we're excited to show you one of our new exciting units the explore rv xr22 an off-road expedition travel trailer and toy hauler we want to do a overview outside inside and demo their extreme suspension package so come with me and we'll take a look at this awesome trailer this is 22 feet long dry weight is about 6 400 pounds explore rv is made to do extreme off-road like you've never seen before in a hybrid suspension system that allows you to do on-road travel and off-road travel in an extreme way we have the option it comes with a standard 2 and 5 16 ball mount or a full lock and roll articulating hitch setup so you can swap that out depending on what your adventure for that time is going to be our lockable storage compartment with batteries and a very stout ladder with a walk-on roof this roof is six inches thick we have a rooftop tent up there for the kids or if you're feeling like you want to sleep out and get a good view you can be on the rooftop tent it's a six inch walk-on roof very stout we have here our tandem axles dual pane windows throughout the polyurethane windows for true four season package you'll see a full length awning this is a 18 foot awning with led lights it is electric automatic in and out as we come around to the back of the trailer here you've got two full-size spares and you see the ramp door this is wide enough for either a single quad or a snow machine explorer rv and nelson industries got their start making fish houses so they're rated for minus 40 up to 140 with three inch sidewalls like i said again six inch roof and a four inch floor so this is a cool way to get one of your quads or snow machines or motorcycles or mountain bikes in in this model the xr22 coming on the outside you can see the led lights around the top so your camp is lit up all times you do have a 36 gallon freshwater tank as well as your city water pressurized water fill this is something i want to draw your attention to the gray the great tank drain is above the frame so your frame is the lowest part of the entire trailer for true off-road experience without worrying about dragging any of the low point drains give your roto packs for either water or fuel storage and then you've got two 5 gallon lp tanks here along with a manual crank up tongue jack let's go around to the other side i want to demonstrate the on-road and off-road capability through the hydraulic lift system all right now i want to show you a few things with the trailer all closed up here with the awning rolled up you can get a better view of the two-person tent this is an insulated tent by fsr two-person quick pop-up tent you just unlatch the bracket up top and the tent is deployed on its own without any hassle and then the most exciting thing of the xr22 is their combination of on-road and off-road capability here at this vantage point i already told you that the lower uh underbelly of this trailer is totally sealed and everything is above the frame we're traveling down the road now at 12 inches of travel and then you can raise it for eight more inches of travel from 12 to 20 inches for off-road capability now going down the highway i have less wind drag i've lowered my center of gravity and i've lowered my side to side wind exposure when i get to where i'm going and it's time to hit the trail i hit the button here and the xr22 raises from 12 inches of travel to 20 inches of true travel with no low point drains no gray or black tank exposure nothing hanging down below the frame this is awesome just like that 20 seconds and 10 inches more of travel to hit the trails this is why we're so excited about the xr22 now let's take a look inside the trailer welcome to the inside of the xr22 from explore rv here we have a double bed in the back with just a quick press of the button you can lift this bed and then you've got your dinette below to seat four you can see all the way throughout the top of this coach you have the positive latches and solid wood cabinetry it's not any veneer finish a solid piece of wood here storage all the way through you've got tons of countertop space here a double below mounted sink three burner cooktop as well as a propane oven tons of storage on the driver's side as well we'll have you get a shot of the control panel all of the the quick touch control panel with your battery disconnect all of your awning controls here right at the at a quick touch of the button all of them are backlit so you can see where you're turning on and off at night on this side of the coach you have your wardrobe space you have your separate fridge and freezer it's a seven cubic foot this is a residential type compressor refrigerator so it's cools quicker it's more efficient one thing about the control panel that we forgot to mention it actually has an air compressor on board to fill your truck tires or your atv as you're hitting the trails in this expedition trailer and the bathroom here we have a dry bathroom separate shower sink full lavatory you have what's called a dry flush toilet so there is no black water tank here so it is a true four season so nothing is exposed nothing to freeze keep in mind this is built in wisconsin specifically for the extreme cold weather if you're separate very spacious dry bathroom here in the front you are now in the nose of the trailer in the v so that's the explore rv
