getting strawberry jam energy i'm getting honey jam and marmalade energy everyone has lots and lots of energy and now it is time for us to do a breakfast bounce follow me use the energy from the food to get our bodies and minds ready for the day copy me children egg apple yogurt pancake and toast [Music] breakfast is over and everyone is ready jumping up and down in muddy puddles and what do we need to make a muddy puddle dirt and water dirt and water mix them together to make a muddy puddle pepper please test the puddle this puddle is too dry let's add some more water please jump again peppa this puddle is just right nice and muddy and making muddy puddles is a bit like making concrete concrete is what we're using to make your new playground it starts off wet and soft like mud then it sets and goes hard forever right now it is gloopy like custard let me show you you see it's very soft but who can tell me what's going to happen next the concrete will go hard exactly it will set as hard as rock uh daddy pig i think you should step out of there before i'll be with you in a moment mr bull i'm just talking to the children yes but you see the concrete is soft still soft and now hard all thanks to a bit of simple science now mr ball what was it you were saying i was trying to say you should get out before the concrete goes hard ah daddy pig is stuck don't worry daddy pig i'll would like that job susie because they help sick people get better wonderful and they tell people what to do yes not all jobs are about telling people what to do oh there are lots of other important jobs like being a builder or a poet when i grow up i will be a pirate pirates sing happy songs and they go yo-ho-ho yes i'm not sure that being a pirate is a job as such either a pirate or a farmer oh yes being a farmer is much better you would grow things and make food for us all to eat and i'll tell all the animals what to do right i will be a superhero being a superhero is a very important job you have to run faster than a train jump tall buildings i don't want to do all of those superhero things but i do want to tell people what to [Music] up do up down all together now mr potato is coming in that daisy stem and thread another daisy through that hole look a daisy chain wow let me try make a hole in the stem threaded daisy through this is fun we can join them together to make one big daisy chain necklace there now you are the daisy queen peppa yes i am the daisy queen look at me look at me hello george i am the daisy queen you need to be something else oh george you can be a lion and these dandelions can be your mane george is a dandelion george likes being a lion children come and get your food look everyone i am the daisy queen and this is george the lion and i know a trick things good at finding things and really good at finding things excellent we'll take it now we can find george's lost key hooray [Applause] how does the metal detector work grandpa i'll show you imagine i have lost this coin i turn on the metal detector and swing it gently from side to side i'm looking for it here i'm looking for it there but grandpa you put the coin here i know peppa i'm just pretending to look for it why don't you pretend to look for it here here you say aha i found something it's a coin yes grandpa it's the one you just put there yes peppa and that's how you find things with a metal detector can we have a go of course let's find that lost key here here we found something no it's a nail oh keep looking here there's something else a spoon what's that doing here to choose from yes i can go as a sleepy princess from this book yes i love reading you this story once upon a time they're oh maybe i can go as the red monkey oh i love that book too hmm i can't decide all the books are good why not go as funny onion from the book that mummy pig wrote no daddy it has to be a real book not mummy's book thank you very much peppa once upon a time there was an onion called funny six eight onion nine three one two most of mummy pig's book is one big long number yes there were a few printing problems how about this book the tiny magic fairy yes i'm a tiny magic fairy and george what's your favorite book i'm sure [Music] of course your pop-up dinosaur book oh that's settled george will go to world book day as a dinosaur and peppa will go as a tiny fairy or maybe a duck quack quack it is nearly bedtime [Music] aha i'm the happy pirate from the pirate book pirates are my favorite because they are funny and they sing happy songs brush their teeth yes once upon a time there was a pirate he found a desert island and he dug up some buried treasure the end ah what an adventure that story makes me miss the sea i must set sail at once and find that desert island captain dog loves to see it's just the story daddy you don't need to set sail oh yes no need for me to set sail ever again i like the children's festival yes and not a drop of rain we've been really lucky this year oh oh i told you it wouldn't be muddy a little bit of mud would be nice this way to the making things tent [Laughter] today we're going to learn how to make something from life it's brilliant yes and we've got a whole day at the festival ahead of us at the children's festival there are so many fun things to see and do let's start with making sand castles sand castles this is the sand castle area who likes making sand castles now you might have noticed it's been raining so instead of sand castles we're making mud castles first fill your buckets with mud turn your buckets over give them a tap lift your buckets mud castles i like mud castles mud castles are the best well done miss rabbit how did you ever come up with the idea for mud castles simple it rains every year so we always make muds castles ah so what do we want to do next how about painting pictures yay this is the painting tent today we're going to paint pictures and instead of paint we're using mud oh we've got lots of brown mud and greenish mud i even found some blue mud this morning hmm what's best to paint with mud i know a muddy puddle what's hysterical redemption it's when you dress up like it's the olden days and sit around drinking tea we do more than just drink tea today we were being romans what's romans romans were people who lived a very long time ago and i am the emperor the emperor was the boss of all the romans goodbye see you next week granny pig granny can we be romans too yes peppa here are some helmets now what do we do we march around saying benny vidi romans too pepper and george have been doing some lovely pictures this morning my goodness they're very good they look just like polly polly the romans like making pictures too you know did they yes they used coloured pieces to make pictures known as mosaics here's one i made this morning can we make a mosaic what a good idea you'll need some colored pebbles follow me i've got a whole bag of pebbles in my shed this is grandpa pig's shed here we are lots of colored pebbles george what shall we make a picture of dinosaur good idea george you find the green pebbles for the dinosaur you will run around the cones like this to win a point but if anyone catches the ball susie is out and gets no points oh let's play everyone takes their positions for baton ball are you ready susie stand back everyone i'm going to hit it a million miles ready [Music] run susie run oh yes i got all the way around i win one point well done susie now it's george's turn to bet madame gazelle i think george is covered in mud i see two little piggies who need a bath george's hat is on top of some reeds in the pond lucky for us your hat is still clean george but how do we get it this is a job for a grown-up boat we could head for the tropics or have an arctic adventure we might even see it's just a day trip dear this is the canal now where is the sailing boat we're going on this canal boat i see we use the canal boat to get to the sailing boat no dear we're going on this boat for your birthday and we're sailing it down the canal but on a canal you can only go this way and that way it'll be fun come on dad it is a boat yes danny you're right a boat on the water all aboard oh i wanted to say that oh i'm sorry go on then all aboard raise the sail oh where is the sail canal boats do not have sails you just push this button to make the boat go mrs duck is going faster than our boats um can't this thing go any faster no this is the top speed [Music] george has found a ball ah careful george this is my greenhouse it is made out of glass which breaks easily oh let's throw this ball out of harm's way hi who's throwing footballs at my greenhouse ah people who live in glass houses should not throw footballs you threw it first it nearly smashed my greenhouse call that a greenhouse it's a pile of rotten old windows it's good enough for growing tomatoes i'm amazed you can grow anything in that rubbish tip i'll grow more than you do in your fancy glass box granddad dog and grandpa pig are the very best of friends grandpa why is your greenhouse made of glass if glass breaks easily because i grow plants in it let me show you these plants like sunlight and glass lets the light in oh this plant smells lovely oh that's just basil granny pig throws the seeds in a pot and he just grows oh let me show you something that takes real skill to grow my tomatoes they are very small grandpa eat one and tell me what it tastes like it tastes of nothing well they're not quite ready yet hello my little ones granny pig could i have some tomatoes please grandpa pig um no i'm afraid the tomatoes aren't ready maybe in a few weeks but i want to make tomato salad for lunch granddad dog is growing tomatoes yes maybe granddad dog will lend us some i don't think we want granddad dogs rusty old tomatoes [Music] oh bother grandpa's boat is stuck in the mud there's no water grandpa uh yes the tide seems to be out so we can't go sailing don't worry the water will come back again soon and the boat will rise up the water is coming back it certainly is the water is lifting grandpa's boat out of the hooray [Music] hello it is mr bull's brother hello sorry about the noise but we're building a road and need to knock this building down dr hamster's home for sick pets is in the way of the new road hello everyone mr rabbit is the road building inspector hmm things are looking a bit slack mr bull why have you stopped working this building is in the way i said they should build a tunnel yes a tunnel would do yes but that would be very hard to do are your machines not strong enough to make a tunnel what our machines are the strongest machines in the world we can build a tunnel i'll dig from this side i'll dig from the other side and we'll meet in the middle mr bull and his brother are digging a tunnel through the hill the tunnel has been dug [Music] and the new road is finished congratulations mr wool you did a fine job yes now all those busy people can get to where they're going more quickly the new road is so nice and straight that lots and lots of cars have come to use it they're not going that quickly hmm there are more cars using this ward than we had planned for we'll need a bigger road so what are you going to do only one thing we can do peppa we'll dig off the road pepper and george love it when mr bull and his brother dig up the road everyone loves it when mr paul and his brother dig up the road welcome to the caves it's so pretty and sparkly amazing look there's a little boat all aboard you know what because this cave is so huge and beautiful i feel fine about being down here now we go through this little tunnel it can get a bit squeezy breathe in everyone out of the boat i can't say i enjoyed that don't worry we won't go through any more tunnels good we just have to cross this chasm whoa that looks like quite a drop yes it's wonderfully deep i'll show you see how long it takes this rock to hit the bottom wow so how do we get across did you hear anything about a ride of doom money mouse said the ride of doom was the best bit uh what exactly is this ride of doom nothing to be alarmed by it's a zip fire ride over this chasm and down to the deepest part of the cage oh goodies it's really fun and of course completely safe wow uh i'm not very good with heights is there another way to uh see you on the other side wait for me if that isn't the craziest fan in the world i don't know what it is it was brilliant did you enjoy it daddy yes [Music] it's my first homemade toy aeroplane airplane george loves airplanes can it fly grandpa of course watch this uh landing is the tricky bit it is the best little plane ever grandpa but it and now that you've made a big toy plane there's no need to make another is there no granny pig um you know what i fancy a glass of orange juice good idea grandpa pig is anyone else thirsty yes please
