelly I am a bit germophobic I really am and I am not ashamed to admit that transferring germs really just sends my OCD into overdrive and so using something as simple as a drink dispenser to pour the mouthwash into oh my word then using just these paper Dixie cups that you can get at Dollar Tree you get 200 of them for a125 you can easily dispense your mouthwash and look at there you can throw away your cup yes it is adding to the landfill but it is helping my OCD and not transferring germs I like to put my mouthwash right under the sink when the kidss want to use it they just pull it Forward they grab themselves a cup and they can easily dispense the Listerine and would you look at how easy that is how germ free it is how clean it is and I just love the idea of a mouth wash dispenser in my guest bathroom I also use these dispensers for mhm shampoo I like to have all the toiletry items that are needed for my guest available for them in the bathroom when I have a guest come I like to tell them don't worry about your shampoo because I've got some ready for you again with this dispenser if you find that the shampoo is a bit too thick just add a bit of water to it thin it out just a touch I'm not saying make it watery I'm saying just thin it out just a bit and it will easily dispense through our dispenser not a drink dispenser or shampoo dispenser if I'm going to have shampoo I've got to have some conditioner as well right and the same rule applies to that again conditioner can be on the thicker side so don't be afraid to add just a bit of water to that conditioner I assure you that a lot of my guests who come and stay when I tell them that I have all the toiletry items that they need just to bring their Necessities they appreciate the fact that they don't have to tote the shampoo conditioner and and body wash liquid body wash again I do not use bar soap because I think it is gross to share bar soap with somebody and so I find that body wash does just what it needs to do and you're not sharing it you are but you aren't I find that putting these in my guest's bathroom in the shower works great in the summertime so when the kids have been swimming if they have friends that are sleeping over they don't have to worry about bringing shampoo conditioner body wash they can just go into the guest bathroom they can shower rinse off all that chlorine out of their hair and whatnot and it works perfectly some may ask Kelly these dispensers are a bit on the bigger side where do you put them in your bathtub or your shower oh let me show you am I guest shower I have a tension rod this is a tension rod that has three shelves on it that you can get at Walmart by Main Stays it comes in oil rubbed bronze or brushed silver I like to leave the bottom shelf open and available for my guest and whatever toiletry items that they have that they want to keep in the shower but for the most part I find that a lot of people really appreciate having the shampoo conditioner and body wash easily accessible so they don't have to bring it themselves I hope you all enjoy some of the organizational hacks that I brought to you I tell you that spice cabinet is so satisfying there at times I'm not even kidding you when I walk by and I just open it up because I love how clean it looks until next time everybody I hope you have a fantastic day happy
