greetings folks today we're at a place called the black fryer which is in Salford where they're famous for making ginormous pies now you're supposed to share one of these pies between four people but if you can finish one solo in one sitting you don't get it free but you get your drinks paid for for the entire evening which arguably I'd say it's better right apparently you get to choose um lamb lamb or chicken or something but the lamb one has a big bone sticking out of the don't make any jokes there a big big shaft of bone sticking out of the at the top of it so I thought I looked cooler and I think it comes with what it mash and something else mash and veggies mash and veggies and gravy gravy all them boys love [Music] gravy just wait for the pie to be made now naturally pies take a little while to cook you know how much it costs no suppose the idea is really to order more than the cost of the pie in drinks if you win right cuz then not only you kind of getting it free you could really abuse that and I me of course I'm not going to but uh you could order like I don't know 200 quids worth of drinks if you if you can take it that's the real challenge yeah we'll have some fun with that I think it's been a rough couple of months do you think he's going to beat this one um yeah I think you will supposed to say no come on supposed to say no you need to clean that lens man a a lightweight so I'll probably be done after 3.14 drinks you get it high 3.14 you don't have to laugh for those Terri yeah it was pretty do you want to tell us what's in the pie so it's a bra lamb shank pie so in there is about five lamb shanks we just put the one bone five lamb shs got five lamb shanks work with meat all right gravy root vegetables carrots ciac swed and then it's about 800 G worth of pastry around the outside and the mash and the greens as well it's got half a block of butter in there as well just to just to help it's pretty heavy I I don't really want to think about how much he weighs je how much he weighs about 3 kilos didn't never told you look like Tom Hardy before yeah they have yeah they have said that a few times yeah that's why my wife married you reckon I'm good to eat it now yeah two one who's good oh man [Music] oh that's hot there's no need for that tactically I'm taking some of the filling out here let it cool off a little can I get a a glass of not a huge fan ofone you know tell you the truth anyway shut up people tell me I talk too much in these videos I'm not sure I want to eat a full bowl of peas just after the pie should I put some on the peas in the pie thatat a lot of people it's kind weird to eat separately should really have eaten the peas first you know the greens get excited about that [Music] do you never beat that reaction you know when somebody walks in and sees all the camera gear and a person eating like a pig they look like they've been out on a hike yeah I bet they were very healthy [Music] cou you might want to set fire to that I wouldn't bother trying to wash it I'm going to leave that with you there's another one there as well oh I totally forgot about that one I'm a collection of napkins going thank you of butter which is depending on the size of the stick what nine calories per gram there are a lot of calories in this it's like a dome of mashed potato now it's [Music] thick I don't know how much room I'm going to have left for [Music] alcohol done with a pie nothing to you as well if I ate that I'd be like blowing up on all portions the people of sulfa are clearly easily impressed so that's 21st century equivalent of a traveling fre shows in it suppose if I'd been born like 200 years earlier I'd have been in one of those show shows I [Music] reckon almost yeah that's amazing yeah you were laughing at me at the start this has been mix food and that was the black frers giant pie [Music] challenge FR that was heav delicious though did you like it it was really good yeah yeah good you have to say that now he did it so fast 28 minutes 28 minutes that is amazing yeah oh thank you very much I've never seen anybody like that before yeah that's probably a good thing though it means only
