I'm out on this one fam
My mom talks about this all the time. She's not a huge baseball fan, but she loves the Mets. Thought it would be fun to share.
With Vin Scully calling this game, plus the result, I knew I had to post it.
YES YES YES
I was a kid and this is the game that made a fan out of me. Before that I loved to play but never watched it much.
It's sad that Buckner is remembered for this rather than his pretty solid career. But that's the cruel nature of our beautiful sport.
The guy parachuting onto the field at 7:24 is still awesome. The 80s, man
My dad was 8 when this game happened and I don't think I've ever asked if he remembers it and I'm not sure if I do
Should someone just stream it. I can use tamia.tv and people can watch it and chat.
