- These are the top 10
things you should be buying at Costco in the month of May. Welcome back to the channel. Oh my goodness. Do I
have a list for you guys. I'm the YouTube Deal Guy, Matt Granite. Great to have you here. From a product that turns
your stove into a barbecue to solar bug zappers, deals on self-defense
products and desserts that include free champagne flutes. I've got you covered in a big way today. If you guys like this
video or my research, please give this video a thumbs up. It helps a great deal. The first group of products you should be buying from
Costco in the month of May are all entirely frozen. Let's start with a 20-pack
of organic popsicles, $9.99. This is the type of thing
you would find at Whole Foods at 2-3x times the price. Not that I shop at Whole Foods, but I have been hit with ads thanks to my Prime membership. There's a 12 count of sorbet, and the fruit in this
sorbet tastes so good, you're almost convinced
for a couple of moments you're eating something
more creamy, like a gelato. And a five-pound of highly
coveted, frozen mango chunks. These mango chunks are
ideal for smoothies, sangria and countless others,
summer beverage concoctions. In the number two spot
before I tackle storage and some great products for your car, self-defense is front
of mind for many people who have resumed jogging.
If you guys look at me, I've clearly never
jogged a day in my life, but for those of you that are out there, there are four packs of pepper
spray and the fogging sprays. So, two pepper sprays and two
fogging sprays for $29.99. And while you are outdoors,
whether it's camping, hiking, or you're looking for
self-defense against a storm, there is a two-pack of LED lanterns. And these LED lanterns
which are very well rated, include phone chargers, a bonus. And two for $19.99 is two
big thumbs up in my book. In the number three spot, it's a trio of winning kitchen products, before I jump into those
products for your car. You'll find a four-piece fridge bin set, hopefully available at your
local Costco this month, new, $19.99. This four-piece of fridge
bin set is ideal for fridge, possibly freezer, and
even pantry organization this DIY season. You're gonna find a two-pack
kitchen cooling rack for $9.97. If this price appears a
little bit high to you even though you are getting two, the one sold at Costco are
nonstick and stackable, which puts them ahead
of what you might find at your local dollar store. I found a six-piece knife set including covers for each
of the knives at $16.99, which is an astoundingly low price. And if you do the math, that
works out to $2.83 per knife. And as an add on to this category in the event that you do cut
yourself with an old knife or a new knife, these Welly's bandage kits include 150 different colored
bandages of all sizes. Great for first aid in the kitchen, a glove compartment, hiking
and enjoying the outdoors. And just as a parent, although my daughter has been
walking for quite some time as she nears her third birthday, she still falls down quite a bit, Actually, so do I, so, this would be a great
thing to have in your home. In the number four spot of what you should be buying
at Costco in the month of May, let's talk cars. This microfiber wash brush which includes a soap dispenser, an ideal Father's Day gift at $24.99. And on the same car aisle in Costco while we are talking
Father's Day gift ideas, you can buy a ratchet tie-down set, an entire four-pack made by CAT, industrial strength, $21.99 for all four. In the number five spot, it's like I just gave you
an imaginary high five. That was weird. But in that spot of what
you should be buying at Costco in the month of May, let's talk food. The Mandarin orange chicken, absolutely delicious, $13.99 cents. You can spare yourself that
next overpriced take out bill thanks to just how delicious and authentic this happens to taste. The chicken fried rice at $11.69, also doing the Asian food selection of the Kirkland brand proud. And, the quiche two-pack
just to throw that in, a cheddar broccoli and
spinach artichoke combination, $11.49, another Costco food
favorite in my household in the month of May. In the number six spot, it's all about barbecue products and also some great Father's
Day contenders here. So, this is a category
you might wanna consider for either occasion. The five-piece barbecue set
that you see right here, $16.99. I understand that you
could find the same thing at Dollar Tree for half the price, but this is better quality. Speaking of splurges, this seven-piece barbecue
knife set, $99.99. Now, this comes from a
brand called Cangshan, incredibly well-rated but also extremely expensive on Amazon. Some of the Costco offerings beat the Amazon prices by about 50 bucks. And while we're on the topic of barbecue, more of a bargain tied to
The Rock reversible grill. This essentially allows you
to barbecue on your gas stove. It's two-sided, it's $21.99. And while this was actually
released at the end of April, it was very difficult to
find at many local Costcos. It is now more widely available. Before I show you a product test tied to one of the stranger
items on this list, in the number seven spot, it's all about seasonal bug zapping. The two-pack solar bug zapper which has adjustable sizing, you could crank it up
in height for a patio, or make it shorter for a walkway, $49.99 for a two-pack. If UV insect traps are more your thing, mosquitoes, hornets, flies, wasps, you all don't stand a chance
against this $70 bad boy. I realized the prices might
be a little bit higher, but most of these products
are tied to reputable brands and products that bring
all sorts of benefits for your entire summer
and fall potentially. And this travel hammock which I love, weighs under two pounds in
terms of its portability, but will handle up to
400 pounds in weight, $24.99. In the number eight spot of what you should buy at
Costco in the month of May, a product I never really
anticipated exploring. Post-tax season, a lot of us
might just be looking to shred. Or if you're like me, you don't get out that much, and you don't have a whole lot of friends other than the amazing subscribers
of this YouTube channel, and in all honesty, my
family's absolutely awesome. I like shredding just for fun. I saw an advertisement
for this Microcut shredder that can supposedly
handle 18 pages at once and credit cards, $99.99. And I'm thinking to myself, I already have one from
the Amazon Basics brand which unfortunately seems
to jam from time to time, and the ones at Staples at the
time I'm uploading this video aren't particularly competitively priced. So, I explored this product and I want you to hear right now just how quiet this product
is in terms of its operation. (paper shredder grinding) I showed those 18 pages
at once who was boss. And this thing is even on wheels. So, if you have a small office
or you just enjoy shredding, I highly recommend this product
in the number eight spot. In the number nine spot, it's one of those incredible products you didn't know you needed. And it's a folding wagon that
has a 300-pound capacity. Bear with me for a moment. This wagon would not only be ideal for all of your Costco grocery runs where you could then bring
this back to your car, folded up, stored in the back seat. But this would also be ideal
for any of the DIY projects around your home if you are contemplating something
in your backyard or yard, tied to gardening or landscaping. Although it does have a fabric liner, you could easily put something a little bit more
protective on top of this. But the 300-pound weight capacity, and the fact it folds, and has a price of $69.99 gives this a number nine spot on my list. In the number 10 spot before I get into a rapid
round of bonus items that you definitely wanna see, I present to you life changing desserts. And almost all of these
are under 10 bucks. Let's start with chocolate croissants. Why not? $6.99. I hate to say it, but this tastes even better
than what I am able to enjoy at my local bakery. Yes, it is so important to support the local eateries, and bakeries, and hardworking members of our community. But for $6.99, I am taking
these chocolate croissants home. There's a pick two Danish
special going on for $9.99. These are larger in terms
of both size and taste, and would definitely be a
favorite around an office. The raspberry white chocolate Bundt cake. I wanna thank my wife for flagging this because I would have walked right by it, $11.49, pure deliciousness. You can get a tiramisu for $6.99 which is more reflective
to what you would find as an overpriced dessert, at least double the price at
a fine Italian restaurant. And at $6.99, this can hold its own. And as we finish up the dessert round, the big finale is a chocolate dessert. While I was standing in front of these, I actually had two different
Costco employees come up to me from two areas of the store
over the course of five minutes. Yes, I stared for a long time. These include a delicious layer
of whipped cream and cocoa over a chocolate cream. And for $9.99, with this, you get six champagne glasses that are 12.7 ounces and
are very nicely made. In fact, this is a product of Italy. Now, you could go to the Dollar Tree and get champagne flutes, but they're not gonna
fill it with desserts. And for roughly the same price, I'm telling you on this one, Costco is the way to go. And now, for some rapid fire bonus buys of what you should buy at
Costco in the month of May. You'll find a four-pack
of broom hooks for $9.99. If you break down the price per item, you're roughly a buck 50 more than what you would
find at the Dollar Tree, but the quality is better. This highly searched for and
very well-reviewed goat's milk and soybean oil soap for what it's worth has absolutely no additives,
is extremely natural, and apparently great if
you have sensitive skin. You can find cooler bags for $8.99. Great if you do not live
near a warehouse club and you're bringing back some frozen food. Also great for the summer tailgating, so many other ways to enjoy that. And I'm happy to report the neatfreak free standing
storage closet sets are under a hundred bucks at Costco, $99.97. Ideal if you are packing up a student that's heading off to college, or a student apartment and dorm. These are also great ways that
you can organize a guest room or really any room in your home. You could even put this
free standing storage closet inside a larger closet and really maximize your organization. I wanna offer a maxed out thank you to anyone that made it
this far into the video. If you guys did like this
