- These are 10 new things you should be buying at
Costco this September 2022. And there's a huge selection of fantastic new finds for every area of your home. In the first spot,
flying off store shelves with the velocity I have not
seen outside of Black Friday, these Pendleton Sherpa blankets, which are available in queen
size for 28 or king for 33 were nearly impossible to film since so many shoppers
were trying to grab these and add them to their shopping cart. I can tell you this extremely soft Sherpa delivers that perfect amount of warmth for a cold winter or fall night. If that colder weather takes
its toll on your limbs, your back neck, or shoulders, the Sharper Image power
percussion massager you see right here for 50 bucks was something that I
wanted to buy and try. I guess it was a little bit nostalgic. I remember when I was a teenager, I used to sample the
Sharper Image massage chairs in the mall and never buy anything. So this time I did, it's 50 bucks. I like the compact size
and it is effective. For point number two, this two pack of superfast
USB-C smartphone chargers for 35 bucks is great for travel or any situation where
you are limited on time and you need to recharge
your phones quickly. These work much faster than
any traditional charger thanks to the higher wattage, which will be compatible with most recent iPhone or Android devices that can register a quick charge. Samsung Galaxy smartwatches are $80 off and a much more affordable
alternative to the Apple Watch. This specific model is the
44 millimeter black at $200, and this is a 2021 release. The Samsung deals also continue with this 10.4 inch Samsung
Galaxy S6 LIte tab for 280, which reflects a $100 price drop. And compared to Amazon sale
price for the same thing. At Costco, you also score a free case and Costco's much better warranty. At $100 off, the Dyson V11
$550 vacuum you see right here is also at $100 off. You will find the Dyson V11 vacuum at 550. This is still out of my price range, but anyone that owns a Dyson swears by it and this is the lowest price I have seen since Black Friday of last year. As a comparison, Best
Buy sells this for 700 versus Costco's 550. In the number three spot,
this Blink five camera security system with
yard sign is 220 bucks. And for this price, you
score four outdoor cameras, one indoor camera and the sign which on its own is a
type of theft deterrent. This price is excellent compared to Amazon's nearest equivalent
bundle for 500 bucks. Where although you do get one more outdoor camera from Amazon, you don't get the sign. This is not apples to apples, but Costco still has the better price assuming you want four cameras. If you are looking for a non
Amazon own security brand, this Feit floodlight camera
with motion sensors 130 bucks. And it gives you the benefit
of no subscription fees. I love the two bright LEDs that you see right here which you can adjust to
cover different directions of your home or property. And if you just want a floodlight minus the security camera, the Koda motion activated
security floodlight you see right here is $45. It has three extremely bright
LEDs with motion detection and an auto daytime sensor. For point four, this new 16
count of drumsticks in a box is 10.89 and a wonderful new thing to see because Costco usually
offers variety packs that include drumsticks but not an entire pack of just drumsticks, which are always the best
part as far as I'm concerned. I consumed the caramel one and seconds from the back of my car. And then I FaceTimed my wife
after I finished shooting to let her know that dad
has bringing home the goods. Speaking of goods, the 12
count stroopwafel ice creams you see right here are back also at 12.89. And to determine if they
were as good as I remember, I followed up my drumstick
dessert with this. And yes, it is as good as I remember and I am thrilled to see these back. If you love Starbucks hot chocolates, but not the cost associated with it, you can now make it in bulk on your own. The 30 ounce container of Starbucks hot cocoa mix right here is 10.89. And if you're not a fan
of Starbucks hot chocolate or you just prefer the Swiss Miss brand, this 50 count box of Swiss
Miss chocolate packets is $8. And since our last two desserts
were technically beverages, I felt as though I did
not try enough dessert goodness from the trunk of my car, so I bought myself one of my favorite always available Costco desserts. And I savored the greatness
of this churro for 1.49, just to round out point four. And the number five spot, this $80 10-cup Cuisinart popcorn maker is back in stock from last year. And surprisingly enough the
price is the same in 2022 as it was in 2021. This could be a fun grab to really elevate a family movie night with the retro look and I love its capability to produce so much popcorn on the spot. This 20-jar prefilled
spice rack for 40 bucks includes five years of refills and this is one of those
gifts that keep on giving. This would be a lovely
housewarming present. Professional grade pastry
and baking mats for 20 bucks that include measurement conversions and a quick reference
guide for a beginner baker, or even a more experienced chef are a nice fine this September. This four pack of stoneware
serve bowls for 16 bucks have this nice exterior texture to it. This would be wonderful
for salads or soups, even dips and chips or
serving up the baked goods you made with that professional baking mat from a moment ago. This two-piece serving set for 25 bucks would be great to host your
guests around Thanksgiving. And to provide some nice versatility the first tray is compartmentalized to handle all sorts of dips or snacks. And the second tray sports a more traditional design with no divots. As the excitement intensifies, it's the number six spot. Christmas is in full force and in a moment I'll tell you what not to buy at Costco right now. But first, the holiday wagon
with LED lights for 60 bucks is beautiful for a home
entryway or for a covered deck. A set of two holiday reindeer are available for 50 bucks and they're a modern take on
a more traditional element. Great for anyone who's a big
fan of geometric patterns. This snowy holiday village with lights and music for 100 bucks is definitely a higher price, but look at how intricate and illuminated this conversation pieces
with the way it's moving. I should mention none of
these products are sponsored. Costco is not paying
me to make this video, but I love this thing. This is the type of product you would see at the center
of a Christmas store. It's so festive. If you want a handcrafted nativity set, the Kirkland Signature collection you see right here for 115 bucks is even more beautiful in person and it looks and feels very high end. Also, a very high quality this seven-foot bow tied lamppost with LED lights for $120. Functions both indoor or out. It incorporates 150 LED
lights if you have the budget, and I think this looks more expensive than it actually is. Speaking of expense, I would not buy any Christmas
trees at Costco right now, the prices are nuts. They range from 500 to $1,200. And all of the Christmas tree
prices you see right here will be reduced in a matter
of weeks if you can hold off. Now on to something you should buy the six count of oversized shatter resistant ornaments
right here for 20 bucks are actually larger than they appear from what you're seeing
captured on smartphone video and they include some
beautiful design elements. The Lindt holiday advent
calendar is in stock and it sells out very quickly every year. It's got a bit of a hefty
price attached to it for 17.89, but you do get some
nicely sized chocolates. And if you're a family
that loves chocolate, this is usually a crowd pleaser. Unfortunately for my two kids, we are sticking with the
99 cent advent calendars we buy every year from Trader Joe's. Also, large and in charge and I can't believe it's time already, but Costco's four pack
of holiday vintage soaps are back in stock at $12. These are a best seller every year. We like to buy some now
to enjoy over the season and then more on clearance when their prices get slashed
much closer to Christmas. Before I surprise even
myself, it's point seven. This Kirkland brisket mac and cheese at 16.49 is brand new, and you get two and a half
pounds for that price. This is something I also
wanted to buy and try. And after bringing this home and getting to spend some time with it over dinner, I immediately fell in love. Kind of like what happened
when I met my wife Daria, although I don't necessarily mean to compare my wife to brisket. The jumbo pumpkins you see
right here are seven bucks. These are great decor pieces and splendid for carving. Something I rarely see at Costco for Halloween is now available, it's a two pack of mini
pumpkins for five bucks. These are for decorating or
for baking according to Costco. Chicken pot pie has returned for the season at $5 per pound. This is made with Costco's
rotisserie chicken and I am thrilled that this is back, as this remains one of my
personal holiday favorites. As another signal, the cold weather is on the way for many of you depending upon where you live. Chicken noodle soup is back and also made with Costco's
signature rotisserie chicken at 3.49 per pound. Beef chili also back at 3.49 per pound. Shepherd's pie is also
back at 3.79 per pound. And these are very authentic
according to my uncle Richard, who actually isn't always correct when it comes to his food comments. A 16 pack of crispy chicken
shredded tacos for 14 bucks would be wonderful for a
family of four for dinner or for some seriously good
after school snacking. And finally, before I get to
some crazy winter jacket deals, Anchovy Broth Tablets are now being sold at my local Costco for 13.59. I was a bit confused by these. If you are a fan of anchovies, can you please explain
to me in the comments, how you incorporate
this into your cooking? It's now time for point eight. Men's wind resistant jackets are 33 bucks. These are from the brand Hurley, which I've had some good experience with. Available in khaki, black, or blue. These can be a lifesaver. If you live in a region, particularly plagued with high winds. From another big brand, these Eddie Bauer women's jackets are just $13, they're plush. These might be better for those of you with a more mild winter
of which I'm very jealous, but they are a nice design and an outstanding price. From another big brand, I
recognize thanks to my wife, this six pack of Lucky Brand boots socks right here are 10 bucks. And also at $10 and great
for staying warm this season, these neck warmers come in a two pack They're wonderful so you have one on hand and then a spare, or you can gift this to a significant other if you want them to stay warm this winter. For yard work dog walking or other late night expeditions where you want the warmth
and a bright light, the two pack of beanies,
you see right here, with built in rechargeable LEDs available for 30 bucks,
and again you get two. Also, wonderful for warmth
or for covering your face during a bank heist, this balaclava two pack is $20. And again, I'm joking
about robbing a bank, but if this balaclava doesn't remind you of some thriller action movie. Costco is selling the
seasonal bad boy balaclavas, very close to a 100 pack of disposable black gloves for 15 bucks. So of course I made a bunch of cop and Robert dad
jokes as I walked by, which I'll spare you
from in today's video. Before I get to a very
intense bonus section for my next point, for traction and added safety, the Snow Trax winter traction devices which you attach to the
bottom of your shoe, for 13 bucks is something
that I wish I got my mom who slipped down her stairs
a couple of years ago and broke her arm in the winter. She has recovered, but I am nervous about anyone else in my family slipping. So these are a must buy. For recreational snow enjoyment, snowshoe kits which include
the poles and shoes are $80. And these are very different from those wooden snow shoes that many of us grew up playing with. To protect your windshield from high snow or ice accumulation, this polar extreme
windshield cover for $18 is similar to what I
bought several years ago. And this makes a huge difference cutting down on winter
cleanup time for your car. It attaches through your door and can be easily
removed after a snowfall. It's ideal if you don't park in a garage. This two pack of 25-foot
heavy duty extension cords for $33 has an LED indicator on it. Phenomenal for Christmas lights, snowblowers or any other
outdoor power needs. Also, new this month at Costco, there are two sled options, there's a 48 inch snowboard
type sled for $23. This is a good grab. If you live in a wintry
Wonderland come December. There's also a thinner version, which is a little bit longer at 50 inches for the same price $23. In the next spot, illumination takes center
stage for this point. And the OVE brand,
which is likely familiar to many Costco shoppers, has some nice lighting options for your home this September. If you're in the market
for a ceiling light, this two light ceiling fixture you see right here for 100 bucks could add some brightness
or perhaps character to a different room of your home. And I think this could pair beautifully with a three light vanity fixture. If you are interested in
this, it's also 100 bucks. If you are really into
that farmhouse style, which I'm gravitating toward
today for some reason, this five light farmhouse
chandelier is $200 and this is a very assertive
decorative fixture. From LED light to
something more old school, the four pack of luxury
candles you see right here could provide some nice scented ambient lighting for $20. This four pack includes
the following fragrances, chai, vanilla ocean, and mandarin apple, which smells so good. I feel like this should be a product I can eat from the trunk of
my car, hopefully one day. And finally to extend that
luxury on a dime theme for a moment before the bonus section, this Brookstone heated throw for 33 bucks is something I bought
from my mom last year and she enjoyed it so much. She would like you all to
know it's available this year. Thank you Rhonda. If you've made it this far into the video, you're getting a bonus. I love you, thank you. And now the bonus section. Battery app controlled
heated wool socks are $90. Yep, that's right smart socks. What has the world come to, and that's why I am
including these as a bonus. They are a potentially practical product because they are heated socks. And while the app that you can control the temperature with is very neat. At $90, I think this is a bit overkill, but I am including it
because it's interesting. And you get 10 hours of
sock heat per charge. With no segue whatsoever
to the next product, which is always the fun
part of a bonus section, this stainless steel cat drinking fountain with mat is 27.69. It has a nice design, and I love that the mat also contains a built-in food bowl. Back in stock and very popular, if you're a big fan of jam or jelly, this 12 days of Christmas
jam advent calendar for 14 bucks is random
in all the right ways. This calendar makes me happy and I don't fully understand why. And that's a wrap on
Costco this September. Thanks for watching, I love you. Bye bye.
