1 John 5:9 to 21

okay welcome back i'm robert breaker and uh we're continuing our verse by verse bible study through first john chapter five and um last time we finished in verse eight so i believe we'll start at verse nine today we might just start from the beginning and read because there's a lot of stuff to read here but we've been going through and we've been seeing that john is giving the message of who jesus is that he's telling us about what jesus did but he's still giving the message of who so that dual application don't ever forget how the book of first john can have a dual application and as soon as the rapture comes then that book can go back for the jews to read and so the jews can believe in who jesus is he is their messiah so we'll start in verse 1 and we'll read down hopefully we'll finish up today we'll see verse 1 whosoever believeth that jesus is the christ is born of god now that's the who message so why isn't he over here in the what message well from what we've seen he does give the message of what jesus did for you but for some reason he wants people to know who jesus is as well and i think you'll remember that in the beginning of this uh whole study we saw how paul said all in asia turned against me and we go to the book of revelation john is writing to the seven churches in asia so those churches turned away from paul's teaching and came back to this teaching and so part of this book is all about who jesus is but part of the book is now make sure you remember what he did for you don't forget that so the who and the what message together it's interesting so anyway we continue here and it says whosoever believeth jesus is the christ is born of god and everyone that loveth him that beget loveth him also that is begotten of him by this we know that we love the children of god when we love god and keep his commandments for this is the love of god that we keep his commandments and his commandments are not grievous for whatsoever is born of god overcometh the world and this is the victory that overcometh the world even our faith now i've showed you revelation and in the tribulation period how it's a little different than today today we're saved by faith alone well what about the tribulation what is it like in the tribulation revelation chapter 12 and uh revelation 12 17 and the dragon was wroth with the woman and went to make war with the remnant of her seed which keep the commandments of god and have the testimony of jesus christ and then in chapter 14 we read verse 12. here's the patience of the saints here are they that keep the commandments of god and the faith of jesus christ so today we are saved by faith and then after salvation we keep commandments we don't keep the commandments to get saved we keep the commandments after we're saved but it looks like in the tribulation period because those passages we just read we see them keeping commandments and they have some faith and faith so i've always taught that it's a faith and works gospel during the tribulation because today it's faith alone but during the tribulation it sounds so different because in the tribulation it's he that endureth to the end shall be safe we don't have to endure the end today to be saved today we're saved and eternally secure in christ and we've seen that eternal security teaching in john but over here they've got endure to the end or die as a martyr as a martyr for jesus and i will get into this a little bit more as we get to the end of this chapter because there is what's called the unto death that sounds like that's more for the tribulation so we'll get into that so keep reading keep reading here so we see keep commandments and then overcome by faith well it's faith and then keep commandments so but why is it reverse here in chapter five it's kind of odd is it a dual application is it applying to over there verse 5 who is he that overcometh the world but he that believeth that jesus is the son of god is this a dual application in the future and over in this time believe who jesus is believe he's the son of god see that dual application there of the book and then he continues there in verse 6 this is he that came by water so jesus came by water we saw that last time he was born water birth and blood how did he die he shed his blood without shedding of blood there's no remission of sins so birth death of jesus so who he is when he came to be born it was announced this is jesus emmanuel god with us who he is and the blood is what he shed it's what he did to save us even jesus christ not by water only but by water and blood and it is the spirit that beareth witness because the spirit is truth that's the capital s so that's the holy spirit of god verse seven we looked at last time how that verse is in the original has to be because the grammatic of greek does not work without that verse and we have 100 200 300 years after jesus many many many church fathers quoting first john 5 7 but then we see four or five 600 years after jesus someone removing this verse who was that the gnostics the evil ones so first john 5 7 is bible it wasn't added by the king james it was re-inserted if you will because it was clearly part of the original text so if you don't have first john 5 7 in your bible you have a gnostic bible a bible that came from alexandria that came from the gnostic doctrine and what else have they changed in your bible what else have those gnostics done you go to first timothy 3 16 it says great is the mystery of godliness god was manifest in the flesh new versions say he was manifest in the flesh who is he he who you know the antichrist is going to be manifesting the flesh out here is it talking about the antichrist no it's talking about god manifesting the flesh jesus christ is come in the flesh so a lot of these versions that are modern versions that are not the king james they contain many passages that attack the deity of christ why is that well we've already seen because there are some evil spirits involved that were in the gnostics and that are in the modern day apostates and they are trying to water down bibles and get rid of the doctrine that clearly points to jesus as god now let me finish verse seven there for there are three that bear record heaven the father well that's god the father the word that's jesus christ and the holy ghost and these three are one so that's what we call the trinity or the godhead it's one god in three three and one and one and three and the one in the middle died for me amen so one god in three now verse eight and there are three that bear witness in the earth so three in heaven father son holy spirit three in earth the spirit that's a little s so that's our spirit the water well we are born of water we come from our mother's water sack when we're born the water breaks that would be our flesh our body and the blood when we're saved our soul is washed in the blood so here on earth three parts so as god is one god and three we consist of three but those three are one and first thessalonians 5 23 tells us that we are a triune being we have a body a soul and a spirit verse 9 9 9 if there's that word if again if we receive the witness of man so he's saying if we listen to what man says well let me tell you something he says the witness of god is greater so don't listen to what a man may say listen to what god says well are there people that say otherwise i don't remember if it was the presbyterians or something like that but there are some people that teach the duality and say we man we're only a body and a soul they don't believe that we're a spirit well they're not reading the bible but they take it into a two instead of three and then there are others that say no it's the oneness we're all one there's not three there's one well one is three and three is one in what he's saying because the father the word of the holy ghost they are one so it might consist of three but those three are one so there are all sorts of teachings out there that are against the trinity today and you've got to be careful the true bible teaching of the godhead is one god in three three and one and one and three and the one in the middle died for me is what my old pastor used to say all the time so if we receive the witness of men of something else it's not true because the witness of god is greater in god's witness is first john 5 7 a verse that has always been in the bible but has been removed by the gnostics in their horrible alexandrian texts the witness of god is greater for this is the witness of god which he had testified of his son so the father testified of the son he that believeth on the son of god have the witness in himself he that believeth not god hath made him a liar because he believeth not the record that god gave of his son you're saying god's a liar if you're not listening to god you got to be careful you got to be careful now verse 11 says and this is the record that god hath given to us eternal life and this life is in his son so we saw that last time we saw the importance of realizing that the godhead consists of what the father the son and the holy spirit so the father must correspond to the soul of god the son in him all the godhead dwelleth bodily so that would be the body jesus christ came in a body he is come in the flesh and the holy spirit that would be the spirit lines up with us we are created in god's image so we are body soul and spirit so jesus came down from heaven and jesus is god in a body is come in the flesh and he came down here and the father through the through the sun somehow allowed him to be born of a virgin these are some things that i can't figure out so i'm not going to go there i don't know how uh some people are so evil and so wicked and so irreverent they say well god the father had sex with mary i don't believe that i don't believe that that's not what it says in luke and other places it says that somehow the father put a seed in the woman okay it wasn't through a sexual intercourse your mormons believe that if you ever read any of joseph smith's writings and i've read a lot of them i have a video on youtube why i'm not a mormon or a latter-day saint please watch that video and learn about that you got to be careful of that uh how irreverent to say well the father had sex with mary no no the father somehow put the seed of the son into her and then jesus was born in a body without sin and what did he do for us he died on the cross for our sins and what was it all for to give us eternal life so verse 11 and this is the record that god the father hath given to us eternal life and this life is in his son jesus christ god the son so we have god the father god the son and god the holy spirit it's one god these three are one not three gods some people try to tell you well you believe in three gods no i believe in one god in three notice how important it is to realize in verse 11 that jesus christ is the one that gives eternal life and this is the record that god has given to us eternal life and this life is in his son so salvation is eternal life all right let's make sure we understand what we're talking about a lot of people today they say oh yeah you got to get saved you got to get saved and then they say but you can lose it then they don't even understand what salvation is because salvation is eternal life if you could lose it then it wasn't eternal eternal means forever everlasting and unable to be changed because it continues on forever how could you lose that so it says the record is he hath given to us eternal life when you get saved god gives you the free gift of eternal life what a blessing first john 3 14 first john 3 14 we know that we have passed from death unto life because we love the brother and he that love not his brother abideth in death so we have passed from death unto life 4 13 hereby know we that we dwell in him and he is us because he hath given us of his spirit so this is eternal security and this is what paul taught and this is what we see here all throughout the teaching of john eternal security can't lose your salvation god has given us something and he says he's given us his spirit let's go to second corinthians 1 22. i want to make sure you realize this is a teaching that lines up with paul as well paul taught eternal security and paul taught god gives us his holy spirit a couple of sessions ago in our classes i talked about how there are people out there say what you've got to be baptized in water and that's the the baptism of the spirit no no no that's we've looked at that the baptism of the holy spirit happens through faith through believing the gospel but look at second corinthians 1 22 2 corinthians chapter 1 verse 22 who hath also sealed us and given the earnest of the spirit of our hearts so god has given us his holy spirit when we get saved first thessalonians 4 8 there's nothing better to cure heresy than to just read the bible and if you read it and believe it you must believe in eternal security and there's no way you could fall into false doctrine because it says god gives you eternal life when you get saved and you have passed from death to life and god has given you his holy spirit first thessalonians 4 8 first thessalonians chapter 4 and verse 8. he therefore that despiseth despite is not man but god who hath also given unto us his holy spirit god gave us his holy spirit now ii timothy 1 9 so i have present tense the holy spirit in me and he's sealed in me and i can't lose him ii timothy 1 9 says who has saved us and called us with the holy calling not according to our works but according to his own purpose and grace which was given us in christ jesus before the world began in the mind of god god says there's something i'm going to give those that believe so salvation according to god is a free gift and that free gift is eternal life and that free gift is the holy spirit so do you have the holy spirit i've talked to people that claim to be christians and i say hey you got the holy spirit they go no no i'm a believer and i got saved and i believe in jesus but i don't have the holy spirit yet and i say well then you are not a true bible believer and you have no idea what you're talking about and so you're probably not saved because if you're saved you know you're saved and you know you've got the spirit of god because the bible tells us all throughout paul remember paul is the heart of new testament doctrine all throughout paul and all throughout this book and others it's all about the free gift of eternal life so paul's doctrine is the heart of new testament doctrine and he taught the doctrine of eternal security and now we're finding john is in agreement so look at ephesians 1 12 all the way to ephesians 1 14. ephesians 1 12 that we should be to the praise of his glory who first trusted in christ so salvation is by trusting you've got to trust in something trust is to believe to believe is to have faith so do you have any faith have you trusted well the bible says we're not saved by our works we're saved by faith now verse 13 in whom you also trusted after that she heard the word of truth the gospel of your salvation whom also after that she believed you were sealed with that holy spirit of promise so when you get saved by faith faith in what romans 3 25 says through faith in his blood so when your faith is in the blood of jesus when you're trusting in the blood atonement you know like it says in romans 5 11 having now received the atonement and we see the blood atonement in first john chapter 5 we've already looked at that where he mentions the death and he talks about the blood so it says here after you believe the gospel you're sealed with the holy spirit of promise okay so after you trust the blood atonement of christ that's what the gospel is all about the death burial resurrection the blood atonement of christ then you're sealed with the holy spirit of promise verse 14 which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession under the praise of his glory so when we're saved it's our soul that's saved and our soul gets eternal life but our body isn't saved yet otherwise we'd never die you get saved and then you die it's your body that dies but guess what the resurrection is the rapture and at the rapture that's when we get a glorified body and that's when our body gets eternal life and then the body will never die and that's what it's about so there's salvation of the soul and then the rapture is when we get a glorified body all right so back to first john chapter 5 in verse 11 and this is the record that god hath given to us eternal life and this life is in his son so if you're saved you have present tense eternal life how can you lose that i've told you probably before that before i got saved i belonged to an assembly of god church in that church four years when i went to that church i wasn't saved i never heard the gospel one time i grew up my mom would go to pentecostal churches my dad would go to independent baptist churches and sometimes they would compromise and go to a southern baptist church so i was very messed up as a child i never got the true gospel of salvation i never understood no one really set me down and spoke to me and told me hey did you know that salvation is eternal life and it's a free gift from jesus christ if you will trust his blood no one ever they always said us jesus in your heart or repeat this prayer after me and so or get baptized or all these things and so i kept thinking well it's got to be what i do and i got to quit sinning oh i got to quit sinning and that's yeah i did everything i could to try to save myself and then i realized i'm not saved it was until my dad explained to me hey son romans 3 25 hey son first corinthians 15 1-4 hey son look at what the bible then it was like wow it's what he did for me i trust in what jesus did for me on the cross and that's when i got saved now i have eternal life and i know i have eternal life but that's not what was taught me when i was in the assembly of god church for those four years they told me come to jesus and believe in him and trust him as your savior and i thought i was doing that i believe in jesus i believe in jesus well you know what the bible says the bible says even the devils believe and tremble the devils believe that jesus is the christ they know that are they saved by believing the who message no so it's not enough to just believe who jesus is you must trust in what jesus did and in that assembly of god church they never not once told me trust in the blood of jesus and you're eternally secure in christ no they told me now believe in jesus well i believe jesus was the christ but i wasn't trusting my soul to him i wasn't saved by faith in the blood atonement of christ i called upon him every night and prayed oh god please don't let me go to hell oh god please please save me oh please please i asked please every single night before bed but i was trusting in my prayer i wasn't trusting in the propitiation of christ but that church told me well well okay well then you're a christian they said but you don't have the holy spirit you need to speak in tongues to get the holy spirit so they had me believing that i was a christian but that i didn't have the holy spirit well if you don't have the holy spirit then you don't have the spirit of life so how do you have eternal life so they told me that i could be a christian but never have eternal life and that always bothered me and they said now you be careful or you can lose it lose what well when you sin then you lose it so they had a faith and works gospel and they told me yeah yeah believe all you want that's great to believe but you got to do this otherwise you don't keep it so salvation in the mind of the pentecostal that tried to teach me what they believed was it's dependent upon what i do to get it and to keep it and they told me that i could become a believer in christ but not have the holy spirit and that i had to speak in tongues in order to receive the baptism of the holy ghost and i'm just like so wait a minute you're telling me if i believe that i'm safe but i don't have the holy spirit so i have to do that to get the holy spirit and they even said you don't have to speak in tongues so you can be saved without the spirit of god in you that's not ephesians 1 13. so they always had me in fear oh i'm going to lose it i'm going to lose it and i how can you lose something you didn't have in the first place but they deceived me into thinking that through my works i could be safe but i never knew i was safe and then i had to do all these things to not lose my salvation i'm so glad that i got the bible and i believe what the bible says so i don't have to live in that false denomination and live in fear every night of oh no what if i sinned today i might have lost it thank god that the bible teaches you cannot lose it now some people look at that and they say so you just want an excuse to sin and they teach that if you believe in eternal security then you're telling it's okay to go sin i've never said that and i'll never say that i don't think it's okay to sin i think we should do everything we can to depart from iniquity as paul says we should do everything we can to live right but my salvation does not depend upon my living right my salvation is a present tense gift given to me because july 29th 1992 i heard the gospel and believed do you know the only thing you can do that's not a work is believe i mean think about that only thing you can do that's not a work is belief interesting thought so first john 5 11 says that this is the record that god has given to us eternal life and this is in his son so through christ we can be saved through what he did on the cross are you trusting in that if you are you have eternal life and if you have eternal life then you have the holy spirit so you have been baptized with the holy spirit and you cannot lose it because you're sealed with the holy spirit of promise now verse 12 and verse 12 is probably the easiest verse to memorize in the king james bible and this is one of the reasons why the king james bible is so great the king james bible was done because the christians at the time had several bibles and a lot of them were done by different christian denominations and a lot of times they had more notes in their bible than the text of the bible and so many christians during the time of king james when he came to power says look we just want one bible and we want that bible to be a bible that is easy to memorize and appointed to be read in churches many times when you get a king james bible you'll see where it says appointed to be read in churches in the desire of the king james bible was for the common man to have a bible and be able to read it and memorize it so when the translators put together the king james bible they had the right text thank god they didn't use the gnostic text but they put it together and they put it in such a way that they said we want to make sure we do this in regular english but in the most basic form of english that a person can understand and that's what they did and one of the greatest lies by modern so-called scholars and apostates is this the king james bible is archaic and it's so hard to understand well if you've done all of our verse by verse bible studies did you find that true i don't i find it way easier to understand and then they say that king james bible is harder to memorize now that is a lie too they did a test called the fleshman kincaid test and they did the king james and they did all these other versions and it came back that the king james bible was on a sixth grade to an eighth grade reading level compared to new versions that are 9 10 11 12 grade reading level they are actually harder to understand new versions than our king james bible and way harder to memorize the king james bible they put it together correctly but in such a way that it's got a cadence to it in order to help you to memorize so we go to first john chapter 5 and verse 12 every single word in this verse is a one syllable word listen to what it says and listen to how you can memorize this he that hath the son hath life and he that hath not the son hath not life you could memorize that like this he that have the son have light and he that had not the son had not that was so easy i just memorized that verse do you see why the king james bible is superior in every way to all so-called new versions comes from the right text they come from the gnostic alexandrian text it has a easier grade reading level they don't and some people say well brother breaker there are some things in the king james bible that are hard for me to understand and i don't understand them well there's a super easy thing there's about 500 words in the king james bible that are a little bit hard to understand and that's all and so there's a publication you can go to chick.com and i'm not really a fan of chick but they do have this thing it's a small little dictionary of 500 words in the king james bible that a lot of people may not understand and it's so small you can actually put it in your bible and carry it with you and look up any word in that it's like a small tiny 500 word dictionary that goes along with the king james if you have that in your bible then you've got what you need here it is right here i thought i had it it's called the king james bible companion over 500 archaic words defined and look how small it is that actually fits in your bible in just little words like words that you should know like guile all right you should know what guile is husbandment you should know what that is lasciviousness mortify i mean some of these are words you already know but then there are some harder words that you look at and go what does that mean like dropsy you know what is dropsy when it talks about that in the bible what is a sade or what is bishop prick or what so this is a wonderful little thing that you can buy from chick tracts chick publications which is chick.com carry that in your king james bible and you'll never have a problem if you come across a word you don't know what it means just look it up in there but new versions of the bible they're from the wrong text they attack the deity of christ they change things because they are gnostic in origin and the gnostics were led by demons so that's why i want to stay away from new versions of the bible but easiest verse in the bible to memorize first john 5 12. it's a wonderful verse and so easy to understand verse 13 these things have i written unto you that believe on the name of the son of god that you may know so here we go again that you may know so here's something that you need to know here are two things in first john 5 13. two things mentioned here i believe this is so important these things have i written unto you that believe in the name of the son of god that ye may know so it's that ye he is you ye may know you have eternal life do you know that if you don't know that you have eternal life and that you're saved and on your way to heaven then you need to read this book again because this book is written so that you may know that you have eternal life and some of your pentecostal charismatic simply god i don't know if i've eternal life i might have lost it oh i hope no the bible says you can know how do i know these things that are written if you'll read the bible then you'll know that you're saved and so that you may know that you have eternal life and that you may believe believe on the name of the son of god so again believing on the name of the son of god there's two ways that it talked about believing on jesus and believing in jesus some people try to make those two things different i don't know i don't see that there's a difference between believing in jesus believing on jesus i think it's really kind of the same thing but what does it entail to believe on the name of the son of god well the name of jesus is jehovah saves jesus so if we believe in the what jesus did for us then we're believing in god who saves but notice how it says believe on the name we're back to that again and that was over here we saw that in the early book of acts and we saw that who do men say that you are so that sounds more like dual application over here believe on the name of jesus so more for jews and the tribulation at the dual application but first john 5 13 is such an important verse i come across people all the time that say brother breaker i don't know if i'm saved or not and i always say well look at first john 5 13 and then i asked him what is it saying there how can you know that you have eternal life oh well it says here that the things are written okay are you reading your bible the way that you'll know whether you're saved or not is whether or not you're reading what it says because faith is believing the words on the page and the words on the page say he is your propitiation through faith in his blood do you believe that are you trusting in jesus christ as your propitiation is your faith in his blood as many as received him with him gave you power to become sons of god it says that he gave us eternal life do you believe that are you trusting in what jesus said so first john 5 13 is a wonderful wonderful verse for people now a lot of people say what about assurance do i have assurance of salvation well assurance is what we get when we are saved and so it's important that we know we're saved and if we know we're saved we will have assurance and i don't have time to get into assurance i believe in one of these videos i talked about my dad years ago wrote a track about assurance that he showed the seven times in the bible that the word assurance shows up 14 and this is the confidence that we have in him that if we ask anything according to his will he heareth us now let's go and read verse 15 as well because there's a semicolon at the end of that and if we know that he hear us whatsoever we ask we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him now do you remember when we looked at this already in first john 3 22 first john 3 22 and whatsoever we ask we receive of him because we keep his commandments and do those things that are pleasing in his sight and i told you that was a prosperity gospel passage for a lot of these charismatics and they say yeah so whatever you ask you can have it but they didn't go over here to this verse this verse is kind of a stipulation to that this verse is telling us that god's not an atm machine that just pops out money every time you come to him he says here you have to ask according to his all right first john 5 14 and this is the confidence that we have in him that if we ask anything according to his will what if i came to god and asked him for something but it wasn't god's will for me to have it then i won't receive it will i so when it says we're supposed to ask god for things what are we supposed to ask we're supposed to ask according to his will lord if it be your will would you do this for me lord if you would let this happen if it's your will would you do this that or the other thing and if it's god's will then yay if it's not then you mark it down well that's got not god's will so we shouldn't come to god in the flesh and in carnality ask god for this that or the other thing because we want it we should always come to god and say lord i i don't know what you want but lord i want your will to be done not what i want lord what you want nevertheless not my will but thine be done is what jesus said when he was here on earth and we need to realize that now verse 15 and if we know that he hear us whatever we ask we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him yeah we know that god will answer our prayers but remember the stipulation if we're asking according to his will verse 14 the problem is a lot of people ask according to their own will and they're like well god i want this so do this for me because i want it well isn't that prideful isn't that selfish i don't know if i've said it before but let me say it again did you know flesh backwards is self see h is a lot of times silent so what's the letters that are left s e l f so are we supposed to be in the flesh all the time no paul says walk in the spirit that you fulfill not the lust of the flesh so christianity isn't about what i want christianity is lord what can i do for you in accordance to your will what can i do for you jesus because you've done so much for me that's why i look at modern day pentecostals and charismatics as very carnal very fleshly and very ignorant of true christianity it's not about the prosperity gospel and you getting rich so you can go do whatever you want it's about suffering for the needs of others and trying to help others and the greatest need is salvation so devoting your life to trying to preach the gospel and give salvation now first john chapter 5 and verse 16 here we go first john 5 16 takes us to a verse that i don't know when i say i don't know i'll be the first to tell you i don't know i'll tell you what my thought is on it but also i'm i'm going to leave comments open on this video because someone might have something on this that i haven't figured out it talks about a sin unto death what is this sin unto death what is this sin that if you do you will die there are some sins that that christians can commit that are horrible and they shouldn't do certain things but god has grace on them and he doesn't kill them see here we are today in the church age in a day and age of grace grace is god giving us what we don't deserve we don't deserve eternal life right but that's a free gift that god gives us but grace is also god not giving you what you do deserve what do you deserve to pay for your sins in that burning horrible torment place so grace is god not giving you what you deserve and giving you what you don't deserve that's grace well here he goes into a passage speaking about a sin unto death so if it's a sin unto death it's a sin that if you go that route and you do that sin you're gonna die and it might just be that the lord kills you or that that sin leads to your untimely demise and you die early so what is this sin unto death i've asked a lot of preachers over the years and none of them seem to know how to answer this so let's read it and find out we're going to have to read verse 16 and 17 together in order to figure this out 16-17 if any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death he shall ask and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death there is a sin unto death i do not say that he shall pray for it all unrighteousness is sin and there is a sin not unto death so what is the sin unto death that he's talking about well remember this is a epistle and he's writing back to what they've asked so i guess they're asking them what if a man does a sin that's so bad that he dies and this is how he responds but it's very vague it's very hard for me to figure out what is this sin unto death that he's talking about the only thing that i can think of remember dual application of the book is the mark of the beast as soon as the rapture takes place then comes the tribulation period and during the tribulation period there's what's called the mark of the beast all christians leave at the rapture all those left behind will have to be followers of jesus during the tribulation they'll have to make up their mind i'm coming to jesus i'm believing in jesus now i'm going to follow jesus that's going to be very hard for them because the antichrist is eventually going to say uh guess what you have to take my mark or else cut your head off well if they take the mark what does the bible say says you're not going to be saved so could that be the sin unto death that he's talking about could there be a sin that if you do during the tribulation that if you do that sin then you can't be saved it's not only physical death but it is spiritual death so what is the sin unto death could it be taking the mark of the beast well if so then it's not for our dispensation so we don't have to worry about it right but is there a sin under death in our dispensation i i don't see it i don't see a sin that if you do in the church age that god is just going to go okay you're dead because we're under grace so what is he talking about so my thought is this is the part of the dual application and that the sin unto death is if a person misses the rapture but says well i still want jesus but then they say but i'm going to take the mark of the beast you're literally saying i don't believe in you jesus as god i believe that the antichrist is god because to take the mark of the beast is to also worship him as as god so if you take the mark of the beast then you will worship the beast and you will worship the beast as god so what are you doing you're denying the true god jesus christ and you're saying no i choose that guy as my god and that's a pretty grievous sin let me show you real quick during the tribulation period what happens to someone if they take the mark of the beast revelation 13 verse 15 through 18 and he had power to give life into the image of the beast that the image of the beast should both speak and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed and he calls us all both small great rich and poor free and bond to receive a mark in their right hand or in their foreheads and that no man might buy or sell save he that had the mark on the name of the beast or the number of his name here is wisdom let him that have to understand and count the number of the beast but it's the number of a man and his number is 600 3 score and six so during the tribulation the mark of the beast is going to come and if you say no to the mark of the beast you are put to death so you're gonna die and so you have to die as a martyr for jesus and that is through beheading you would be beheaded if you come to jesus during the time of the tribulation and you don't accept him now you don't go at the rapture then you say well over here i'm going to come to jesus well then when the antichrist shows up you're going to have to go well no dude no i will not take your mark and he'll say okay and he'll cut your head off well the bible says in the book of revelation i saw the souls of them that were beheaded so in the tribulation enduring to the end must mean endure to the end of your life by rejecting the antichrist and then letting him kill you as a martyr and then your souls in heaven a lot different in the tribulation than it is today now let's go to revelation chapter 14. but if you take the mark of the beast then you are literally spinning in the face of jesus and saying i know who you are i know you're god in the flesh but i'm going to choose this guy over here as my god instead i'm going to let him brand me like like he owns me well wouldn't god be very upset with that revelation 14 8 through 12. revelation 14 8 and there followed another angel saying babylon has fallen his fallen that great city because she made all nations drink the wine of the wrath of her fornication and third angel followed them saying with a loud voice if any man worship the beast in his image and receive his mark in his forehead or in his hand the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of god which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels in the presence of the lamb and the smoke of their torment ascendeth up forever and ever and they have no rest day or night who worship the beast and his image and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name so you take the mark of the beast it's downstairs for you so could that be the sin unto death that if you take the mark of the beast during the tribulation period there remaineth no more sacrifice for you you can't be saved now you're just gonna have to die because jesus comes back at armageddon and when he does everyone that has the mark of the beast they get pitched into that place of torment hebrews chapter 10 verse 26 paul says in the book of hebrews something that sounds quite similar hebrews chapter 10 and verse 26 for if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth that remaineth no more sacrifice for sins so there's a sin that a person could do according to paul that is done willfully there's no more salvation well that can't be here because paul tells us we're certainly secure in christ so when would be the only time if a person sins willfully it's a sin unto death it's a sin in which they could be killed for doing something the only thing that i could figure is paul here speaking to jews book of hebrews in tribulation don't do this one sin because if you do you can't be safe and here in first john the only thing i can figure is that's missing the rapture and then taking the mark of the beast if you take the mark of the beast there is no forgiveness for you you cannot be saved all who take the mark of the beast will end up into that place of torment so sin unto death must be a tribulation passage taking the mark and saying antichrist is your god instead of jesus and then when you endure to the end and jesus comes back in armageddon if you have that mark there's your death okay jesus says okay no you don't get in the millennium because you denied me and you didn't stand for me you didn't have the patience of the saints as it says so back to uh first john chapter five and that's the only thing i can figure the sin unto death is so as john is writing first john he's giving us a lot of good pauline doctrine but in the back of the mind he's thinking but you know the rapture could be any day and then out here there's going to be this that happens and there were many that were in with us that went out from us they claim to be christians well maybe during the tribulation maybe they'll get right with god and they'll be real christians but who knows but be careful so i see a dual application of first john i can't say it enough okay and this is the only place that a sin and to death would fit now some people say no no no christians go through the tribulation well why would a christian go through the tribulation have a chance to take the mark and not be saved if they are safe and eternally secure see how there's got to be dispensations if we have eternal security and we can't lose it then how could we go into a dispensation in which a person could lose it so i have always taught rapture before the tribulation and i believe that so verse 16 again if any man see his brother sin of sin which is not unto death he shall ask and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death so almost like one christian praying for another christian maybe that christian has fallen into sin well pray for him say god please let him live and please let him get right but then he says there is a sin unto death i do not say that ye shall pray for it who is praying for sin unto death i see that's that's a passage i don't know what to say is he saying don't you yourself pray god please kill me or is he saying don't pray for someone else to sin and and get i don't know so there's some things here that i still am left scratching my head and if they don't fit and i don't understand for them today then the only place they look like they fit is out here then i'm like well that's got to be for out there but like i said i'm going to leave comments open i look forward to seeing what other people might think the sin of death is amen verse 17 all unrighteousness is sin and there is a sin not unto death okay well yeah there's a lot of sins in the bible and we that are saved we shouldn't sin but if we do well what do we do we say lord i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm so thankful that i'm forgiven and i'm washed in the blood our sins are forgiven and thank you for that verse 18 we know that whosoever is born of god sinneth not but he that has begotten of god keepeth himself and that wicked one toucheth him not so whosoever is born of god does not sin again the new creature is what doesn't sin and we've looked at that already when you're saved the holy spirit of god comes inside and the bible says you're a new creature it's the spirit of god in your spirit and your soul and then the bible says there's a spiritual circumcision and your flesh is circumcised from your body and so now you're supposed to wreck in the flesh dead and it's the body that can sin but the new creature inside of you cannot sin because if it could then the holy spirit would be sinning do you see that so we are trapped inside this body and we are the soul and the spirit and this body we're to wrecking it dead because we're waiting for the new body we get at the rapture so when he says we know that whosoever is born of god sinneth not he's saying that that new creature doesn't sin now look what it says and keep it himself and that wicked one toucheth him not i always like that verse you want the devil to leave you alone just do right just do right the more you sin the more you open yourself up to the devil getting in and attacking and causing problems and things happening so the best thing to do is live for jesus and live a sinless of life as you can now you're probably not going to achieve sinlessness i don't believe that you'll ever achieve sinless perfection but you can do everything within your power to fight against sin and that's important to do verse 19 and we know that we are of god and the whole world lieth in wickedness and i find that's funny lieth well you look at the world who's in charge of the world politicians what do they do they lie they're a bunch of liars and it's true everything we see today it's just lie after lie after life how do you know they're lying their lips are moving right verse 20 we know that the son of god is come jesus christ is god in the flesh the son of god has come and hath given us an understanding that we may know him that is true and we are in him that is true even in his son jesus christ this is the true god in eternal life so who is the true god in eternal life jesus christ this is one of the greatest verses on the deity of jesus and eternal security in the whole bible it says that jesus christ is the true god and jesus christ is eternal life so the trinity doctrine must be true one god and three and the father is god the son is god the holy spirit is god but that's not three different gods that's one god one and three these three are one and who is jesus christ he is god he is the true god in eternal life this is a wonderful verse a wonderful verse that speaks about jesus christ being god do you believe jesus christ is god i do and i don't see how he can say it any plainer now i i spoke to a job a witness one time and they go well you don't know what you're talking about he said there's a period after jesus christ then it says this is the true god and they're saying that goes back to god in the early part of the verse and it says son of god and so they're saying the true god is the father jesus isn't is it god and i'm like dude you better be careful you got a demon denying that jesus christ is god when it says over there in matthew his name shall be called emmanuel god with us you got problems jesus christ is god and this is a wonderful verse that says jesus christ is god now the last verse on the entire book is verse 21 little children keep yourselves from idols idols now why would he say keep yourself from idols well first of all pagans worshiped idols but income the gnostics and the gnostics pretended to be christians but they too worshipped idols and so he says look don't worship idols if you go to a modern catholic church you see a bunch of images and a bunch of idols and you look at that and you go and they say oh they're not idols they're images and you go yeah but over there in exodus it says not to make any grave an image well well you know we don't worship them what do you do well well we uh let's go over to exodus chapter 20. i did that one time i went into a catholic church one time i looked around and said man there's a lot of idols here and one guy comes up because what are you talking about and i said well what are all these idols i said that the bible say not to make any idols exodus 20 verse 4 says thou shalt not make into the any graven image or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above or that is in the earth beneath all it is the water of the earth thus shall not bow down thyself to them nor serve them for i'm the lord your god i'm a jealous god so what are you doing oh well we um we uh they're not uh well that i said yeah they're idols no no they're images i said well the bible says you're not supposed to make any image well it's not like we worship them and about that time a woman comes over and she bows down i said well says right here you're not supposed to bow down what is she doing bow down worshiping and oh that guy i don't know if he was a priest or something but he was like his face turned red he was like [Music] in the bible idol worship is evil and idol worship is connected with worshipping of demonic spirits did you know that idol worship is connected with worshiping devils now we're going to finish here i got about six minutes but i want to get into this and just give you as much information as i can about this the brief history of idol worship let's go over to genesis chapter 11. all idol worship in the world scientists have studied and archaeologists have looked into this and history teaches that all light of worship appears to have begun in babylon so idol worship starts in babylon and here a second i'll show you some some pictures of idols well hmm that's interesting because john writes another book it's called the book of revelation in which he warns about mystery babylon the great the mother of heartless and abominations of the earth and she's connected with babylon how interesting and she's a woman genesis 11 verse 1 through 9 is the tower of babel not babel babel i get so tired when people say oh the tower of babel no it's not babel we have a word english language when someone's saying something and you don't know what they're saying they say stop your babbling babel okay so it's babylon and babel not babylon and babel i just some people they they don't pronounce words right and it kind of it's my little pet peeve please say it right say babylon and babel but it talks about this and look what it says there and uh somewhere down here verse two okay verse one the whole earth was of one language and of one speech verse two and it came to pass as they journeyed from the east that they found a plane in the land of shinar and they dwelt there so in the land of shinar is where they built the tower of babel and god came down and confounded their speech in verse 9 says therefore is the name of it called babel because the lord did there confound the language of all the earth and babel means confusion so god said okay you want to come and attack me and kick me out try to take over then i'll just confuse you and he did so babylon or babel means confusion okay so watch out for anything that comes from babylon because it's confusing and it's not biblical it's not right it's not good from babylon is where the evil came from let's go to genesis chapter 10 and verse 8. genesis chapter 10 and verse 8 and cush beget nimrod nimrod he began to be a mighty one in the earth he was a mighty hunter before the lord wherefore it is said even as nimrod the mighty hunter before the lord and the beginning of his kingdom was babel huh babylon and erect and acod and kalne in the land of shinar and he goes on even talks about nineveh and other things so in the bible there's a man named nimrod okay now if you know your history and i hope you do i love archaeology i've read so many books i devour books on archaeology and i also read the two babylons by alexander hislop a lot of people today try to say well it's not really no no that is one of the most scholarly books i've ever read but even if you omit the two babylons by alexander hislop and you look at others they all come together and they all point to where all idol worship came from and all idol worship comes from babel in babylon and the bible talks about nimrod and he must have been some fellow that the whole world knew because it says the mighty hunter before the lord so the lord knew who nimrod was the mighty hunter before the lord there in verse 9. now history teaches that nimrod married semiramis now some teach that semiramis was his mother i don't know if that's true then that's gross he married his own mother but supposedly nimrod and simiramis got together and those two together had a child and that child's name was tammuz and then you study history and you start putting all the dots together all manchester mythology all the teachings of egypt everything like that it points to this being a truth that all idol worship comes from nimrod simuramus and to moose and you go over to babylon let me show you here a book here of some of the earliest idols they've ever found in the idols they've found that are so old it's always an idol that's a mother with child because here's what happened in history this woman had a baby and i'm not a good artist so please excuse me right but this is semiramis this woman and the baby is tammuz and nimrod became so evil and he had his wife and she was pregnant that they came and they killed nimrod and cut them up in pieces 13 pieces and then she had the baby tammuz and she said now this is nimrod reincarnate from me and so she said worship me and worship the baby and that's where all idol worship started in all idol worship was the worship of a mother and a child and you begin to look at all the oldest idols in the world and what is it it's a woman with a baby and that one looks like a serpent that's interesting here's a super old idol right here it's a woman holding a baby that's uh found in cheaper here's your uh egypt isis horus seb one two three and look what it is a woman with child one more out she's giving some milk there here's a congo africa here's the woman child and she's breastfeeding so the oldest in the world idols are always idols of the same thing a woman and a baby and this all comes from nimrod semiramis and to moose now i thought i'd have time to read all this to you but i don't semiramis was called the queen of heaven and do you realize she is mentioned in the bible now the bible doesn't say you're semi-ramas but the bible says in jeremiah 7 18 jeremiah 44 17 jeremiah 44 18 19 and 25 it says that they chose to follow paganism and they worship the queen of heaven and we can literally go back in time of history and realize oh simi rammus was the queen of heaven and that's who it was and you realize the bible talks about tammuz ezekiel 8 14. in ezekiel chapter 8 and verse 14 don't have time to read it but ezekiel 8 14 says that the children of israel turned against god began to worship pagan idols and they worshipped tammuz and they were weeping for tan moose so even the bible gives us part of the history of idol worship and what i call this is the satanic trinity god is one in three well the devil says well here's my three nimrod semiramis and tammuz and all of you people need to worship isis horus and seb and that's what the egyptians call them and you go and you look at all this and you say oh wow this makes sense so nimrod was killed he was cut in 13 pieces and i don't want to get too into this i don't want to get too into this but nimrod is usually worshipped with an obelisk you know what an obelisk is and it all has to do with what we would call a phallic symbol a phallic symbol which is a symbol for a male you know what and the yannick symbol is what the woman is worshipped as and ionic is kind of like horns or kind of like a half moon and a lot of times when you see this woman she's got a moon above her or a moon below her and that's a yannick symbol you take two of those and you put them together and it represents a female anatomy okay and i don't want to get gross let me go ahead and erase that i just shouldn't be drawing stuff like that on the board you know what i mean but when you look into ancient paganism in ancient idol worship it all ties back to nimrod simuramus and tamoose it all ties back to worshipping idols of semiramis with her baby tammuz and you look at that and go that's weird and it all has to go back to believe it or not sexual stuff and paganism is all about orgies and sexual deviancy why is that well that's a good question the answer of course is in genesis chapter 6. genesis chapter 6 what happened in genesis chapter 6 well the sons of god took the wives of all which they chose so the angels mated with the daughters of men so fallen angels come with women and have sex and they set themselves up a religion and those they say hey make idols and worship us and eventually they get nimrod simiramus and tamus and they set up their own false religion and idols with them and what is pagan idol worship it is the worship of the man's private part and the woman's private part and it's all about those things now i don't want to show you too much from this book you might be asking what is this book mariela tria it's in spanish and uh it's by martin cariaga and he goes through and he shows how the worship of mary in the catholic church a lot of it is just the worship of semiramis they just changed the name look m-a-r-i mary they changed it around but he goes through here and i can't even show you some of these things but a lot of the idols that they have found i'm gonna cover up a couple places here a couple of a lot of the idols that they have found are very vulgar and very perverse and they're literally showing the man's private part in the woman's private part here is mary and he goes through and shows you how the worship of mary is really the worship of the females body part i i can't show you that i can't show you that uh but i can show you this here look here here is mary and the catholic church makes mary and the way that mary is portrayed looks very vulgar very vulgar it looks like it's has to do more with a female's body part so he goes through in this book and he shows you how canism got into catholicism and how did catholicism take over the world whenever they went to a place they found all these idols and everybody in the world worshipped the idol of a woman with a child shimmy ramas and tammuz and they came in and said well we're just going to change the name to mary into jesus and now let's all be catholics they didn't say let's get rid of the idols and don't worship them no they said no look you can worship the same idols we don't care just change the name so you appear to be christian so idol worship has endured throughout modern day and they're still worshiping idols today so let me prove to you but start with exodus chapter 34. so john is warning people don't worship idols why would he tell them not to worship idols well because that's what the gnostics did and the gnostics claimed to be christians but they followed many pagan practice and the gnostics allowed fornication in the church matter of fact let me read that to you first we'll come back to exodus but let me read uh revelation and i wanted to read revelation here chapter 2. john also wrote the book of revelation right john chapter 2 look what he says revelation 2 14 behold i have a few things against thee because thou has there them that hold the doctrine of balaam who taught balak to cast a stumbling block before the children of israel to eat things sacrifice them to idols and to commit fornication and that he's writing to a liberal church the church of pergamos that was there during his day verse 20 i was standing i have a few things against me because thou suffers that woman jezebel which calleth herself a prophetess to teach it to seduce my servants to commit fornication and eat things sacrificed unto idols so there literally were churches in asia that claimed to be of christ but they were fornicating and practicing fornication in their worship service why because they were mixing the pagan practice and they just changed it to call it christian but do christians go to church service and have orgies and fornicate no that is very foreign but that all ties into the worship of idols because when you worship idols you do that okay let me show you this in the bible exodus 34 12. exodus 34 12 take heed to thyself lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whether thou goest lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee but ye shall destroy their altars break their images and cut down their groves now i want you to see that here these idols always seem to be in groves that's interesting and so god is speaking in israel look what he says verse 14 for thou shall worship no other god for the lord whose name is jealous is a jealous god lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land and they go a whoring after their gods and do sacrifice unto their gods and one call thee and thou eat of his sacrifice and thou take of their daughters unto thy sons and their daughters go a whoring after their gods and make the sons go a whoring after their gods thou shall make thee no molten gods so these idols they worshipped they called them their gods interesting and it had to do with whoring or fornication now go to first corinthians chapter 10. when you put all this together you realize that idol worship is satanic and behind every idol is a demon i want you to see that that's why i don't go to the catholic church there's idols everywhere i see and i just go man that scares me that scares me because i know my bible first corinthians chapter 10 and verse 20. first corinthians 10 20 paul says but i say that that things which this gentile sacrifice they sacrifice to devils and not to god and i would not that you should have fellowship with devils so the gentiles the lost pagans the gentiles would do sacrifice and their sacrifice they sacrificed to idols but paul says no you're sacrificing two devils so is there a devil behind every idol is there an unclean spirit behind every one of those idols well that's what it sounds like so let's go to second chronicles 24 18. and i just want to show you some verses here i want you to get a hold of this because according to the bible we are supposed to stay as far away from idols as we can and idol worship is very very very evil because it's connected with demonic spirits we've already been warned of that in first john second chronicles 24 18. and we read and they left the house of the lord god of their fathers and served groves and idols and wrath came upon judah and jerusalem for this their trespass okay now let's go to judges chapter 3 and verse 7. judges chapter 3 and verse 7. judges 3 7 groves you ever heard of bohemian grove huh what do they do in bohemian grove well they got this gigantic statue of an owl which is the false god moloch and they do a mock sacrifice at that grove why it almost sounds like the old testament judges chapter 3 and verse 7 and the children of israel did evil in the sight of the lord and forgot the lord their god and served balaam in the groves balaam is satan balaam or baal whenever you see i am on the end of the word from hebrew that's plural so that's the devil satan baal and his spirits so demonic spirits are connected with worshipping in a grove i would never go to bohemian grove man stay away from places like that first kings 14 first kings chapter 14 verse 23 first kings 14 23 for they also built them high places and images and groves on every high hill and under every green tree now verse 24 and there were also sodomites in the land they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the lord cast out before the children of israel so you have we're speaking of idols which is worshipping of devils and you worship in groves and guess what and then there's homosexuality involved um i don't know if you've ever looked into the bohemian grove but it's real and a lot of people go there that are high-ranking people oftentimes politicians and there was a famous president i believe it was richard nixon and i asked him did you go to bohemian grove he said yeah and i'll never go back and they said why and richard nixon says too many and this is what he said so i'm not going to cuss but i'll i'll tone it down he said too many gd blanks and he used a slur term for homosexuals and he literally was confessing that there was homosexuality sodomy going on in the grove at bohemian grove where they worship a giant statue of an owl moloch and do a mock sacrifice weird weird now i don't want to get into homosexuality but have you seen this yet if you haven't seen this the bible says the abominations okay why would it be an abomination go to youtube and type in eat da poopoo all right e-a-t and then d-a and then p-o-o-p-o-o eat the poopoo and what it is it's a bunch of christians and i believe it's kenya africa and barack obama wants to bring into that area homosexuality as a human right and what they do i think it's only about three minutes long is these pastors said okay we want to know if we should allow this or not and they looked up on the internet what homosexuality and sodomy is and they explain it and then they ask do we really want this in our country and i believe it'll be an eye opener to you i believe a lot of people don't think about what homosexuality really is and if you really look at it you go whoa and that's all i can say about it it would it will help you understand what it really is if you see eat the poopoo okay and uh it's it's gonna make you cry it's gonna make you cry because that's what that is and that's where that comes from deuteronomy 29 16 deuteronomy 29 16-18 for we know how we have dwelt in the land of egypt and how we came through the nations which he passed by so god's talking to israel says now remember when i got you out of egypt all the other nations where they had practiced pagan stuff verse 17 and you've seen their abominations and their idols wood and stone silver and gold which were among them lester should be among you man or woman or family or tribe whose heart turneth away this day from the lord our god to go and serve the gods of these nations lest there should be among you a root that beareth gaul and wormwood so god says don't go into them and god says their gods little g well that takes us to greek mythology have you ever studied greek mythology in greek mythology there's a bunch of little g gods and guess what they're always doing they're always having sex and they're always having kids i have a book well i usually keep it here it must be somewhere else of greek mythology it's all about how zeus fornicated with this woman and made this half god and then fornicated with this and had this false guy and their statues and people worship them and it's just really sad that uh that that exists but it all ties back to the bible so idol worship is the worship of false gods that's what idol worship is let me write that up here idol worship is worship of false gods okay which really are devils and i believe that behind every idol there's a devil i believe somehow devils inhabit those statues and get into them and they can't wait for people to come and bow down and i believe they can get out of the statue into a person so now do you know why first john ends with keep yourself from idols don't go worshiping idols but yet we have in the world today a gigantic church in rome that says they are the true christian church which i doubt and what do you do you go into all of their cathedrals and all their churches and they're just idols everywhere and they bow down and worship to them and you say but john said not to do that so why do you and they're like shut up you know it's like no i'm not not gonna do it so what the bible says about idols just give us a couple more verses and we're done we're done with first john chapter five and i want you to understand what john was saying john was warning of these gnostics and i see the modern day gnostics as that false gigantic romanish church in which they have taken paganism a worship of idols which is the worship of demons and they mix that in the church so you got a church full of demon-possessed people and the seducing spirits are changing the doctrines and have you heard that the pope in rome is changing doctrine now and changing it and changing it makes sense well it's not the true doctrine of god it's the spirit of error acts chapter 21 and verse 25 as touching the gentiles which believe we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing say only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols and from blood from strangled and from fornication so when the gentiles first got saved they said look stay away from idols and stay away from fornication don't fornicate and don't worship idols and why those are almost like connected together because there were feasts throughout the year a pagan feast and many of the pagan feasts were to bring your child and offer it as a sacrifice and then get drunk and then have orgies and then have children and then those children were to bring to the feast to offer to idols it's just oh it's horrible human sacrifice in paganism first corinthians 12 2 you know that you were gentiles carried away into these dumb idols even as you were led so paul said look before you were saved you worship idols and he called them dumb he's not saying they're stupid dumb means they can't speak why would you bow yourself to a piece of cement or silver or gold or wood and pray to it it can't talk back although in the tribulation the antichrist has an image that that does it looks like and people worship that image second corinthians 6 16 look what it says here in what agreement hath the temple of god with idols for year the temple of the living god as god has said i will dwell in them and walk in them and i will be their god and they shall be my people so what should we do with idols verse 17 wherefore come out from among them and be ye separate saith the lord and touch not the unclean thing and i will receive you so we that are christians we should get away from idols and idol worship i have some people from time to time that contact me and say brother breaker i love your videos i've been watching and learning the bible i think it's awesome i say great and they say now i'm a roman catholic and i go oh well do me a favor would you watch my video on why i'm not a roman catholic because if you have gotten saved then i don't think you'll stay in that church for very long because that church is a lot of idols and the bible's telling us we should get out from idols first thessalonians chapter one and verse nine for they themselves show of us what manner of entering in we had unto you and how you turn to god from idols to serve the living and true god so if you're a true christian you would turn away you would turn from idols and any so-called christian denomination that has idols you would say no i'm gonna have to uh you know get away from that so that is first john chapter five so much more i wish i could get into and talk about but i felt like i gave you as much as i could and i hope it was a blessing and more than anything i tried to show you the difference between the true church true believers in christ and the false church and the true church are those that choose the bible over tradition and choose the bible over the world and choose the wisdom of the word over man's teaching and the false church are those that have taken the things of the world and i to worship and mixed it into christianity and they said now we're the true christians and you look at that you say no you're the gnostics and you've been led by demons to create a false denomination led by demons or devils and i don't want anything to do with you so there are true christians there are false christians and the way you tell the difference is through the scriptures and if someone claims to be a christians yet they have idols in their home you've got to look at that go i don't think that's true christianity i need to separate from that and if you're truly saved you would get away from idols because idols are just creepy they just are and why would you pray to something that doesn't speak and doesn't move and can't do anything for you why not pray to god for what you need not to idols all right thank you for watching this this was a great
