newspapers agreed to bury two time capsules identical in every detail near Osaka Castle the lower capsule would remain buried for 5,000 years the main container was filled with argon to protect the contents of the capsule the upper capsule was to be opened for the first time in 2000 and every 100 years thereafter in order to see whether it has preserved in a good condition the time capsules contain 2098 items that have been specially selected as cultural artifacts if the time capsules survive until 69 70 AD like they're supposed to our distant descendants will find a vast collection of movies seeds and bacteria as well as a glass eye and black nails of people who survived an atomic explosion in Hiroshima in 1945 a really unsettling message a message from psychiatrists in 2015 the construction crew in Indiana USA was shocked to find a time capsule from 1958 left by the psychiatrists at a former mental hospital the capsule contained a film recorded by the doctors the specialists at the last century discussed the promises of the electroshock therapy and the ways to treat psychosis with insulin shock frustratingly much of these six-minute audio from the film has been lost and we have no way of knowing what the doctors had to say maybe they were trying to warn us about something or perhaps they use something we don't know up to this day we haven't figured out the names of the doctors who were featured in the film in 1958 a disturbing jar in 2016 a reddit user from Costa Rica dug up a weird sealed metal jar in his backyard what was inside though perhaps money or was it some sort of a time capsule but the finding turned out to be quite disturbing the jar was filled with thick dark liquid with a sickly sweet smell suspended in this strange liquid there was an old photo of some people the man who discovered the jar got scared he decided the jar was an act of witchcraft soon the landlady told a man that it was in fact a photo of the woman who used to live there 15 years ago he believed that she was the target of the curse the landlady urged the man to burn the jars contents without hesitation and she seemed to be relieved after he did so a time capsule in out the nearest buildings were evacuated one wrong move and the bomb could go off but they soon discovered that this bomb wasn't filled with explosives and poses no danger at all it was actually a time capsule it was originally buried more than 30 years ago by the owners of the legendary dance Terrier nightclub John Argento the old owner of the explain that he purchased the bomb from an army surplus store in New York and filled it with mementos from the club guests and buried it in front of the club a mysterious tool when the Church in Jonesboro Arkansas opened its mysterious time capsule from the 1920s there were some of the usual stuff several coins a couple of old newspapers and some weird double fork thing with an unclear purpose the local newspapers quickly called it some sort of tool nobody could identify and that's only added to the mystery seriously what is the purpose of that thing an old treasure this imager user was invited over to his grandmother's house to help her tidy up he was supposed to clean the mess in the ceramics room and get rid of some stuff being a good lad he was willing to help but he never imagined what he would find there he discovered an old cupboard blocked by many cardboard boxes the cupboard itself was empty but it had a false bottom when the young man investigated further he found the false bottom of the cupboard concealed a safe the grandmother didn't know the combination to open it so they took it outside and pried it open with a chisel the contents were unexpected pieces of paper a silk bag and a message that read abandon all regret ye who enter here enough to send chills down your spine when they open the silk bag it became clear that it was a real time capsule it contained a bundle of stamps rare coins a World War one medal and the photos of his great-grandfather Peter Pan's brothers the granny's message didn't seem grim enough well we have another story for you then in 2010 some unidentified American woman discovered a big trunk in the basements of her apartment building in Los Angeles the trunk looks like it was at least AC years old at first the woman was excited because she thought the trunk could contain some valuables but as soon as she opened it her joy turned into horror in size there were newspapers and other belongings of that decade several Peter Pan books a Peter Pan fan club membership card and a couple of Peter Pan related memorabilia sounds like a usual kids - right yeah for the exception of corpses of babies wrapped in sheets the only clothes that the baby's identity was the name JM Barrie on the trunk slit which sounds a lot like James M Barrie these Scottish author of Peter Pan the discovery made headlines across the world the police even ran the DNA test however the creator of Peter Pan had been cleared of any link to the corpses so the origin of the dead brothers of Peter Pan still remain a mystery the locks apartment when it comes to time capsules we usually imagine a times and the personal touch of master de Florian it seems as if time itself had stopped here one could see a stunning dressing table with old glass bottles of some ancient perfume combs and jewelry boxes they were utensils on the dining table the apartment and all of the assets were evaluated by a famous auctioneer turns out the most valuable thing in the apartment was the painting a portrait of a woman in a pale pink muslin dress later it was discovered that it's a portrait of Marta - Florian herself painted by an italian artist giovanni Baldini love letters written by the artists were also found in her bedroom vanity the painting was sold as an auction for 3.4 million dollars a letter from a ghost in 2016 demolition crews in Albuquerque New Mexico discovered a time capsule from 1968 a glass bottle contain letters written by the kids from the elementary school it's actually a common practice in schools when kids share their vision about the future or their choice but some kid named Greg Lee Youngman wrote a pretty creepy message I am dead I go to Montgomery school that is the olden school name I was born in 1900 you ought to know I'm dead my favorite subject is spooking the
