MyTeam and all the modes like it with pack odds and stuff are gambling. But the people who use "there's a casino in the game" with clips of ball drops as an argument are misinformed and going off a poorly presented trailer.
To be fair, there is no gambling in the casino or VC involved. You win an award by playing the game and a ball drops determining what reward you get. That’s the extent of it really.
And I don’t think the authors’ of this channel understand you can earn VC? Every other example they’ve used in other games are things you are forced to purchase and hid behind a paywall which is much worse, no? And all of the things that were used as examples for 2k can be earned semi-easily in game.
