04. The 2 Churches & Their Messages - Akeem James

[Music] all right everyone welcome back as we are covering this overarching series of the two mysteries collide today as we go into our message we are going to go into the fourth section of this eight part series and the title of this message will be the two churches and their messages so far we have covered the aspect of the papal system rising to papal dominance and supremacy beginning from 538 a.d and spanning all the way to 1798 it is not that the papacy rose in 538 rose up but rather that it established itself to the point that there were no power standing in the way of its supremacy and so from that time we saw last time from 538 all the way to 1798 we understood that it committed the act of papal oppression in persecuting the woman who had to flee into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by god where she was nourished for the same time period as the papal oppression for 1260 days prophetically which we found out is a symbol of 1260 years literally that time period we saw was interrupted in 1798 as napoleon sent in as general berthier to take the pope captive and that pope died in captivity the next year but not only that but revelation 13 and verse 3 points out that there was a deadly wound given to the papal system in that the civil power was taken away from the system france one of the most ardent supporters of the papal system turned on the papacy in the form of the french revolution and so in light of that understanding the civil power under the symbolism of the sword in revelation chapter 13 and verse 10 that civil power turned on this system causing it to lose the civil power we saw and we ended off with the reality that one day that wound which is the loss of the civil power the way that the church instituted and legislated its dogmas upon the masses the loss of that power will be restored and so in light of that understanding friends we go into our subject today in light of an understanding that the papacy's power of supremacy will be resurrected because you remember it received a mortal wound this is where we commence at this time so before we go into this message the two churches and their messages let's have a word of prayer as we start father in heaven illuminate our minds draw us ever closer to you you know that apart from you we can do nothing but connected to you connected to christ we can not only gain understanding but live in harmony with the understanding that we have gained and so guide us i pray that i will not be seen forgive me of my sins and lord use me as a conduit to communicate your word your truth the bible in jesus christ's name i pray amen so as we continue in our study today we're going to see how the papal system will be restored to the supremacy and it will be even greater you see the supremacy that the papacy had during the 1200 1260 years was a supremacy over western europe as it united with the civil powers of western europe but there is coming a day friends when papal supremacy will be wide not over just the entire then known world but over the entire globe and so how is this going to happen friends according to revelation chapter 13 verses 1 through 10 we saw the madison the papacy the little horn power but from verse 11 onward to the end of the chapter another nation another beast arises from the very antithesis of where the seabees arose this second beast arises from the earth a symbol of a scarcely populated area whereas the sea would represent a greatly populated area and so as we go to look and uncover who this second beast is let's go in our bibles to the book of revelation chapter 13 and verse 11. and what we're going to begin to see is that through this second beast the power of the first beast is restored it says concerning revelation chapter 13 and verse 11 it states there and i beheld another beast coming up out of the earth and he had two horns like a lamb and he spake as a dragon the aspect of coming up we understand that a beast is a nation or a political power but it's coming up out of the earth that aspect in the original language is an understanding that it's springing up like a a plant springing up fresh out of the ground and so it's coming up contextually as we look at revelation 13 at the same time that the papacy's power is waning ultimately being fully interrupted in 1798 february 15th so as this happens as the papacy's power is waning this power this second beast this second nation whoever it is is rising at that same time but not only this not only that it says and i beheld another beast coming up out of the earth and he had two horns like a lamb so what does this aspect of horns represent in scripture in the book of daniel chapter 8 a chapter that deals in context with the sanctuary two clean animals or two clean beasts were used to represent nations you have the aspect of the ram with two horns and then also you have the aspect of the rough he goat now this ram represented this beast represented a nation a beast with two horns and it tells us what those two horns represented as it concerns this nation by saying in daniel chapter 8 and verse 20. we read there the ram which thou sawest in other words the ram which daniel was seeing in vision it says the ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of media and persia or medo-persia the kings of medo-persia in other words the two horns were a symbol of the governing powers over the medo-persian empire the kings who governed that system it's powerful because with the first beast we saw that it not only had horns but it had crowns upon those horns a symbol that there were temporal powers that were connected to the system kings that were connected to the system but in the situation of this second beast of revelation 13 you have horns but no crowns giving us the understanding that there will be two governing powers over this whatever nation this is but there would be no kings and so as we're looking at this we're realizing that whoa okay so governing horns represent governing powers that would be governing this nation whoever this nation is now notice the way in which it governs itself because it says it has two horns like a lamb john chapter 1 and verse 29 as it concerns john the baptist baptizing the son of god as jesus was coming to him for the purpose of baptism it says in john chapter 1 and verse 29 john the baptist it says of him it says the next day john seeth jesus coming unto him and saith behold the lamb of god speaking of jesus which taketh or takes away the sin of the world so what do we find here we find in john chapter 1 and verse 29 the reality that a lamb figuratively or in bible prophecy represents none other than jesus christ the son of god so the way that this second beast would govern itself would cause it to appear outwardly at least as a christian nation so it is a power that's rising up while the power of the papacy is waning also be ultimately being interrupted by the french revolution in 1798 and as this happens not only is this power rising it's coming up meaning it's beginning to spring up but not only that it has two horns meaning it has two governing powers we'll find out what those two governing powers are as we proceed but the way that these two governing powers operate cause this nation whoever it is to appear as a christian nation and so in light of this we read next this solemn reality that whoever constitutes this nation that outwardly appears christ like it says at the end of verse 11 it says and he spake as a dragon now who is the dragon prophetically or figuratively in bible prophecy revelation chapter 12 and verse 9 gives us the answer concerning who this is who is the dragon of bible prophecy in a very basic sense it says in revelation chapter 12 and verse 9 and the great dragon was cast out that old serpent called the devil and satan which deceives the whole world he was cast out into the earth and his angels were cast out with him so what are we seeing here we're seeing that while the nation may give the outward appearance of being a christian nation it's spake as a dragon and you remember a nation speaks through its laws a nation speaks by the vehicle or through the instrumentality of its laws now something i want us to understand here is a powerful principle that blew my mind when i first understood it and that is that a nation or an individual speaks out of the reservoir of the heart this is what i want to state to us this is found in luke chapter 6 and verse 45. luke chapter 6 and verse 45 states this a good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good this is jesus speaking and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth that which is evil for or because out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks so therefore if a man speaks good it is an indicator that what his heart is good and if he speaks evil it is an indication that what the heart is corrupt therefore if the nation speaks the nation that we're covering speaks like a dragon it has to mean that it first has a dragon's heart this nation has a dragon heart while appearing outwardly to be a christian nation i wonder who this is in the powerful book great controversy page 440 it states this what nation of the new world was in 1798 rising into power giving promise of strength and greatness and attracting the attention of the world the application of the symbol admits of no question one nation and only one meets the specifications of this prophecy it points unmistakably to the united states of america some of you may have wondered is the united states in bible prophecy friends it is in bible prophecy the second beast of revelation 13 the first piece we found out is the papal system but the second beast is none other than the united states of america and i say that with the utmost respect friends this is a nation that provides many opportunities for others it is a place where people flock to to seek those opportunities it is a powerful nation i would dare say of course the superpower of the world but friends we must take that and then compare it also with what the bible is showing us that in light of prophecy we are understanding the dragon speech that this nation would speak and so friends as we look at this we're going to find out how this takes place the second beast we found out who it is we're going to go into even more specificity as it concerns the united states of america and exactly how it will cause and cause a restoration to the papal power the second beast restores the power of the first peace how do we know this revelation chapter 13 and verse 12 states this now that we've ascertained an answer as to who constitutes the second beast it says here and he the second beast exercises all the power of the first beast who we found out was the papal system before him and causes that word there is by law it's an enforcing forces the earth and them which dwell there in to worship the first beast that's the papacy whose deadly wound here it is was healed so do you see how the papacy is ultimately restored to power it is restored why because of the work of the second beast through its work the papacy once again is raised up to dominance worldwide part of the work and message of christianity in the usa will be to turn the people back to the papacy and we'll see how this actually plays out how do we know that it is christianity within this nation protestantism within this nation that will ultimately lead to the restoration of papal power we're going to find out friends the second beast of revelation 13. will even set up an image to the first beast and the penalty for not worshiping that image will be death the penalty also for not receiving the first beast's mark which the second beast institutes is also terrible and how do we know this verses 15 and 16 tells us the following it says and he speaking of the united states had power to give life unto the image of the first beast contextually so when it says here to give life unto the image of the beast it's talking about the first beast that the image of the beast should both speak and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should what should be killed now let's stop there that's verse 15. let's break that down you remember when god made man in the book of genesis he made man and woman in his likeness let us make man in our image after our likeness the idea here is a copying it is a replication so when god made man man was supposed to resemble god in character and in the spirit of prophecy it actually mentions that in some way shape or form man was actually to reflect god even physically in some way shape or form as as amazing as that sounds and impossible as that sounds god when he made man made it so so when we say the image of the beast that the usa would make an image to the beast it means it would begin to copy in itself to replicate in itself the way that the first beast operated it would become like the papal system in its operations now friends you remember how the papacy operated during the 1260 years and even prior to that as it began to rise in power the way that it operated and gained influence over the masses of that time was friends the church used the power of the state church craft and statecraft united in other words the religious enforced its dogmas upon the masses through the civil so the religious power the papal system united with the civil powers of western europe and through these civil powers instituted and enforced its dogmas upon the masses friends this is how this took place religious political power is what the papacy came became as a result and so if that is the case then we are realizing then what it means for the usa to make an image to the beast or to replicate it itself how the first beast governed itself it has to then mean that the two governing powers which by the way you probably guessed it the two governing powers then must be this aspect of church and state republicanism and protestantism these two things remaining separate the bible is revealing to us that one day these two concepts will unite church and state will unite the religious and the civil will come together and the result will be that christianity within this nation this blessed nation will be able to enforce its dogmas upon the masses because now it is working through the instrumentality of the civil power friends this is what the bible is revealing to us as impossible as this now sounds the bible is saying to us that this time is coming and god wants us to have a serious relationship with him that we form ourselves after the image of god the bible actually tells us in the book of hebrews that god also has a manifestation of his image it's not just man but it is his own son while the world is formulating or there's coming a time where protestantism will formulate itself after the image of the beast god will be calling us to formulate ourselves after the image of god even jesus christ the express image of the father's person two images and as it sets itself up it will result in the polarization of the entire world now it's not only that this image will be set up this uniting of church and state but those who do not accept that union what do you think will happen to them the bible tells us there and i'll read verse 15 again it says and he had power to give life to the image of the beast that is the first beast and the im that the image of the beast should both speak and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed friends this what we're seeing here is a depiction of the final martyrdom there are many who are dying across the world at this time for jesus christ because they love him and they love his truth they love his word but there is a depiction here in prophecy that is showing us that a time is coming when friends it will happen right here and it will happen on such a level that many will marvel but not only will church and state unite but look at what happens as a result of this when church and state comes together then christianity or protestantism or i would say apostate protestantism within this nation would be able to take the next step it says and he causes all verse 16. both small and great rich and poor free and bond to receive a mark in their right hand or in their foreheads now i wonder what that mark is contextually this is the mark by the way that the second beast is instituting the mark of the first piece the papal system many people say mark of the beast mark of the beast as just almost like as one word but friends it as you divide it up there become there come one comes to a realization that this is speaking of the mark of the first beast the beast's mark and what is that mark we read in the powerful book testimonies for the church volume 8 page 117 in an age where many are in light of the the situation of the covid crisis where many are beginning to get sidetracked in thinking that the mark of the beast is a microchip or the mark of the beast is the covet vaccine there's some chip hidden in there that is inserted into into us as humans friends we need the more sure word of prophecy to guide us back to the truth and this is what we see here in testimonies for the church volume 8 page 117 it states the following the sign or seal of god is revealed in the observance of the seventh-day sabbath the lord's memorial of creation the mark of the beast however is the opposite of this the observance of the first day of the week and friends as we have been looking in context of revelation chapter 13 it's the first day of the week that is true but it is the first day of the week the first day of the week becomes the mark of the beast when it is finally instituted or legislated when it is finally passed by law when it becomes a law friends that is when sunday becomes the mark of the beast it doesn't mean that if we know the truth today that the seventh day is the sabbath that we shouldn't take the time to come away from error and what and observe that day is god's holy day it doesn't mean that we shouldn't do that right now we should we should step away from error to keep the sabbath holy but friends saturday becomes the seal of god drewing the time of the final crisis and sunday becomes the mark of the beast when it is finally legislated when it becomes when it goes into effect as a law and we are tested upon this point it is at this time that sunday becomes the mark now that christianity begins to serve the papacy in establishing not only an image to it copying it in the way that it operated and uniting church and state the church telling the state what to do enforcing laws upon the people and also instituting the papal system's mark when that time comes it is then that christianity begins to truly to another level even though it has principles of the papacy and doctrines of the papal system in it today it is that time when on another level they are seen as immediate relatives of the papacy and how do i know this revelation chapter 17 and verse 5 lays this out the context is one of the angels having the seven vows that is one of the plagues comes to john and lays out an understanding of the judgment that is to come against the great harlot and this great harlot we're going to understand who this is at this moment it says of this great harlot in revelation chapter 17 and verse 5 and upon her head that's the great harlot was a name written mystery babylon the great now notice the next part of her name that mystery there by the way is the mystery of iniquity mystery babylon the great the mother of harlots and the abominations of the earth that's revelation 17 5. now i wonder is there a church in the world you remember we found out that a woman in bible prophecy represents a church and depending on the context it represents either a faithful church that's god's people or an apostate church now friends in this context we're talking about a or a harlot this is an unfaithful woman therefore based on the context we are dealing with an unfaithful church okay now this unfaithful church this major unfaithful church in revelation chapter 17. who the bible actually says is in cahoots with the civil powers of the earth the kings of the earth this power is called babylon this woman is called babylon this unfaithful church so we're looking at an unfaithful church that calls herself the mother of other harlots that means of other unfaithful churches friends there's only one church that actually claims that title by the way according to vatican city associated press september 3rd 2000 we read the following one of pope john's john the second's closest eights has written to bishops worldwide declaring that the catholic church is the mother of other christian churches a move which could hurt the vatican's efforts toward unity with other believers now the statement continues in this it says in the document cardinal joseph ratzinger told the bishops that it was incorrect to refer to the christian churches ranging from the orthodox to protestant churches as sister churches of the catholic church he says it is incorrect to do so and then he continues by stating this it must be always clear that the one holy catholic and apostolic universal church is not the sister but the mother of all churches there you have it right from the papal system itself it states that we are not to be seen as the sister of these other churches that we are seeking to connect with but we must be seen as the mother of these churches it's powerful because over 2 000 years prior an angel said this is what this church would be styled as the mother of other churches herself being unfaithful and then styling herself the mother of other unfaithful churches now in light of the fact that the christian slash protestant churches will exalt the papal system the papacy then is not the only one that constitutes babylon do you see that because the of revelation 17 that harlot that great harlot babylon the great she is styled as babylon the great but friends we found out that she also has daughters meaning other unfaithful churches that imbibe her doctrines that receive and practice her doctrines in themselves now if they are those churches are her daughters then that means they are babylonian in their dna that means they are part of babylon so in light of this in light of the fact that the christian protestant churches will exalt the papal system the papacy then is not the only one that constitutes babylon her daughters are also babylonian as well so while babylon the great is the papacy the word babylon in general takes into account not only the papacy but also the churches who support her and imbibe her doctrines and agendas now in light of this what do you think god is going to do do you think god is just going to sit back and allow the world to be deceived no friends god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son therefore if god was willing to give jesus to save us he is the darling of heaven then friends what would he not do in order to save us from deception which can lead by the way to the loss of salvation so god now counteracts what we're going to see as we continue to the end of our presentation today is that god does a work to counteract the work of the papal system as it begins to rise in its power because of apostate protestantism and we're going to see that work at this moment contextually after the 1260 years the devil went to make war with a particular movement i want you to see this go with me in your bibles to the book of revelation chapter 12 and verse 17. revelation chapter 12 and verse 17 this is what it states there and the dragon speaking of the devil was wrought with the woman and went to make war with the remnant that means the last remaining peace the offspring of this fateful woman the remnant of her seed which keep the commandments of god and have the testimony of jesus christ so what are we seeing here there was a woman hiding away in the wilderness for the space of 1 260 years hiding away from papal supremacy but in light of that reality friends that woman as she continues throughout that time period surviving by the grace of god not being completely wiped out as that time continues and the faithful remain faithful at the end of the seven at the end of the 1260 years god is now working on raising up a final movement a final piece of the cloth of the previous fateful throughout the ages to continue the work of upholding the light of truth to continue the work of upholding the light that had been accumulating throughout the ages and friends as he raises up this movement it is called in bible prophecy the final remnant and not only not only is it the final remnant but it is called here the final the remnant that's the last remaining piece which keeps the commandments of god and the fa and the testimony of jesus christ now what is the testimony of jesus christ according to revelation chapter 19 and verse 10 john is enraptured by the glory of what he is seeing and the angel that's leading him throughout this understanding and revelation that he's being given and as john sees the angel as he sees beyond the angel so what is being revealed to him he goes to bow down to the angel and i want you to go there with me to revelation chapter 19 and verse 10. revelation chapter 19 and verse 10 says the following and i john fell at his feet that's the angel's feet to worship him and he said unto me see thou do it not i am thy fellow servant now look at this of thy brethren keep in mind the question that we want to ascertain or ask ourselves is who are these brethren but it says of thy brethren that have the testimony of jesus worship god for the testimony of jesus is the spirit of prophecy revelation chapter 12 and verse 17 tells us that this final remnant they keep the commandments of god that's all of them and they have the testimony of jesus christ what is the testimony of jesus christ it is the testimony that the brethren possess remember we just read that that the brethren possessed which is the spirit of prophecy now who are these brethren that possess the spirit of prophecy which is the testimony of jesus christ revelation chapter 22 and i want to read to you from verse nine we're going to see who these brethren are revelation chapter 22 and verse 9 which will give us a greater understanding as to what constitutes this phrase the spirit of prophecy it says in revelation chapter 22 and verse 9 john about to bow down to the angel again as a result of being enraptured by what he's seeing it says in verse 9 then saith he unto me see that you do it not for i am thy fellow servant and who are the brethren and of thy brethren the prophets and of them which keep the sayings of this book worship god so who are the brethren that possess the spirit of prophecy it is none other than the prophet's friends this is why paul speaking of this spirit of prophecy he actually calls it the gift of prophecy in other words it's that the church in paul's day had the gift of prophecy in their midst in other words they had prophets in their midst this is why many of the apostles were not just apostles they weren't just evangelists they weren't just teachers and preachers but they were also prophets philip had four daughters who themselves prophesied not not just that they preached which is what to prophesy can also mean but also they prophesied in the prophetic sense as well so we're seeing in the new testament church a continuation of the gift of prophecy that was manifested in the old testament so in other words the final remnant the remnant at the end of time after the 12 260 years that comes into existence it would have the prophetic gift in its midst meaning that it will have a prophet in its midst friends it would have a prophetic voice and also as a result of that it would be a prophetic movement in itself so friends that's what we're looking for we're looking for a movement that counteracts the movement of the papal system a movement that keeps all of god's commandments that includes the fourth commandment dealing with the sabbath it it means that this movement doesn't keep nine commandments and then spiritualize the fourth it keeps all ten commandments spiritually and literally friends it doesn't say that hey you know that concerning the fourth commandment this fourth commandment well you know it's since the new testament it's been spiritualized and now jesus is our sabbath while it is true friends that jesus indeed is our rest friends we don't do that with the other commandments right with the other commandments we understand that there is a spiritual nature to them and then there is a literal way that they are to be kept and in the same way this church whoever it is this final remnant they acknowledge that fact that yes while jesus is our rest jesus is also the lord of the sabbath and he instituted the sabbath for man's benefit at creation therefore we observe the sabbath literally and so friends this is a movement that does that while at the same time having a prophetic voice in their midst now friends you know what that does if we are doing it by process of elimination looking for whoever this remnant is it dwindles it down from tens of thousands of churches to just a few thousand who not only have a prophetic voice in their midst but that prophetic voice calls men back to the word of god and back to his law friends that dwindles it down to thousands even hundreds and as we proceed we're going to see it dwindles it down to one movement that is existent in our that exists in our world today since this is the final remnant of the last days this means that whatsoever message whatever message we find in the book of revelation that pertains to the last days this final remnant must preach it for the church is the medium through which god communicates his end time messages and friends that's what helps us by process of elimination to come to the realization that there's only one church that is doing that constitutes this remnant of revelation 12 17. let us turn in our bibles to one of these messages that we just spoke about that this final remnant must preach let's turn in our bibles to revelation chapter 14 and we're going to look at verses 6 through 12 and then later on in verses 14 and 15 and unlock that and come to a realization of what we're seeing so revelation chapter 14 verses 6 through 12 says the following and i saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth and to every nation and kindred and tongue and people let's stop there as we look at this friends what we're seeing is that an angel goes forth flying in the midst of heaven to proclaim this everlasting gospel this means that it must conclude the sacrifice of jesus christ which is part of the news but it's more than this in connection with the cross of christ this movement is giving this everlasting gospel to the world so don't think that this final remnant will be some scatterbrained group of people just the pockets of them in little places here and there no friends just as the devil copies just as the devil i would say it this way he sets up a system and the system is filled with structure to the point that it has institutions set up all over the world in the same way don't think that the devil was able to set up that structure without first having some kind of pattern that he was working from friends the reason that the devil has such a structured movement in babylon is because he is copying the very structure of god the devil has nothing original he is copying god himself god at the end of time will have a movement that is worldwide in its proclamation and in its movings how do we know that it says the message the everlasting gospel goes to them that dwell on the earth to every nation kindred tongue and people so that means this is a worldwide message and in order to get this message worldwide it has to mean that you have a worldwide movement hence the angel represents a movement galatians chapter 4 and verse 14 paul's speaking to the people of galatia as he comes to them and he he ministers minister to ministers to them in his weakness as he's reaching out to them he is blessed by the way that they receive him he actually states you received me as an angel of god even as christ jesus himself and not by coincidence that's what the word angel means it means messenger so depending on the context the word angel can mean a literal angel or it can mean a messenger of god a human converted humanity giving the message of salvation and so hence the three angels that we're about to to look at here is a representation a symbol of a movement in these last days that proclaim all three of these messages hence we continue with finding out what this angel says it says in verse 7 of revelation chapter 7 revelation chapter 14 it says continuing saying with a loud voice fear god and give glory to him for the hour of his judgment is come and worship him that made heaven and earth and the sea and the fountains of water that's the first angel now look at the second and there followed another angel saying babylon is fallen is fallen that great city because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication and we found out who babylon is the people system coupled with the fallen churches that copied the papal system in its doctrines now look at the the third angel verse nine onward and the third angel followed them saying with a loud voice if any man worship the beast in his image and receive his mark in the forehead or in the hand the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of god which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation as a stern warning and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the lamb and the smoke of their torment ascendeth up forever day for ever and ever and they have no rest day nor night who worship the beast and his image and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name here is the patience of the saints here are they that keep the commandments of god and the faith of jesus now the question is when do these messages go forward how do we know that this goes forward at the end of time the way that we know this friends is in verses 14 and 15. i want you to look there with me revelation chapter 14 and verse 5 and verses 14 and 15 gives us a hint a strong hint it says in revelation chapter 14 verses 14 and 15 the following and i looked and behold a white cloud and upon the cloud once sat like unto whom the son of man that's jesus christ having on his head a golden crown and in his hand a sharp sickle why continuing in verse 15 and another angel came out of the temple crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud thrust in thy sickle and reap for the time has come for thee to reap for the harvest of the earth is ripe that's why the son of man has a sickle in his hand he has a sickle in his hand because the time of the harvest of the earth has come now when is that harvest in the book of matthew chapter 13 verses 36 through 40 christ unlocks for his disciples the parable of the sower who sold good seed but when that seed began to now sprout tears were also found and jesus stated an enemy did this speaking of the devil now as he unlocks that parable speaking also of the harvest look at what he says this is in matthew chapter 13 verses 36 through 40. it says then jesus sent the multitude away and went into the house and his disciples came unto him saying declare or make plain unto us the parable of the tears of the field he answered and said unto them he that soweth the good seed is the son of man the field is the world the good seed are the children of the kingdom but the tears are the children of the wicked one the enemy that sowed them is the devil the harvest the harvest is the end of the world and the reapers are the angels and therefore the tears are gathered and burned in the fire so shall it be in the end of this world friends the harvest is when it's the end of the world it's the time period of the second coming of jesus christ for it is with the second coming that this present age ends the world ends friends as a result of the second coming so what are we seeing here we see therefore these three messages of revelation chapter 14 these three angels messages which is a symbol of the messages that the final movement of god will give in the world this remnant and then right after these messages are given what event do we see the second coming of jesus christ in other words this message is the message that polarizes the world causes everyone to make their decision for or against jesus christ and as a result of everyone making their decision what happens christ returns christ comes in power and glory so friends this is what we're seeing here this is the final message therefore this is the message that the remnant will be giving and you know what happens when we see that friends by process of elimination it takes it from tens of thousands of churches dwindles it down to hundreds and then friends based on the message that we just read there's only one church actually giving this message therefore it dwindles it down to one group and we're going to see who that is by the end of our presentation now let's break down these messages the first angel says he has the everlasting gospel by the way all three messages constitutes the everlasting gospel but he starts off by saying fear god now in his ecclesiastes chapter 12 and verse 13 we're going to see the reality that fearing god this is just one out of a plethora of scriptures that reveals to us that fearing god in scripture is really a call to revere to respect and adore him by a life of obedience to his commandments one text that verifies this point according to ecclesiastes chapter 12 and verse 13 is let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter fear god and keep his commandments for this is the whole duty of man now it's not only a call to fear god and keep his commandments revere him by living in obedience to him because we adore his lovely character the law of god friends that we must obey that we're being called to obey is a revelation of the character of god romans chapter 7 and verse 12 states that the law is holy just and good friends not by coincidence god is the same therefore the law is a revelation of the character of god and as we live in harmony with that law we reveal the character of the one who made it the one who made that lord god himself and so friends not by coincidence the next call of this first angel is to give that same god glory now in exodus chapter 33 and verse 18 moses asked god to see his glory when god finally reveals his glory in chapter 34 of exodus verses 5 through 7 god states this the lord descended in the cloud this is exodus chapter 34 verses 5-7 it says the lord descended in the cloud and stood with him there and proclaimed the name of the lord and the lord passed before him and proclaimed the lord the lord merciful gracious long suffering abundant in goodness and truth keeping mercy for thousands forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin and that will by no means clear the guilty visiting the iniquity of the fathers unto the upon the children and upon the children's children unto the third and fourth generation so what are we seeing here we're seeing the reality that god is revealing that his glory is not just the light that emanates from his person but friends his glory is also his character the character of god is his glory so therefore to fear god and giving glory is to revere him live in obedience to him and to give him glory is to reveal his character now the question is why it is because right before the end of the world friends we are living in the hour of god's judgment and how do we know that there has to be a judgment prior to the second coming in short revelation 22 and verse 12 states and behold i come quickly and my reward is with me to give every man according as his work shall be now if jesus christ when he returns is giving out rewards according to men's works it has to mean there is a judgment that transpires before the second coming to determine how men will be rewarded at the second coming according to their works there has to be a judgment prior by which god determines how men will be rewarded when he comes we saw that the second angel is a call to come away from the babylonian systems that we discovered constitutes the papal system along with her daughters the in the book review and herald september 12th it actually states the fallen denominational churches are babylon babylon has been fostering poisonous doctrines the wine of error this wine of error is made up of false doctrines such as the immortality of the soul the natural immortality of the soul the eternal torment of the wicked the denial of the pre-existence of christ prior to his birth in bethlehem and the advocating and exalting of the first day of the week above god's holy sanctified day these and kindred errors are presented to the world by the various churches and then friends the third angel makes a solemn call to the world that in light of babylon teaching these lies to the world those who choose therefore to stay with these the system of deception friends they receive not only the mark of the beast but the plagues as well now in conclusion there is only one church in these last days that is currently proclaiming all that was just covered concerning god's commandments the gift of prophecy the three and the three angels messages by process of elimination all other churches do not fit the criteria mentioned except for one church namely the seventh-day adventist movement don't get me wrong friends god has an invisible remnant scattered all over the world in every religion but there is only one organized visible worldwide movement addressing the topics that we just covered two churches two messages babylon and her messages and the final visible remnant the seventh-day adventist movement and its message in light of this therefore we must make a choice as to which movement we will stand with will we stand with god's final remnant movement of bible prophecy or will we stand with the fallen churches that constitutes babylon the choice must be made by each and every one of us in this age especially if god should choose to allow us to live in the time when the crisis that we just covered will unfold may your choice be friends to stand with god's movement at the end of time with that let's have a word of prayer father in heaven we covered much today i pray lord that in light of what we covered that lord you will help us to stand with your movement in these last days we covered some very solemn truths but father as we cover these things by your grace i pray that you will give us the strength to live in harmony with that which we have discovered two churches and two messages one false and one true help us to stand with the truth and him who is the truth jesus christ for it is in
