with the release of the new model 3 Performance Tesla has completed the upgraded model 3 line and customers now have all the options and as a model 3 owner for almost 3 years and another one on the way I've been able to compile a list of 10 reasons why you should purchase a model 3 here in 2024 reason one the refresh is already here if you are someone that likes to have the latest and greatest well it's available right now not to mention the refresh has brought a ton upgrades and improvements front and rear facelifts a massive interior redesign featuring ambient lighting smaller vessels on the main screen and entirely new rear screen updated seats that now include Cooling and not to mention Comfort cabin noise the list just goes on and on in fact the refresh has been such a major upgrade that it has caused the Osborne effect on pretty much the entirety of Tesla's lineup excluding the Cyber truck the Osborne effect if you don't know being a social phenomenon of customers canceling or deferring orders for the current soon Tobe obsolete product as an unexpected drawback of a company announcing a future product prematurely like have you seen how many model y are just sitting in Lots they're still selling but it's only because Tesla is giving out crazy discounts just to get people to buy them it's even trickled into the snx as I know many people myself included that are in the market for one but where is the interior lighting or the front bumper camera we know these things are coming as they're available ailable on other Tesla vehicles reason number two the price the model 3 starts at $ 38990 for the rear wheel drive 47 740 for the long range and 53 990 for the performance this actually makes getting into a model 3 cheaper than its competitors like the 330i and an Audi of similar stats the r Drive is the cheapest Tesla that you can get into assuming that you don't qualify for the tax credit on a Model y speaking of the tax credit if you're curious as to why why the model 3 doesn't qualify well it's because on the base or RI drive and long range the batteries do not meet specifications so they just sadly don't qualify now they may qualify on the state side but I have no idea as my state has zero incentives so I haven't spent too much time looking into it but I do know places like Colorado have a $5,000 credit and Washington just announced a crazy $9,000 credit however the performance model 3 which was just announced actually does qualify for the tax credit and if you're sitting there doing the math and thinking wait does this mean it's cheaper to buy a performance over a long range yes assuming that you qualify it is cheaper the model 3 Performance at sub $47,000 is literally the best price to performance on the market hands down it will eat any gas car near that price alive in download performance I'm telling you right now you are going to see model 3 Performance is everywhere very soon it's kind of crazy to think that 2 years ago model 3s were going for north of $60,000 now a little bonus reason to get a model 3 all the accessories and yes test stuff is now offering our most popular accessories for the refreshed model 3 so three maintenance or the lack thereof when I tell you I'm going on 2 years with my current model 3 and all I've done is rotate the tires I'm not exaggerating and while yes this is more of an EV in general thing and not a model 3 specific thing it's still a thing now don't think that there is absolutely zero maintenance as there is some at you know the two four and six-year Mark but it's Pennies on the dollar compared to gas car maintenance and it's not like it's an EV specific maintenance either it's normal stuff that you have to do on a gas car you know like cleaning and lubricating your brake calipers or replacing your cabin air filter reason number four versatility which I was debating on including as it's not a model y with a ton of space or the ability to get a tow hook but in terms of the model 3 just being a fantastic allround ER yeah I would say it's pretty versatile let's take a look at the long range for example almost 350 Mi of range and a 0 to 60 in the low fours with maybe the potential to get acceleration boost like you could on the previous genin to put the 0 to 60 in the mid 3s hopefully it becomes available eventually storage size is also pretty good for this size of sedan as you have 3.1 cubic feet in the front trunk with an additional 21 cubic feet in the trunk you can further double that 21 to over 40 if you fold the seats down now if you're willing to take a slight hit to range in favor of performance well then you can get the performance model you still get almost 300 Mi of range and the great cargo space that I just mentioned but now with superar level launches at sub 3 seconds now reason number five to buy a model 3 in 2024 honestly this is half the reason to buy a Tesla in general the supercharger Network and while I do understand it's come under Fire recently with the team in charge of expansion being let go what we currently have is still miles ahead of everyone and everything else there are still over 50,000 superchargers worldwide and their up time is second to none I've always been able to charge every time I show up within a reasonable amount of time and yes the supercharger network is opening up to other vehicle manufacturers but you still get the best experience just owning a Tesla like the car will Auto rout you to the charger if it sees you need a charge to make it while at the same time showing how many stalls are available any that might be down the wait time if there is one pictures of the charger to better help you find them along with nearby amenities that you can actually click on to see now the next reason also has to do with charging but it's something that you'll be doing every day and not just on road trips home charging if you've been a viewer of the channel in the past then you know how much I Rave about home charging and how it's one of the best reasons to own a Tesla or any EV no more having to stop on your way home from work or leave a little early in the morning before work to get gas you wake up every day with a full charge and you just never have to think about it it's kind of like your phone you don't really think about charging you kind of just plug it in before you go to sleep plus the price it cost me less than $5 to fully charge up at home shout out Kentucky Cole whereas gas my area is 350 to 4 bucks just for a single gallon that would only get even the most efficient hybrids 50 Mi tops and I'm going over 200 yeah home charging it's great now reason number seven to purchase a model 3 here in 2024 we just talked about it saving your wallet but what about it saving your life or your family's life the safety rating five stars across the board one of the safest vehicles on the road Tesla has recently started advertising this safety rating but for the longest time they never did the car just had so much else going for it that the safety rating was just a bonus if you've never read up on how safe Teslas actually are I'd recommend it but some key points of the model 3 are crumple zones for the front and rear a fortified battery pack and because of that big and heavy fortified battery pack down low the rollover risk is just 6.6% which is stupidly low for this type of sedan also not to mention all the software stuff like the car being able to detect the area of impact and respond accordingly I'd really recommend you look into just how safe the model 3 is now the next reason to purchase a model 3 and this really goes for any Tesla security let's be honest all aftermarket dash cams suck thankfully the one in your Tesla is an aftermarket it's stock four cameras six if you count the two B pillar cameras that you can see in the live view Sentry mode all going at the same time 24/7 giving you a 360° view all around the car it's 2024 you shouldn't be driving around without being able to provide video proof of something should the need arise I have seen so many posts and threads people praising the Tesla cam because it proved the other party was just full of it and unlike some other manufacturers that make you pay a monthly subscription for it it's free to use and you have physical access to your recordings via the USB stick it's actually kind of funny when people that don't really know anything about Teslas get in my car I'll pull up a sentury mode event that might have happened and they look at it and they ask me where I got my dash cams at and then I tell them that they can get the same thing for the low price of just buying a Tesla all right so reason number nine the driving and not driving there is a reason why Tesla just let you take the car and go have fun on your own during the demo drives butts and seats sell these cars I always tell people do not test drive unless you're ready to buy it's really hard to describe the appeal of driving a model 3 it just goes no changing gears instant torque the best handling out of any Tesla it is fantastic Lane changes or merges at highway speeds just feel safer because of how easily you can insert yourself into where you need to be not to mention the acceleration from a dig Rivals that of supercars and the one pedal driving will have you wondering how or why gas cars hadn't found some way to implement this years ago yes I know it has to do with the region and everything but I'm still wondering on how gas cars just didn't find some way to actually implement it because it's so good as for not driving well autopilot is pretty amazing and takes the stress off of long road trips and bumper-to-bumper traffic yes other manufacturers have started coming out with their own versions of Lane assist but I would still rank autopilot at the top it doesn't require you to be on a pre-mapped road or only during the day or under 40 mph as long as it can see lines on the road then it'll work and for anyone that's new to Tesla I'm not referring to the $8,000 paid full self-driving upgrade that is something else entirely auto pilot is free with every Tesla and will keep you centered in your lane speeding up and slowing down according to traffic in front of and around you full self-driving can also be purchased after the fact and or as a subscription per month for $99 so there's really no point to purchase it at the time of getting your model 3 just wait and see if autopilot is enough for you and then the 10th and final reason to purchase a model 3 the interior first up is the crazy amount of visibility which I don't think gets enough praise I've said this in past videos but any other car now I feel like my eyes are half shut when I'm trying to look out like it feels like I'm squinting with how small the windshield is and there's no sunlight coming from the top so everything just feels super dark yeah visibility is just great and secondly it's just super minimalistic which I know some people are not a fan of and I get it but I personally for my daily really enjoy not having buttons knobs and dials everywhere if we're talking a weeken fun gas car then yeah buttons knobs all that feels right I guess just EVS have become synonymous with big screens no buttons or dials as for the rest of the Interior well you now have all the new stuff that came with the refresh so smaller bezels on the screen which make it look a ton better ambient lighting cold and heated seats rear screens no stocks which for the gear selector is fine but turn signals when turning the wheel is kind of annoying better sound system and the long- range performance it's just a massive Improvement the new refreshed model 3 currently has in my opinion the best interior out of the entire Tesla lineup it just makes the SX and Y feel outdated and well you have cybertruck but that's kind of it own thing and I would say that's up there with the
