10 MC Command Center Features You DIDN'T Know About | The Sims 4 Mods

hello and welcome to my channel my name is savannah and today i'll be showing you guys 10 features of mc command center that i feel are quite underrated not a lot of people either know about or use without further ado let's just jump right into the list so this first feature is in money settings you have to click on a computer and then you go to mc command center and mcc settings and money settings the first one this is my favorite feature that i feel is quite underrated and that is child support so you click on pay child support and it is automatically set to none your sim has a baby with a sim that they are not married to and does not live in the household they will receive child support checks every week additionally you can choose the child support percent i have no 10 because one time i had it like 25 percent and my sim oh child support and they went broke the second feature on the list is also in money settings and it is inheritances so inheritance sim type i have it for all basically so any sim that dies their money will go to their living children however i have it set to inheritance to spouse first meaning in my game when a sim dies it'll go to their spouse first and then their kids once the spouse dies the fourth thing i'd like to show you guys is mc tuner so you could scan for autonomous things so pretty much autonomous actions and so say there's a specific action that you don't want yourself to autonomous autonomously do then you can scroll through and click one what i usually do is it's not going to appear right here but for example i have it so that children i always turn off autonomous like make a mess because it gets so annoying so if you have a child sim and you want them to stop making a mess every five minutes you can do a trade autonomy scan and make a mess will appear for number five this is also part of mc tuner however it is on the computer so if you go to a change interaction behavior you can allow children to take care of babies and you can allow or disallow monster underneath the bed you can allow multiple bffs we could disable witness deaths to say your sam is out and about and some random stem dies they're not going to burst into tears and be sad for two days um you could have a friendly ask of singles so it's not always going to be a romantic interaction and you can also stop sims from randomly flirting with other sims if you click on change interaction autonomy you can allow or disallow various things disallow autonomous cleaning gardening uh disallow autonomous flirty interactions you can allow autonomous proposals that is a cool thing so if you want autonomous proposals i don't have that enabled and i'm kind of confused as to why i don't but i'm actually going to enable that because i really like that you could disallow or allow me interactions mischief etc etc this next action is on the computer as well so you go to mcc settings then you go to a game play settings and you go to game time speed so you can adjust the speed that time when the game goes by so the default value is 25 milliseconds real-time milliseconds for every sim second so if you reduce it the days will go by much faster if you want the decays to go by a bit slower than minutes to go by bit slower you could up it to whatever you want the max is 1 000 additionally in mcc settings if you go to set age span duration for excited for cat dogs or humans and you can change how long each life state is for example a child is default to 13 days but i have it at eight because i feel like childhood is way too long and sims four i liked it in the same three when i was like a week because i don't like kids in this game but anyways i have it set to eight you could set it to up to 1000 days or a minimum of one day so if you want to adjust the lifespan and have custom lifespans for each life state you can do that in your game okay so say your sim is in a relationship with another sim and you want them to get engaged but you don't want your sim to be the one proposing you have to click on your sim or your sims partner excuse me you click on their partner go to msc command center and then you go to msc control then you click on the sim that you want them to perform an interaction with the npc sim who you want to perform interaction with your sim so i clicked on her boyfriend and then yeah i want him to perform the interaction with my sim so i click on her so you can click any of these options you could do funny friendly mean interactions obviously and this we are going to do romance interactions and it has all of these options including propose so i want her boyfriend who is an npc we cannot we're not controlling him but i can ask him to propose to my sims so now she's going to stop her in direction and he is going to propose to her i feel like this is really fun for you know um storytelling purposes so if you want your sims partner to propose to them for a certain story but you don't want to have to add them to your household to do that boom now your sin can be proposed to by their significant other however as i was doing this i noticed in order for this to work your sim can't be in the middle of a conversation with their partner so if they're in a conversation stop the conversation and then do it or else the option to click romantic interactions won't appear so make sure they're not in the middle of a conversation with their partner and it should work okay so this is the next one is a really cool one i learned about recently so you have to use the computer for it so you go down and this requires you i believe to have mc wuhu i think i'm not entirely sure but you click on mc pregnancy and then you click on offspring and now there are a couple options here so you have identical offspring chance so that's basically the percentage of a chance that multiples will be identical so if you want you know 50 of your multiples to be identical then you could increase that or decrease it or whatever you want additionally if you were to inherit trait type this determines whether babies inherit non-personality traits from their parents how many will they impair and whether they will inherit the specified maximum number of traits or a random number of traits up to the specified amount you can choose if you want your sim to inherit certain traits from their parents so if you can set the maximum amount of heritage rates so the max is 20 so right now it auto sets to 2 so that's what's at the number of non-personality traits that baby will inherit from their parents and yet you could set a bunch of other stuff maximum household children and all of that good stuff so this next option is i used to use it for storytelling purposes or say i have a legacy challenge or something like that and i want my sim siblings to have children but i don't want to actually go on my way to play them you can click on a sim and then go to mc command center of course and then you go to mc pregnancy and then you could have marked for pregnancy and market for marriage so you want your sim to get married autonomously you can mark them for marriage so that every i think a week or so emc command center automatically does a bunch of marriages so it'll marry a bunch of sense together and then i'll start a bunch of pregnancies so a bunch of sims will get pregnant so you can mark a sim to get pregnant or get married in that next cycle so if you mark for marriage then that sim will get married in the next random marriage cycle and then mark for pregnancy they'll become pregnant in the next random pregnancy cycle this is my favorite of all of these because it has saved me so much because sometimes my game just eyes to crash on me because my laptop sucks so you click on empty on a computer and you go to empty command center mcc settings and you go to auto save and i highly recommend this because it has saved me so much um and so you can click use auto save which i have enabled and then you could save interval type so i have it so that every to some day my game will it'll have a pop-up and we'll be like do you want to save and then it will auto save and when it auto saves it does not override your last save it creates a completely new save so it does not so the last time that you saved that save will still be there but now there'll be a new save for your auto save and it'll save me so if my game crashes or my laptop dies because i didn't realize i wasn't charging it i will only that max i will only lose one day worth of gameplay instead of like you know three you know real-time hours worth of gameplay so highly recommend it you can set a two some day some hour real world ever whatever that you want to do or you could have it auto save around midnight each sim day so that is my favorite thing that i highly recommend you use if you do not already so that is my list of about 11 i think it was supposed to be 10 but ended being like 11 cool features of mc
