💚 HOW TO DOWNLOAD & USE THE SIMS 4 TRAY IMPORTER | The Sims 4 Tray Importer Tutorial

so today i'm going to be showing you how you can download install and of course use the sims for tray importer so the first thing you want to do is head to the description where i have linked this link right here which will link to the tray importer website where you can download tray importer go ahead and head right to this orange download button which says download this file never click any other download buttons as they could be viruses or adverts with viruses i would recommend only clicking this orange download button because that will link to transporter so you want to go ahead and click download this file and then you'll see right here download file info now you will need winrar or some kind of unzipping kind of application or whatever you use to unzip zipped things i'm so sorry words are just not working today i use winrar and i know most people do as well but you just want to go ahead and click start download and then it's going to start downloading now once it is downloaded you just want to go to wherever your files go to download and you want to go ahead and double left click on the zip file and then you want to go ahead and again a double left click on this right here and then that should start installing these sims for train porter and then you'll see this right here welcome to the sims 4 transporter etc etc you just want to go ahead and click next and then next just go ahead and click next again and then you go ahead and click in store so now it shall start installing it and there we go it is finished it doesn't take long we're gonna go ahead and launch jane fortress we're gonna go ahead and click finish so now it should go ahead and load up the sims for train porter and as you guys can see you can see all your sims here ignore my messy library so now you should be able to see all the sims in your library and i have quite a lot but all the sims that are in your library will now show up here now if you are installing the sims for transporter for the first time you may not actually see all your sims in your library and this may be because you haven't kind of set the path to your sims 4 folder yet so what you want to go ahead and do you want to go ahead and go to file and then you want to go ahead and go to settings and then you want to go ahead and go to game which is right here and of course right now it is on autodetect so it should automatically detect your folder but it may not and if it doesn't all you want to go ahead and do is just set wherever your game folder is so of course my game folder is in my d disk and you just want to go ahead and do the path to wherever your game folder is so then of course you want to go ahead and just do the same thing here where you do with your saves folder you can read it there so there we go so then that's that's all you do if you don't see all your sims loading up you just have to go ahead and set the path to some of your folders let's get in to the beef of train forwarder so i want to start off today with showing you guys how you can find the cc pieces on your sims either find them in your folder or find them on google so we're going to go ahead and click on this sim right here so you just click on the sim that you want to go ahead and of course find the cc for if you will you can go ahead and click on that and then you want to go ahead and head to cc which is right there you want to go ahead and click on that and then now you can see that i can see all of this custom content that is on this sim so all the custom content that is on the sim you selected shall show up here now i just want to say that if let's say you got a sim off of the gallery and you save them to your library but you don't have the custom content that that sim has their cc will not show up here the cc will only show up if it is in your mods folder but you're probably wondering how do i find some of this cc on google this is very helpful when you want to of course link cc for a video let it be a creative sim or a cc hall so i'm going to go ahead and find the darling dress right here so i'm going to go ahead and right click on that and then you'll see these options here and you want to go ahead and click on find on google and then as you guys can tell it will immediately open up a tab in your default browser and there we go it googled it right for you and then of course it's going to link you to of course where this is so this is part of the girls of rules cc packs and we're going to go ahead and click on that and then as you can tell that is the dress right there then you just go ahead and you know copy that and link it in your cc list so next this is really really handy if you want to get rid of some of your custom content maybe custom content you don't use anymore this is my main way of cleaning out my mods folder clothing wise and of course like cows cc wise so i actually have some stuff that i want to let's say take off of charlie let's say lots of the cc that charlie is wearing i want to get rid of once again you click on the sim you go to cc and once again we can see all this custom content here let's say i want to get rid of all of this custom content what i do is i click on the top file i scroll down and then i go ahead and click shift at the bottom file here and as you can tell it has just selected all of this cc then what i want to do is i want to right click here and i want to click show containing folders we're going to click that now this is going to open up a god awful amount of folders and now as you guys can tell it is tracking all of this cc for me it is finding all of this custom content and now all you got to do if you want to get rid of it it's just delete it and then there we go it is gone and then you can go ahead and like shut that i don't actually want to get rid of the cc but we can go ahead and shut that and then of course you found it right there that nose preset we can delete it or if you're looking for a specific file whether you want to delete it or not this is extremely handy i've got to go shut all these i made a little bit of a mistake there didn't i but you can also find one specific item let's say i just want to get rid of the eden dress i just right click that show containing folder and then boom i can just find it delete it and then it's gone so yeah this is really really handy just cleaning out your multifolder in general and tracking down certain custom content pieces in general and now of course i've shown you guys how you can of course track the cc on google or find it in your mods folder i now want to go ahead and show you guys how you can find the tray files of your sims we have the sim charlie right here and i do actually want to grab her tray files maybe i want to upload her for some people to use and add into their game who maybe don't like using the gallery so what you can do you should go ahead you want to go up here and you want to go ahead and click this button right here export now i do not recommend to export with custom content so if you do export with custom content it will export the same with i'm pretty sure all the files will be merged together with the sim as i'm aware of but i do not recommend you do this since it is against lots of cc creators terms of service i think and lots of them don't really like their custom content being used without being proper credit so if you are of course going to let's say export this sim with all the custom content and you're going to go ahead and upload them for people to use please please please just link the cc so all the cc creators can get credit etc so we're going to export her without the custom content and then of course when we once we click export we are taken right to the desktop here and i'm just gonna go ahead and rename this charlie dot zip and you wanna save it as a zip folder and you wanna go ahead and click save so there we go then it's gonna start of course exporting your sim then you want to go ahead and find wherever you exported the zip and then you want to go ahead and double click that and then there you go you can see that you have all the tray files there ready for maybe maybe if you want to give this sim to a friend or something and they can just go ahead and add these tray files to their tray folder and have the sim in their game but that
