Hey Church. Welcome to our Heart for the House Sunday. And happy Father's Day to everybody watching in Belgium. Today is our once in a year miracle offering. So it's a significant day for us as a church. And I believe God will speak to you personally as well. So I hope you're ready to get encouraged and get inspired. Yeah. And like every Sunday we have a chat on the side of the video. So come say hi, tell us where you're watching from, and we would love to get to know you. Before we go into worship and prepare our hearts to receive the word from We're going to hear from Pastor Richard. Hey Church, I'm so glad that you've joined us again this Sunday. 2020 - this has been a pretty crazy year, full of uncertainties, full of challenges, Full of things we didn't expect. But, God, he's our sure foundation. And I'm so glad that we get to gather every Sunday. We get to shift our attention, our focus to God, that He loves us, He is for us. And I'm believing that today He's going to speak into your life, speak into your situation. To bring solution, to bring hope, to bring breakthroughs. I'm believing for the miraculous today. And I hope you do as well. Come on, let's pray together and commit this time to God. Lord, we thank you for who you are. Lord, we thank you for what you've done for us. Lord I pray, Lord, that we would step into the life that you've prepared for us. And Lord you'd bring solution. You'd bring breakthrough in people's lives. Lord the miraculous. So Lord, we are expecting today for you to speak, for you to move. And Lord, we commit this time to you in Jesus' name, amen. Fantastic. You know, this is Heart for the House Sunday. And for us in the life of the church, this is a very significant Sunday. A Sunday where we together we... We receive an offering to see the Kingdom of God advance. We see things happen that we couldn't otherwise see happen. Extending into different cities, into different nations even. But things that we can't ordinarily do, the Heart for the House Sunday enabled us to move forward. And we're about to take communion. I want to take communion at the end of the message, a little bit like what I did last week. Last week we spoke about the bread representing the body of Christ. That we who are many are one body. And I want to look at that again this week, but with a different emphasis. Looking at a different challenges and different benefits. But I want to start really with you. And if you'll allow me to ask you this question: Do you have a dream in your heart? Might sound like a strange question. But I wonder if you have a dream, a desire, that no matter what the circumstances or situations of your life. You just can't shake it. Something that you're passionate about, something that won't go away. Probably you've had it for years. See, I believe you do. I believe that God places desires in people's hearts, places dreams in your hearts. And I believe that he does that because you have a part to play in his plan. And he motivates us. He inspires us. The things that flick our switch, things we're passionate about. I believe that that is what God does. I think the problem, though, is that many of us don't step into that. Step into all the God created us for, we don't step into the dream. Because we won't allow God access into those deep parts of our heart. We won't trust him fully. We trust him, trust his ways. We struggle to give up that control. But if I can let you know. You know, in my life if I think about what I'm doing now. This is really, in a way, living the dream. My desire has been to help people. To see people step into an incredible life. I've always had that, even before I became a Christian. I was in construction and my dream was to... I had this dream, just to do a property development, to develop a suburb in Australia and put a community center in the middle. Where I could teach people, personal development skills, how to live happy and healthy lives. It's something God placed in me, created me with this. And as I became a Christian, I started to realize that actually this is what God has in store for us. This is what God wants for us. I have a part to play in his plan. And now, as a pastor, I'm doing... It doesn't look like what I thought it was going to look before. But it's so much more. So much more. And what God has for us, it will always be more than what you're dreaming of. I started working for the church in 2003 and I thought I was on this this path to where I am, really where I am now. And the problem is I started failing and I started seeing myself as a failure. And I started on this downward journey and I hit rock bottom. Like burnout. And I lost all hope in my future, I lost hope in the dream. I didn't lose the dream. I just lost hope in the dream. But, you know, there's two things that two things that I needed to understand. To get me from that place of rock bottom to where I am today. The first is, God's grace. The gospel of Jesus. What God has for us and what he's done for us, what he continues to do for us. But the second thing is God's plan. That God has a plan. God's ways and I have a part in that plan. So do you. And by understanding those two things, it's helped me get out of that place, a rock bottom, out of that burnout and into this place of... I'm enjoying life. I'm loving life, I'm loving what I do. It doesn't mean that every day is fantastic, but I'm believing to see you step into all that God's got for you as well. So I want to talk about these two things. The first one is the gospel. It's the grace of God. What Jesus has done for us. The fact that Jesus is for us. You know, I believe that God has created us perfectly. I believe that God knew what he was doing when he created you, when he created us. I believe we didn't know what we were doing when we turned from him. We turned from him. We turned from his ways. Not knowing what we were doing. But God loves us so much that Jesus came and he died for the forgiveness of our sins. Anything that would separate us from God. He's restored us to relationship with him. It's what the Bible says. Jesus died to do that. To restore this relationship and that we would live life to the full. In fact, John chapter 10 verse 10 says that. It says the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. But Jesus said, I've come that you might have life and life to the full. I believe that when we understand what Jesus has given us, when we understand that every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms, that he's lavished it upon us. That when we understand that we celebrate him. There's this sense of of joy, the sense of celebration. Ephesians chapter one talks about that. As we celebrate Jesus, as we rejoice in the Lord, as we delight in him. The Bible tells us that that's when he gives us the desires of our heart. When we delight in the Lord, he gives us the desires of our heart. I love the way The Passion translation puts it. It says, make God the utmost delight. Can you imagine what it would be like if God was the utmost delight and pleasure of your life. It says that when you do, he provides for you what you desire the most. I think so many believe, as so many Christians have been duped. So many Christians won't allow God the access. And don't live life to the full, don't experience that the desires of their heart becoming a reality. Don't find themselves celebrating who God is. And it... As a pastor, it bugs me. It frustrates me. Hurts, pains me. To see people not step into all that Jesus died to give us. I want to tell you that God is for you. His attention towards you is incredible. You maybe can put on the screen these scriptures, but there's too many for me to read them all out. But the Bible tells us that. Jesus came that we would have life and life to the full. He blesses us with every spiritual blessing in Christ. His plans are for us to be prosperous and successful. That we would have good health. That all would go well with us as our soul is going well. That he delights in our well-being. He gives us the desires of our heart. His plans are to prosper us not to harm us. He gives us a hope and a future. He works all things together for good. That he's blessed us. That our lives yield fruit and prosperity. He forgives our sins. He heals our diseases. He redeems us from the pit. He crowns us with love and mercy. He wraps us in goodness. He renews our youth. God's intention towards us is that regardless of the circumstance, that we would know if we have an unshakable foundation. Regardless of the circumstance, we have an inner prosperity. A joy, a hope, a power that causes us to prosper in whatever circumstances we find ourselves in. That is God's desire for you. And that's what he has for you. And the second thing is to understand his way, to understand his plan. Us together, united in Christ as the church. I believe that we're better together, and that's how God has designed it. That we're all on a journey of maturity and I mentioned this a few weeks ago, but without knowing God, we need to look after ourselves. So it's me for me. And as we discover the goodness of God, we recognize: God is for me. And the more we understand that God is for us. And the more we learn about him and trust him, that we recognize that God has a plan and we have a part to play. So it's no longer: God, would you bless my plan? But God, what's your plan? Now it's me for God. I want to live and align my life with God's plan. And as we do that, we get excited, we want to do more when we start serving. And there's this sense of passion, we're doing it together and seeing amazing things happen. And as we do that, we start to realize, we get to the end of ourselves. And as we mature even more, as we surrender ourselves, when it's not about our strength, but about God strength. It's no longer just that me for God, but it's God through me. God's power at work in and through my life. And really, as we continue to mature, I reckon it's not even about God through me. It's actually about what God's doing through us. And that's where we can see, I believe, our cities and our nation change. Jesus he is the solution. He's the one that changes hearts. You know, the world is in an interesting place, there's so much that's not right with the world that we live in. There's so much injustice. God saw that. He didn't just see it this year in 2020, he saw it way in advance. He's outside of time. He sent Jesus. To solve the issue of the human heart. So Jesus does that. God has already brought solution to the problem. As we understand the message of God's grace, as we understand the message of the gospel. Our hearts get transformed. And I believe that that we together as a church, as I said, we're his plan. We are the vehicle to bring that solution to the world. I think it's funny. I don't know how God does it, but I kind of think about a master Rubik's Cube person. If I do a Rubik's Cube, you know, I can get one side to be right, but it messes up all the rest. So I can focus on getting one side right. And all the rest. Mess up. But people who know how to do the Rubik's Cube, they'll get... While I get this side right, they get the other sides right as well. And that's... I kind of think of how God works a little bit like that. My life might be one side of the cube. Your life might be another. The injustices of the world might be another again. And somehow... God, he works on my character and my maturity. He sees the dreams of my heart fulfilled as we together work and support one another as the church, serving in the body of Christ. And then together as the church, we see transformation happen in society as we represent God. And somehow God makes it all work together. I don't know how he does it, but that's what he does. The church is his plan, and I believe that together as the church. That we can have an incredible impact on our cities and our nation. It's how God works. Listen to this in Ephesians chapter one, verses is 22 and 23 in The Message paraphrase. It says, at the center of all this, Christ rules the church. The churches see it's not peripheral to the world. The world is peripheral to the church. The church is Christ's body in which he speaks and acts and by which he fills everything with his presence. The presence of love, the presence of grace, the presence of holiness. The presence of justice. His power. His goodness. It's through the church that he speaks and acts and by which he fills everything with his presence. I love that we're building a church and hundreds of people recognize this and those hundreds are turning into thousands. And I believe that as we... As those thousands keep growing. As we get a revelation of what God is doing. Of his plan, his purpose. That we are going to have such an incredible positive impact on the world around us. You just need to read through Ephesians chapters one and two and three. And you see it's talking about this unity God brings, he unites us in Christ. He went where people are separated. He brings us together to be united and have a plan that has is the church. And let me just read one passage from Ephesians chapter three from verse eight. This is the apostle Paul speaking. And he says he says, Though I am the least deserving of all God's people, God graciously gave me the privilege of telling Gentiles about the endless treasures that are available to them in Christ. Do you realize that there are endless treasures available to you in Christ? I hope you do. Paul says he was chosen to explain to everyone this mysterious plan of God. This mysterious plan that God, the creator of all things, had kept secret from the beginning. God's purpose in all this was to use the church, us together. United. To display his wisdom and its rich variety to all the unseen rules and authorities. Even in heavenly places. This is his eternal plan, which he carried out through Jesus Christ. Our Lord. You know, I understand that there are certain cultural norms that oppose God's plan. We spoke about racism last week. That's a cultural norm, it's become... Somehow it's become a cultural norm that we're fighting against. But it brings division, not unity. I'll tell you another cultural norm that we've grown up with. That opposes God's plan, and that is our... The way we value so highly independence. You know, we raise children and we the goal is that they be independent. W ell, that's not God's goal. God's goal is that we will be interdependent. We go past independence that would be interdependent, that we're together as a church. Unite. As his plan. To bring hope into this world. We need to realize that we do have an enemy. You know, and just like in sport. In sport, a champion team will always beat a team of champions. We've seen it over and over again. A champion team will always beat a team of champions. You know Jesus does want us to be champions individually. But not independently. He wants us to be united as champions, to be his body. You can do great things on your own. But God's plan is that we do it together because we have an enemy to defeat. And I believe that that is what we are seeing in the world around us and the life that we're living and in the church that we are building. And your God dream, it'll find its complete fulfillment in God's plan. You know, we've already seen so many lives changed. In fact, that's part of our mission statement as a church. It's to reach and influence the world by building a large, Christ centered, Bible based church. Changing mindsets and empowering people to lead and impact in every sphere of life. You know, when it comes to Heart for the House offering, we see the church advance, the kingdom of God advance. And some of our Heart for the House offerings of previous years have enabled us to start in Rotterdam and start in Brussels, as well as a whole bunch of other things. And I'd love for us to hear a couple of stories of lives that have been transformed. So we're going to hear from Kristina in Rotterdam. We're going to hear from Lisa in Brussels. And I want you to realize that these stories, they're just two of hundreds, that are turning into thousands of lives changed. Because we are uniting together as the church is God's plan and seeing what he's doing. So I hope you're ready for this. Kristina, are you there? Good to see you. Thanks for joining us. Hey, so how long have you been in a church in our Rotterdam location? I think for two years now. That's awesome. And how would you say, if you were to describe to people. How your life has changed over those last two years: can you give us a bit of an explanation on that? Yes, of course. I never knew the big impact that church could have in my life. Until I decided to plant myself in the house and just be a part of Christ's body. I remember in the beginning, I was kind of quiet, shy. And when I joined the Connect Group, I was not the one talking in the group. And we went into smaller groups to pray, I was kind of afraid to pray out loud. But that changed, in a good way. Because I met so many amazing people in the life of the church who just pointed me to Jesus. And just made me see more of my God-potential. (So good) It just inspired me and encouraged me. And I'm thankful for that. And I think that's the power of being the body of Christ together, united. And just being there for each other and doing life with each other. And so, yeah, church changed my life in a good way. And it also made me step out of my comfort (zone). And the nice thing about this is that I can bring this into my world outside of church, as in my workplace. When something came which was kind of scary, I would say, No thank you. I'm just more secure in that, it's because of what I have learned and experienced in church. For me the greatest compliment is that my friends and my family members, who've known me for a longer period. They say: We see that you're had such growth in your life, you're so much more secure in your faith, And more mature in your life in your faith. And that inspires them. (I love that) So yeah, church is life-changing. Oh, fantastic. So you say the people in your world are seeing the difference in your life. Since you've been coming to church. I'm hearing you say that you you were more insecure before. Now you're secure. You were less confident, now you're more confident. And I just recognize that it's like you're becoming more alive, being more yourself. The genuine - who you've been created to be - is coming out. And now, even in the life of the church, you're making a difference as a service pastor now! Yeah, that is awesome. Right. I think we're seeing that is how obedience works, how the body of Christ works. And how having faith, and seeing the bigger picture, seeing more.. it works. I'm just blessed to be a part of this church, of this community. Wow. That is awesome. Thanks so much for joining us, Kristina. I'm really believing that that's going to encourage a lot of people. And, you know, we got to start Rotterdam because of a Heart for the House offering a few years ago. And enabled us to take that step forward. And Kristina is just one of hundreds of lives that have been changed, people whose lives have been changed. And just recently, we've been able to start in Brussels, And we have Lisa with us. Lisa are you there? Hey, hi Pastor Richard, how are you? So good to see you. I'm looking forward to meeting you in the flesh some time soon when we get to come down. How long have you been in church in Brussels? For me, it's quite a new journey. I just started my journey; I've been in Hillsong Brussels just a year now. Wow. And say you got saved as you joined about a year ago? Incredible. Yes. And how's your life changed? I just gave my heart to Jesus just a year ago in Hillsong Church. It's been such an amazing year, a year filled with blessings and lovely people, especially in Hillsong Brussels. The team really helped me throughout this new journey. In the beginning, it could be very overwhelming, this feeling this faith in Jesus. But they really helped me in this beginning stage. Helped me through beautiful Bible studies, and guided me, even through my baptism last year. That's incredible. Awesome. And have people noticed the change in your life? Yes, very much. Before my life could be very chaotic. And I could really feel the chaotic in myself as well. But throughout this year I really found some wholeness in myself and in my life. Like someone holding their hand on my shoulder and guiding me through life. And really the feeling that you're not alone in this. I love that the peace of God is so real. And I love the way the Holy Spirit guides us. And it's a real example for us, of what church can do, the people around you and what Jesus does. I'm believing to see you step into so much more in your life. It's just begun. Your journey of faith has just begun. And I really believe God has got so much for you. Thanks for coming on today, because I believe that just sharing that is going to encourage so many people. Awesome. Yeah. Thanks so much, Lisa. Look forward to seeing you. Debbie and I will come down some time when we can. And we'll catch up with you guys. I'd love to meet you guys. Awesome. Thanks, Lisa. So good. You know, I'm believing that we'll already hear of hundreds of stories of lives changed. I'm believing for it to be thousands, I'm believing to see a generation rise up. That we're really going to make a difference in the world that we live in. And that's what the Heart for the House offering is about. It's about seeing the Kingdom of God advance. It's about stepping into more than we can with the day-to-day running of the church. It's to take those steps forward and there's so much for us to step into. There's so many more people whose lives are... they just do not know the love of God. They don't know what God's got for them. And together as a church, we can help people step into that. So I know that the team has prepared something beautiful for us. So let's hear from the team now. MOUNTAINS ARE STILL BEING MOVED STRONGHOLDS ARE STILL BEING LOOSED GOD, WE BELIEVE CAUSE YES, WE CAN SEE IT THAT WONDERS ARE STILL WHAT YOU DO AND BODIES ARE STILL BEING RAISED GIANTS ARE STILL BEING SLAYED GOD, WE BELIEVE YES, WE CAN SEE IT THAT WONDERS ARE STILL WHAT YOU DO WE ARE HERE FOR YOU COME AND DO WHAT YOU DO WE ARE HERE FOR YOU COME AND DO WHAT YOU DO WE SET OUR HEARTS ON YOU COME AND DO WHAT YOU DO CAUSE WE NEED A MOVE WE NEED A MOVE WE NEED A MOVE WE NEED A MOVE MIRACLES HAPPEN WHEN YOU MOVE HEALING IS COMING IN THIS ROOM MIRACLES HAPPEN WHEN YOU MOVE HEAVEN IS COMING THIS IS A MOVE THIS IS A MOVE WE'RE STANDING IN THE MIDDLE OF A MOVE RIGHT NOW THIS IS A MOVE (HE IS MOVING) THIS IS A MOVE (DO YOU BELIEVE IT?) THIS IS A MOVE (IT'S THE ONE YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR) THIS IS A MOVE (HE'S ABOUT TO DO WHAT HE DOES) THIS IS A MOVE (YOU'VE BEEN WAITING) AND YOU'VE BEEN FASTING AND YOU'VE BEEN PRAYING THIS IS A MOVE So Heart for the House offering: I am so excited. I'm hearing so many people who are excited about this year and this offering. So many people in life of the church that have been praying for this. That have been saving for this for the whole year. People who are believing that God is going to bless them and see people get blessed. It's so amazing to see what happens when there's a group of people united and what God can do with us together. You know, this year, when it comes to Heart for the House offering:. There's a number of things that we're looking to step into. And it'll be determined by the finances that do come in. For example, we've been talking for a long time about buying a building. Well, I'm believing that this year, the possibilities are that there could be buildings coming available. Because of this Covid19 season. And I'm believing for us to be in a position, that we as a church, That we can we can buy a building coming out of that. A Building does so much for us. It strengthens our church. It gives us a base which to work from. It means that not only do we not have to set up and pack down. And take everything to storage every Sunday, But it also means that that we have a midweek place to work from. That we can store things there, that we can meet the needs of our community from there. That we can help the homeless, help the poor, help those in need, from a hub. It means we've got a place, that we don't have to hire different places during the week Or find out what's available, what's not available, and pay the rent and all of that. But we have a place from which we can do youth services, youth events, trainings. All sorts of different things. So I'm really believing that it's going to be a massive step forward we're gonna be able take the opportunity there is to buy a building. I'm hoping that we can do that for this year. Some of the things that we are looking at when it comes to... ...continuing to take steps forward in the life of the church. In Rotterdam, we are looking to move into a different building, a larger venue this year. So that was that's exciting. Whether it's gonna be this year, or next year. But we will be moving into another location. In Brussels, we're excited about having our worship team in Brussels, Doing live worship in our Brussels location, which we haven't had before as a regular part of our service. And then also when it comes to to reaching into our nation, reaching more people. One of the things that's really come on the radar during this season. Is the dynamic of digital. I mean, we're doing this digitally right now. But I think digital is here to stay. And so we need to to get in a place where we're ready to continue reaching more people through this medium. And that's obviously going to take a lot of setting up. But also potentially a Dutch service. We're looking to do a Dutch service, which also needs more people, needs more team, needs more finances. There's a whole heap of opportunity that is before us. And so we are believing that this Heart for the House offering this year is going to be so significant. To strengthen our church, to see us continue moving forward and to reach further. And reach more people with the gospel, the good news of Jesus. So I'm pretty pumped about about this year's Heart for the House offering. I love hearing the stories of people so excited about it. Deb, let's let's pray together. This is kind of weird because normally we'd stand up together, hold hands and do this. But I guess now we're doing it from the couch. So let's virtually hold hands and let's pray. Yeah. Let's believe that God is going to do something magnificent, something miraculous with this Heart for the House offering, Which I know that for so many of you, and I encourage you, with your families, hold hands. This is a this is a holy moment. This is such a significant time with what God wants to do. With his church to to move forward. So let's all pray together. God we thank you for who you are, and for what you've already been doing in our lives and what you've been doing in the life of the church. Lord, I pray your blessing upon every person in the life of the church. And Lord for those who are who are contributing Lord, It's not equal giving, Lord, it's equal sacrifice. Every person is feeling the sacrifice of this offering. Some may be giving out of the overflow of their lives. Lord I thank you that your hand is upon them. Lord I pray a blessing upon the lives of every person in our church and every person that is contributing to this offering. I thank you Lord, that what comes in Lord, that you'll breathe upon it. Lord, that you will cause it to be fruitful. You'll cause this offering to be something that will advance your kingdom. That we'll take steps forward, that we'll reach more people. That will strengthen our church. That will see us continue to move forward as a church. Lord, we're hear to play our part in what you're doing on the planet. We're here to serve together, to encourage each other, to unite our faith, And Lord to fund what needs to be done. So Lord I thank You that we have the opportunity to give. And Lord I thank you for what you have before us. Lord I'm believing for us as a church to step into incredible things, To create more opportunities for people's lives, more opportunities to reach the lost. More opportunities to see your will done on this planet. So we commit it to You, in Jesus' name, amen. Fantastic. We'll announce how much comes in. I think the first Sunday in July is when that will be. So that's gonna be a great day of celebration as well. You know, we've been talking about us being one body... I mentioned that we're gonna finish the service, we'll finish the message with communion. That's what I'd like to do right now. 1 Corinthians 10:16 says, Is not the cup of Thanksgiving for which we give thanks. A participation in the blood of Christ and is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ? Because there's one loaf, we who are many are one body for we all share of the one loaf. Deb, why don't we grab some bread and some wine or juice? Thank you very much. I don't think I could have reached that myself. And Deb, why don't you lead us in prayer when it comes to the bread in the wine? Yeah, great. Let's pray. God, we thank you for your body, broken that ours would be healed and whole. And your blood shed for us: that we can have this new covenant with you. Lord God, we thank you that we are one body. In Jesus name, amen. If you joined us today, I believe that God was speaking to you. Maybe you've never made your peace with God. Maybe you've never known that God was for you. Perhaps some of the stuff I've been talking about, it's been so new. And it's got you excited. Something is stirring in your heart. I believe God is speaking to you. I believe that God has incredible life for you. He has an incredible plan and purpose for you to step into. And so I just want to let you know that God is not an angry mean God waiting to beat you up. God doesn't want to beat you up. That's why Jesus came. Jesus came that.. He took the punishment for our sins. He died for the forgiveness of our sins. Anything would separate us from God, He took upon himself. Then He rose again to give this new life to prove who He is. And He set us on a course for the life that God created us for. If you've never made your peace with God, then today is your day. Today is your day. This is the first day of the rest of your life. Well, it is for all of us. But for you, this is different. As you step into relationship with God and learn how to live this life with Him. I'd love to pray with you. I'll give you some words so that we can pray together. We'll pray together as a church family from wherever you're watching. We'll all pray together and I'll give you these words so that you can repeat after me. So that we can do it together. The words themselves and the most important thing. The important thing is a heart that says 'God, thank you. I accept that you died for me.' You rose again to give me this new life. I want to live your way. I want to live in relationship with you. So come on, let's all pray together. Dear Jesus, thank you for what you've done for me. I accept that you died for the forgiveness of my sins. And that you rose again to give me new life, life in relationship with God. I thank you that my past will no longer determine my future, But my relationship with you will. I choose to live your way and step into the life you died to give me. The life I was created for. In Jesus' name, amen. You know that the Bible says that the the angels are rejoicing right now. It's like they're having a party in heaven because of the decision that you just made. So we want to congratulate you. We want to rejoice with you. I hope you let us know that you made that decision. I'm looking forward, if you'll allow us to, if you'll do this together, I'm looking forward to seeing all that God has for you. I'm looking forward to seeing you step into the plan and purpose that God has for your life. And I believe He's got great things for you. I'm looking forward to getting to meet you, getting to know you. Hopefully we can do that. But Gab and Gerro will let you know how you can let us know. We just want to say a big congratulations from us. If you have just made this decision, I just want to congratulate you. This is the best decision that you can make. This is the start of a new life with Jesus. So on the screen, you can see a little QR code. Let us know who you are. And we'd love to get in touch with you and help you in any way. Yeah and stay with us because we're going into some more worship. But before we do that, we're going to join Pastor Timo as he honors a dad in Belgium. All right. So the guy that we want to honor is part of our sound team. And he's such a blessing to us. I remember that since they got the kid, I don't think he missed a Sunday. He is always there. Coming from Liege to Brussels, which is quite a ride. We've just been in the car for over an hour. And really just surfing week in, week out. Helping us midweek as well with some stuff. And it's just incredible to see what this couple is doing in the life of our church. So actually as a couple, they're just such a blessing. Let's see if they're home. We're ready for him, I think he's coming down right now. He's living on the top floor. We want to give him a nice gift as well to honor him for Father's Day. Hey Hugue, happy Fathers day! How are you man? It's your first Father's Day. Yes, you're such a blessing. We love you guys. Really. I'm so proud of our team and how the team is just handling the situation. The difficulty of being able to worship together during this time and leading. It's all bringing our focus now attention on God. You know, we're going to praise God and pray for people's needs. Pray for your needs. Pray for what's going on in your life. And I would encourage you to send in your prayer request and your praise reports. Some praise reports of people sent in this week:. Someone is praising God for financial provision. Someone else whose surgery went well. Someone's recovered from an addiction this week. That's pretty cool. Someone's received a new job, and someone else said their business is growing. So all sorts of good things. And we've heard plenty of good situations, good things happening in people's lives, which is awesome. But we're gonna pray as well. And we'll pray for every person who has a need. Here is some of the ones that have been sent in. Someone is praying for healing. Someone whose family has been robbed in Brazil, we're praying for them. Faith for a situation healing after surgery. Someone needs a new job opportunity. Someone has a new accommodation situation. Someone needs peace of mind for exams. Someone else provision for a house in Brussels. We're praying for healing for an eye infection. We're praying for work for someone's sister. And for boyfriend and I to trust God. All sorts of good things. Someone else is asking for a promotion to increase their Kingdom Builder's pledge which is pretty cool as well. Hey, Deb, why don't you pray for these? And for everybody else who has a need that maybe didn't get an opportunity to fill out one of these cards. Great, let's pray. Lord God I thank you for who you are, for the fact that you are God, that you are good, that you love your people. And I pray right now, Father God, for each one of these prayer requests, Father God. Lord I pray that you will prove yourself faithful in these situations. Lord God, I pray for those who have not written down a prayer request. I pray for healing in Jesus' name where it's needed. Lord God, I pray for provision in Jesus' name. I pray Lord for restoration in relationships. I pray for just the eyes to see you moving in our situations. Lord God, thank you for the fact that you are faithful, always. Lord we love you and we just commit this to you. In Jesus' name, amen. You know, I really believe for many of you right now to be sensing the presence of God. And sensing what God is doing in your life. I love that we do have these times of gathering together. And to me, it really feels like God is doing something in people's lives right now. I sense the presence of God here as I speak. And I'm believing for you to sense that in your living room or your kitchen or your bedroom or wherever it is you're watching from. So, yeah, come on, let;s all believe together that you're receiving answers to your prayer, in Jesus' name. Today is Heart for the House Sunday. I want to encourage you when it comes to your regular tithes and offerings as well. In fact, Deb, I know you have a scripture ready, so why don't you encourage us when it comes to our tithes and offerings. I would love to know that I can see my phone. So this week I've been actually thinking about prayer and stuff. In Matthew 6:9-13, Jesus actually tells us how to pray. He says, 'This then is how you should pray. Our Father in heaven, hallowed be thy name. (May) Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. In The Passion Translation it actually says, We acknowledge you as our provider of all we need each day. Now you know what? The fact is that God is our provider. He is our provider whether we acknowledge it or not. He is our provider. By tithing, which actually means ten percent, it's giving back to Him, what is His. He's our provider. He's the one who gives us the ability to make finance. He is the one who gives us our jobs. He's the one who provides for us every day. And when we acknowledge that, we actually give God honor in this area of our life. And it's actually just an act of worship. It's returning to Him what is His. Tithing is returning to Him. Offerings is above and beyond, and and that's a different thing. Can I just encourage you: I don't know where you are in this area of your life, but can I just encourage you to trust God? He is your provider. He is the one who who knows your situation intimately. And he is the one who can provide for you. So can I just encourage you: acknowledge him in your situation. Yeah? Let's pray. Lord God, we thank you for the fact that you are God and you are good. And I pray right now for this area of our life Father God, for our finances. And I pray in Jesus' name, Lord, that you would open our eyes to what the word of God says in this area of our life. That we would trust you in this area, that we would know that you are our provider. In Jesus' mighty name, amen. Thank you, Pastor Richard and Debbie, for leading us in that moment. Hey, there's still much more coming up in the life of our church. One of those being Growth Labs. We've been having these growth labs over the last few months. And they've been super fun and very educational. And this Thursday, 18th of June, we're going to have a Growth Lap on speed reading. So for all the readers out there who want to go through more books during the summer, Or for the students who want to go through a book a bit faster, Make sure that you register via the link on the screen. And we would love to see there on Thursday. Yep. I'm going to need to register for that. So every Sunday our service goes live at 10 a.m. Most of us would know, church is not about a building, it's about the people. And so now, since the government measures have eased a bit, We can now go out to parks, watch the service together. Do whatever, of course, only when you feel comfortable to do so, and with 1.5 meter distance. Yeah. I'm so looking forward to that. Hey, this has been such a great Sunday. And for years it's been so significant for me personally as well. So I just want to thank you all for being with us today. And make sure that you come back next week, 10 AM, to watch the service together again. Gerro do you want to pray with us for our upcoming week? Yep. I would love to. Father I just thank you for every single person. And for every single family that is watching right now. I just thank you that you are working in and through our lives. And we just pray for the upcoming weeks. I pray that you would continue to speak to them, continue to guide them, continue to lead them. And we just thank you for it. In Jesus' name. Amen. See you next week. Bye.
