$100 Wagyu TOMAHAWK Steak! BEST Steak in New York City!

hey guys it's Mike Chen I am in New York City and today's gonna be a really fun day but before we get to that I just want to mention that this video is sponsored by video blogs a subscription-based video stock footage service that I've been using for years now so really happy to have them on board anyway like I mentioned today it's gonna be a really fun day because rarely do I get to just kind of go into the city and just not do anything by eat and hang out with friends and maybe show at a coffee shop somewhere so that's exactly what today is gonna be a lot of food lotta just you know doing nothing more food and the first place I'm going to I haven't been for months so excited let's go eat a piece of steak for steak today we're going to what I consider one of the best steak houses in New York City surprises kidding we're not going there because there are just just a ton of steak houses here in New York City everybody has their favorites and I think I've been to pretty much all of them I really like Kings for their mutton chop I've been to Peter Luger's I thought it was just very overhyped and I've talked about this on my blog before but they'll Frisco's my favorites go to steak house in New York City and taking into account the food that service the ambiance because you go to a steak house you're spending a lot of money you want the service to be awesome you want to really enjoy your time you for sure want the state to be good this is my go-to steak house in New York City every time I come to you're never a bad experience from Venice here and somebody's ready for some steak game all right this place is kind of expensive but luckily it has a coupon for $25 thank you we were counting on that coupon expired it's ten days later I don't think ignorance was you can try home but there's a couple things I always get here the crab cake is phenomenal I really love the bread one it's other fresh - it's super tasty three it's free unlimited what are you gonna get stay for steak I always only get one steak here I get their American Wagyu that's they're like let's take care it's not on the lunch menu how much is that one that's close to here now there's like ninety bucks but it's still not expensive that's called a snake it's like half price of coal-based a look at this what happened Ben Ben Ben just had a baby that's what happens yeah have a baby get the baby the transferred over to your thing is after eating cold a steak nothing is gonna be as good as coal bags yay I'm talking about this beautiful loaf of bread this is fantastic this is the bread when you just get warmer and crunchy err and more delicious this is one of my favorite things to get here they grill up a baddy king crab claw this is delicious and there's pre sausage all the sauces are awesome a lot of the best things we have here oh look at juicy that is they serve it to you either chilled work grilled always get billed as amazing I love Kim Chi which grillak dip is some of the sauce really amazing tonight some real surf and turf right here that's mine oh look at that baby sir yes sir thank you I love that yep no it's good to me your steak is still sizzling that book that's awesome look at this damn I feel like a caveman that just hunted a t-rex this is how steak should be done Flintstones I've always wanted to do this as a primal way that you stake it really is very caveman-esque her name is beautiful [Music] mr. perfect piece has some fat some you know char so much pity finish perfect by the stink army does right here the meat closes to the ball is the best part [Music] a lot of therapy I know sort of a fancy sneak out it's gone I'm gonna stay here luckily I'm kind of facing the window I'm just like I'm gonna ask really casual you know nothing to see here just Asian turned on and a bump very normal shop yeah you guys think this is the right way to do it anyway I appreciate that as we should thank you thanks for coming over it come as no judgment do it you guys are awesome everybody next time this used to be a to pass take by the way I'm gonna know this some more that was a huge and very delicious steak and I feel like I'm I need to take a nap in my car for a little bit and then on to Queens I'm in Queens and I have about four hours of free time before my next appointment so even though this is kind of a more relaxing day I get to come in the city I get a hell my friend have some steak I still got a wart I found this new cafe it's really I really like this place so we're gonna go there do some work maybe have some ice cream actually really love the Korean bean sue or shaved ice here at this place really good shaved ice I was walking by and filming and somebody may just give me the strangest look ever anyway really really awesome shave ice but this cafe I really like why noise coffee company tons of space and great ice cream a circus it looks like a croissant that a to other croissants this is something good to have here black sesame and fresh milk and the whole thing is kind of shaped like a little poo how else do you describe this shape I have no idea you know something need a have a big stake hi it's dinner time I feel like I just ate that steak is still in here but today I'm going to dinner with a few people I've never met before sometimes I get emails from fans that won't have dinner with me and because I really really do appreciate you guys watching the video so sometimes people email me they say they're gonna be in town for a few days they really want to grab dinner so if I have time I'm gonna go grab dinner with them and that's what I'm doing right now and my favorite soup dumpling place in Queens New York City hands down your minds gonna be blonde I'm excited for you this is Jenny oh yeah nice to meet you first dish salty silken tofu this is a northern favorite more than people love that some people love the sweet version leave out the salty version you can actually mix this stuff it's gonna be pretty don't know what's taking the pictures all right well good okay so we mix this up and there's some pickled veggies here pickle relish some seaweed cilantro foil and this is really unique northern Chinese dish and Chinese is literally called tofu brains because it's kind of soft like brains on the first impression of silken tofu I love the shop a little wontons in the spicy hot oil about mr.
