Watch This - Unrecognizable AFTER [Extreme Furniture Makeover]

I'll be redesigning the base, so I'm trying to understand how it's constructed. I don't see myself using these, so I'll probably sell them. First let's sand off all this point. There's supposed to be a snowstorm tonight. Trust the process. That's the one. This wood was salvaged from a previous project. 15 degree angle. It needs a base for the legs to sit on. Now let's make some legs. Sometimes I can't believe wood is a thing. Now I'l; modify the skirt. A neat trick for drawing a perfect art. Now I'll match the angle to the legs. I also made the side and back skirts using scrap wood. It's stain o'clock. Wood conditioner before staining to minimize blotchiness. The veneer is very red, which I'm not a fan of. So I'll stain the body dark, but keep the drawers light. First I'll use some dark stain in these cracks. That I'll give it a shadow illusion to make them look like red gaps. Gel stain in "Kona." Paint thinner to wipe the stain (oil base). Gel stain in "Early American." Sock. Gel stain in "Kona." Adding some tone variation will make it more intresting. Using paint thinner, I'll wipe and blend the stain. This should make it look more natural. My orignal plan with handles have changed. After finishing up the drawers, I really like how they look. Adding 15 handles on them would just look too.. cluttery. So, I decided to just do one handle per drawer. And we're done. Thanks for watching :)
