- These are the top 10 best
fast food hacks new for 2021. Welcome back to the channel. I'm the YouTube Deal Guy, Matt Granite. From free beverages at Starbucks to huge savings at Chipotle. Plus why you do not need to pay for French fries at McDonald's
on a Friday until June 27th. I've got you covered. If you guys liked this content please give this video a thumbs up. It helps with the YouTube algorithm, as well as my underdeveloped
level of self-esteem. Fast-food act number one, is that McDonald's, I'm
gonna target the McFlurry although we'll discuss the Big
Mac and the French fry hacks in a few moments. A McFlurry at a McDonald's in my region at the time I'm uploading this
video costs $2 and 39 cents. That's a lot of money
given what you receive in my personal opinion. Today's video, obviously not sponsored. You can score virtually the same thing with the DIY Solution. instead of the McFlurry, order
a Sunday Hot Fudge or Carmel for a dollar and 29 cents. And then what you guys might not know is you can actually ask
your server at McDonald's to add a McCafe cookie or
essentially a smashed Oreo that they handle in the back for 39 cents. That brings your total to
$1 and 68 cents versus $2 and 39 cents for the McFlurry,
essentially the same thing with a bit of a DIY angle,
that does add up quickly. And McFlurry is actually
very popular in my household, my daughter loves it. In my last video, many of you
guys thought I was advocating for the regular intake of fast food. And I think that's just
because it looks like I have a massive head attached
to the body of a teenage boy, but for a lot of this stuff, the advice that I'm giving you
take it with a grain of salt, apply it in moderation. It's great if you're on the road a lot for convenience or a guilty pleasure. Now speaking of healthier,
fast food alternatives let's move on to number two. Fast food hack number two is at Subway. If you wanna enjoy a salad at Subway which could cost two to
$3 more than a sandwich which is the exact same portion size in terms of ingredients, I'm
going to suggest the following; order your sandwich of choice and then ask them to hold the bread. In many cases, they'll
simply make the sandwich without the bread and put
it into the only container they have available, which
is the salad container. There you go. You've got a salad. If that doesn't work
and the sandwich artists needs a little bit of handholding, order your favorite sandwich of choice, ask them to hold the bread and then tell them to put all
of those sandwich ingredients into a Subway salad container. You've just saved two to $3. And since the sandwiches
include all of the dressings they can in fact, put that on the salad. And if they ask you at checkout, you just want a salad, don't you? Just smile at them and tell them, no, you wanted the sandwich, hold
the bread with the container. And I'm gonna actually draw attention to a subscriber of this channel. Steve Hansen, who utilizes
the same technique that I've employed over the years. We're not looking to make the
lives of fast food workers any any more difficult, but in many cases they won't spit into your food and they may actually
smile at your creativity. Fast food hack number three. You can order many of your favorite items from Arby's for $1 if you go between two and 5:00 PM. That's right, Arby's happy
hour, a slider, a cookie small potato cakes, small curly fries, a shake or a small drink
available for just a one buck if you go between two and 5:00 PM. On the last video that I
released many of you guys said, well, it's just a few
cents you were there. You're saving me three or $4. It's not me, but it does
add up very quickly, I'm obviously very frugal and I get off on this type of thing. So for me, it does add up. I had one viewer on our prior video. William mentioned that the
happy hour in his region is two to 4:00 PM. And then someone else mentioned that it is in fact two to
5:00 PM in their community. But that $1 goes a long way. Specifically for sliders you're saving as much as three to $5, depending on what you
add and how much you bu. In the event a happy hour is not being run at an Arby's location in
your state or your community. They will typically run a two
for $6 option in its place, which is still a great deal until happy hour returns
at a location near you. Before I move on to Chipotle,
Elizabeth, another subscriber also echoed those sentiments, saying that a $1 RoastBeef
and Buffalo Sliders as well as the Snack shake
clearly made her very happy. Now for fast food hack
number four at Chipotle, I did mention in prior videos that if you mix your
proteins need to get more and that's based on the
measurement of their spoon. I won't go into that right now but you're welcome to look
back at my prior videos. Or subscribe and turn
your notifications on for more insight like this
delivered on a regular basis. But the burrito bowl at Chipotle is the better way to
go in almost all cases, not just because of the freebies but because the portion is in fact larger. If you're not ordering a burrito bowl you are missing out on freebies. You can still get that
burrito that you crave but for a virtually identical price, you get a much larger
portion plus the freebies. So order the burrito bowl
at the exact same price as the burrito, asks for a
tortilla on the side it's free. Also free, pinto beans. Extra rice is free. Black beans is free. And Fajita vegetables, also free. The salad dressing is also free, and depending on how hungry you are or who you're at Chipotle with,
you can get a burrito bowl that someone could eat as a salad. And then you also you'll get your burrito And that is a lot of bang for your buck. Before I tackle free
beverages at Starbucks where you really need to have no shame as well as the free fries at McDonald's, fast food hack number five
is tied to the Big Mac. And guys, please feel
free to leave me comment. Clearly I read them. I'd love to do a video in the future of all of your fast food hacks as the full video, that'd be really cool. The Big Mac sometimes comes at a price that we don't wanna pay. And in my particular region right now at the time I'm uploading this video a Big Mac is four bucks. But where you guys might not be aware is you can reconstruct the Big Mac plus get a benefit of better
cheese for roughly a $1.39. At the time I'm uploading this video a McDouble costs $1 and 39 cents. So on the patient's level
of the person serving you at McDonald's do the following; rather than paying for a Big Mac, order a McDouble with Big Mac sauce. Some locations will charge you for the Big Mac sauce, others won't but this will still work
out to your advantage. Then add lettuce, remove
the mustard and ketchup which is easy to do from a kiosk. And at this point, you're
on your way to a Big Mac without the middle bun or Sesame seeds, which in my opinion does
not make a huge difference. But with this modification you are not only paying half
price, but you will get a slice of American Cheese placed
between the two patties. So it becomes gooey, extra soft. And in my opinion is a taste
advantage at a lower price. Now, this does require
a little bit of patience but every time I see a dollar 39 or if they charge me for the
Big Mac sauce, a dollar 69 that's still better than
$4 and I like the cheese. For fast food hack number six, a way to stick it to Starbucks. If you feel like their
beverages require you to take a second mortgage
out on your home, no need to overpay. This is how you get a free drink and actually discover new
drinks in the process. I actually presented this fast food hack on Network Television last
week, and I was made fun of, but I'm hoping that the
subscribers and viewers of this channel hold me
to a much lower standard. During rush hour, visit the
Starbucks of your choice in your community that you think receives the highest level of traffic. This works almost every time,
but it will vary by location. Go into the Starbucks and ask the barista at the end of the counter,
not the one taking the orders but the people preparing the drinks if they have any unclaimed beverages. almost every single time, there are two to three beverages that are unclaimed just sitting there. So why are there so many unclaimed drinks? Well, as a local barista explained to me, sometimes there's a
breakdown in communication between the person ordering and
the person making the drink, that extra drink that
was prepared incorrectly just sits there. And at other times when people are groggy or a hungover and they're
using the Starbucks app they send their beverage order of choice to the wrong location and they
end up in another location while their drink just sits there. So go in, ask if they
have an unclaimed drink, with no shame grab whatever
it is that you want. And if you wanna make this an even better less self-serving gesture,
if you are in a Starbucks ordering or overpaying for a drink, grab any of the unclaimed beverages you can often give them to homeless people outside that particular location. Before I get to a Pizza Hut price hack as well as those free
French fries at McDonald's, fast food hack number
seven, know those random fake fast food holidays,
like the back of your hand. And you'll be able to score
freebies throughout the year. Now, the more obvious of the significantly
strange fast food holidays like Pie Day, March 14th, 3.14 scores you free pizza almost everywhere. But did you know on April 27th,
it's National Prime Rib Day, I've taken it vantage of
this on some date nights. Not that those dates went that well. And I'm really happy that
my wife has married me based on the experience she had with that. But you can score free,
heavily discounted prime rib at a steakhouse or a stick
chain of your choice. I have used that. But for free pancakes, National Hoagie Day all sorts of random things tied to shrimp. I will include a list of this free fast food national calendar. It's in the video description box. Before I discuss those free French fries let's discuss fast food hack number eight. Like I clearly you need
to show you eight fingers on my hand, you can tell I spent a lot of time with my toddler. If you were at Pizza Hut and you want to order a
pizza with extra cheese that always activates
an additional charge. My suggestion to you guys is
pay attention to the specials. You can add the extra cheese,
get the additional toppings and then take advantage of this advice from a subscriber that did
not love my last video. This individual mentioned that my last video did
not have enough hacks in this person's opinion. So I will reference
that if you are looking for the best bang for your buck on a pizza pay attention to the
specials at Pizza Hut. You can include a pepperoni
or a Cheese Lovers pizza which all include the extra cheese. Plus you can modify the toppings, and you stay within that $10 threshold which I think is a great piece of advice. This advice applies to
Pizza Hut specifically. In my last video, I mentioned that at Domino's it's
a little bit different. You're actually better instead of ordering a Hawaiian Pizza to just order a regular two topping pizza, and then adding the pineapple in the ham the extra additions I'll a cart costs significantly less at Domino's versus ordering each of those specials. But of course, this is about Pizza Hut. I already talked about Domino's. Pizza Hut typically offers the $10 any deal at least three or four times over the course of a month. And if that's not available the specialty pizzas that they
pre-select offered for $10 are still a fantastic grab. So now, for free French fries. You can get a free medium
order of French fries between now and June 27, 2021 if you download the McDonald's app. If you're downloading the McDonald's app as a first-time user you'll actually get an initial
free, large order of fries. And then on top of that you'll score the medium
French fries every Friday. All you need to do on
Fridays is just order at least $1 worth of food excluding tax using the McDonald's app, and then move to the top of the app and select the Free Fries Friday deal. Then top deal to mobile order, pay for your order using your credit card and then pick it up at
your local McDonald's. And every Friday that medium
French fries will be free and you can think of me as
well as that weird twitch almost winked that I just gave you which hopefully won't help
you lose your appetite. Now, speaking of freebies,
it's fast food hack number 10. And then after this, I'm gonna
move to a couple of bonuses tied to both Burger King and Wendy's. When we are confronted with the question, do you need your receipt? Many of us say, no. Obviously there's an environmental benefit if we don't have the
receipt printed for us but there is a financial benefit at most fast food locations. If you are not yet aware on
the back of these receipts there's often a coupon code. Sometimes there's a survey on
the front and that could lead to significantly more free fast food for you moving forward. If you ordered from Popeye's
in the last six months and requested a receipt, chances are you are confronted with a
free two-piece chicken offer if you ordered a drink on
the side for your next order. In other cases, surveys
by simply completing them will get you a buy one get one or a completely free
item on your next order. So my advice, take the receipt. Fast food hack bonus number
one is tied to Burger King. And by the way, guys
in the comment section, please let me know who do you
think has the best burgers? Burger King was in the
lead last time I checked but there's many people including my wife that cannot live without a Big Mac, and you have my full support. plus there's Wendy's, oh my goodness. We'll talk about Wendy's in a moment. But the lesser known and
two for $6 menu items at Burger King or a phenomenon
and I am gonna discuss some other options in a moment but I wanna thank this subscriber, Lisa, who was actually not happy that I didn't mentioned the
two for $6 menu at Burger King which includes the Impossible Whopper. But if you buy two of them you can get them both for $5 and 99 cents. And she did mention that in
a comment that she posted on my last video and thank you for that. But I will add there are other offerings in some of the most aggressive ones coming from Burger King
that include $4 and 99 cent for two original chicken
sandwiches and two small fries. This has been running for quite some time. You would know about it from
the Burger King Facebook page or the app. And some of these items
are not even publicized within local stores. So do keep in mind that social media, sometimes is your best friend, when it comes to savings
that fast it's food. For a fast food hack bonus number two, it's a bit of a double whammy at Wendy's. You don't just need to use their app. There's actually a rewards program. But bear with me for a moment. Wendy's has one of the
most aggressive apps plus the rewards program which makes it a little bit confusing but just this past February you could have had a free
burger every single week. To take advantage of the Wendy's offers, you need to sign up through
the Wendy's mobile app and then you also need to register and join their reward program. Many of the Wendy's
offers also require you to physically scan something at the store. But let me just show you my screen as a new user for the Wendy's app. This is what I was presented with when I logged in as a brand new user. A free breakfast sandwich with a purchase, $3 off 15 as an order, $2 off any breakfast premium combo. I know you guys can read but I got excited with the free pub fries, the free junior bacon cheeseburger, a buck for large fries. And then there's the
free small frosty Chino. I've never had one of those,
but I imagine it has caffeine. And I'm wondering if you guys can imagine just how much more annoying
I am after I have caffeine, I would probably lose subscribers
rather than gain them. But if you guys liked this content, I really appreciate you watching it. I appreciate you making it
this far into the video. Please give this video a thumbs up. If you guys subscribe and
turn your notifications on I promise I've got more
insider store secrets. I've got hacks for all
of the major retailers as well as more fast
food insight to share. And if you wanna join my
Insider Deal Guide texting club you're welcome to just drop me a line, send me a text, 440-298-2181 is my number. (440) 298-2181. Thank you so much for watching. Stay safe. Okay, bye bye. That wasn't awkward.
