12 USELESS Facts about Subnautica! (Glitches, scrapped creatures & more!)

hey there i'm aki and welcome to 12 useless facts about subnautica why useless well i don't know you're the one i clicked on this video there are some minor spoilers for the game though so watch out there are 39 volumes 49 creatures five extinct creatures and seven creatures that were never implemented the creatures that were implemented were one the bloom plankton which you can actually spawn in with commands and it actually works as soon as you turn light on it it glows two the grab grab which might have been able to grab players items like the sea monkey below zero three the bullet fish which would have worked similarly to the crash fish but instead of exploding it worth taking a chunk of the player's oxygen well thank god it wasn't implemented crash fish are already annoying enough for the large birds seen in the first early access trailer for subnautica this one right here five the sand worm an early predecessor of the ice room in below zero six the slime which we only know about that was meant to encourage you to explore at different times whatever that means and seven the rock puncher which was then added to below zero as you can see they made good use of all of those concepts or at least most of them and implemented them in below zero in one form or another next up acid rooms used to retract and shrink once the player got close i have no idea what that was supposed to be for but hey they did and you also used to be able to eat them yeah acid mushrooms no idea why you would want that your cyclops can no longer flood even if you go past your crush depth it just catches fire and explodes weird i know i would have preferred multiple ways for the cyclops to be destroyed but i'm sure the devs had their reasons to remove it as you can see fire burns right where water comes into the cyclops yeah that doesn't really make a whole lot of sense does it one you can use the command school fish ai to toggle the ai of a school of fish on or off what it's used for well nothing it's a list of useless facts what did you expect the foil trading card for a repel of ivan on the steam market is currently valued at 31 cents even though there is a crashed lifepod 19 only a total of 9 are able to be found in the game the rest probably never even launched when the aurora crashed peepers get a fun slide park in the primary containment facility slides early sea improvisers were really similar to warper sounds take a listen um creepy if you get really far away from the map creatures and even you yourself used to start glitching out like crazy i assumed this had something to do with the garden numbers being extremely high but i honestly have no idea what's causing this to be honest it's still really funny though sadly you can't do this anymore now since when you get too far away it'll teleport you right back that's a little bit disappointing but i get why they did that i mean you don't want the entire game glitching out just because someone is exploring the void right swivel chairs don't actually swivel what is this like seriously come on while subnautica was being developed a total of six babies of members of the death team were born you can see them in the credits under production babies also i'm in the credits as well so that's nice i found these two peepers floating above the water in the middle of nowhere well actually it was like five peepers but i have no idea what's going on they even blinked so they're clearly still alive and those were 12 useless facts about subnautica if you found this video helpful wait okay leave a like anyways or consider subscribing if you enjoy videos like these also huge shout out to my aki cult leaders blink and why not on patreon thank you so much for your support i hope you enjoy your special perks but for now thank you very much for watching and as always i'll see you next time good [Music] bye [Music] three
