the boy does have good hands good bad taste in cars nope you can't polish welcome back to the land of 100 foot gas flares and big old dirty grizzly bears um I figured I've made all these greasy tools for this filthy old 12-valve and figured I might tell you guys how to put her to use me out so my buddy over at Langton enterprises hooked me up with some badass stuff oh I'm trying to go the two-minute grace period for you know what so I could get the demon earth now get the D monetize this time we'll see how far we can go anyway that minty person out east dialed me up the that's so hard not to swear I just can't do it but he dialed me up with these valve springs and I figured I'd show you meatheads how to throw them in see the reason that you want 60 pound valve springs is because so you can Rev her a little higher and the governor kit that you buy for the pump you can either go up to 3 grand it'll it already goes to 3300 but you starts defueling right out of the gate so you don't get all the horsepower all the way and if you know me I like all the horsepower all the way so we're gonna throw in step 4 valve springs and let this prick Rev the 4 grand can you say prick on YouTube will Tim liberal voters not getting triggered oh my goodness the safe space junk is getting to me all right let's don't throw these things in the truck I need a beer anyhow you're gonna need a injector puller if your injector timed out in a while you're gonna need this little air compressor Deeley to put into the injector hole to hold your valves from falling down and you're also gonna need one of these fancy-pants valve spring compressor to lease you can probably buy these well no you couldn't you can buy these but up here in the kanata Stan that's hard to come by these so I've built my own so that's what you're gonna need for this video and you're also gonna need your valve springs oh yeah let's get to her so first things first get up on here and get rid of all your injector lines first those are the first to go and if you don't know that or you can't handle that you just you just got to go back in the trailer and and give the old lady inches speaking about a couple inches you American fellas that live down the states that just swear by using standard for everything you might benefit a little bit from using metric and you're sitting there saying well how the hell does that how am I gonna benefit from from metric well the benefits you might get out of it is like let's see if you got it we've got a tiny little pecker on you right and it's two inches well there's twenty five point four millimeters per inch so so you got a two inch pecker that's fifty point eight millimeters so that's why they measure guns and in metric because you know like a nine millimeter that sounds bad eyes or I got a fifty point eight millimeter bird on me you know that's one sound a lot better than I'm packing two inches around like come on now metrics not all that bad anyway back to work here so yeah you're gonna want to get rid of your injector lines throw them in the [ __ ] ditch pull all your injectors out with using your special fancy-pants injector removal tool get rid all your valve covers but before all this you're gonna want to blow the engine down or go wash it off because a bunch of dirt and there's probably not gonna [ __ ] be good for partying around in there and you don't need lobes on your cam so after you're done all that you're left with rockers and push rods and all that [ __ ] [ __ ] get rid of your rockers and chances are if you're gonna be doing sixty pound valve springs you're probably gonna be doing head studs so as soon as you get all those [ __ ] taken off of there take your valve Horry sorry take your rocker pedestals take them to the machine shop and you're gonna have to have them taken down a little bit so you got room underneath your valve cover for your for your head studs because the head studs stick up for other than the head bolts and you won't be able to get your valve covers back on a bunch of guys say you could probably use a grinder to do it but but there's also been a bunch of guys that said a Wolverine to make a swell house pet well I'm never letting my mother-in-law coming to town again so I'm just gonna stick with the good [ __ ] and let the machinist do it I had a minty guy do my work in town here he's a real [ __ ] sweetheart they gave me a good deal on it and I think you can even buy these pedestals already milled out for what you need and if you live down the state you're probably better off doing that it's like 150 bucks or something for all your pedestals so anyway after you got all your pedestals taken off actually before that before you do your pedestals roll your engine over top dead center compression by pin and out your engine on that side make sure you pull your PIN back before you share the [ __ ] thing off and you can do that by putting a 24 milind your alternator yeah we're going back to metric and then roll the prick over it might be different for a Dodge I don't know but roll the prick over until you can pin out the cam gear and then number one is that top 10 set of compression and then you're gonna want all your the piste or the cylinder that you're working on you're gonna want the piston to come all the way up because then your valves won't drop down in case you lose air and if you wanted to remember the firing orders 1536 24 a guy was saying that 15 is too young to [ __ ] 36 if you [ __ ] she'll end up giving you down syndrome kids and 24 right on the money so that's a good way to remember it so 15 36 24 so we'll do 1 5 3 6 2 4 and that'll just save you some time there I swear to [ __ ] I'm starting to wear out these injector holes here I'll have them wear out the wife's hole yet so we're doing pretty good so I thread this all the way to the basement there like I said if you haven't if you don't have all these tools you're pretty far [ __ ] for the next cylinders we're gonna be doing I'm just gonna stick a screwdriver in the hole and just make sure she's all the way up to top dead center and then then we can do that cylinder so throughout this guy all the way to the basement give her a little snug in and then put your valve compression tool lon so you got that piston all the way up take your handy down the air line here I turn like a pressure down to about 90 pounds for one you don't want to fire the piston back down and to my compressor sucks ass so if it's leaking any air let's keep kicking in the boat so ya stick that on there you can hear the air hissing a little bit manty and now start tightening this down I'm gonna actually open up the box before I get into this here I have it on with the Bob's it's probably a [ __ ] pile the packaging then I got a big into all right we got our handy helpers in here what do you think stinks are you helping you don't get paid to think all right so we got the box ready to dial these [ __ ] in there stick your airline on to the cylinders like so you hear it hissing that's good and now you're gonna want to crack this down and now if you start hearing hissing what's happening is your keepers are jammed on to your valve springs or your valve spring keepers and it's actually lowering the valve down yes no that's not a bee right there that's not beer no it's not beer that's juice all right we're gonna take this guy down stinger doozy all right make sure that airline doesn't come off some worse so what's happening right now is the valves are being held shut by the air pressure in the cylinder so well tighten them down until your keeper starting to fall off like so and get them out of there with a magnet stick your Yap ink can be dead and then just stick your magnet in here and there's one you might have you to pick here so I'll just take your pick and then just move over to the side like so and then oh Jesus Christ oh there she comes and these are really expensive magnets from princess Otto dollar 99 stick that one there and then this guy here I know you're helping oh there goes the compressor like I said and this guy this magnet sucks my ass don't say that John that's a bad word yeah just break these loose here and we're gonna remember that the front cylinder is the one on the outside you like the handy-dandy little thing I built there to keep [ __ ] from dropping down the intake all right no next one all right you get the idea use a magnet to get the keepers off alright next step you're gonna want to switch your wrench around here and back her up you know what are they extinct and we bagged it it is it man I'm gonna move this before I hit it [Music] loretty keep bagging her up here you're not gonna want to be droppy with any of this stuff you don't want to make sure your hands good on it and pull up on this guy and now your valves will come right out I know ple the goddamn the pressure stop sitters aside here we have a new one I don't think great no up paint no down make sure the hole is clean this isn't high school boys you know it makes you the whole team make sure your valve seals still mint on there while you're in here if you push down on this valve you're gonna have a bad day but since the piston the top dead center it don't matter no stick that on there you crazy man stick that guy on there like so man I mean d'emic mint and this guy goes here and now we got to do this side so I'll show you once I get her together cuz doing this one hand it is really not a good time all right so now they got new Springs in there there they're quite a bit taller well yeah the new ones are definitely girthier and taller so there you go that's why you're gonna want to build your tool with an extra long piece of ready route on there those two old ones are out too old to do two new ones are in there - tea - tea tea all right now when you crank this down you're gonna want to have your valve stem dead center on your keepers all right so keep in mind is that the only thing holding your valves up is there so when you're tightening down on this guy make sure they're dead center crank them all the way down and then stick your keepers back in junior are you crazy are you sure a little bit crazy all right all right now what you're gonna want to do is just get your keepers in there nice and deep black and back off on this nut keeping an eye on your keepers I'm doing this one hand again No I gotta do this two-handed so now that you got your son hammered and [ __ ] on your trick are you hammered I struck yeah well that's plastic you want to hammer that get alright so now you're gonna want to back this guy off and you should be min there you go you got them done number one done next down the line will be number five all right now I'll just take your white ball that you definitely didn't steal from your buddy move them over to number cylinder one here so you're not dropping any of your [ __ ] in there and now we're going on to number five so while you're barring the engine over you're gonna want to go counterclockwise and you can take a screwdriver in there or whatever I just got the old blower in there cuz I got an air brake line on it oh there goes that injector again alright definitely need more than one hand oh there it goes there goes your [ __ ] blower oh there goes an injector we are making sure we're not squishing the [ __ ] thing which we did that's why you got to use something soft okay well that was pretty hard doing it single-handed there but I got her I got her up too you can feel the piston on there so that one's all the way up so in case we [ __ ] this thing up the the valves won't fall down into the hole and that's what you're gonna want to go for I got that don't really [ __ ] matter because the Pistons always gonna come all the way up it doesn't have to be on compression but yeah we're gonna do number five now so if you remember me [ __ ] saying earlier that when you start tightening down a tool you might hear air hissing so that's what we got going on right now and what's going on is the valve keepers binding with the [ __ ] mouth and it's pushing down on the whole works the way you do to keep that from happening taking it down a little bit give a little whack with a hammer and she down there you go now just keep tightening the [ __ ] down alright so my engine was using the tiny bit of oil I think I don't know about what or not really I it's this still pretty low mild engine but the valve seal on this side has definitely come off and I guess from what I was reading that's pretty common on these so while you're in here you might want to buy some new valve seals or just throw a socket down over top of these and push them back down after you clean them up with a little bit of brake clean there's number five she's done so we're working on number six here and every time I'd hook the [ __ ] air line up she'd fire the cylinder down so you're gonna want to do it right when the crank [ __ ] hits mid throws so there's obviously there's no momentum behind the [ __ ] so right it [ __ ] top dead center that's one you're gonna want to add the air to her and then dial the air back to about sixty or seventy pounds because it seems like buck 20 just send her right back down to the [ __ ] bottom and that's not a good time so if you're doing the [ __ ] ones on the back and I know on a Dodge you can't really see them and on a Ford you can't see them with a [ __ ] I'm action can use the camera as we're doing right now just gonna have a little look at it you see that one dead [ __ ] Center and that one's dead [ __ ] Center don't just dial this thing down without knowing that those things are in dead center cuz you'll push the bell down and she'll fall [ __ ] that so you be halfway through [ __ ] the wife you'd be thinking about it you'd be standing at the [ __ ] sink after eating a greasy old ham sandwich you'll be thinking about it you'll be at work trying to [ __ ] do [ __ ] you'll be [ __ ] thinking about it make sure all your keepers are on there all the [ __ ] way you won't stop thinking about these things you'll go in the house after working on your truck and you'd be like jesus [ __ ] christ did I remember to put that keeper all the way on there and just make sure you [ __ ] them do them all man cuz if you don't it's gonna be a bad time all right you got one two three four five six greasy [ __ ] out and there's some scary [ __ ] that was happening my remaining leg completely [ __ ] fell asleep now that might not be a big [ __ ] deal for you two legged folks but all [ __ ] this one's for Burt Reynolds [ __ ] love that guy oh yeah why not be scary for you two legged [ __ ] but for a guy that's only God the one remainder the good ones fall to sleep it's gonna be a bad [ __ ] time got all six out make sure you got six greasy ones that means you got six clean ones in there mix a little spice in there open up the next box and keep batter this intermissions just about done though legs coming back to life I guess the old the other one I don't think I can get as lucky my magic shave Mama's head it'd take me anywhere all right [ __ ] well that's all she wrote every [ __ ] hole is ready for four grand and that's Mindy's [ __ ] that every injector hole plugged off a little bit of white ball action well yeah everyone's man um I guess these valve seals do wander up quite a bit so just keep an eye on them while you're doing your [ __ ] and then it'd be a good time to change them might even wanted this by a set of valves healed before you even [ __ ] pull your valve covers off just in case I don't know what the [ __ ] they're worth they're probably pretty cheap but go out and buy a set and it's cheap insurance that's for [ __ ] sure just a quick note before we end this video well drinking and driving is probably a real bad idea and drinking and timing is a really bad idea if you pull this out of here if you're trying to pin out your engine so number one cylinder that top dead center compression you're trying to pin this out and it's no bueno other a the guy that was dinging with it before you sheared it off or you might have had too many potato waters and she gone all right so you're gonna have to bite the bullet and go to Commons but you can buy just this piece it's 12 bucks Canadian so that's like 35 cents erican and she comes with the titty still on her pulled us out of the box out of the engine if you're real good with a ranch you could might be able to do it with the injection pump on but I was not able to I was fiddle [ __ ] in there anyway it was stuff but they are a t25 and they're probably gonna strip out on you just go on and do an aluminum case I think so yeah good luck hopefully you get her out once you get it off you can pull this snap ring off and then pull this guy through the backside if you're really good with your hands but this guy is in the way of everything so if you can do it you're a better man than I and to pull that little internal snap ring Deeley off me - get in there nice and deep black and yank on it and slide the new one in and hope for the best what I did is I honed it out with this little guy so it was a it travelled a little smoother I was having a hard time getting it to travel and that's I'm gonna blame it on Commons Cummins or junk and they don't build good enough engines hashtag accountability
