A Completely Contemporary Makeover from an Ordinary Dresser

(leaf for kitchen table) Now I'll match the angle on the skirt. Water based stain in black. Diluting with water about 30% to lighten the tone. Brush for nooks and crannies. Q-tip for the nookier nooks. Looks dull, but the grain will pop back out later when I spray poly. Now let's make some handles. Sticks of oak taken from the back of a daybed. I'll be spraying a water based poly in satin finish. Glue dots. I'm just sticking them in line first. After, I'll clamp and screw them in. And we are done.
