explore dungeons with friends lightsaber duel  with Darth Vader himself build entire cities of   your own creation become an assassin become a  poker star feel like John Wick play miniature   golf in an Elven landscape or play Tetris like a  raver these are just a few of the experiences you   can have on the new meta quest Quest 3 as well as  the meta Quest 2 and The Meta Quest Pro there's so   much to do and explore nowadays in VR that it is  actually worth your time welcome to gamess plus my   name is Josh and these are the 10 best meta Quest  3 games these are the essential games you can play   right now on Quest 3 Quest 2 or Quest Pro starting  off our list at number 10 red matter 2 red matter   2 is a first person Adventure game it's one of  the first games that is taking full advantage of   the new and highly improved Quest 3 Hardware the  game play is a mix of exploration puzzle solving   and combat you will need to use your wits and  skills to solve the many puzzles and to defeat   the enemies that stand in your way this is a  great game that really shines in the exploration   department and it's used as a great example of  what the upgraded graphics on the quest 3 can   do over the Quest 2 but it's still worth your  money on either device as it really pushes The   Quest 2 to its graphical limits which is still  very impressive this game is a great alternate   reality science fiction romp that will keep you  entertained for hours along with its excellent   visuals and immersive VR gameplay it also supports  great object interaction interesting puzzles and a   mysterious 6-hour mostly satisfying story there  are a variety of enemies to fight and weapons   to use but the combat is definitely not the best  aspect of the game the exploration factor of this   game is what keeps it interesting if you just  picked up a quest 3 or you're just looking for   a good game when your quest 2 or Pro red matter  2 is worth your time next at number nine Vader   Immortal Vader Immortal is a three-part VR series  that really lets you dive into the shoes of a Jedi   you'll train with lightsabers use them to deflect  lasers from attacking Stormtroopers and face off   against Darth Vader himself the rather quick story  in Vader Immortal is set shortly before the events   of the original film players take on the role of  a Smuggler that Darth Vader tasks with finding   an ancient artifact that is rumored to contain  the power to defeat the Sith which obviously   Darth vad Vader does not want to happen the game  story is told through a series of cut scenes and   interactive sequences players can explore Vader's  Castle duel with lightsaber wielding enemies and   even use the force to solve puzzles I waited  to get this game for quite a while even though   I'd heard how fun it is once I finally got it I  realized what I've been missing I really honestly   geeked out when I started using that lightsaber  in VR it is quite an experience even if you don't   want to buy all three episodes I highly suggest  at least getting the first one if you're a Star   Wars fan and you have a quest 3 or a Quest 2 you  really owe it to yourself to try this one out next   up at at number eight cities VR cities VR is an  adaptation of the popular PC game cities skylines   players take on the role of a mayor tasked with  building and managing a city from the ground   up players must plan and design neighborhoods  construct buildings provide utilities and keep   their citizens happy and healthy while it doesn't  have the same level of detail as City skylines it   makes up for it with the VR immersion Factor the  game features a variety of tools and options to   help you build whatever kind of City you like  there are different building types including   residential commercial and industrial buildings  you'll also build roads Bridges and other   infrastructure since it's in VR players can view  their City from a bird's eye perspective or fly   all the way down to the street level the graphics  aren't super amazing but this game is more about   the relaxed type of gameplay players look for  in this genre my complaint about this game is   that it doesn't feature the natural disasters  like the city skylines games since it's more of   an entry-level building game but it is perfect  for players who enjoy the city building games   who want to experience the genre in a new and  immersive way it's also a great game for people   who are new to city builders altogether hopefully  there will be a sequel coming along sometime soon   with more robust graphics and features at number  seven Tetris effect connected this is not your   daddy's Tetris game I've enjoyed playing Tetris  since I was really young from time to time so I   was curious about Tetris effect connected which  is the newest iteration of the old classic this   game completely blew me away it's like playing  Tetris on a giant wall at a nightclub with great   house music pumping and visuals that mimic that of  a psychedelic trip this is a VR experience through   and through and you can play it with people online  as well as alone there are a variety of different   game modes a singleplayer campaign a multiplayer  mode and a variety of challenge modes the campaign   mode is a journey through a series of different  worlds each with its own unique visual style   and music players must clear lines of blocks and  progress through the levels in case you've never   heard of Tetris before the multiplayer mode allows  players to play cooperatively online which is a   really fun twist and is surprisingly fun where  you literally all connect together and can drop   blocks on the same triple wide playing field I  really enjoyed the online multiplayer but what   really shines above all the other things in this  game are just those stunning visuals of music it   is truly an immersive experience that is not to  be missed freshly arriving on the list at number   six dungeons of Eternity this game dungeons  of Eternity is a first-person Dungeon Crawler   with a focus on Cooperative multiplayer you and  two friends or strangers can team up to explore   dungeons fight monsters and find treasure the  game is brand new along with the release of   quest 3 so I haven't played it quite as much  as some of the other games but wow it really   delivered right off the bat I love using a bow and  arrow in real life and in games like like Skyrim   and this is the first time I've ever played in  a VR game where it actually felt really good I   felt a little bit like legalis from Lord of the  Rings shooting baddies down with quick arrows   to the Head the gameplay itself is super fun even  though it looks very basic the mechanics just feel   great everything from Swinging The Sword blocking  parrying casting spells shooting arrows drinking   potions unlocking locks and even just picking up  items feels smooth and intuitive you can slowly   enhance your character as you level up and find  new schematics to forge new weapons and potions   and each time you find a new chest you can find  not only gold but possibly a new weapon schematic   or new clothing items Etc it really makes you  want to keep exploring the three-player gameplay   aspect itself is very straightforward and some of  the best multiplayer cooperative play I've done   in virtual reality period dungeons are randomly  generated so the variety is pretty much endless   although it is a little bit repetitive hopefully  they will slowly release expansions for this game   with new environments in coming months and years  this game really hit the ground running and is so   much fun and it has so much potential with updates  to become an excellent multiplayer experience at   number five pistol whip if you like fast-paced  gameplay pistol whip is an awesome rhythm-based   action game where you shoot your way through a  variety of different levels to the beat of the   music the game is incredibly fast-paced and  addictive and it is a great way to get some   exercise seriously you're going to sweat a lot  when you play this game it's not specifically   meant to be a workout game but you will get a  workout on the harder levels no matter what the   game is incredibly fast-paced in the best way  players take on the role of a secret agent who   must fight their way through a series of stylized  levels set to a variety of electronic music tracks   players must shoot enemies bullets and walls  to the Beat of the Music there are a variety of   different weapons and enemies as well as a variety  of different game modes the campaign mode is a   series of connected levels that take players on  a journey through different worlds and dimensions   pistol whip is a must play for any fan of Rhythm  games or first-person shooters it is an immersive   and exciting experience that is just dripping with  style and sweat at number four Deo and Deo battles   deio is a tabletop RPG that I cannot praise enough  this is another one of those games that I had seen   advertised in The Meta store and was hesitant to  purchase for a long time I eventually went for it   and boy was I glad I did players can choose from  a variety of different character classes each with   its own unique abilities and play style you can  view the game board from a variety of different   perspectives and use your hands to interact with  the board and Miniatures on Quest 3 and Quest Pro   you can even play the game on a real tabletop  with the awesome new mixed reality mode I have   always loved tactical RPGs since I was very young  this is a team based tactical RPG where you play   against Monsters on a board with your character  along with other real life players in VR it's an   experience unlike anything I've had before online  each character class has its own strengths and   weaknesses and you must work as a team to explore  each dungeon and area to ultimately defeat the   boss at the end of that series of levels playing  online with other people in a Cooperative way is   a really rewarding experience in demo the player  base tends to be very helpful and generally   patient unless you act completely foolish there's  even a Heroes hangout area where you can just hang   out with other players joke around and paint  miniature figurines just for the fun of it the   developers did so many things right with this  excellent game I know myself along with a lot   of other players who are big fans of this game are  looking forward to finally playing Deo battles the   player versus Player version of the game that has  been in development for quite some time this will   be an awesome whole new way to play one versus one  player or two versus two players this game has a   release date of November 9th 2023 so as you're  watching this video I'm betting it's already   available I'd still suggest playing the original  Deo first but hey maybe I'll just see you out   there on the battlefield one of these days coming  in at number three Walkabout mini golf this is   one of those games that just feels synonymous with  the quest gaming experience to me it's no question   whether or not to buy this game you just should  whether you like mini golf or not the incredible   variety of levels straightforward gameplay  with tons of challenges realistic physics and   the amount of players that have formed a massive  online community are just some of the reasons that   this is a must play for Quest 3 the base game has  eight unique 18 whole courses to master along with   an ever expanding plethora of additional courses  of various themes like Jules Vern levels the Lost   Cities an Elvin Forest Jim Henson's Labyrinth  along with many others and one of the best   things about this game is you don't actually have  to own all those levels if someone invites you to   play with their guest pass or if you join through  a Discord group you just can't collect the hidden   balls that are all over the level as a guest but  you can still enjoy all those levels when you just   have the base game with a little planning this is  truly a phenomenal game and it will go down as one   of the best in this generation of VR Gaming coming  in solidly at number two super hot VR this game is   pretty much the best VR experience I've ever had  it's been out for quite a long time but it still   holds as the most fun challenging John Wick likee  action slow-mo VR experience out there super hot   VR is a time-bending action game where time only  moves when you do this allows you to plan your   attacks carefully and create some really epic  moments on the surface this looks like a standard   first-person shooter and it kind of is but in  reality it's more of a puzzle shooter if you   really take it nice and slow which you'll have to  do a lot of the time you'll be able to figure out   what exactly you need to do to pass each section  of the game it grows more and more challenging   and that much more rewarding as you do more and  more crazy moves to save off your enemies there   really isn't much of a story other than being in  a virtual reality simul ation within the virtual   reality simulation and just trying to get through  it all but none of that even matters it really   is just one of the most fun experiences you can  possibly have in VR this is definitely the game   that you would let someone try if you wanted them  to be impressed by an awesome VR experience for   the first time it has a unique art style it's very  minimalist and geometric but the Simplicity makes   the game Flow beautifully keeping you focused  on the incredibly executed gameplay super hot   VR is a must playay for any fan of firstperson  shooters or VR Gaming period it's truly immersive   and exciting and it could have easily landed at  the top of this list but instead at number one   Vegas Infinite Vegas Infinite was formerly known  as Poker Stars VR they recently changed the name   as they've added so many features to it that go  far beyond poker when I first loaded this game   up and played it I really just wanted to play some  Blackjack and it seemed like a fun casino setting   ultimately I did start playing poker and I can  say I've become a much better poker player for   it granted you're playing in a virtual environment  with fake money so people don't necessarily play   as they would with real money but you can still  run out thankfully there's a wheel you can spin   every 8 hours that will give you some more money  to play with the gameplay itself is excellently   done percentages are shown for probability of hand  possibilities the graphics are crisp and fresh and   there are a variety of themed tables to play at  to keep things interesting the user interface   takes a minute to get used to but once you do  it's very intuitive and smooth this is where I   want to point out why I chose this as the number  one game on the list this game is 100% free it's   incredibly immersive really fun and has a great  online community of players yes you can spend   real money to buy chips and props and there's also  a membership program you can join if you'd like   to get some extra perks but the base game itself  is free and you can always get more money every   8 hours if you learn how to play well you can  multiply your money to the point where spinning   the wheel almost makes no difference depending on  your level of commitment of course whether you're   brand new to Poker or a seasoned veteran there  are so many different modes and options within   this game to play that you can satisfy that itch  to play with other players live I used to play   poker with friends a lot in years past nowadays  it's hard to get people into the same room Vegas   Infinite is a great way to play with other people  you can even play with a pass through mode on so   you can have everyone sitting in your own living  room if poker isn't your thing you can also play   roulette craps Blackjack and a huge variety of  slot machines with Virtual Casino floors and your   own Penthouse along with that there are a huge  variety of props to play with within the game   that have no bearing on the gameplay itself but  are just fun to play with these props are things   that people either love or hate or pretend that  they hate and secretly love I don't think there's   an actual better socialization platform in VR  because you're engaged in a game while you're   conversing with people so it's a different kind  of element I've actually met more than one set   of real life couples that met in this game who  actually live together now but still play the   game together while on their virtual headsets in  the same room thankfully there's a pretty solid   moderation system in place as well for people who  get out of hand so it maintains a pretty friendly   environment I mean there are always going to  be wild cards here and there I've had some   weird experiences with people on there but for  the most part it's pretty solid Vegas Infinite   is my personal favorite in VR and I've spent more  time playing it than anything else you just have   to remind yourself sometimes that real life  is more important so there you have it the 10   best meta Quest 3 games as of the making of this  video The Quest 3 has just been released so there   are additional titles coming soon that are worth  noting that could be added to this list if they're   really good two of the most anticipated games are  Assassin's Creed Nexus where you can finally Dawn   those assassins robes and sneak around taking out  baddies on November 16th 2023 the other big one   that's coming is asgard's wrath 2 the fulllength  60-hour sequel releasing on December 15th 2023   both of those games are designed to take full  advantage of the quest 3's new hardware but   they'll also be playable on the Quest 2 and  Quest Pro perhaps they're worthy to be listed   amongst the best what do you think which of these  games have you played what do you think is missing   from the list let's talk about it in the comments  below if you enjoyed this video please give it a   thumbs up it really does help and to see all my  upcoming videos hit that subscribe button thank   you guys for watching and I will see you next  time on gamelist plus the time for talking is over
