this is the global launch of princesses new why 78 so we're gonna do a full tour on this one because this is a science boat I particularly like it's right on the cusp of what you would manage as a family without a crew but of course it will certainly cater with a crew very well if you want it to so let's go and have a look on board and I'll give you the full alcoholic tour and we'll start back here it was a cockpit area big overhang a lot where they finished all this Robyn is being bare white GRP I've been a lot of work on these other things now to make them look a lot nicer and similar with this area here so this used to be like a white jarppi area and there's lovely painted finish and that is housing the fridge and a bit of storage in the bin ok let's head on in I'll show it's all about this is a particularly nice area with these big windows really letting the light flood in and some nice design features like this little coffee table that works really well we'll head on through lots of storage everywhere this is for glasses and of course it has a high-low TV just there and even on this side these little areas like this are all yet more storage for things like your crockery so it's all kept nice and safe and easy to access lovely the gallery is in the center of the main deck and that's directly opposite this very nice dining area and that as you can see will sit eight people around there with tremendous views out how lovely is that and the galley itself will that surround on this side you've got huge fridge freezers here you've got Miele cooking what else we got in here there's a storage and then things like all your cutlery even a dishwasher very good and this thing has got last window out and there's extractor fan in here and of course it's all electric cooking excellent excellent let's carry on a bit further let's see what's in this little Locker here yeah ice maker don't leave any area wasted that's for sure head over here is your lower helm this one has a side access door so if it's just like a family operated boat it means that the skipper has got immediate access out and again if it's crude as well it means that the helm can go out and down the boat without going through the guest areas if required excellent and then finally on this deck you've got this nice little snug tucked away in the front now there are two ways down to the lower deck one here and one here this is all the owners domain down here we're going to come to that in a minute but we'll start off going down these steps and taking a look at the guest areas so let's go right to the front of the boat and an appropriately large VIP guest cabin big double wardrobe some masses of space for everything these are all lockers along here I love these lighting solutions they put in so this is all indirect lighting all the way around the top of there and then of course you've got the bigger lights overhead as well so we can flip that little switch there there we go and that lighting to the mix if we wish and the switches up what the bed so you can control it without getting out of bed big hull windows so you can lie in bed with a terrific view out of a morning very nice AV equipment of course and then this has its ensuite just for this cabin in here separate shower stall very nice very nice good dressing table okay let's head on back a bit further now there are cabins three and four back here very good size again ice pick her windows these secular fellows these are opening section so you can get a bit of a breeze through here if you wish and this is the Wardrobe and then up here is its ensuite so again that is just for this cabin and then if we cross the corridor this is a day heads and then this doubles up as an ensuite to this cabin this is quite a double bed as you can see and again master so Headroom is to come in here you've really do feel like it's a big area cabin which of course is exactly what it is superb and this has got access to that day heads so tonight you can close that off and go straight into there through that door cool let's head back a little bit further and we will take a look at the owners domain and that is down these steps just here they bring us down to this lobby area and in here you've got loads of storage and the washer/dryer that's all more storage there and indeed just there and then the cabin itself well that looks like that lovely love these big whole windows a superb let's go take a look out that there is the rest of the princess range we're at the Southampton Boat Show and that is the princess display pretty impressive huh very nice these are blinds that drop down so you can also cover these windows at night should you wish maybe equipment of course and then with we head on round this one love this big dressing table just here that looks really nice the way that's finished beautiful and her back and we find the wardrobes too there's one just here another one next to it illuminated of course I was gonna say fin as well just a handy thing to have and drawers underneath and the heads well that's just here right across the boat awesome twin sinks layers of storage illuminated mirrors and a big rainfall shower and of course then they've got the shower head as well as a lovely be area nice good let's go on back on around just pause and take a quick look at that because it does look spectacular and then we're gonna have a look at deck areas and then we're gonna finish off with the crew cabin and the engine room so back out through here and I think we'll go around the deck first and then we'll come back and have a look at the flybridge this it's when your Stern berthing so these are engine controls thruster controls and it means that when you're reversing into a berth as you often do in the Med you can drive the boat from there and wash it in again if you are short-handed if you are just a family operation the boat that it's extremely useful let's head on round nice deep bull walks on these side decks that is that door out from the low helm and then up here on the bow seating so a great seating area around here and these son pads on the front with the lift up sections that you can see obviously deployed there they can drop flat of course if you prefer and then your anchor gear is right at the front let's take a look back down the boat yeah nice and again the rest of the range pick a size cool let's carry on back these little fellas here these are lighting solutions so these lights up at night and drawn a day you can drop that down and put it away and in here what I like about princesses they'd never forget it's a boat first to foremost so in here you've got things like fender storage ropes that kind of thing so when you pull your fenders in you have actually got something to put them it is massive wipers cool let's go check out that flybridge come right around the back these steps here I like the way they've done these teak treads at the kilt all the way down that's very nice from these little silver fellows these are pin lights all this is illuminated at night and this is the flybridge it's got a latest style hardtop so it's done in this beautiful metallic silver but he's nice curved sparse and again like that overhanging downstairs this is all nicely upholstered and finished so it's designed to be outdoors but it's just a bit nicer finished and you get with just the bare GRP these speakers across here and this is an extending section so if you want shade over the Sun pad you've got it not today because the Sun is too low but because we're in the UK and not in the Med this is nice this big glass panel across here so they've done away with the rails that go all the way around and that means when you're on this Sun pad you've got a much better view out of the back of the boat and it just looks really classy as well with this nice teak trim across the top of it because it a real motor yacht feel and this space here will of course you can put sun loungers out here whatever you want deck chairs etc let's take a walk through to the front big folding table so if you're having a few drinks you can have it like that if you're having a meal up here and that opens out and look at what they've done with this wood grain on here how classy is that it's all in the details on these boats beautiful bar area is on this side and this has got barbecue underneath there this is a fridge and then you've got things like the icemaker so you can cater for this whole area well they have to run up and down stairs storage in there plenty of cleaning gear it's head forward again now we've got the roof open at the minute so this of course will close over was this fabric section but as we have it at the minute you've got loads of light and air into here which is terrific it just opens this whole area out if you want it but of course if you've got really hot overhead Sun parallel across and it shades this whole area between helm seats and some great seating areas around it so you can get lots of people up here you could get half a dozen people sweat around here extremely comfortably all sat together enjoying the ride and in fact this one will also pull out you can slide this across and there that's what sunbathing area that's why you've got the sleeping bit just there and they great view out across the front of the boat superb okay what's left engines and true area and we'll find those by heading right down to the back of the boat okay here we go so the crew area is over here like little seat they put in here that makes it a nice area to sit have an evening right at water level and this is the crew area so just off here to the left you've got two beds this is a great-sized coming soon put some lights on there we go so right the way through here tons of headroom there's a window at the far end these circular things again are opening port lights so you can get a bit of air into here but it is air-conditioned as well and then some nice bits of storage tucked away and of course there is big wardrobe in behind here and showing this would double as a cabin five if you wanted it to no problem at all but four crew on a sub 84 boat excellent that's the ensuite to this cabin and then that has got a separate shower area in behind and then while we're down here we can take a left this is incidentally more laundry facilities and storage you're not short with places to put stuff on this boat okay let's head on in now these are a pair of ma n v12 1,800 horsepower engines these are given this boat speeds up into the mid 30s for a 78 foot fly which boat it's got some serious grunt at planing speeds you arranged probably around this or 300 350 miles drop it right back to displacement speeds and you'll get close to a thousand miles out of it so it depends how you want to cruise with your prepare to burn a bit more fuel and cover ground quickly or they just want to relax and really up your distances and again everything easy to reach these are your water strainers for your rural water control boxes for the engines that little fellow there that's a water maker so you can make your own fresh water and then this one's got twin generators one here and one underneath and this is all the hydraulics for things like your bow and stern thruster that kind of thing all very nicely racked out this ladder here that's direct access up to the cockpit so there's another route out of here cool head on back out and I think we'll finish up on this nice little beach blip area next to
