[Music] Shalom and welcome to via afta Israel a Hebrew phrase which means you shall love Israel we hope you'll stay with us for the next 30 minutes as our teacher dr. Baruch shares his expose Ettore teaching from the Bible dr. Baruch is the senior lecturer at the Sarah Avraham Institute based in Israel although all courses are taught in Hebrew at the Institute dr. Baruch is pleased to share this weekly address in English to find out more about our work in Israel please visit us on the web at love Israel you are G that's one word love Israel dot o RG now here's Baruch with today's lesson there is a very important biblical concept I speak about it frequently and that is the word submissiveness we can say differently to be in subjection to another and as human beings we will find ourselves both securely and spiritually in situations in relationships where it is proper for us to submit to place ourselves in subjection to another for example perhaps your student and therefore you submit you put yourself in subjection to the teacher for the purpose of learning and the structure of the class perhaps you are an employee and therefore that supervisor that manager that one who's over you you need to subject yourself to that person in order for you to carry out your obligations as an employee of that company now those are secular situations there are spiritual situations whereby God has gifted someone called someone to a position of leadership and therefore you need to acknowledge that leadership as they instruct and lead in the things of God one should submit to godly leadership so this is foundational in the text that we're going to be looking at today take out your Bible and look with me to first Corinthians chapter 11 now let me say that that this issue that we're going to be dealing with is one that we receive a lot and I mean a lot of questions about and because we are believers in Messiah Shaw and we have a Messianic identity this issue today is usually more relevant more popular more discuss within the Messianic movement than what I would say Christianity at large now that's true for the West but when we go to places in Eastern Europe and in Africa and other places we see that head coverings are also practice in these communities within Christian congregations and structures so what we're speaking about is indeed this concept of covering your head now normally when it's dealt with it is dealt with from a a secondary covering meeting something that is separate from the person whether it's in this case a kippah or in yiddish a yarmulke that type of covering or for women it can be a scarf or a Cova scarf Seif mitt pocket or we can have Cova for a hat or a wig with in some communities especially Orthodox Jewish communities of the Ashkenazi the wig can be a covering now let me say that when we properly understand this section we're going to learn two first of all he is not talking about a secondary covering he's talking about something that is a primary covering witches and I want to say this now hair we're gonna find that Indus he never mentions only one time a secondary covering the emphasis of this text is going to be on hair whether we're talking about men or women that's very important you may not accept that right now but here's the good news for our purpose we are going to go through this text word by word pay attention and let me share with you something from my heart and that is this I have no personal interests and what this Texas I could care less I want to understand it I care deeply about applying it to my life but whether it's this interpretation or that interpretation it doesn't matter to me I have no personal interest in one interpretation of the two to that of another now the second thing I want to say about this is we're going to begin in order that we keep peace togetherness and hopefully the right attitude we're going to begin with verse 16 the last verse of what we're going to talk about tonight we're going to deal with it first then we'll go back to verse 1 and go through and write up again in chapter 11 verse 16 but I want you to hear what Paul says because I can tell you based upon questions that I get how I answer those questions in regard to this issue and not too long ago rifki my wife she did a little video on this issue and it had one of the highest view rates of her videos and not only did it have a higher view rate Wow did we get responses from that now to me and let me just be bluntly honest you know to me we're dealing with an issue that is really not of relevance for the body of believers today I'll tell you why in a moment it is a little it is a secondary third for way down on the list but people for many they put it at the forefront that is wrong it is unbiblical and it really and I'm just going to be like I said very blunt and direct it shows a spiritual issue within that person I mean people get angry if you don't agree with them on this view why especially when and let me tell you I have discussed this with numerous people and I'm not exaggerating I've had this conversation with hundreds of individual over the year and more often than not people get upset they get angry they bring to this issue so much emotion I don't understand why it is not a big deal notice what Paul says and I think it's so relevant these words 1st Corinthians 11 verse verse 16 he says this is kind of a summary statement about this issue he says but if a certain one thanks and it's a consideration and the next word is the word two Greek words the first one is filo filo is one of the three primary greek words for love this is liking something being affectionate of something not necessarily in a loving way like a husband and wife but just having strong feelings for now the second word is a word strife or contention and there are people I know a lot of them that they love strife they love contention they're just sitting around doing nothing not really paying attention some issue comes up that's that's kind of a hot issue people are are contentious they're arguing these two different views and they just love to get involved in this and make matters worse kind of stir up the pot even more they like that let me tell you that type of person is not pleasing to God that is not what you should aspire to what does Paul say here it's it's not hard to interpret this these words in verse 16 go to do it very literally by the way the word but which is the Greek word day is in the second place meaning it's the second word of the text the word day can never appear first it's always in a in a phrase it's the second word but we translate it when we speak English first just a law of a new covenant Greek he says but if a certain one certain went peace anyone dokay thanks seems to be a lover of contention a lover of strife what does Paul say we such custom we do not have he says nor the Churches of God now this is easy to understand what Paul's saying is this I'm giving you instruction however if anyone wants to be contentious about this share with him then we do not have such custom who we though we are the Apostles these shellacking this is we're not teaching this as we go we haven't received this as a mandate for believers across the world secondly he says also the churches the Churches of God those who are called out ecclesia the congregations of God we don't have any custom such as this so what we have here is an issue instruction that Paul is giving we'll talk about why in a moment but there is no mandate he is not saying this needs to be followed by all of you all the congregation's know quite the contrary he says this issue that is so important to some of you he says it's not relevant by us or within the congregation's now what are we talking about well regardless of where one comes on the covering we have liberty and freedom to wear or not wear it is not a spiritual consideration these secondary coverings now why do I say secondary I'll come to that in a moment but I want to go through this section verses 1 through 16 slowly accurately according to the literal words and you're going to find when you follow that many of your Bibles they will play with the words they will not transcend Litton than literally though ad words they'll they'll they'll totally change things in order to agree with their view I can stand before you right now as I share these words standing before God I had no interest in this whatsoever from a personal standpoint I have an interest to share the Word of God accurately to you but what is said here doesn't impact me whatsoever from a personal standpoint this issue of head coverings I don't care about at all now you say well why do you wear this has nothing to do with this issue this is cultural this has other aspects to it nothing nothing nothing to do with what we're talking about today when we look at this and we get into this whole idea of covering the head we need to realize there are primary that is of the body and there are secondary which means from the body meaning not part of the body but it's for the body from a safe a scarf a Cova a hat or a yarmulke or keepa what I were upon my head these secondary things had scarf keepa all of these things are not in Paul's mind when he writes these words so this may be surprising to some of you but I assure you that is what the Word of God is saying so let's begin let's go to chapter 11 verse 1 notice what Paul says and by the way this first verse we should all aspire to say this same thing be able to say that and it's accurate why do I mention look at verse 1 he says imitators of me you be now I'm gonna translate things in the word order of the Greek I'm going to do so very literally and I would encourage you to maybe pause this video get some other Bibles around you see how other translations deal with them and try to get literal ones like the King James New King James the American Standard books such as this ESV Bible translations of that variety now if you have an intelligent I was so happy a few weeks ago we were in Portugal and we had the morning session and this individual cane and we had the afternoon session when he came back he brought in a linear then ask him to had not mentioned that but an in linear is a great tool now what is it an inner linear will have the source language whether if it's the Old Covenant Hebrew or Aramaic if it's the New Covenant it will be Greek and will have the Greek words the Hebrew words whatever it might be depending upon where you are in the Bible and I'll have a literal translation for that Greek word or that Hebrew word or that Aramaic word and it will do so without giving any thought or consideration with how does this all fit together it'll just simply say what is the actual meaning of that work now here's the problem today the problem is that most of us will go online we'll go to something that's free and you can find numerous inta Linear's online today and most of them are not truly into Linear's they are inter Linear's meaning this what they do is they have databases and they tell through computer orders or during the computer to rearrange a translation according to the order and the words of the source texts here's the problem now that's good but it's not the best because they're taking the translation and reordering that to the Greek order or the Hebrew order they are not taking the translation and making sure that it is accurately translated from the source language it's relying upon someone else's work rather than the literalness and the problem is this most of these translations even good ones like the King James New King James the ESV RSV now there's problems with all of them the RSV tends to be liberal doesn't like the term virgin for Isaiah 7:14 other thing that they change for their liberal biases but but by and large most of the time it's very literal so when you look at the Scriptures translation you always have to understand who translated it what was their objectives what is their theology because it's going to impact I honestly when we look at this text I am simply going to render it very very literally accurately based upon the meaning of the vocabulary and the grammatical consideration so look again at verse verse one he says imitators of me be just as also I of Messiah or of Christ the Anointed One is that a great thing to be able to say I'm following Messiah some Bibles translates that word to be a follower but it's not the literal word is an imitator now certainly an imitator follows but its imitators and we're supposed to be imitators of Messiah doing the things that he does let's move on to verse two he says that he's speaking to this congregation he says but I praise you why is that word but because he's dealing with a nother issue that he's coming into he says but I praise you brethren because you remember me in all things literally all things you are remembering me also just as I have delivered to you the traditions the masoor it now this comes from a word which means to hand over to pass and what Paul's saying is is that he received revelation from God and he's passed these on these think some Bibles will translate this with ordinances that's fine simply means to pass on to someone else these ordinance as these teachings these doctrines and he says just as look again just as I have passed them on these traditions these ordinances you have kept that's great he's praising them for their submissiveness their obedience then he goes on and he says but I want you to know that the head of every man is Messiah but the head of every woman is man and the head of Messiah is God now notice here's where we began remember I talked about submissiveness and he's saying here men you are called to be submissive to Messiah women and this is implying wives you are called to be submissive in subjection to your husband and an example of being submissive the best is Messiah because he is submissive to his head which is God now notice something is Messiah less than God no he's not remember the scripture says that he did not consider equality with God a thing to grasp a thing to take hold of why he had it already he's equal so you can be equal but still be submissive for example a employee he's not less he's not of less value of less significance less than a human beand and his boss there's nothing to do with that nor a soldier this is another great example someone because of a rank that he has someone else needs to submit to be in subjection to him but that doesn't mean that that private is less than a general it simply means that there's an order here and there's a purpose for that order now it's very important that we see that this is being given to us long before he deals with the issue now let's pause because we see the head is mentioned here the head of every man is Messiah the head of every woman is the man and the head of Messiah is God head Authority now what's the issue that we're dealing with I've told you we're going to see that it's not a secondary object one like a kippah or a scarf or a hat or some secondary covering it's going to be a primary what is primary me in this case of the body we're going to see that the emphasis is on hair now you don't have to accept that right now but we're going to encounter it I'm telling you ahead of time the emphasis of this passage is hair and what to do with it now let's stop for a moment let me deal with you what the issue is very important that we know this remember we are in an epistle that is written to believers in Corinth correct we've already saw because we've read verse 16 already we've jumped ahead for a moment that there is nothing being discussed here that is relevant for all believers all the congregations he said quite emphatically this is not from the Apostles we have no tradition such as this nor do the Churches of God the congregation's so it's relevant for this group and only this group now there may be other places in the world that it is relevant something similar but for our purpose when we deal with the limitations of the text it is relevant for this congregation of believers in Corinth and we need to talk about some cultural and background issues I've mentioned earlier on hopefully you've been following along in the study of 1st Corinthians and you'll remember that I said to you that Corinth is a very immoral City immoral in many different ways especially sexually secondly realize something else there were numerous prostitutes in this place it was kind of a type of port city and I don't need to go more into describing why a port city prostitution why that went hand-in-hand now here's the issue women of propriety in in this day and age and in this location they would wear their hair up on top of their head covering their head women who were of a prostitution or women of no modesty of impropriety maybe not a prostitute but not a woman of modesty a woman of integrity a woman of morality of ethics and such they would wear their hair down and what Paul is dealing with here and you'll see this in a moment many people praise God for this were getting saved in this location many women of impropriety they were getting saved God was working in their life praise and forth they were receiving that gospel message they were a new creation in Messiah sure and they would want to participate praise God for that in the meetings and they would pray and sometimes God would give them a word a prophetic word and what Paul is dealing with here is cultural concern see today if we see a woman and she has long flowing hair we don't think anything about that we don't say oh this woman is is not modest she's in proper she is a prostitute primarily we don't say things like that because it wouldn't be true likewise we say a woman that wears your hair up it's almost infrequent today and we don't say oh there's a woman of modesty it's not part of our cultural norms so what we're sharing is not so relevant today but nevertheless we need to deal with this passage and hopefully it might cause some of you to give a second thought to be not so what I would call judgmental and thinking that you have spiritual superiority over someone else remember where we began submissiveness make yourself in subjection to godly leadership those who truly love and follow this book so he says this move on he says look if you would to 2 verse verse 3 he says but I want you to know that of every man the head of every man is Messiah and the head of every woman is the man and the head of Messiah is God we dealt with that now verse 4 every man praying or prophesying and it says kata k phallus hun what does that mean having the head down now it's not speaking about your head being bowed but kata means down and the implication is every man who prays or prophesies with with something will see what he's talking about coming down on his head what does this one do he tells us he says he dishonours his head what does he mean he is not showing subjection he is not giving evidence of submissiveness so every man who prays or prophesies having on his head and the word covering doesn't appear that by the way most English Bibles have it but it doesn't appear there and if there's any interlinear that has it it is incorrect in the Texas Receptus what I'm looking at it doesn't appear there but notice what else he says verse 5 but every woman praying or prophesying okay and it says with her with the head uncovered she dishonours her head so we see differences between men and women based upon this instruction that's relevant for this congregation he says a man who prays or prophecy and the implication is with something on his head what we're coming to that he dishonours his head conversely that's at word but the greek word day conversely in contrast to this a woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered with an uncovering on her head it says this woman this honors her head so two different teachings for a man and a woman but what does he mean concerning this this covering he's going to tell us exactly what he's talking about and it has nothing to do with a kippah with a scarf or with a hat he's going to make this evident quite evident and what he's going to be talking about as we move on notice what he says let's go back to verse five he says but every woman praying or prophesying with the head uncovered she dishonours her head for it is one also the same as shaven now what's shaping I mean are we talking about shaving some secondary covering obviously not shaving has to do with hair so a st. it dis honors a woman's head it is like her shaving her head and going out in public that's not honoring of her having a woman's head shaven was was seen as a humiliation not humility but a humiliation it is to to put her down and he says that's what's happening if a woman is not covering her head then he says look at verse six for a woman now some Bibles have the definite article it doesn't here it says for a woman not covering meaning she has no covering a woman not covering also sheared he says now in order to help us understand what he means us he uses a different word for cutting off so he uses two words that which is shaven having been shaven and that which has been sheared or cut off so he wants us to be very clear he's talking and he's going to use this word in a moment he's talking about hair so if a woman has no covering her heads uncovered it is as though she is shameful and it is like her hair has been or shaven and then he writes and since not if and since it's a disgrace for a woman to what to be sheared or shaven since it's a disgrace it's not the word if it is in this culture it's better understood as sense since it's disgraceful for a woman and the implication is to be sheared or to be shaven because of that it says let her be covered now the question we have to answer is this covered with what it may be I'm wrong now maybe the answer is yes she has to have a covering for her head let her put a scarf around her head a hat on her head something along these means well is that what he's talking about here well I'm gonna share with you from the Word of God this is not Paul's intent I've already mentioned in this culture the emphasis was on the style how a woman wore her hair and we're to see this you don't have to accept what I'm saying we're gonna encounter it in the text itself so once again he says since it's disgraceful for the implication is the woman to be shorn or shaven the implication is her hair let her be covered verse 7 for a man not ought to a man ought not cover the head why not why shouldn't a man do this same thing he's going to tell us an image and glory of God being that's the order the first word a cone an image a count a thing o upar horn an image and glory of God being he is an image and glory of God but keep reading verse 7 but the woman she is the glory of a man so what it learned says who need day but the woman the glory is the man so her glory is the man man's lorry is God its order now people who say oh this is sexist well listen to the reasons why Paul is saying this see what happens most of the time when I get into a discussion about this issue is that I say it's gonna take time we need to study this passage and we need to see there's an important issue about the role and how man came into being and how woman came into being and this whole history going back to the garden no one wants to take that time they want a quick answer and it better agree with them or they don't like you well notice what the scripture does we're not called to be like as Paul says in Galatians 1:10 were not called to be pleasers of men if we try to please men we wouldn't be servants of God and let me just say it is very liberating to one who teaches God's Word to have that attitude that I'm not trying to please a human being I'm trying to do what is accurate according to the Word of God to be pleasing to him and the response of people doesn't interest me I don't lay awake at night are people agreeing with me are they accepting it that's that's up to them what we're called as Bible teachers to do is to prayerfully and diligently study the Word of God and give it what someone does with it their response to you I always think of what God told Samuel they're not rejecting you they're reject me that's what God said to Samuel I think that's exactly how a Bible teacher needs to think give him God's Word and let God handle the response the results of it so he says once again the image and glory of God is a man but the woman she is the glory of a man move on verse verse 8 for is not a man from or out of a woman now you should be writing down what the literalist of this text is because there's going to be changes in words and all too frequently the English translations the Spanish translations they're Russians because I've talked to people on these passages in those languages they're not exact they're not careful I want to translate this in the most careful way and here again it doesn't have a primary impact in the interpretation but nevertheless I want you to hear exactly what God is saying look again verse verse 8 Oh gar Steen an ear now what he says gar is like the word de it never appears first in a sentence it's always second but we translated first gar is for for not is a man from or out of a woman but a woman is from man now what's he talking about here easy to understand no debate about this when God created the woman he formed turn Genesis chapter 2 he formed her from out of the man he took that rib out of the man and made the woman correct no disagreement people say well you know there's another account of creation no there's not there's there's one account of creation one deals with it generally and another deals with it more precisely but there's one creation maybe I should say two accounts but one creation one says God made male Adam male and female he did then in chapter 2 we see specifically how he did this and we learned in chapter 2 not a different account but the same account but more accurately not in a general but a specific way that he took the woman out of man you might say because they removed the rib so he says look at it once more verse 8 for naught is man from the woman but woman is from the man and then he goes on verse 9 for also not created the man on account of the woman but the woman and the implication is was created on account of the man what does it mean they're simply saying that a woman is called to be a help mate she was created on account of the man her existence is to be in subjection to her husband now here again not popular today but this is God's order if someone says you're sexist broke that's ok because my job my allegiance is to what the Word of God says and you can have any response you want to it you know what I don't understand today is this someone has a position and and you say well because of my commitment to the Word of God I have a different perspective on that I don't get angry that person because they have a different perspective of God's Word or they don't accept anything to do with God's Word that's there right now it's going to be sad the outcome of that I like to influence that person to have a right perspective but in the end I'm not bad I don't feel rejected by that person I don't take anything personally but oftentimes they get so angry when you say well the Word of God says this and that's my position let me simply tell you it's going to get hotter and hotter more intense and more intense for those who stand for the Word of God be ready for that we see it happening all ready now notice again what he says verse 9 for also not created meaning the man was not created according to the woman but rather the implication is the woman was created on account of the man therefore look at verse 10 on account of this a woman ought to have authority upon her head on account of this a woman ought to have authority so this this uncovering of her head shows a lack of authority covering the head shows authority and notice this whole verse I didn't translate the end and it's highly important on account of this the woman ought to have authority upon her head on account of the angels and I would highlight that underline that this is very important what does this have to do with well we remember something fallen angels came down and they mated with women now it's interesting when you look at the legendary material of the rabbis the Midrash the Fallen Angels they chose ungodly women women who did not have godly authority that were not in subjection to the Word of God to the will of God or to their husbands now whether that's true or not it's legendary material but I find it interesting that it would be brought up what it's saying is that the enemy is looking for spiritual rebellious those who do not put themselves under the right leadership under subjection to the truth of God and therefore what it says there on count of the Angels may imply these fallen angels who are looking to do horrible immoral things opposed to the purposes of God verse 11 he says here however not man without or separated from the woman and not a woman is separated from the man in the Lord interesting not in Christ not in Yeshua but rather in the Lord what it says here is this yes there are differences between the role of the man and the role of the difference of the woman there are significant differences but in Messiah they're not opposed or separate from one another in Messiah they come together they complement these differences are brought together in the lordship of Messiah in a couple's life now this has serious implications and that is this when a woman submits put yourself in subjection to the truth of God the order of God the purposes of God for her as a woman in regard to the man her husband and a man also submits to the authority of Messiah what does that mean well it says in officience after five husbands love your wives as Messiah loved the ecclesia the church so it's only when the man submits to his role his ins Russians and the woman submits to hurl her instructions from God that they are made one under the lordship and it's beautiful it is joyful it is pleasing to God and here's something else it is powerful for the glory of God to be manifested and for his work to be done but we're getting now to the heart of the passage look now to reverse verse 12 we have the word host pair which is so that and it's speaking about a and outcome kind of like therefore for as much as so he said one thing and now he wants to to apply it to a situation so he says for as much as the woman is out of or from the man thus also the man is through the woman now what does he mean well he's talking about the past and the present in the past we know something the woman came out of the man but now men we have our existence because of women our mother and therefore we came into being through the women through in this case the mother so he says here look again verse 12 so that or as for much as the woman is from the man originally taken from his rib thus also the man through the woman but notice what he says but all things from God or out of God even though we know that the woman can say thank you man that I am because I came from your rib and likewise a man can say thank you woman meaning his mom because I was born through you but all of this is under whose authority God so he gets the great glory now here again we've been talking and talking what about the conclusion boys coming to this he's speaking about submissiveness he's speaking about role he's speaking about origin he's speaking about the purposes of God all of these things we need to remember so that we submit that's what Paul's trying to get across the people understand the order understand the roles understand who's in charge it's God now we are ready for verse 13 now the issue a big issue but Paul's going to summarize it and give proper understanding and instructions in just three verses verses look at it carefully verses 13 14 and 15 he says here verse 13 among you yourselves judge is it proper for women or of women to be uncovered to God praying so when a woman prays to God is it proper judge for yourself based upon what he's just revealed is it proper for her to be uncovered the implication is for her head to be uncovered and the the answer is no it's not based upon what we have been told already now move on to verse 14 or does not nature itself teach you now he's dealing with something that just should be intrinsically known he says or does not nature itself teach you that a man if he has long hair now look at this word coma the Greek word coma is going to be used exclusively here for hair has been alluded to when he talked about having it shorn or shaven cut off or shaven off but the word hair has not appeared until right now and it is the word coma it speaks about not just hair but long hair very important now once again we need to pay attention to the vocabulary and I'm translating this very very literally again verse 14 or does not nature itself teach you that I'm an if long hair if he has long hair that's implication it says a dishonor now it's a different word that we used earlier for dishonor but it means dishonouring it is to him so God says something through Paul through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit he says does not nature teach you for a man to have long hair it is of no value now that's why translated changed the word from dishonor earlier to a different word of no value to him so he says that but keep reading he says but a woman if long hair if she has long hair glory it is to her so there's a difference if a man has long hair it is of no value it's desiring but a woman if she has long hair it is her glory and what does he say about this well look at the end of verse 15 now this is important because in my time of study I looked at many translations and I didn't see any having translation accurate this is what it says ho t he call me auntie now remember the word auntie it's anti what does it mean we'll come to it then it has word peri bow lie oh they don't tie off T now I say that because I want you to know that we're literally I'm not relying upon some other translation I'm dealing with the text what's translated very differently because the long hair on T now many Bibles they say long hair for men but the same word appears what we just said call me but they translate just hair we have to be accurate we have to be consistent so what does it say but that long hair on T now that word appears if I remember right 17 times in the New Testament and one of the most frequent translations is instead of or in place of in in Hebrew when you look at a comparison they give this word BIM comb which means in place of now what's the next word the next word is Perry bow lot ooh which is literally the word which means to to wrap around or a covering now the other time when it says uncover or covered it's dealing with a verb this is a noun for a covering and what it says here is this that the long hair in place of a covering it is given to her did you hear that what I said again because ho t is for or because this case I think it's best because because the long hair in place of a covering has been given dado tie has been given in the past illest and also into the future very important that we look at the tense has been given to her now this is Paul's instruction for current that town Corinth II Corinth so I read that and someone says so you saying this man because he has long hair it is shameful well it was in this culture today not so much so and the reason why I'm not being being dogmatic about this not trying to be flimsy I have to go back to our last verse he says but if a certain one thinks to be contentious he loves strife we such a custom we do not have who's we the Apostles and nor do the Churches of God so what we can say is this today based upon verse 16 if a woman has short hair it's permissible if a woman has long hair it's permissible same thing for me now we can have our own personal base upon nature what we think and I have some strong opinions about that but those are just my opinions but when we deal with doctrine whether a woman covers her head or not or whether a man does or does not today in the Churches of God based upon the Apostles teaching we had no such custom did you hear that no such custom so what does that mean we have Liberty if a woman and we encounter this frequently in Eastern Europe you go in and the older women they all have their head covers or the majority younger ones well they tend not to not all some do but most Oh times are changing but when we look in the past not that distant past frequently women would cover their hair men would die and Judaism for the purpose of of of showing Authority submissiveness to the authority both the man and the woman its culture it's not biblical so I hope that we have accomplished two things number one we see what Paul was writing about to the Corinthians what his advice was specifically for that congregation based upon their culture situation cultural situation and what we see that our thoughts should be about this and it should not produce pointing fingers legalism this is good this is bad I'm more spiritual than you know and the last thing I'm going to say is that my hope is even
