last year at Southampton boats I was lucky enough to grab a quick video of sunseekers magnificent 86 yacht but being a boat show it was a quick shoot round so when Sunseeker Southampton said to me hey Nick we've got an 86 yacht here that moment when I couldn't get a full video I jumped at the chance because when these boats were at a dealer I get to go into every area so this is going to be a full tour all areas of the boat including the crew cabin engines the lot so that's it on board and I'll show you around now this one has the high low platform at the back this of course will take a dinghy Pratley to take a thing get to about four four and a half meter so you get a really good tender on here and then access up to the boat stairway here so this is the cockpit and you've got a massive AV on here so it's shaded all the way to the back and of course that makes the flybridge larger as well so that works very well we're gonna do the inside first and then we'll go do all the deck areas fly bridge crew cabin and engine room so let's start just here look at that that is magnificent absolutely stunning I really like the deck or in here they've gone with a satin finish wood so it's not the high gloss the high gloss is great and it's really classy but I do like this satin I think that looks nice big windows of course we're looking out into Swannack marina at the moment especially this boats natural resting place will be somewhere warmer but just familiar what this is doing it's very nicely there's a dining area up ahead and over on this side you've got features like wine coolers so pretty barriers to keep everything nice but what I do like is what is on the other side because it has another set of sliding doors and this one has the side balcony look at this so this drops down when you're underway you take these bars out lift it up and becomes part of the side of the boat but when you're at rest you can put it out like this and you can imagine what a great place that would be when you're anchored off of Portofino there's some nice company and some good drinks stand out here of my boat and wait for dinner to be served brilliant it also means of course that when you are having your dinner here you've got a tremendous figure out in connection with the water okay let's head on forward see what else we can find now up here there's a couple of things to mention there's a de toilet so people aren't having to go down into the cabins and planetoids down there and when I use those during the day and ahead of that is the helm position there's a side access door as well on this side so the crew can come and go without going through the saloon this is amazing classic some secret look at the way they finish this it's beautiful three big cigarette screens and you can confuse how you like there's got the radar on at the moment and AIS and then you've got chartplotter and radar here and this one is the operating systems of the boat so if I hit menu for example you can bring up things like an overview of tanks you can get back to menu and you can look at maybe I don't know DC power so everything that controls the boat is on here but one thing I noticed when I was playing this earlier which is really clever is drawings now what you're going on here is order schematics for the boat for the wiring and the plumbing so that's a really helpful feature if you're on the boat and you're looking to maintain it if you're part of the crew that will take it to everything that you need to see anyway let's come out of that and we'll take in the rest of the boat this is a lovely area it's a separate little snug so people can sit up here and have a drink away from the main crowd if they want to and also you've got the galley here now they say all the best parties end up in the kitchen but you can imagine sitting around here of an evening having a few links in the chat being served on this bar that would be brilliant and I've got a feeling I may be wrong but this looks to me like it may rise up because it looks like there's a mechanism here and over here to close this off which would make a certain amount of sense there's also a door on this side and as we go into this area as you can see it's a great size and the equipment in here is absolutely top-end stuff so if you look at these refrigeration units for example it's all stainless steel it's really pocket professional stuff another side access door so the crew can come and go into here and out to the deck without going through the guest areas and of course all the cooking and there's a door at the back so this allows them to serve straight out into that dining area so again it's a very well configured and laid out boat we're going to back through here and we're going to head down now to the lower decks and have a look at the cabin accommodation so if we head down here we'll head back first I love this Lobby area it was fantastic light and with it on these stairs that was brilliant guest cabin and what they've done with is that they put tracks in the floor so you can have this is a double is it at the minute or you can slide it across and have two singles if you didn't have it as a double opponent that you'd probably have a custom mattress made as well as you didn't have the gap down the middle but obviously at the minute it's set out so people can choose whichever they want and this as you'd expect really nice ensuite superb okay there's another guest cabin then over on the port side very similar on this one they've actually split the beds apart so you can see them as they are as two singles lovely big windows in here so you get a terrific view out imagine waking up at anchor and seeing the bay perhaps ain't good off for San Tropez or something awesome another lovely ensuite now where it gets interesting is when we head a little bit further forward because this cabin is full beam this is a master cabin spec cabin and I say master cabin spec because you can choose there are two really good cabins like this and I show you the phone in a minute so you are very very lucky guests with this cabin all you're the owner and it depends how using the boat whether you've got guests on board or families to whether you want to be near the other cabins or not but I'll say I'll show you where the other one is in a moment this area is lovely they're just sitting hold a breakfast in the morning again big windows of the view out and as you'd expect a really lovely ensuite and a separate rainfall shower fantastic the other thing you have in here in fact is a proper dressing room so if we head round the bed and pass this dressing table masses of space in here for all your clothes hanging in my house of course and storage very very nice okay other lighting in here is well the way it's all diffused around here rather than just standalone light bulbs I mentioned that it was another master Kevin area if we get back up these steps and take ourselves left and forward we'll find another stairway so this is I put the front of the boat we can head down here and this takes us into a completely separate self-contained area that is a really lovely double cabin now excuse all the cushions Sun City here South Hampton did a brilliant trouble getting all the covers off for me and putting the cushions out these are for the bow and when it came to these I said they please just leave them where they are they'd spend about an hour already getting it ready so please excuse ease imagine it without them on but it is a fabulous cabin really good size it's also accessed from here up onto the fore deck so there is another way out of the boat to the front if it's ever needed and of course wonderful ensuite with its separate shower that's a great Kevin so as I say it depends how you're using the boat whether you want to take yourself away at night from your guests or there with your family and you want to have that for be mid cabin as your own a cabin with them perhaps your kids right next door that's your privilege as the owner to choose okay and so we're going to head it back out it here work or here back and then we've taken the deck areas we'll start with the fly Ridge and then work our way all the way around the outside and end up in the crew quarters and taking a look at machinery okay slipped my shoes back on good access to the flybridge is up these stairs and you can see the way they put lighting underneath all of these units so at night everything is just bathed across the floor and a soft glow so you can find your way around and it just lights everything very subtly and very nicely this is the bar area and obviously it has things like a barbecue underneath here ice make a fridge I love these chairs they put around it so people can sit around here and have a chat be served by the crew awesome big sunbathing area at the back and you've got this wonderful big deck so you could put some steamer chairs right here whatever you like and you get a real sense of the scale of this boat from here because there are some big boats in this marina but we're looking down on pretty much all of them incredible another thing I like it's got the full hardtop and it's done in black but then then color-coded all of the domes the radar of lights even the aerials of black so that's some serious attention to detail going on there and this hardtop has an opening station you can just see the white bit there that will power back so if you want the sunshine to pour in you can have it it also lets a little bit more light into here and you've got seating around a table great place to eat outside I love this area up next to the helm so we own to wake up and sit around here chat talk the guys at the helm and get a great view out there's even a sunbathing area that they put right at the front and in fact this will drop down to extend that so cool the walleye out here they can do and then the helm itself of course and all the repeats of the instrumentation this is quite an interesting thing this is displaying views with things like the engines on the back of the boat and you can keep an eye on stuff when you're running the boat okay one thing I will say whoever parked this boat in here he's a braver man than me because it's a huge chunk about that said of course it's got boughs and stern thrusters on so it's pretty manageable if you know what you're doing right let's go ahead around the deck next as I say we'll finish up the crew areas and the engine space which is pretty damned impressive as you might imagine okay so this polishing is built over there so I apologize for the noise of that model but I can do big overhangs so my superyacht feel as you walk around and then this door here is from the galley now the door I was mentioning so the crew can come and go well that going through the guest areas all this is lit all the way around now this is what those cushions will fall in the forward cabin and you can see what I mean I didn't want to trouble them to drag everything out through the whole boat just to put them out here because we can get a perfectly good idea what this is like and that is a seating area around the table and then a big sunbathing area up front this would be lovely when you're just cruising gently down the coast to lie up here and watch the sea escape slip past your ground tacklers at the front twin anchors and anchor winches yeah it's the real deal all right look at that magnificent okay let's head back down the other side past the balcony this is the door out from that helm position and this is that side balcony it's a great feature and that is that access back into the saloon and the dining area from here but we're going to head on back and we're going to find the crew cabin and we're going to find the engine space so to do that we're going to head right down to the back of the boat actually it's a lift platform and then down here is a lifting door then we go there's a little bit of gear in here but you can see exactly what it's all about there's a nice seating area it's like the mess area from the table TV there's a microwave up there VHF radio put it in here as well so they can monitor the VHF channels as they want to they have their own heads and that has a separate shower stall so that's all good and then as far as sleeping goes where there are two cabins both twins so you've got bunks in here already good-size do some window in there as well actually this is all storage long areas like this laundry facilities are here as well of course as we head round here there's another twin bunked crew cabin and finally engine room [Music] so these engines are MTU and they are 1950 PS each I think that's around about 2,000 horsepower each so plenty of grunt there look at the size of these even a turbochargers like dinner plates across here two layers of course so you've got another one on this side and a high spec on this boat so she even got things this is a water maker so you can produce your own freshwater and then if it go on round there's a generator tucked away and you can see all the plumbing and wiring as well and here these are the exhausts absolutely massive more systems and then on the other side is the second generator so twin generators of course on a boat like this and again really good access to everything somebody somewhere and there's what all that does I'm afraid it isn't me okay this ladder incidentally accesses a hatch in the floor of the cockpit so that's giving a second route out of here if it's ever needed okay so come back out of here and we'll head back up on deck and finish up so that's it that is the Sunseeker 86 yacht huge thanks to Cynthia Southampton again in that ready for me and allow me to film it and I hope you enjoyed the tour if you had you can give the thumbs up a click that always helps and please do also subscribe if you haven't already because we've got some great videos coming up thanks for watching it's been great to take you around and I'll catch you on the next one take care good bye you
