Herschel Walker Herschel you are always a person who produces some great quotes I'd like just to go over a few of the recent ones I've read which are unusual and asked for your explanation some of these come right out of the morning paper quote might not accept the Heisman Trophy if I win it this year did you say that no I didn't say that I said it I don't think the highs are gonna mean anything to me a lot of people write what I don't say they put it in their own words and I think a lot of things I've been saying have been done like that and what I'm saying here's our if I win house and dish is gonna be like they're giving it to them because I feel sorry for me and I don't want anyone to give me anything I think I should own then I get a mess we're gonna help me to be a better player just from a philosophical standpoint do you think there's any validity to the idea that writers and broadcasters can sit down and pick one man as the very best college football player or is it a charade well I think it's charade because I think most people vote for people in their area you know I think the thing is is you can't sit down and say he's the best athlete around because there are some good linemen who never get their name in the lights or anything it's hard to just pick one out fleet out of it that leaves out a thousand us out please quote number two I don't know if I'll play pro football when that time comes yes that's nice I could do a lot of things I saw played pro football of the South I think I'm a person that can do many things and be successful at it and when I came to football it wasn't my sport it was something I like to do but it wasn't something else and he's happy right now I'm getting where I like to play but then it's not my game I love running in a lot of basketball and I think I can go into the business world and be just successful this past spring a great deal was written and said about the possibility that you might challenge the NFL Draft and attempt to become eligible to play in the NFL but you decided to stay here does that mean that you're now committed to playing two more years of football here at Georgia oh I never commit myself to anything you know thing that I did last year a lot of people written it up wrong and they wrote it up wrong sorry but I the thing was was that I said it I think new route was unconstitutional and I said it I was gonna challenge the route but I never said I was gonna play in a fair ball and a lot of people said horses challenge the route of playing a fair ball in this that wasn't true I wanted really change because I wanted my option I wanted to do what I felt was right and I want to do it at least I want to have the opportunity to have to say so in my life because I think everyone oh that Dooley was right there and he gets credit for a 2 yard punt return and a touchdown now it looked like here in the closing moments of the first half Clemson might get in field goal range but Homer Jordan tries to force one and is picked off and it's Georgia that winds up with a field goal he was under pressure about number 87 Jimmy pain but the freshman from North Carolina number 8 Tony black makes an outstanding play makes enough of a return to give Georgia good field position and with two pass completions by John that's finger they set up a 39 yard field goal by Kevin bubble to go out at halftime alright now we saw Herschel Walker briefly we saw him used as a decoy first off let me ask you can they versatile play in the second half I think that this will keep him on the bench I would until he is needed desperately they've gotten the lead with the quarterback last thing I'm not doing very well to Keith and they are back in the ball game and I think that they'll be conservative here let clips and continue to make mistakes and maybe win the ballgame on Flint's was help when Clemson's got to open up a little more pain today very much I definitely believe clemson has gotten to open
