1,000 round cycle complete on the Canik MC9!

all right hope you all are doing good today we are back here with the Canik mc9 what I have here is multiple magazines loaded up with 124 grain Winchester white box FMJ I have not had any more malfunctions since I switched to it um 124 grain seems to be running okay especially after the other improvements I have not changed the recoil spring assembly I know canix offering a separate one now that they will ship you if you're having problems with it but I switched to the 124 grain and that seemed to resolve it for now might do another video later if I uh change and see if I can get the 115 grains to cycle reliably but for now this will take this pistol up to a thousand rounds I've been meaning to do this for a while but life got in the way here we are it's hot I'm outside in a black shirt so let's get this rolling I'm going to run through these 150 rounds if there's any kind of stoppage I'll let you know I'm going to try to catch the brass and we're shooting at a third size silhouette Target at seven yards so I will show you the target afterwards I am running the hollow sun 507k now and I have been impressed with it so hopefully this will come out well and we will go from there okay catching most of the brass thank you still trying to get used to this new grip Style you got it down yet but I'm working on it thank you foreign okay notice it did not go completely home remove the magazine it did try to chamber around but it did not go completely there let's see if the extractor is to blame nope pushing on it nothing's happening it did not [ __ ] the striker extract the round oh round is hot I'm gonna leave it sitting there for a minute until it cools down and then I'll show you the the defect on it that may not be the gun that might be the ammo we'll continue thank you all right cleared only the one failure I think it was the ammo that looks like to me that they kind of pinch the brass whenever they were seating this there's no deformation on the nose cone so this is probably just a defective piece of ammo because it looks like it bolts the case whenever they were seating the round and then when it went through the die it smashed it flat but it wasn't enough to let it chamber completely no kind of indentation on the primer at all so all in all 149 rounds as long as you got good ammo I think we might be okay no other issues than that and considering that I'm still working on my grip see that's pretty good it's not great there's obviously room for improvement but 150 round group and it looks like I only had one two three four five six seven outside of the seven ring completely with the vast majority of them being inside the eight nine or ten ring so I'm not going to argue with that uh like I said that's a thousand rounds through this thing now and uh all of it with you know relatively cheap ammo so I'm gonna say that's pretty successful and uh probably call it uh good on this unless anybody has any other questions ideas still going to test it with the uh concealed carry ammo of course before I uh you know carry it but all right that was it for today I'm gonna go into air conditioning so uh y'all have a good day thanks
