10 AMAZINGLY AFFORDABLE DOLLAR TREE CAMPING HACKS FOR SUMMER VACATION!!

hey guys welcome back to our Gregory home so our family went camping this past weekend and we had a blast but let me tell you before you're allowed to sit down and put your feet up and relax there is a lot of preparation involved and this is what it looks like for us before we left yes our table is full and our totes are full so to make it easier for you guys I wanted to share $10 treat camping hacks that made of life so much easier for us so let's go ahead and get started now the first one isn't really a hack but I wanted to show you guys these little trays anyways I picked these up at the Dollar Tree and they're awesome because they come with a fork a knife and a spoon perfect for camping I also grabbed these little water bottles and what's so great about these is the bottom comes off and you can actually put little snacks in there so if you're going on a little mini hike you're just going to the lake the beach whatever you can throw some water and some snacks in there all right the second hack is also another purchase that was so great I couldn't pass it up I grabbed a towel and two little pot holders and I decided to get these because I didn't want to bring my nice ones camping and get them all dirty these ones are nice they're only a dollar and they work so what we did we did a lot of campfire camping and we use them to grab the food off the campfire and to set it on the table all right number three you're gonna want to pick up some of these shower caps now this comes six in a pack and these are awesome you'll see why in a minute so here's our dirty dirty shoes that you don't want sitting inside your tent right well all you do is just take your shower cap and hook them on the bottom around the shoes and now you have clean shoes to put in your tent [Music] all right hack number four so you're gonna want to pick up one of these clotheslines from Dollar Tree you're also gonna want to pick up some of these hooks I grabbed two bags just because I wanted a little bit extra and just in case and then you're gonna want to grab this bag of laundry mesh laundry bags that comes with three in a bag alright so here we hung up our clothesline and this is where we hung up all of our towels to dry them and also those little hooks that I have hook the swimsuits on really good to make sure that they don't fall down I also used those little hooks to clip on the mesh bags and inside the mesh bags I put our water shoes [Music] and I picked up these adorable little flashlights at the target dollar spot I wanted to show them to you guys their little headlamps and my kids love them and I also put these inside one of the mesh bags and it was so nice to be able to know exactly where all of our lights were when the Sun went down so we weren't scrambling around trying to find a flashlight and I just clipped that bag directly on the clothesline on the opposite side so where it's attached to the tree I also put some block and bug spray in another one and here's what it that looks like I'll hung up now these clips are also great to hold your trash bag onto your table so this is hack number 5 clip your trash bag to your table so it doesn't fall down alright hack number 6 you're gonna want to pick up two of these buckets from the Dollar Tree and you're also going to want to fill one both of them up with water one of them with biodegradable soap in it now we already got a little camping bug in one but that's alright you're camping and you're gonna want to pick up one of these little sponge scrubber brushes this holds the soap on the inside so it's nice you don't have to carry around the bottle of soap with you so what you're gonna do is use that first bucket with the soap to clean it and then the second bucket with the clean water is to just rinse it off [Music] and then to dry your dishes you can go ahead and put them in another one of those laundry bags this also keeps the bugs out which is nice all right hack number seven we are going to find some toilet paper rolls and some laundry lint now of course the toilet paper rolls you can buy the Dollar Tree but we just found some in our trash cans and the laundry lint is pretty self-explanatory that comes out of your laundry so what you're going to do is just take that toilet paper roll and stuff the laundry lint inside the toilet paper roll you know this is a fun project for the kids to do you can see my son loved it [Music] we made about six of these and they lost at us the entire weekend we were camping so it was perfect and all you do is just put that toilet paper roll underneath the logs in your fire and light it and you're good to go [Music] now of course what is a fire without some s'mores right [Music] but what do you do with your sticks that have marshmallow goop all over them well you're gonna want to pick up one of these little box gift boxes from the Dollar Tree and it's as simple as just cutting a little slit on the inside and you just slip your little skewer right on in there this is awesome as easy for the kids to do and it keeps the bugs and the dirts off of your sticky skewer sticks all right moving on to hack number nine this is a first aid kit probably one of the most important hacks I picked up everything here from the Dollar Tree including this little toolbox that is in the tool section it fit everything in there perfectly you're gonna want to make sure that you take everything out of the package first so it fits in there really good I got some advil tylenol lip balm all kinds of stuff band-aids I took the band-aids out of the boxes so they fit in better alcohol pads and of course some hand sanitizer and they fit in there perfectly and so now you don't have to worry about if your kid falls and scrapes their leg or you get a bug bite or anything like that all right hack number 10 and this is probably my favorite one and that's why I saved it for last you are going to want to go to dart tree and you're going to want to pick up all of this stuff now we have some little Lou Thesz here I picked the cute ones for the kids that have the little animals on them and then the other one for my husband and I you're gonna want to pick up these toothbrush packets of course if you have more kids or less kids you know go for what your family needs I did pick up these grab-and-go bags of shampoo bottles at Walmart but I could not find the ones that Dollar Tree and my daughter's we did not have them the toothbrushes I picked up at Dollar Tree and then also the lanyards in the carabiners I picked up at Dollar Tree as well now this little DIY is super easy to do all you do is unwrap everything and you're gonna take your carabiner and hook it on to your toothbrush and hook it on to your little loofah and then you're just gonna hook it on to your lanyard now what's nice about this is whenever you want to go camping and you need to take a shower all you have to do is just grab your lanyard and wrap it around your neck and you are good to go so here is my son holding his lanyard in his caterpillar all right you guys that doesn't for these $10 tree camping hacks I hope you enjoyed it and I hope it
