[Music] uh [Music] hey there showers [Music] so you are sora now then have you seen the king yet yes we did master but we didn't get a chance to talk to him yes the king has been quite busy of late therefore it would seem that the task of instructing you three falls upon my shoulders you have a perilous journey ahead of you you must be well prepared you mean we have to go on another quest i was looking forward to finding my friend riku so we could go back to the islands yes i know however everything in your journey sora is connected whether you will find your way home to the islands whether you will return alone or with your friend and whether or not the islands will still be there and the key that connects them all is you sora i'm the key chosen wielder of the keyblade you are the key that will open the door to light [Music] this book contains valuable knowledge you will need for your journey study it carefully once you have finished we will speak of the enemies you will surely confront but wait a sec how come the heartless are still running around your past endeavors did prevent an immense effusion of heartless from the great darkness make no mistake about that however the heartless are darkness made real and darkness yet lingers in every heart the heartless are fewer but while darkness exists in a single heart it would be difficult to eliminate them of course that must mean if everybody's heart was full of light them heartless would go away now it is time to speak of the enemies that you will encounter if one such as you donald yields to the darkness in their heart they too will become a heartless but you know this the heartless are always lurking and ever seeking to capture new hearts never let your guard down now then at times if someone with a strong heart and will be they evil or good becomes a heartless the empty shell they leave behind begins to act with a will of its own [Music] an empty vessel whose heart has been stolen away a spirit that goes on even as its body fades from existence for you see no bodies do not truly exist at all nobodies may seem to have feelings but this is a ruse they only pretend to have hearts you must not be deceived nobodies they don't exist now then the being you see before you is known as a dusk they are the most common form of no body but there are others some larger some with frightening and unique powers be vigilant [Music] on your journey you will meet an alarming number of dusks they will all attempt to do you harm [Music] still they are nothing but empty shells destined to return to darkness [Music] but [Music] the beings you see before you now are different these powerful nobodies have formed a group called organization 13 it commands the lesser nobodies organization 13 while heartless act on instinct no bodies function in a higher manner they can think and plan and it seems they are working towards a goal what that goal is we do not know [Music] the king sensed the danger and journeyed forth to fight it he found the dark realms keyblade and with it close to the door now he's traveling from world to world fighting the heartless as he seeks the answer to the riddle of the nobodies and organization 13. then i guess we better go find the king first [Music] well we won't know till we look yeah and the king must know where riku is because the two of them were together in the realm of darkness when we closed the door you know after defeating ansem so before you go you will need more suitable travelling clothes those look a bit too small for you through there you'll find three good fairies if you ask they'll create for you appropriate garments of course sora you sure are growing fast uh i guess [Music] foreign so you guys ready to go [Music] now now just a moment because of your previous endeavors the worlds have returned to their original states that means the pathways between them have disappeared how do we get around do not fear if what the king suspect it proves true the worlds have prepared new pathways along which you may travel these pathways may be utilized by special gates [Music] how these gates are opened i'm afraid i do not know however the keyblade will serve as your guide when a beam of light radiates from the keyblade return to the gummy ship though the worlds may seem far apart and out of reach they nonetheless remain connected by invisible ties as do our hearts our hearts are connected that is correct got it but be warned as you proceed the heartless and the nobodies will be using their own paths corridors of darkness to travel from world to world they may be attempting to link these dark pathways to the gates between the worlds how what's worked for [Music] now then that is all the information i can give to you go forth sora donald and goofy not cured him of impetuousness he has left with an object to his power he does not understand nor know how to control mickey imagines my star shard will be of help in his current quest and like you he is eager to use his keyblade to set things right i'm not sure i even understand what's wrong master xehanort is missing and now i've learned there's a masked boy who is controlling those unversed on the loose to arrive at the truth perhaps you should approach things differently first consider them one and the same problem master xehanort and the unversed are connected somehow i must not make assumptions fine xehanort terror that is where you should begin yes sir i had hope to xehanort your heart would no longer lead you astray yen said sir we just got a clue as to where the king might be [Music] aventus huh ericus has told me much about you if i am not mistaken you were ordered to return home well sir i no matter huh mickey has difficulty following directions too where is this clue to mickey's whereabouts [Music] this fellow ben quest of female 8 veggie sure that's what i usually go by what one did that for please explain i ran into mickey but we got sent flying into the light i don't know where he went he wasn't in the same world as the one where i found that as i thought mickey has been hurling himself from one world to the next that explains why i could not discern his location [Music] yes i can there is a dark and powerful force that is interfering with my magic just tell us where the king is mr yen said sir and me and donald will go right there and save him you two that may not be adequate but i'm the captain of the king's royal knights a real husband i'll find him i recognize the place we saw no i owe him mickey saved me once i can't risk putting his friends in danger [Music] don't worry i swear i'll bring him back safe very well ventus we will leave it to you [Music] king mitty aqua the stars bring me grave news master ericus's star has blinked out i am afraid that means he has been struck down the master but who is responsible [Music] master xehanort and terror no that's absurd tara would never i hope with all my heart that you are right about your friend there are some things even the stars cannot tell me where is he where can i find tara tara's heart is leading him to the ancient keyblade graveyard where wielders of those weapons once waged war all right i have to go after him and see if it's true be on your guard where am i aqua you lost consciousness fortunately mickey found you ventus drifting in the lanes between and brought you back to me to receive proper care i am sorry but there was no sign of terror i see then ventus the boy's heart is sleeping when will he wake i could not say it is almost as though his heart has left should it return he may very well wake should it not then he may sleep like this for all eternity now i'll keep him safe until he wakes forever if i have to i will tell you what your friend needs right now it is not your protection he needs you to believe you see ventress's heart hangs in the balance it sleeps in the place between light and from all i can perceive that means he will be looking for a friend one who believes in him to show him the way home just as long as you love him then ventus will be able to find you when he wakes he can follow that love back to where he belongs the realm of light oh don't you worry aqua i believe in ben too gosh he's been as good a friend to me as anybody and if both you and me believe in him with all our hearts then he'll have two lights to follow instead of one three lights tara but tara's gone maybe for good i think i know how to find him [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] yen sid i think we're finally close to figuring out where ben's heart is is that so then that leaves only terror right and we've got to save all three of them hmm the question is what does zeonat intend to do next xehanort but his two halves are gone there was ansem who commanded the heartless and xemnas who commanded the nobodies didn't it sora defeat them both [Music] correct those two met their end however they're in lies exactly our problem their destruction now guarantees the original xehanort's reconstruction huh xehanort's heart once seized by his heartless half is now free and his body which had become his nobody has been vanquished both halves will now be returned to the whole in short this means master xehanort will return and you think you think that maybe he's gonna try something a man like xehanort will have left many roads open well it doesn't matter what he hooks up me and sora will be ready and riku too yes they are indeed strong but not true keyblade masters like you tell me would a single one of you suffice if what you faced was not a single one of him what what do you mean mickey please summon sora hither riku as well of course but why to show us the mark of mastery one dream is connected to another which means we must choose in which sleeping world you will begin i will return you to the destiny islands just before they were swallowed by the darkness and plunged into sleep once dreams take you you must let them guide you to the sleeping worlds as there are seven pure lights there are seven sleeping keyholes unlocking these will both grant you new powers and free the worlds from their weightlessness complete this task and return here safely and i will name you both true masters he'll be just fine as long as riku is with him ah you don't think no master yen said look it's a raven oh that raven is maleficence why that's minis gorge what's it say it's from maleficent she's kidnapped minnie she took too many the letter says for me to return to disney castle or else mickey there is no time to waste okay you fella stay here gosh i guess you're right pals we friends need to stick together mastery and sid we'll be back hmm the timing is too perfect too calculated maleficent must sense a change in the forces of darkness a change like xehanort [Music] i sensed something was amiss nearly the moment sora and riku departed xehanort must have known what we were attempting before we even began but you do know where they are you must understand this examination is in no way how the mark of mastery is usually found however in light of what they must do next it was a necessity if sora and riku complete their test by finding the seven doors corresponding to the seven pure lights they will return home with a new power at that point they will both be true masters however the dangers make this more trial than test but are they safe right now considering their ability i would like to believe that they are however all my attempts to locate sora and riku end questionably they are not is a devious tactician there is nothing we can do that he will not to some extent be able to predict so as you can see the organization's members are complete people again xehanort will be no different we cannot afford another moment's hesitation we must consider any strategy to outwit xehanort and catch him off guard [Music] i must warn you again the road will not be easy fine let's jump right in master yen sid gosh do you think he'll be able to do it hmm it's clear you cannot teach a cat to bark but merlin and the three good fairies are aiding him in a place that's more temporally flexible my hope is that he can at least learn to wield it he certainly has fire so i suppose it depends now on how strongly it burns oh but what about sora and riku well if we are running on the assumptions they are not knew what we were planning then he still would need to have been there back in the very place and time when the destiny islands were lost to darkness otherwise sora and riku would have been beyond his reach [Music] gee do you really think it's possible xehanort could have planned things that far in advance no as a matter of fact i do not but what if he did the same thing as sora and riku did and he jumped through time for that to work a version of himself would have had to exist at both source and destination not even xehanort can transport his whole body across vast reaches of time [Music] oh oh no i remember xehanort did give up his body it was a version of him that was possessing riku [Music] no it cannot be could he be that cunning possess that kind of foresight if it's all right with you can i go help soren riku out how you cannot enter the world of a dream where will you go if xehanort really is behind all this then they won't stay in the dream worlds forever eventually they're gonna reappear somewhere that we can go reach them and we can even probably guess the place follow the hearts and you'll find the way that's something master aqua told me once [Music] we're going to ah fellas you're my best pals but this time i really do need to go it alone the dangers are greater than anything we've ever faced before if something were to happen to sora and riku and me oh i you'll be the only ones left to keep this world safe mickey i was not able to locate sora but i sense riku's presence in the realm between trust your heart and i know you will find him thank you i promise i'll bring them both back safe and sound seven lights thirteen darknesses master xehanort has been busy aw sora don't tell me your heart sleeping too no mickey this affliction is not the same can we do anything for him now in your mark of mastery exam you were to unlock seven sleeping keyholes by doing so you would awaken those worlds from their prison of slumber and also acquire the power to free a heart from its sleep riku you unlocked those keyholes within sora's dreams therefore it stands to reason that you now have the power to awaken sora's heart you want him to dive back into sora's sleep but master sora's heart is down in the darkest abyss if riku's not careful he might just get trapped down there with him no i'll go instead and perhaps you may even succeed mickey but there is no denying riku stands the better chance having dived into sora's heart as long as he has hmm mickey i really appreciate it but i'll go wake sora up riku look at his face sleeping like nothing's wrong like there's nothing to even worry about he's always been like that the three of us would agree to work on the raft and then this guy would go take a nap on the beach you see it's my job to keep him on his toes besides what kind of keyblade master sleeps through his test i'm doing it for me too sora saved me once and i heard him call my name he needs me [Music] there's something real strong that binds us to each other even in the darkness you can reach him all you gotta do is follow that connection gee we're all connected to sora and if the admirably both of you more than anything i am grateful to have you both back from xehanort deception unharmed and i am grateful to lee whose spontaneous actions turn the tides i am also deeply sorry for failing to perceive the danger and throwing you headlong into a perilous test this experience has revealed many hidden truths and we must gird ourselves for the great clash with darkness that lies before us i believe we need a new keyblade master one with a new kind of power sora and riku you both deserve the honor however one of you braved the realm of sleep again to unlock the final keyhole and save a friend riku i name you our new true keyblade master way to go riku yeah i knew you were gonna pass with flying colors this is just so awesome gee sora you're kind of acting like it's you that passed yes hey really i'm a keyblade master congratulations riku thank you mickey i owe it to my friends i'll catch up with you in no time flat what you want to be a keyblade master yeah i mean i came here to learn how to wheel one you hey thanks for the vote of confidence you know i was gonna come swooping in keyblade in hand but i just couldn't get mine to materialize must be in the snap of the wrist or something the keyblade wars of your plunge to the true kingdom hearts into darkness and the keyblade was shattered but the light still shining in the hearts of children rebuilt the world that we know today and the light from the broken keyblade was then divided into seven to protect the number of pure hearts in the world seven pure lights they're the princesses of heart indeed those seven pure hearts form the very source of all light in the world if they are lost the world will again give way to shadow thus even if we deliberately avoid finding our seven lights to avert another keyblade war xehanort will still target the seven princesses in order to forge the key blade so there's gonna be a clash between seven lights and thirteen darknesses and there's nothing we can do to avoid triggering the keyblade war [Music] to protect the seven pure hearts we will need seven lights strong enough to stand against the thirteen darknesses so we're missing one guardian of light [Music] riku you're back that's right master yen sid i brought you the guest you asked for but you never said why i have come to learn that you too can wield a keyblade i'm glad you are here the great battle with xehanort is almost upon us as you know we must take action to keep the seven pure lights safe and thus we must hasten to assemble the seven guardians of light it is time to return to our world the three keyblade wielders we lost over a decade ago ventus terror and aqua must be saved from their sad end for they have more to achieve following their first battle with xehanort ventus's heart refused to awaken and so aqua found a safe location to conceal him but when she set off in search of her other missing friend tara she fell to a place from which there is no return without outside help [Music] i saw her in the realm of darkness i thought i heard her voice in the distance [Music] she sacrificed herself to save me why did you keep it for me for so long i had to respect her choice what about us you could have given us a choice we could have gone and helped her i know do not be rash riku as mickey told you clearly in his story reaching the realm of darkness the first time was not a simple task and even if we had found a way back in regrettably none of us possess the necessary means to get aqua back out safely so i forbade mickey from telling you let alone going after her why keep it secret that much is obvious if not you then certainly sora would have staged a reckless attempt at rescue [Music] but now we can help aqua you and i we're gonna go find her yeah count me in yep who's this new riku and where's the old one knew me yeah you're more like sora should i be flattered i try too hard to be the role model it's more fun to just listen to my heart which is sora asked well we still like you master i came here because i wanted to help somehow what can i do i have entrusted the wizard merlin to oversee the training for our new keyblade wielders yourself and lee we he means axel what ah he's a regular person now he even saved sora for us you can trust him come on riku it's time for us to go first we gotta find an entrance to the realm of darkness mickey take these along with you the three good fairies ask that you'll be presented with them they are new vestments which will shield the both of you from the darkness thank you master okay let's go you were gone a long time what were you doing secret i'm back huh what just us the others all had important work to do so i sent them on their way that's great they could have said goodbye actually it is not i just like to say goodbye to all my friends i'm here now right we have matters to discuss in order to defeat xehanort there are allies we must gather acting now to rouse them from their slumber we have discussed this before sora your mark of mastery exam was conducted in the hopes you would acquire the power to wake them however the darkness nearly took control of you and your grasp of your new abilities leaves much to be desired furthermore xehanort nearly made you his vessel and in the process stripped you of most of the power you had gained by then i suspect you've already noticed this correct swirly whatever happens all the time yes chip and dale are currently analyzing data that and send the wise provided to riku and which could offer us a clue to retrieving our friends lost hearts i have very high hopes for this data however our greatest chance of stopping the xehanort's plan still lies with you sora if you trust the guidance your heart gives i know we will find all of the guardians of light but first you must regain all the strength you have lost perhaps it is foolish to expect a complete recovery but it is absolutely vital you perfect one power the power of waking which you failed to master during your exam there's someone who lost his strength and found it again a true hero to whom you want to pay a visit perhaps he can point you in the right direction [Music] you can count on us to take care of sora i've had it no other way i put soda in your hands [Music] huh i never would have thought you failed that exam sora hey what's up [Music] oh trail ends meaning all traces of her vanish into the great abyss beneath the realm of darkness [Music] no sora was dragged into the abyss during his exam and i went in after him so i think if we find someone who was really close to aqua and they make the dive they could reach her down there i'm not sure who's even left to ask juventus is hidden and aqua's the only one who knows where plus nobody seen tara in ages aqua was the last so aqua she's going to be the key to finding all three yes their teacher master ericus would have been another possibility said not not mercilessly struck him down i'll save her huh but sora that's gonna be super hard since you don't have the power of waking huh sorry i have no idea why that just popped out well it was pretty convincing yeah better not let us down sora you must focus on regaining your lost power of waking mickey and riku i recall that master aqua journeyed to many worlds and connected with others who could be the link we need good plan sir riku and i will retrace her steps and see if we can find any sort of clues but first hmm we got hit pretty hard in the realm of darkness my keyblade was damaged and the heartless broke riku's clean in half so we're gonna need to get replacements before we can continue in that case rendezvous with kyrie and lee they are continuing their training under the tutelage of the wizard merlin yes sir also i would like you to deliver these for me are they yes they are the same as the ones i gave you special vestments to shield kyrie and lee from the darkness we got him what no fair what about my outfit master sure don't problem you want that i can't exaggerate settle down i have new clothes for you too sora yeah a gift from the good fairies i knew you'd come through for me thanks those are no ordinary garments like before they have very special powers so it took extra time to prepare them in addition there is a gift from chippendale inside cool okay happy now yep now you're all ready to proceed hey wait don't forget about me [Music] every journey worth going on needs a cricket to keep track of it and i can't let you start this one without old jiminy cricket by your side the whole team's back yeah good now to mark the beginning of a new journey i wish for you to have this sora okay that is a heartbinder think of it as a good luck charm made just for you you have a gift sora for let's go bother more princesses well as the original princesses of hearts time for protecting the pure light has ended they have passed the light to others our enemy must certainly be cognizant of this if the new seven hearts is what they wish to call them so be it [Music] but kyrie hasn't passed on her power is she one of the new seven she must be but still she chose to wield a keyblade and fight with us as one of the guardians of light [Music] what hey at least we've tracked down ventus venetus told us that he's inside sora's heart and so did ansem the wise in his data so it almost certainly must be true that's great now we can rescue then maybe except aqua's the only one who knows where he's hidden we still have to find her first [Music] i'll go what is that wise you need the power of waking sora do you have it uh no probably not without that power you are not ready to face the realm of darkness come on [Music] what's so funny sorry master yen sid knows you a little too well he said you'd try to stage a half-baked [Laughter] rescue laugh it up sora i know you're volunteering because you're worried about me and mickey [Music] yeah well thanks but the power of waking is important you can come to the rescue once you've got that sound fair [Music] yeah all right but be safe no reckless stunts [Music] yes sir [Music] no not exactly he just doesn't think if only he listened to master yin sid the way he listens to riku that would be a good start i'm listening [Music] now very good sora will continue his journey to build his powers while mickey and riku will focus on the search for aqua yes sir [Music] at last we are all assembled [Music] first sora riku donald goofy mickey i cannot thank you enough for what you have done [Music] and you aqua and ventus we are fortunate to have you back thanks i only wish we could have returned to help sooner we're grateful to all of you for rescuing us thank you i feel bad for letting you guys down oh we tried but we still haven't found tara don't he studied with master erikas just like us he's our responsibility [Music] mickey told me that you saved me in the realm of darkness i should have gone to help you right away but i was too inexperienced i'm sorry i know that i let you down no just the opposite did you know riku is a true keyblade master now that's wonderful [Music] good for you [Music] roxanna wants rock girl do you remember oh gosh that little girl was kyrie [Music] i guess it must have worked the spells that i cast on you i'm sorry those days are hazy for me but it sounds like i'd have been in trouble without you so thank you please you were really very little anyone would forget hazy memory or not [Music] this is all very touching guys but where do i fit in van looks just like roxas or is it roxas looks just like van [Music] and now i have to explain all of that to him which is in itself a crazy long story and apparently everybody already knows everyone and this is an insane amount to get memorized sorry lee you remember me yeah of course we're friends i can't believe you became a keyblade wielder just like me oh yeah axel you know venn axel who's axel c c see major brainic huh now who not to worry folks to help us out i've given each of you a gummy phone they've got summaries of everything that's happened so far that way you can read up if you'd like and if anyone has any questions we can call each other he's always prepared mm-hmm well we've got our seven guardians yeah but i do wish that roxas and nominee and tara could be here with us too since when do you mope sora come on tara's gotta be with the organization which means we'll have a chance to save him leave it to venn and i will bring him home yeah i made tara a promise i said i'd be there for him when he needs me and i'll figure roxas out don't know how but i'll get him back namine is right here safe with me i know that we'll find a way to help her trust me i'm not giving up [Music] kyrie's right we're all in this together sora and donald and i are no keyblade wielders but we'll always be right there to help keep you steady we've got your back not just now but [Music] always [Music] that again [Music] it's a shame that all of our friends could not be here but our seven guardians of light have united perhaps you might say that we have nine guardians with donald and goofy given time i know
