£1,700,000 Yacht Tour : Fairline Squadron 68

this is about I've been very keen on filming this is fair lines brand new squadron 68 this is a really cool looking boat its brand new here at the can Boat Show and I've been very keen to get on board some for a while because I'm quite a fan of hell and I think they make some nice boats and this one it's very much state-of-the-art for them it's the biggest boat they build so this is a real statement of where they're at right now and it was gonna start at the back here and you probably notice lot this for yourself but there's a highway platform of course but this is a great little beach club area this just folds away so you lift it here and the whole thing then just folds in on itself and these are smooth back and while we're at the beach Cove area in Frank look at this this is nice that is a shower so you can have some swimming show yourself off that's brilliant anyway we're gonna head on board we're gonna do the full interior on this one we're going to do the engine space the crew cabin the decks if you've been watching my videos you know the score I'm not gonna start here in the cockpit just a great size you've got this folding teak table a nice seating area and that of course is under the shelter of this hardtop which again is very nicely finished even down to things like these panels just here so it's not just bad GRP and they've coloured it around here just to get a bit of contrast that works well a lot of neat little detail going into just that area there okay there's a head on inside now this has opened a little bit further and this it retracts as well but the air-conditioning is on keeping it cold at the moment so they've left the gap very small so we'll head on through and this is the saloon now this is a galley off layout I fell undo various options on this boat you can have the galley aft you can have a galley down you can have a three Kevin you can have a four cabin there's lots of choice when you order one of these new but this is a great size area this is a bar down here so you can see it's got space for the glasses and they've really used every inch so you if you look on the outside the flybridge steps you can see them going up there and if you come on the inside they've put high-level drawers they actually that's the step where so again they're trying to put every inch of space to use big fridge freezer all electric Miele cooking there we go and I'm not I'm gonna guess as a dishwasher and I will be guessing correctly nice bar area opposite how I look in here yeah storage in there and in that one too and a couple other things I like I really like these massive glazing that they put into the boat and look at this in the ceiling they've wrapped the wood in sections across the ceiling it gives it a really nice feel and the woodwork in this is exquisite very high gloss very nicely finished I love these little curved bits like this that's very good indeed and then your actual saloon area is here so you've got a nice social area or dining area as a seat opposite there's a high-low TV that's in the raised position at the moment of course these lights are nice where they're in set and then we'll head on forward and we'll find the helm some really great power adjustable biznes only seats they look really comfortable and then it's all glass - and you can configure this how you want it set up with a minute with chartplotter radar and plotter and basic navin instrumentation gauges are here so everything is electronic but you can change this you can have engines imitation completed on there you can have whatever you want of course and bounce to an thruster on this one as well which makes life a lot easier when you're maneuvering and all this is dark so that none of it will reflect on the windscreen when it's a sunny day and this is all bright in here you can still get a great view out as a one-piece screen as well which is pretty good okay let's head on down to the lower deck now this boat is a three cabin you can have a galley down here you can also have this made into a fourth cabin and what that would mean is you would lose this little area here it could also lose the day heads so this has actually got a separate loop just for people drawn a day to come down on you so that nobody used to go into anybody's cabin but as I say you can lose that and then what you would have then is they would have an access here to one of these other lose but another interesting option will go into this cabin first and I'll explain it to you so the minute you've got a VIP guest cabin right at the front great sized huge bed and of course plenty of storage there's a wardrobe in there storage all around the top and there's an access hatch and of course that's giving you a bit of ventilation as well if you want to have that open another wardrobe and this has a perfectly good ensuite here now if you had the four cabin layout you would probably use one of these or there's another one on this side and put a door in to give access for the fourth coming to that toilet but what you can have if you wish is you can take this threshold all the way back to here this then becomes all floor space and then this moves back into here so you lose the day heads but you get a really wonderful extended VIP cabin which feels more like a Muniz cabin so there's lots of options and lots of choice with this boat third cabin is over here and that is twin beds and that has its own ensuite so each of these cabins as I say it has its own ensuite and none of these are a date ordered because they are separate so on a 68 foot boat that's really quite a luxury feature and as I say it just gives the space to give you other options if you want it right let's head on down owners cabin nice huge bed again in here really white and it's a little higher than these to put an earlier fare line so it feels more like a better than that's like a futon but masses of headroom over it a B system of course from the wall love this little dressing table they've slaughtered in here and there's massive windows on either side and then the Lisa of course is storage all the way down along here love the lighting as well the way they've inset it down inside here and every bubbles well you can see my hand there you can see that's shining outward so you've got indirect lighting in here and then back here there is a water open great size and illuminated and if that's not enough for you there's a little secret one if you push just here your wardrobe is a while cool and then back here well that's a really nice ensuite okay it's right across the boat big window at the far side and again some really neat lighting solution so they put lighting down along here and a rainfall shower of course excellent okay let's head on back out we'll have a look at the deck areas the flybridge on this one is particularly impressive and engine space and crew cabin are still to come as well stay tuned as they say right back up these steps and ones think we'll take a walk around the deck first or pause briefly here because that is just such a nice sight that class this big galley through the doors and if we take a right and we can find ourselves on the side decks you can recompression this glazed me into this boat when you stand out here it's huge okay head on forward now up here is a very generous bow area and rather than just the seating here they've also put in a seat this way so you can drop this down if you want to make that all sunbathing we can lift it up I mean it's a terrific social area and all of the anchoring gear and so forth that is all concealed in here so it doesn't spoil the look at the boat so if we open that one yank it winches well there's your anchor it gives out through the front of the boat rather than over the top and that one then I'm guessing yeah anchor winch very good very nice let's check out that fly Boosh this is a few interesting things up there as well so I'll have back down here that's far as new f33 that's just come back in hoping to get a quick look at that if we get a moment as well right cockpit and then around to the stowaway now this is a really enclosed stairway normally these stairs are sort of you just got hanging out in the open a bit but with this when you walk up here you'll really feel like it inside the boat so that's a very secure access and up here couple of things to point out with the course you got this big seating area around the table this isn't actually the wet paths it's just a bit of storage in here for your glasses and bits and pieces and there's more storage underneath we'll come to the wet bar in a moment there's a great little nook next to the helm SoCo can sit up there get a great view and a boat's underway chat to the helm or it's just another social IO and it when you're at rest and then again to these great helm seats and all good Ascot but you can see this one's actually configured to engine instrumentation so look on this screen here you can probably see it and this is fir'aun's own monitoring system so if we hit the home button it takes you into all the operating systems of the boat so you can go into for example the fuel there tells you how much fuel it's got on the boat go back to home go into the power management so that's quite a neat touch and overhead this is particularly interesting so normally on these hard tops you get a big fabric roof that rolls back not on this one it's got solid panels and they tilt as you can see what's clever about it is you get loads of light and air through it but you can tilt these so they'll go right through a hundred eighty degrees so you can give yourself a bit of shade while still having it open pretty much wherever the Sun is so the sun's of that way for example you can have it like this that works very well now this is the actual a wet bar up here so underneath here we have got the sink and there is a barbecue under this one all these moldings incidentally feel really solid and heavy they feel really good very high quality fridge is there an icemaker is there so that caters for this area really well and what I particularly like it quite often on this sort of boat you end up with some pads at the back know what Ferren under so you can have some pads if you want you can have pretty much what you want on this air you can even leave it completely open but what it's on this boat and I really like it is they put these seating areas so you can sit up here with a terrific view out just try it out and and I think that makes a lovely area imagine being an anchor and set up here the drink on the table got these glass panels so you're unobstructed view awesome because that fell on an F line that's a cool-looking boat okay we're going to check out the crew cabin we're go check out them the engine room and I'll do a really complete tour of this fine ship so break down why are we going to go first I think we will have a look in the engine room and that is access just here so [Music] these are a pair of Caterpillar c18 engines I think I'm right in saying they're just over a thousand horsepower each I think they're 1150 from memory and they're given the boat about 30 knots Pratt's out which is ample because there's tiny baking normally cruise at about 20 but you've got our top end if you need it huge fuel tanks are either side that little further there so they need to see is a camera so when you're running the boat and you're out at sea you can actually look into this space check of Ling's okay from those screens of the Helms and your Headroom in here [Music] and say the truth tank out there and then you've got all of your various engineering down around this corner this is the generator we're gonna head back up and we're going to take a look at the crew cabin [Music] [Music] let's drop that one back down okay now the crude habit is accessed from the bathing platform this is the normal way on this type about so we go back past this beach-club area now this I think for a 68 foot boat it's pretty impressive already so you've got two nice wide steps down and then there's a big area here with two single beds in it there's a wardrobe of course it's all nicely lined nicely finished there's a window there so you've got plenty of natural light into here as I say for a sub 70 foot boat that is a nice cabin and of course it has an ensuite that's way over here little sink and it's a wet room so you put a shower in there as well but yeah I think that is is very nice okay let's head on back up and I think we will finish this tour at the beach club so that is it that is the fair line of squadron 68 I think that's a really cool boat I think with some great ideas into it some lovely styling
