10 creative camera slider tips with the Konova slider | Cinecom.net

hey guys what's up Jordy here and welcome to my quick tip video in this tutorial I'm going to teach you a lot of techniques on what you can do with a slider I think this is probably one of the best investments that you can do buy a crappy camera but make sure that you have a good slider that will create awesome images and there's a lot more that you can do than just sliding from left to right and that I will teach you in this lesson all right guys the number of ways you can use your camera slider is only limited to your creativity but in this tutorial I'm going to teach you 10 tricks or tips now before we can start you have to make sure that you have a tripod which you can attach your slider on and on that slider you have to make sure you have a photo tripod hat a a tripod hat for photo cameras has the ability to also tilt lateral the normal horizontal slider is nothing new so we'll instantly jump to the next one and that is the fan slide whenever you do a normal slide you pan with the subject and try to keep him in the middle the next tip is a slide in now we don't slide from the left to the right but from the back to the front a pool effect is not to focus pool with the subject but to reveal them from out of focus to focus then the fourth tip is what I call the roller coaster effect while sliding horizontal you also swing your lateral tilt this creates a crazy but steady effect the fifth tip is one of my favorites you tilt the tripod hat so that your slider is crooked and then with the hat on the slider you level your camera and then just slide up and down now you don't always have to slide on the barrels in the next step I'm sliding with a fixed plate meanwhile I pan with my tripod this creates a sliding effect that you always see with those cranes or jips let's take that crane effect to the next level guys attach your tripod plate on one of the outsides of your camera slider so that you have a long arm balance it with the arm from your tripod and the photo hat now you can create some of the effects that a small jip can do tip number eight a lift attach your tripods plat to the vertical side of your slider now you can slide up and down next one is Step number nine since we are on a tripod hat we can do more than just sliding up and down try to ban while doing a lift this creates an awesome effect and then finally guys the last tip is stilting while doing a lift this one is similar as the second tip but in this case we are going vertical all right guys practice on these tips and then try to find new techniques remember that you have an access from your video hat a slider and a photo hat combining these three accesses can create hundreds of possibilities now press that subscribe button to see me every week with a new quick tip tutorial video and thanks a lot for watching [Music] [Music] guys
