hey guys what's going on spitbrix here back for another lego video and today we'll be looking at 20 incredible lego world records some of these world records include topics such as life-size lego creations insane speed building lego robotics and astonishing feats of genius engineering technology in lego machines if you enjoyed today's video please take two seconds to leave a like rating down below and be sure to comment your favorite lego world record after the video we'll start with number 20 and work our way up to number one so let's get started starting off this video is the world record for the largest ferris wheel built out of lego bricks that's also functional this amazing creation here was created by a builder over in the czech republic by the name of tomas he used over 40 000 individual lego pieces to create this masterpiece this ferris wheel is powered by two lego power functions motors and here you guys can see it on display at lego world in denmark it's been shown in countries all across europe and stands at a whopping 11 feet 11 inches tall or approximately 3.64 meters and it has 43 individual carriages on the ferris wheel itself as it spins around up next is the world record for the largest display of lego star wars minifigures or in other words the largest army of lego star wars stormtroopers in fact there are 36 440 individual stormtrooper minifigures here on display in which they span 20 feet by 20 feet in this arrangement which is about 6 meters by 6 meters they're arranged in the shape of a stormtrooper helmet and this was for the celebration of the 20th anniversary of lego star wars sets moving on here is the longest bridge completely made out of lego bricks it contains over 200 000 pieces and was initially shown at a mall in scotland it weighs almost a full ton in fact three fourths of a ton to be exact and took three months to build by the institution of civil engineers in fact it's over 34 meters long which places it as the world record holder for the longest lego bridge and overall is just a very incredible masterpiece of a lego build here is the world's largest wooden roller coaster replica built completely out of lego bricks in fact over 90 000 of them this took 800 hours to complete and was built by the same individual who we saw build the ferris wheel back at number 20. this roller coaster was actually modeled after a real in life roller coaster from six flags named el toro here's an image of that and as you guys can see they are almost identical in total the track spans 26 meters long which is approximately 85 feet the roller coaster works like the real thing and even has a chain to pull it up the steep slopes and then release on the other side and the roller coaster actually works which is really awesome there have been multiple flags in the past built out of lego bricks however none of them are as large as this canadian flag this was built with over 248 000 lego bricks and was built to celebrate canada day it was displayed at the legoland discovery center in toronto canada and measures a 6.4 meters long and 3.47 meters high up next we have four individuals who share the title for the fastest time to build the lego star wars millennium falcon aka the largest individual lego set ever released as the time of this video there have been many teams that have competed in this challenge however a team of four from germany who are big fans of lego star wars by the names of johannes kathy ralph and gabriel in 2019 set the world record finishing this set in two hours 51 minutes and 47 seconds keep in mind that this lego set has over 7 500 pieces and so that means that they were approximately adding one piece to the build every 1.37 seconds that is some absolutely insane speed building and actually something kind of cool is they ended up auctioning off the completed set for charity and included the guinness book of world records certificate along with it to the highest bidder then that money went towards charity it sold for around 1500 euros up next is an extremely competitive lego world record in which this one is for the tallest lego tower we see so many people compete for this record that around every four to five years there's a new record holder currently the tallest lego tower was assembled in tel aviv israel at the end of 2017 and it was helped up by the residents in the construction of the tower itself and it is the tallest lego structure ever to be built at 118 feet that's approximately 36 meters tall and it took over a year to design and build as well as over 500 000 lego bricks which were donated by the people in the city they all kind of worked as a collaborative effort and what's really cool about this world record in which i really like talking about it is because it was built to honor an eight-year-old who was a cancer victim and an avid lego fan named omer and so that is kind of the inspiration that went behind the city deciding that they wanted to try and break this world record in recognition of his name which i think is very wholesome and a very awesome achievement the largest compound lego set is the legends of chima the ultimate battle for chima it contained 25 sets in one big box which included 92 minifigures and over 10 000 pieces it was only available through an official lego competition back in july of 2015 called the chima big box contest where there were only two grand prize winners so not only is this the largest set or largest compound set the lego has ever released but it's also one of the rarest here is the world's largest lego structure constructed from the most lego bricks 5.8 million lego bricks yes 5.8 million it stands at 42.5 feet tall and it took five months for a team of uk master builders to construct it it was funded by land rover it was kind of more like a sponsorship sort of thing which is kind of where they got all the funding to buy 5.8 million lego bricks and put those all together there was also some sort of extravagant like reveal at this time for a new line of land rover cars and so that kind of played into that budget that they were playing with here and hence they were able to create such an absolutely insane build of london's tower bridge constructed from the most lego bricks ever for a single lego build so i mean it's just insane you look at this you can see all the individual lego pieces yeah there's 5.8 million of them now let's check out the world's largest collection of unique lego minifigures so duplicates do not count now this collection here is by a lego fan by the name of fabio bertini he has 3 310 lego minifigures all completely unique some that date all the way back to the 1970s all the way through some of the more recent sets in the modern day as well throughout the years of lego we've received a plethora of different millennium falcon sets however these two master builders decided to take it to a whole new level this is the world record for the largest lego star wars millennium falcon this shuttle here was originally shown in legoland malaysia but it's also made visits to australia back in 2015. it consists of over 200 000 lego bricks and measures around 16 feet long by 12 feet wide and over 1 100 pounds now it's definitely not human scale yet but it's the closest that anyone has gotten and they've decided to use lego bricks to kind of create larger lego bricks by creating blocks and so it kind of gave the final product an incredibly sort of like blocky or pixelated look so some people like this some people may think you know they could have maybe polished it out a little bit better but nonetheless it still takes the world record for the largest lego star wars millennium falcon did any of you guys watch mythbusters back in the day well the next one up here is a world record actually set by those behind the production team of mythbusters we have the largest lego ball this was a motley of colorful little bricks and it took two weeks for them to build in their shop as well as 10 seconds to break apart as attempting to roll it down a hill this was part of an experiment to try and test a theory of a video that was good went viral back in the day but nonetheless really cool to see them create this in real life of all those lego bricks stacked on top of each other here's another world record that took over a million bricks this is the world's largest cruise ship made completely out of lego bricks it took two months for the team to create it the team was led by a lego certified professional as well as 1 000 volunteers that helped build this model it's 27.7 feet long 4 feet wide and 5 feet high and it contains over 1 000 lego minifigures riding on the boat as passengers in total there were 2 million 518 266 lego bricks that went into this model have you ever tried to stack pennies on a minifigure head well there's a world record for it in fact i originally found an individual by the name of john chevy with 54 pennies stacked on a minifigure head but then i discovered that there was actually a lego fan by the name of jessica reader who beat him out by one penny 55 american pennies pretty interesting actually up next is the world record for the largest lego car made out of the most lego bricks this is set by a lego builder by the name of ryan quote the brick man mcnaught he built the 2018 toyota camry with over 500 000 lego bricks it weighs over 4 000 pounds and by this single lego builder here it took him eight weeks to build if you follow my channel closely you guys may notice that this is the same entry that was also in my life-size lego cars video where i featured a ton of lego cars made out of lego bricks if you guys are interested in that one it'll be linked on screen as well as in the description you guys can watch it after this video but with that let's check out some more lego world records here is the world record for the largest life-size jedi created with lego bricks so we're looking back at lego star wars once again now this one is lego star wars it's actually a luke skywalker build here complete with his robotic hand and we saw this for san diego comic con 2017 to represent lego star wars and promote the last jedi it stands at over six feet tall and actually took 277 hours of designing and assembling 36 743 bricks in total here's the entry that holds the world record for the largest lego brick skeleton at over 20 feet long you guys can see it's a dinosaur skeleton this was created in 2011 and contains 80 020 lego pieces also as a bonus check out these bricosars that were created at the marwell zoo in the uk all these massive dinosaur builds with thousands of lego pieces as well as the dyno exhibit in the lego house in denmark this one here is actually the lego technic dyno created with a whopping 298 431 lego pieces which is an extremely astonishing feat have you ever seen a lego house that you could actually live in well james may here created the largest full-size lego house ever created he holds the world record he's also one of the most ambitious lego designers out there for the building this lego house it was created with over 3.3 million lego bricks and built by over 1 000 volunteers including james may himself it features a toilet shower bed and even a house cat as a pet named fusker it's 20 feet tall it's basically a two-story house you can go up to the second floor and if you're a die-hard lego fan you may want to look away right now because this is kind of painful because the house was actually demolished because it was too expensive to move to a different location and so it was awesome while it lasted we got awesome pictures of it and will forever go down as one of the greatest lego creations ever alright we're moving into the top two here so be sure to stick around for number one this one here though is the largest lego airplane ever created in 2018 this airbus a380 was held the world record as the largest lego plane however in 2019 a new aircraft has claimed the crown this is an incredible 1 to 7 scale replica of the u.s presidential air force one created by a team of lego master builders and over 1 million lego bricks it spans 36 feet long and even has a lego pilot visible through the front window of the plane here is the final lego world record this is the first lego robot ever to solve a nine by nine by nine rubik's cube completely by itself it uses a smartphone for intelligent recognition and it's called the multicuber999 now this carefully crafted lego machine of engineering technology has successfully solved this cube in 34 minutes 35 seconds which is super slow if you think about it however if you want to see the lego mindstorms robot which can complete a rubik's cube in a mere 3.25 seconds check out the video on screen right now as i look at 15 lego creations that will blow your mind so go check it out the link is also in the description down below
