10 DISTURBING True Trucker Horror Stories

Story 1 the trucker had been driving for hours the endless stretch of highway unrolling before him like a ribbon it was late at night and the only light came from the headlights of his rig slicing through the darkness as he drove the trucker couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched he kept looking in the rear view mirror but all he saw was the empty road behind him suddenly out of the corner of his eye he saw something move on the side of the road he turned to look but there was nothing there he Shrugged it off and continued driving but the feeling of being watched only grew stronger he started to feel like something was following him keeping Pace with his truck as he drove on the trucker couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong he was about to pull over and take a break when he saw it in the headlights a figure appeared out of nowhere standing in the middle of the road the trucker slammed on the brakes but it was too late the figure was a woman her face Twisted in a grotesque snarl she was covered in blood and her eyes seemed to Glow in the darkness the trucker screamed as the the woman reached out and grabbed hold of the truck her fingers digging into the metal he fumbled with the keys trying to start the engine and get away but it was too late the woman dragged the truck off the road and into the darkness disappearing from sight the trucker was never seen again some say that the woman was a ghost haunting the highways and preying on unsuspecting Travelers others say that she was something much worse something that shouldn't be spoken of in the light of day either way the trucker's fate serves as a warning to all those who dare to travel the roads at night beware of what lurks in the darkness for you never know what you might see Story 2 it was a cold winter night and the trucker had been driving for hours he was exhausted and in need of a break so he decided to pull into a coffee shop just off the highway as he approached the parking lot he noticed that the lights were on inside but the place seemed deserted there were no other cars in the lot and no sign of Life the trucker Shrugged it off and parked his rig making his way inside as he pushed open the door 4 a bell tinkled above his head announcing his presence the inside of the coffee shop was warm and cozy but there was no one in sight the trucker called out but there was no answer he looked around trying to find someone to take his order but the place was completely empty feeling uneasy the trucker decided to leave he turned to go but the door wouldn't budge no matter how hard he pulled it seemed to be stuck Panic set in as the trucker realized that he was trapped he looked around trying to find a way out but there was none just as he was about to give up hope he heard a faint noise coming from the back of the shop it sounded like someone was moving around but he couldn't be sure the trucker crept towards the sound his heart pounding in his chest as he rounded the corner he saw something that made him freeze in Terror there in the back of the shop was a group of people huddled together they were all pale and gaunt their eyes glowing with another worldly light the trucker realized with horror that they were all dead their bodies preserved in some unknown way he turned to run but it was too late the dead reached out their fingers grasping at his arms and legs pulling him into the darkness the trucker screamed as he was dragged down disappearing into the Shadows forever Story 3 the trucker had been on the road for days his rig rumbling down the highway as he made his way home he was tired and looking forward to a hot meal and a good night's sleep in his own bed as he drove he saw a figure standing on the side of the road thumb outstretched it was a young man shivering in the cold and looking desperate feeling sorry for the kid the trucker pulled over and offered him a ride the man climbed into the cab grateful for the warmth in the company they drove in silence for a while the only sound the rumble of the engine and the hum of the tires on the road the trucker started to relax the tension of the long drive melting away but as they approached the trucker's exit he noticed something strange about The Hitchhiker the Man's eyes seemed to Glow in the darkness and his skin was icy cold to the touch the trucker started to feel uneasy a sense of dread creeping over him he tried to Shake it Off telling himself he was just tired and imagining things but as they reached the exit The Hitchhiker Suddenly lunged at him his eyes glowing with another worldly light the trucker screamed as he was dragged from the cab disappearing into the darkness when the truck was found the next day it was empty and abandoned on the side of the road the trucker was never seen again some say that the hitchhiker was a demon preying on unsuspecting Travelers others say that he was a ghost haunting the highways and luring his victims into the darkness either way the trucker's fate serves as a warning to all those who dare to pick up hitchhikers on the road you never know who or what you might be bringing into your life Story 4 the trucker had been driving for hours the snow-covered landscape slipping by in a blur he was tired and needed a place to rest so he pulled into a deserted parking lot on the side of the road he climbed into the back of his rig zipping himself up in his sleeping bag and drifting off to sleep but as the night wore on the trucker began to feel like he was being watched he kept waking up his heart pounding in his chest but there was no one there he tried to Shake it Off telling himself he was just being paranoid but the feeling only grew stronger as Dawn broke the trucker woke up to find that the world outside had changed the parking lot was no longer empty but filled with cars and people Milling about he climbed out of the rig confused and disoriented but as he approached the people they all turned to look at him and gasped the trucker froze his heart pounding in his chest he could see the fear in their eyes and he knew something was terribly wrong he turned to run but it was too late the people reached out their fingers grasping at him pulling him into the darkness the trucker was never seen again some say that he was taken by a group of malevolent spirits who had been waiting for him in the parking lot others say that he was the victim of a curse doomed to wander the highways forever either way the trucker's fate serves as a warning to all those who dare to stop and rest on the road you never know what might be waiting for you in the darkness Story 5 the old trucker had been on the road for decades driving across the country and seeing all sorts of things he'd encountered all manner of weird and strange things in his time but nothing could have prepared him for what he saw that night it was a dark and stormy night the rain pounding against the windshield as he drove through the mountains the old trucker was tired and wanted nothing more than to find a place to rest but the storm made it impossible as he drove he saw a figure standing on the side of the road beckoning to him it was an old woman her hair wild and her eyes glowing in the darkness the old trucker hesitated but something about the woman's gaze Drew him in he pulled over his heart pounding in his chest the woman climbed into the cab her eyes fixed on the old trucker he could feel her gaze boring into him as if she was trying to see into his very Soul the trucker tried to ignore it focusing on the road ahead but as they drove the woman began to speak her voice low and menacing she told the trucker things that he couldn't possibly know secrets that he had buried deep in his heart she spoke of his past mistakes and his future regrets revealing the truth that he had always known but never dared to face the trucker was terrified his hands shaking on the wheel he wanted to pull over and run but he was frozen in place unable to look away from the woman's glowing eyes finally they reached the old Trucker's destination the woman climbed out of the cab and disappeared into the darkness leaving the old trucker alone and shaken he never spoke of the strange woman in her unsettling Revelations but he never forgot her either to this day the old trucker wonders if she was a messenger from the Beyond sent to reveal the truth to him or perhaps she was something much worse something that should never have been encountered on the dark and lonely roads Story 6 the young trucker had been driving for hours his rig rumbling down the highway as he made his way home he was tired but happy it had been a good run and he was looking forward to seeing his family as he drove through the forest the young trucker couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched he kept looking in the rearview mirror but all he saw was the empty road behind him suddenly out of the corner of his eye he saw something move in the trees he turned to look but there was nothing there he Shrugged it off and continued driving but the feeling of being watched only grew stronger he started to feel like something was following him keeping Pace with his truck as he drove on the young trucker couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong he was about to pull over and take a break when screamed as the truck overturned the metal crushing him as it crashed to the ground the young trucker was killed in instantly story 7 the truck driver had been on the road for years driving across the tumbling and over end he was thrown from the cab his body battered and broken when he came to he was in the hospital he survived the crash but he was never the same the memory of the figure haunted him driving him to the brink of madness he could never drive a truck again the fear of encountering that mysterious figure on the road too much to bear the truck drivers wants great love for the open Road was gone replaced by a fear that he couldn't shake some say that the figure was a ghost haunting the highways and preying on unsuspecting Travelers others say that it was something much worse something that shouldn't be spoken of in the light of day either way the truck driver's fate serves as a warning to all those who dare to travel the roads at night beware of what lurks in the darkness for you never know what you might see Story 8 my boyfriend is a truck driver who routinely does Midnight runs oddly enough I asked him this question myself a few days ago he told me that one night he getting ready to park in a lot next to a truck stop he said it looked like there were no lights no cars no sign of anyone but he said screw it he was tired he woke up the next morning parked on the side of the road with three Highway Patrol Vehicles behind him he was about 15 miles away from the truck stop he parked at thing is he was sleeping in his camper the whole night he has no idea how he got on the side of the road and logic says someone tried stealing the truck and succeeded did and the police convinced him of this happening as they saw a man in a black jumpsuit running away from his truck into a nearby Field even then he still feels uneasy about the whole situation apparently the doors were still locked from the inside and there was no real sign of anyone trying to break in story nine my dad was a trucker for many years one time he told me he'd stopped at a mandatory weigh station somewhere at night that was refurbished from an old train station my dad parked the truck and got out noticing that someone was walking along the train tracks with a light it was really late so my dad called out and asked if he was okay the man kept walking my dad said he had a lantern in his hand my dad called out again and the man never turned around he went into the office and told them that some drunk is walking the train tracks and the guy behind the desk nonchalantly says yeah was it this guy and points to an old ass picture on the wall it was a picture of all the rail yard guys from like over 70 years before sure enough my dad had seen one of the guys in the photo apparently a lot of people have seen whatever that was in common asking questions story 10 creepiest driving I-40 I-30 through Texas and Arkansas I would see what looked like animals faces popping out of the bushes but longer than a glance proved nothing there they had just paved the highway and there was hardly any traffic I was dead tired it was super dark highway hypnosis I suppose paranormal when I went to local driving my road ran near an Air Reserve Base in Indiana so you'd see planes and helicopters pretty often one night about 2 am I was headed to pick up another load when I saw a bright green light in the corner of my windshield it was too low to be an aircraft it moved pretty slowly then darted and I lost sight of it behind some trees I drove by typical I saw a UFO but I still think it was just a helicopter or a jet that I saw at the prefect angle that turned after a takeoff the jet Pilots have broken the sound barrier over town a couple times in the past so a jet flying abnormally isn't necessarily out of the realm of possibility just batshit crazy driving South on I-75 in the winter in Ohio I witnessed a compact car like a Cobalt or similar get on the on-ramp to merge into I-75 north and lost control they went sideways fell at least six feet off the ramp and onto the shoulder of the interstate landing on all four wheels spun 360 degrees and then proceeded to merge into traffic like it was nothing blue my mind the CB radio is going nuts for about five minutes holy who else just saw that Etc
