✈️ Asobo and Their ATR 42/72-600 Project for MSFS: All you need to know!

hello everyone my name is Owen and if you're new here welcome to my channel today's video will cover the asobo ATR 42 and 72-600 aircraft for Microsoft flight simulator for nearly two years so we'll have been working on aircraft number one of their expert series for Microsoft flight simulator and that would of course be the ATR 42 and 72-600 some of you may be wondering what's taking so long and when can I fly the ATR well this video will answer that question and more so without further Ado let's get started so we'll have been working very closely with ATR to develop the most true to life model as possible for the Sim and have showcased the extremely accurate systems of the plane including synthetic Vision toss weather radar a virtual control panel and an electronic flight back the electronic flight bag or efb will allow Pilots to calculate takeoff performance data such as v-speeds calculate trim setting manage payload and fuel manage ground services and even perform and request maintenance on the aircraft recently shared the atr's unique ability to search for parking stands within an airport using the diagram built into the MFD these systems are designed to be exactly like the real life ATR and the performance numbers of the aircraft are within a few percent of the real life model meaning the asobo ATR will perform very very similarly to the real aircraft all systems are based on original documents provided by ATR including checklists and engine data what about cockpit texturing and modeling well as stated before a sofa is working together with ATR on the systems and modeling of the aircraft so we can expect that both the cockpit and exterior texturing should be fairly good and screenshots taken from asoba's recent stream can confirm this [Music] at least when can we expect the aircraft to be in our Sim Sobo has published a 2023 update timeline shown on screen now and as you can see the expert series aircraft number one which is the ATR is due to be released at the end of April so hopefully we don't have to wait too much longer to see this aircraft in our Sims as the ATR brings many new and exciting routes to the SIM Bush flying and island hopping as well as Regional flights are going to become much more realistic after this aircraft launches so let's hope the project doesn't get delayed well that's all the information I have for you guys in this video regarding the asobo ATR 42 and 72-600 project for Microsoft flight simulator if you've enjoyed the video make sure to like And subscribe so that you stay up to date on all of the Microsoft flight simulator news thank you guys so much for watching and I will see you in the next video
