[Applause] my [Music] [Music] good evening ladies and gents and welcome to another Q8 pilot stream it is 2100 hours local time 1800 Zulu here in Kuwait City Kuwait where this broadcast is being streamed live to you we are currently situated at Los Angeles International Airport in the State of California in the United States based on popular demand we are going to be flying the Los Angeles San Francisco route today and the Zebo mod Boeing 737 with the latest update and uh of course I want to welcome all of you guys in chat before we begin George welcome aboard my friend and thank you very much to spinning mushrooms for joining the elite membership group here at the channel uh thank you for your subscription to senior Captain leis welcome aboard thank you very much for your support and my dear friends Rand kly and Stan welcome guys glad to have you here Chris welcome aboard glad to have you here with us during this live stream we have also with us James and Joshua welcome guys John lose Parts Welcome Aboard glad to have you here Hardy McKenzie welcome aboard very uh very glad to have you here with us uh today and the weather isn't isn't that great today here in Los Angeles and here is a quick look at our beautiful Delta uh November 373 uh Charlie at the registration number of this Delta 737 and uh we are situated in very close proximity to Runway 24 left our departure Runway today for the flight quick look here at uh Sim uh our navigraph charts uh for our flight briefing today we are Delta 78 Niner service from Los Angeles to San Francisco we are departing Runway two for left showing a Tailwind uh through the summer 2 departure and we are arriving into San Francisco hopefully the weather is a little a little bit better H at our destination airport um at San Francisco we're arriving Runway 28 left left through the surfer for uh arrival or a start um navigraph has uh recently um added a new feature which is the FAA sectional now if you've been using Sky Vector this is something you'll find there and basically what the FAA charts or sectionals they provide more information about the um obstacles about the um everything that that is in the way of your flying uh if there is for example an area restricted area or uh I I read through uh some of the sectionals here in California that this area for it's got an endangered species and Pilots are requested to fly at an altitude of 3,000 ft uh you'll find all FFA sectionals uh this one here so if you click it now you can see and if I go to the layers you want to click on this one here uh this one will bring up the sectionals and now if you zoom in you'll see finer details uh here on so you've got a tower there and uh all sorts of uh visual cues uh on the charts here to help you uh with your flying very very useful if you're doing a VFR flight this is an indispensable tool for you uh for our flight today of course we are flying the uh we're flying far and we're not going to be you can leave this uh here it looks I just like the satellite view here and it gives you a very nice satellite imagery of your entire route uh our route is about 1 hour 20 minutes today and uh hopefully I can give you guys a good show I hope that you enjoy it and we have ladies and gentlemen we have DG mcvish hello my friend welcome aboard glad to have you here thank you very very much for joining Bruno welcome let's hop into the cockpit of the beautiful free mod 737 this is the latest version of the aircraft with the simbrief integration I love the texturing I love the work that Zebo does on this aircraft all right so the first thing first we're going to come here to the overhead panel we're going to turn the battery on and we're going to bring up the ground power unit and next we're going to come here make sure that the landing gear is down the flap levers and the uh flaps are up speed brakes are disarmed and the auto throttle is in the idle position uh we're going to come here and turn on VHF 1 for our radios let's bring up up the lights here a little bit so we can see the uh we can see the uh the numbers here on our frequencies and we're going to come to the back here and make sure that the alternate gear handle is in position cancel the master caution and with that we can go to um actually let's test the lights here real quick all right all the lights look good excellent and now we can bring all right so now we're going to go for the fun stuff now here's what you need to do for the Sim brief integration when you create your sim brief plan let's take a look here very quickly so this is our Sim brief plan I've created the plan obviously you've got your flight number you know departure destination and generate the flight once you generate the flight if you scroll down to Flight Plan downloads and show detail scroll all the way to the bottom you'll see a new format Zebo mod b737 now to download this some browsers support it some browsers do not so I recommend that you do the following right click on the download button and then say save link as this is going to pop up the uh you need to browse to explain explain that's my um installation xplain 12 output folder then the FMS plans from the FMS plans just save the file but make sure that it is named b738 x. XML if you change the name it will not work so just make sure that this is the correct that the name is the b738 okay so once you save that you'll be able to access the flight plan from within the electronic flight bag so we're going to zoom in here a little bit so you guys can see better and we're going to go to fuel and balance and you will find the new um air side Services now the nice thing about it is that it will actually automate everything from the fueling to the passenger loading everything is done automatically for you uh Captain aen welcome aboard glad to have you perfect combination HD simulations welcome aboard guys let's go to air sign services and next we're going to go to the second page and now as you can see here you have activate you have passengers cargo zero fuel we're going to say load operational Flight Plan and it will automatically load everything from simbrief showing uh 153 passengers cargo 8415 zero Fuel and our fuel for the flight we're going to click on activate and now things will get started you'll see that the jetway is now moving towards the aircraft so everything from this point forward is automatic okay and of course if we go home and we go to see here uh okay all right so if we go to the fuel and balance and go to payload uh we'll hear the uh we'll wait just for the fuel truck to arrive in just a second here all right there you go so if you move to the outside you'll see that the doors are automatically opening the fuel truck is in position and the aircraft is being refueled all right perfect now we can continue with the cockpit preparation so we're going to fuel Lo all right so fuel is good and you'll see that the you can hear the cleaners cleaning the aircraft SE is service crew on ground they are cleaning the aircraft very very nice I love the uh all the automation that you get uh with this new uh integration and the new Zebo mod very very nice cancel Master caution okay let's go ahead and perform our test here uh let's see here that's good Apu engine fire test hold good cargo fire test checks okay excellent and we're going to move up here and let's see here we do have the all right emergency lights are armed and we can go ahead and start the Apu all right Apu is starting turn on the Hydraulics okay EG GT Rising we'll put the non-smoking sign on on Auto wait for the EGT hello Joseph from New York welcome aboard my friend glad to have you here with us this evening all right and now the Apu is available excellent let's turn on the Apu Jens and I'm not sure why the there we go all right perfect H we're going to turn on the turn off the engine bed turn on the Apu bleed pack on auto and let's move to the overhead panel here flight data recorder is tested mock speed warning test one and two sto warning test one and two and we're going to set the ad to nav mode and let's see here 7 minutes until full alignment excellent and moving down here your damper can go on left after fuel pump is on H everything here looks good Window heat can go on we have that we can test the recorder here and then we're going to come and set our um altitude so we're going to come to the simbrief plan and we're going to fly at a final Cruise altitude of 34,000 ft today all right 34,000 and the landing elevation at uh San Francisco if we come here uh let's see all right let's see if we have it here all right so 13 is the elevation um all right we'll just put 50 that's fine okay uh steady and everything here is good all right all right so now you can see that the cleaning is all done and the uh the passenger loading is going to begin uh and if we go to you see here this is again automatic so if you go to fuel and balance payload and the next page you'll see that the passengers are being loaded now automatically to the aircraft excellent and uh everything here is good so let's move on to the FMC all right now from the FMC again it's very very nice uh integration uh there uh provided that you have downloaded the file from SIM brief uh we're going to go to FMC we'll go to position in it we are at kilo Lima alpha x-ray and stick that here as the reference airport next page grab the GPS position and set the IRS position for the aircraft excellent next we're going to go to root and we're going to put Los Angeles at the as the origin now all you need to do is say Flight Plan request now with the flight plan request uh um pressed the uh the FMC will download the link as you can see now it says root up link ready click on load and just give it a few seconds it will load all the information as you can see here and says the cruise wind Uplink is ready as well um you can see the flight number everything has been automatically pulled now from that XML file that we've downloaded and we're going to say activate and execute that excellent and then we're going to go to uh the next page we're going to go to is we're going to go by the way it will automatically select the departure and arrival as you can see here the uh departure runways 24 left is selected and you'll see that the summer 2 uh departure is also selected automatically and we're going to verify the arrival now for the arrival I believe it selects the surf for 4 but it does not select the runway so we're going to have to select the runway manually and in this case the runway is going to be 28 left which is the is 28 left and it's going to be through the Eddie transition and we're going to do execute perfect now we have our legs page here and there are no discontinuities perfect and then we can go to the performance initialization and we can now load the uh all right so now once you say load it will automatically load everything you have our cruise altitude the wind the uh EA temperature uh obviously the transition altitude is 18,000 in the states and the only thing that we need to do now is put the reserve fuel so uh the reserve fuel uh from our flight plan is your alternate fuel plus your final reserves it's about 2 4.7 but I am just going to say two uh and we're going to say execute okay perfect and let's clear that all right N1 limit uh we're not going to derate the takeoff we're just going to leave it as it is it's already derated and that's sufficient we do have a contaminated Runway today so um hey Alex no worries my friend take care hello there demon demon Trader welcome aboard my friend friend all right you know I've noticed guys every time I uh I do orex true Earth you know we get like cloudy weather where we can't really enjoy the scenery we're kind of Jinxed there all right let's go to takeoff and we're going to select flaps 5 for departure center of gravity 19.2% gives us a 5.5 trim with a V1 of 133 135 for V rotate and 145 for v2 let's set our trim here quick to 5.5 all right 5.5 is set and 145 for v2 145 all right that's 145 and flly directors can go on on both sides and this is probably a good time to oh let's set the uh let's set the uh what the ultimater so weather the matar here at Los Angeles say 05 54 knots uh visibility is 8 Miles few clouds at uh 900 beat uh broken at three broken at 4100 so it's going to be a Cloudy departure ultimeter is 2 Niner n or8 all right so 2 ner ner 8 uh let's set that 29er ner 8 is set and let's uh set it on the first first officer side as well 2 niner niner where is it 2 niner niner 8 all right perfect next we're going to go to uh our departure Runway 24 left uh so we're going to just go to 24 two4 left and we're going to take a look here uh let's see here is this two yeah that is two four left um all right so that's what I wanted to take a look at so 323d a 200 all right 200 all right 200 set excellent and uh Auto Brak goes to reject a takeoff okay got everything set up here and we'll just wait for the rest of the passengers to load the uh to board the aircraft all right so everything here looks good we're going to set this on the leg page we're going to come to the second FMC we're going to set this on climb and everything there is set perfect thought brick hello my friend welcome aboard all right so in the meantime um everything here is looking good uh we can turn on the fuel pumps in preparation for push back and start we'll leave the pack for now um everything here's good okay let me switch to the outside real quick and let's see if we can just look at the beautiful scenery here unfortunately this is too cloudy but I think you can see how beautiful everything looks and uh I'm very excited to uh let you guys know that um orex is now working on uh updating all of their true Earth series for xplan 12 very very good news and uh it this is actually the xplan 11 version um but it actually looks pretty good considering the fact that this is not updated this is just the xplane 11 version version it looks very very nice indeed yeah all righty okay let's take a look here oh we're almost done and once the boarding is uh done again everything is is automatic uh you don't really have to do anything and uh maybe a good time to just let the passengers know so let's go to the PA system folks from the on board we're ready up front everybody's closed up outside we're just waiting uh to get some of our performance numbers and the clearance from Air Traffic Control and we should be underway our pleasure us today sit back relax enjoy the flight should be under no worries at all Stan do you know if it's possible to fly the Z with a master TCA yeah absolutely so if we come back here let's go back home and we're going to go to fuel and balance payload all right a few more passengers to load uh and then we'll be on our way uh everything here looks good we're going to set the heading to Runway heading which is 240 so to 240 is now set actually this 252 H something like that all right okay everything here looks good everything here looks good and we are ready for the engine start once we have clearance from ground crew that uh everything is clear and all passengers are aboard the aircraft looks like the door doors are now closing you can see the jetway is automatically moving away from the aircraft again I haven't done anything at all so this new version of the Zebo is just really really good I really like it a lot it automates the entire uh workflow uh for you while on ground which is uh pretty cool H we have with us Jim today from Vegas welcome my friend glad to have you here with us all right we are ready to go folks we are going to turn on the beacon lights on antic Collision is on and we are ready to summon the push back truck start please show me where you want to go all right we're just going to put the aircraft uh we'll just put it in this position here there we go toe is driving up all right the toe is driving up and we can put the fast and seat belt signs on the safety enhancement is now being played to the passengers fre to your mobile and while here at the Gat I tell you 128 rc1 uh is just an awesome awesome um version of xplan and the only thing that xplan really needs now is is just scenery that's it Hey Thomas welcome aboard okay thank you very much uh Bruno appreciate it my friend very kind of you there all right ground equipment is clear the push back truck is in position and we are ready to push everything here looks good right we're going to turn off the pack here for oh trim air is on and we're going to turn the pack off for engine start excellent tow connected and bypass pin inserted release parking brake all right parking brake is Rel least starting push back and you may start engines and we have clearance to start our engines we're going to start with engine number two there we go engine number two is now spooling uh this scenery uh by the way I forgot to update the nightbot commands today so my I'm sorry for that um uh all the commands are wrong today so I just uh got back from work and uh took a short nap I was very very tired and if you've been following me I've been telling you guys about the problem I have with my disc with my back so the painkiller I take really makes me very drowsy so I couldn't resist I had to just snap for a little while and totally forgot about uh updating the uh night commands all right so we have the engine starting up now we have a good start on engine number two let's go ahead and start one set parking brake all right and parking brake is set disconnecting toe standby and we have now the engine number one spooling I have a problem with the Zebo when I look off started climbing and then the cabin altitude alert starts going off uh you probably haven't set your pressure uh so you have to come here and you see this number here this has to match your altitude um otherwise uh you know you're going to get issues of course with cabin pressure all right uh engine's good let's go and start engine number one the scenery here today of uh Los Angeles uh as well as the destination San Francisco both are by short final disconnected and bypass bin has been removed hand signal on the right we'll see you next time and have a all right uh we have a good start on both engines the push back truck is moving away from the aircraft now and we're waiting for the hand signal let's put the Jen's on and we're going to come to the overhead panel here turn the probe heat on uh packs go to auto we're going to turn off the Apu bleed and turn on the engine bleeds and the isolation valve to Auto and we are ready to go okay taxi light is on and engine continuous switches Apu can go off and we are good to go let's make sure we cancel the master caution let's set our flaps lapse five look at that the the Zebo is just absolutely brilliant all right we are good here flaps are set flight controls flight check full Up full down full left full right pedal full left full right neutral and we are are good here before we forget I'm going to go ahead and set the um tcast to T and we're going to set uh weather on the first officer side uh on the captain's side and terrain on the first officer side and we are pretty much good to go parking brake is released and off we go let's give it some power ech Jo on the other side there is two for left all right and Landing lights on strobe lights on auto throttle armed and here we go let's line up Runway two for left CR set simulations welcome aboard all righty why are the aircraft taking off the other side all right all right engines are stable toga air speed alive 80 knots check 1001 rotate Gear Up flyby ladies and gents look at this beautiful view of Los Angeles as we depart from Los Angeles International right let me uh bring the pitch down a little bit here about 15° it's complaining about traffic 400 ft is passed VAV uh then 1,000 ft for lnav brilliant command why is it not liking it ah all right all right command a the reason why I disconnected the autopilot is because I was applying pressure on the Yoke okay there we go all right everything's looking good Auto break disarmed blps up I think we need a little bit of uh let me just rink the panel light here there we go much better all right we're looking good continue the climb 4,000 and I'm going to go ahead and turn on the antiicing system here so we're going to turn on wing and Engine enti Ice engine selectors go back to the off position taxi light can go off and the runway turn off lights are already off we're going to continue the climb it does look great doesn't it ama Muhammad how are you doing my friend welcome aboard all right let's take a look here now obviously we're flying through very thick layers of cloud right 7,000 we should clear the clouds momentarily here and as we fly from the southern part of uh of California so about 900,000 ft we should clear the clouds and uh we should have have some clear skies ahead of us there we go we can see now the end of the clouds there right we're going to set the range here to 40 nautical miles right approaching 10,000 ft we're going to go ahead and turn off the landing lights and we're going to release the passengers there we go 10,000 still some clouds there in the vicinity pretty uh pretty bad weather in Los Angeles this evening um is it I don't know thrust simulation so that might be the case why Cliff Barrett welcome aboard my friend how are you doing I'm loving the uh simbrief integration there W Cliff yeah it's pretty nice it just makes the Zebo um you know a notch more enjoyable I mean it's just an enjoyable aircraft allog together but uh it makes it definitely more enjoyable reduces the workflow quite a bit uh doesn't take very long for you now to set things up vnaf path all right everything FMC speed all is looking good uh we are off the uh clouds so we're going to turn off the engine NTI and let's take a look at the outside here ladies and gents look at this beautiful view of the Zebo Boeing 737 and those beautiful clouds in xplain 12 yeah look at that that's just beautiful look at those clouds guys passenger announcements as well really um a a complete uh add-on the Zebo mod and uh this mod has gone through you know uh massive massive modifications Through The Years uh it is by far the best freeware mod available today for flight simulation and I know a lot of you guys have asked me is this better than the fly by wire Airbus A320 Neo for msfs and my answer is yes yes it is better uh in my view it is better it's a much much better it's the best freeware mod for flight period uh I don't think there is anything that comes close to the Zebo in terms of not just the add-on itself but the commitment of the developer the frequency of the updates the realism the depth of system simulation uh for something to be free and for this level of commitment uh I think I am very happy to say that this is the number one freear mod for flight Sim it has been uh you know it has earned this uh this title I think I think it's better than the pmdg in some respects it is yeah in some respects it is better than the pmdg uh the development team on the Zebo is very small I believe Zebo himself is the uh is the lead developer but I don't think he's got that many people working on the Zebo all right we are 18,000 oops uh Barrow to standard on both sides okay Barrow is set excellent and if we look here at uh our legs page uh let's go here all right let's zoom in uh we are going to begin The Descent uh right after we hit the star so quite a bit uh hopefully we'll see some you know those clouds while they actually look very very nice look at that just view look at those clouds guys wow while they look um very nice I I was really hoping to have a clear day uh so we can enjoy the orbeck uh scenery beneath us but uh looks like this is not going to materialize and by the way this is very accurate if you go to uh navig graph and uh we're going to go to let me close this here real quick all right so if we zoom out and look at our flight we're going to go to cloud cover and 6,000 uh 10,000 14 you can see this here now 18 look at that we are at uh what now 21 all right so we're going to go to 22,000 look at that so so again the cloud coverage here depicted in navigraph corresponds to what we were seeing in the Sim So based on what we're seeing here uh when we are actually just about to land you know at our destination uh we're going to be at 2,000 ft uh that yeah there should be no clouds at there is still at six some at 104 and this is 22 so our entire flight is going to be uh we're just going to see lots and lots of clouds as we make our way towards uh San Francisco so basically everyone on the channel to uh the the channel me the channel Subs have selected the aircraft uh in the community pool and then the channel members have uh voted for this uh for this route I was really hoping that I would get uh more uh on the uh uh on the Columbia uh route I believe it was uh or the uh South Africa um but it looks like uh again I and I understand this because most of the channel viewers are from the USA and so it goes without saying that uh you know people would want to see uh you know this route which is a very very famous route and by the way Delta fly this this is a real world route that Delta flies with the exact flight number from FlightAware that we're flying today Hello Kenny Meers greetings Q8 happy Thursday to you thank you very much sir and Happy Thursday to you got you uh thanks Alex yeah uh twistar yeah that's that's right he makes the flight model correct and Zebo codes this is pretty much uh like what happens with uh with the IX EG so Tom Kyler the guy who is the lead developer who I interviewed here on the channel is actually the programmer he knows nothing about aircraft he tells me I know nothing about aircraft or how how they fly um but um you know uh the the other guy I forget I always forget his name Von is it Von or vog I can't recall his name he's actually a 737 pilot so he tells him he gives him all the input and then tomone programs that the same thing by the way happens with the felis 747 so felis is a is a very capable programmer and once they you know the guys tell them what to do and how the aircraft should operate then he very quickly goes and makes the changes and normally that's how that's how it happens there is somebody who knows a lot about aircraft and someone else who is a really good developer Ali DZ games hi I love the channel well thank you very much sir appreciate it my friend right here's a look at the wing view here the beautiful engines here again very nice uh Cloud since 120 8 that's the top of climb right there look it wow xplane is definitely making strides and and uh I'll tell you I have now been flying xplane for about 10 years guys that's a long time 10 years of flying xplane since I've had xplan since 10.3 that's the first version I believe it was 10.2 uh the the CDs the original CDs I purchased off Amazon uh was 11 was 10.2 and immediately after I I installed it it told me that there was an update so I updated to the version to 10.3 but it's been a very long time indeed and uh occasionally or incidentally today the channel has reached 8,000 subscribers and I'm very very happy about that guys I can't thank you enough for your support a giveaway is coming on the channel very soon and the uh the giveaway is going to be um I started in oh wow ran started Version 9 GE wow looks like things are subsiding here in terms of the clouds let's take a quick look on the outside here and look at the beautiful California terrain here uh very very nice yeah beautiful over the last 10 years and here's for the next 10 years all right plan 12 and it looks awesome look at that oh yeah really I mean that is the only thing that's missing in in xplan is really having Auto Ortho Auto Ortho or Ortho for XP or you know Ortho Imes Ortho imagery uh the rest uh the X the xplane engine does beautifully the flight model and uh I I hope you guys have taken a look at the uh at the video by leminar research on the new changes in the landing gear and how the flight model changes that they brought into this version uh it's very very nice very nice changes and you can feel it by the way with the if you guys recall the Tolus had an issue with the flight model where when you come to land the nose just kind of dips and that issue is gone with this uh with this version are you using any mods right now well uh I've listed the mods I think in a previous video but here if you look at my plugins menu here I'm using X ATC chatter XP realistic that's many cockpit we're not using here today uh that's for the air full avitab better pushback fly with Lowa I just use for this little script here to control the sounds and and then um let's see better push back I'm using Sam for the jetways traffic Global for AI traffic X camera which helps me move everything around terrain radar is nothing but what you see here so terrain radar doesn't doesn't do anything on its own but it's integrated into a number of aircraft in xplan and this is one of them by the way I think we the final Cruise altitude should have been 34 why was this on 36 yeah there we go strange huh so everything here is looking in tiptop shape it TD is an 108 nautical miles not a very long flight uh just about right Sunrise cre hi what is the ATC chatter add-on used in this video well uh it is it is xhc Chatter let me show you this guys here real quick so xhc chatter has a region uh has some settings here that you can do the appearance uh you can change how it looks all of that good stuff you can integrate it with the xplain ATC H and that will use the internal frequencies uh then Mr L all right so these are the radius some things here that you can change but what's very interesting is if you go to the control panel now from the control panel you can select the regions I always set this on Auto Select so if you are in the states it will automatically select the region and then you can go to the nearest facility so now we have this is the nearest facility about 16.9 nautical miles and what the nice thing is it uses the real world frequency so if we go for example to our navigraph charts let me show you this real quick uh if we go here uh navigraph okay so we're going to go to San Francisco we're going to go to information then we're going to go to comms now you have all the we have the nor call uh appro approach norol approach so we can set to 128 325 128 325 okay so 128 325 set that as the active and now if we go to uh X ATC chatter and go to the nearest facility uh does not have that uh one in there or maybe it's out of range right now that's why we don't get it all right let me let me try to pick something close um I wanted to select something okay so closer to us is Los Angeles uh okay let me let me go back here yeah it says out of range it's too far right now so let me go back to flights let me go to Los Angeles and we're going to select information comms now here we have uh the different uh we have the approach uh terminal air uh that's the no that's tower all right so we'll take the appro 124.5 okay so we'll go 124 uh 0 five okay set that as the active frequency 124.5 still not there it looks like we're farther away from it now Los Angeles Center is is close um so yeah we'll wait we'll wait a little bit I'll show you I'll show you how this works guys in a little bit but it will automatically pick up the frequency once you key it in here because it uses real world frequencies and navigraph charts has all these frequencies there so it works beautifully are using visual XP with xplan 12 yourself I just bought it and it crashes xp2 uh if you are on the latest beta I'm not sure if they've updated uh for the latest beta on 128 uh but I'm not using visual XP in this uh video no what's the best traffic add-on for xplane 12 uh traffic Global by just fly do you need to play around with your FSR settings until you get it right FSR settings uh do you mean the one here in graphics this one FSR super sampling I turn it off it's uh I don't use it at all all right we are 82 nautical miles that's set up for our approach so we're going to come down here we're going to go to the uh approach reference and we're going to do flaps 30 today for the arrival into San Francisco the weather should be nice uh quite different than uh it's amazing how you know the southern part of the state is uh is cloudy and raining and and then the the the northern part is uh is pretty clear and nice all right so 30 149 for the speed the final speed excellent 109 55 so we're going to come here and set this to 109 55 and set it to the active 10955 and uh we're going to do it on the first officer side 10955 10955 and set it to the active brilliant and next we're going to grab the uh let's see here 284 for the course so 84 is set and 284 is set on the first officer side perfect now we need to do one more thing we are going to go to uh let's see here flights and then San Francisco and we're going to go for 24 28 uh left which is the arrival Runway today 28 left and we're going to grab the all right here so this is for ILS uh 7 DH is 776 okay all right we're going to set a let's see here 7 7 six there we go and that is also Now set excellent hey Captain USA how are you doing my friend the uh the shimmering uh Chris uh the shimmering uh that you'll find is to do with the aliasing and oops right let me re-engage the autopilot here all right um see the shimmering uh that you see is uh is something that you can't really do anything about that's something that leminar needs to work on and hopefully they would in upcoming the msaa when you set it even when you set everything at Max you still get the shimmers it will reduce the eling but really beautiful look at that you know I'll tell you guys one thing when I fly in uh on the orbec scenery uh for xplan I find it to be a lot nicer than flying uh in California in Microsoft light them the the coloring of the terrain uh in by orex is is more uh it it it really looks a lot more um like what what You' see in real life when you fly over California uh the colors they they've hand uh crafted the you know those those terrains there so everything is hand colored by orbits so I think it looks a lot more realistic more Tru to life uh than than Microsoft lighton no worries Chris no worries at all my friend what about the a350 flight can you make it I've made one uh Denis not too long ago uh but yeah if you guys like to have another a350 flight I am more than happy to uh to do techum uh 212 or the FSR 500 reborn uh so one of those uh aircraft will be uh will be the one that we're going to fly and then after that uh we'll to another Poll for xplane and uh we'll see what you guys would like for me to fly next here's the top of day appearing in the display H we're not too far now from top of descent and by looking at our map here you can see that we're arriving into the star so we're going to begin the descend just about as we begin uh entering the star there's still clouds there at 22,000 uh which you can see here scattered clouds it's not really that much of uh of clouds but uh some clouds there and here is a cinematic flyby another good news is that the uh fly JSM 732 is getting much needed love as we speak and uh Jack who is the lead developer has reached out to me on Discord and showed me a couple of uh pictures there and the status of the project and uh hopefully we can work again uh on maybe creating something for uh you know for the 732 once it's ready for uh ready to be showcased for you guys so very very exciting times uh some have you tried Global Force version 2 available from orbx I have Chris the thing is uh while it really changes things quite a bit it is very very heavy on FPS for some reason it just really kills the Sim I'm not sure why but uh yeah it does it does really bring the uh it does bring the Sim to its KN uh zile ask High Q8 are you using visual XP currently no I am not how's explained compared to Microsoft flight simulator oh that's a classical question now and I think I've covered this uh a lot uh they both excel in their own ways in different uh areas um but it is without any shadow of a doubt by account of real world Pilots it is a known fact that the flight model in physics in xplain 12 is superior from the uh from the scenery perspective flying VFR it definitely Microsoft light Sim uh wins without a doubt all right we are approaching top of descent latest gents and uh we will Begin The Descent in about 20 nautical 21 nautical miles from now and uh hopefully all right let's take a quick look at the weather at San Francisco um and we can now we'll we'll switch the frequency as well for the approach all right so ultimater is 30003 uh 15 not win check this out guys so it's going to be a rough one and I know you guys like those Landings so uh so hopefully I can uh I can uh show you guys uh I can perform a a good Landing hopefully all right if we go now to information go to comms and now we are getting closer to San Francisco so let me select uh the tower frequency which is 120 decimal 5 all right so we're going to come here and select 120 uh decimal 5 all right 120 decimal 5 and if we go to uh no that's not what I wanted to do if we go to x ATC chat and go to the nearest it's still not in range so we'll just wait I still can't see we have Auckland Center uh so we'll just leave it and uh once we start hearing the ATC chatter uh we'll come back and show you what what ATC chatter has done so we've already tuned the frequency for the approach and everything here is good we are going to go to the fix because there is a the the terrain around San Francisco is very very tricky uh so we're going to go to the fix and we're going to select oneway 28 left uh at San Francisco and we're going to go 28 Z and uh 10 nautical miles and we'll add this fix here now if we go to our plan page and uh cycle through here let me go to leg page and step through uh you can see here we have our Circle uh this is 280 which is Runway heading and this is the 10 nautical mile range it just will help us with the uh situational awareness as we approach the airport all right let's switch this to map perfect and we should begin The Descent momentarily here into San Francisco okay very beautiful view uh with orex uh again this is uh very it it it ex it it corresponds to what we've seen on navigraph uh in terms of the cloud coverage so we're seeing exactly what we're expecting here as we arrive uh at our current altitude 34,000 ft again here is the thing 34,000 ft um we're not seeing it on navigraph so let me try 30 yeah we shouldn't yeah there is some at 26,000 some I'm at 22 and that's probably what we're seeing there yeah that's about maybe 22,000 ft yeah nothing at our current altitude which is correct but then at 22,000 uh there's definitely clouds we should clear them here so as we decent uh no it's going to be all the way until we reach epic here so there's going to be some clouds but hopefully we'll be able to enjoy the nice scenery as well can see the terrain radar there is a mountain range ahead of us uh there at San Francisco so we've begun The Descent now towards San Francisco folks and uh we should be there momentarily are we using xp12 or Active Sky we're using Active Sky today we're using Active Sky I pronounce z like Zed and not z um so that is the difference between the American and the uh English pronunciation of the letter the English would pronounce the letter Z as Zed and uh if you use American English then and it would be z uh I've obviously received my education or the my higher education in the USA so I'm accustomed to Z although by the way the schools back in Kuwait um we studied uh the British English uh I remember O'Neal something O'Neal where were our books so we studied definitely the the British English and but um obviously I stayed in the US for a very long time so I've kind of adjusted um everything to the American version of uh of English and of course there is the influence of uh of movies and American pop culture uh now and that's because xat chatter has picked up the frequency yep you can definitely hear the San Francisco tower now all right we're looking good very smooth Sim very fluid all looks like we're a bit too high uh TD from 19 yeah just a tad too high so hopefully we'll be able to correct that and as we get closer maybe we'll increase the rate of descent right now I think we're doing all right greetings from Eve online time to tackle your jet and and wey yeah little Gusty yes it is yes it is and the crosswind or the winds at uh we have 15 knot wind uh Runway 28 left at San Francisco so it's 23,000 we're looking good is this a paid aircraft no this is free this is the best freeware add-on available for flight simulation period is free and I'm very glad it's free and Zebo deserves all the uh all the support that we can give him for his outstanding commitment to uh the flight Sim community and for continuously updating this aircraft and bringing this the level of depth that we see today in terms of the system simulation um very very uh indicative of his outstanding commitment really the Zebo mod excellent all right we're doing all right I think in terms of the altitude here we're our destination and look at this spectacular view of the uh 737 in xplane wow this looks Sensational very very nice the clouds the uh color the sky color everything looks very nice indeed 737 is my favorite aircraft well I can tell that from your uh from your handle there I should play DCS for my flight Sim uh flight Sim fix and I got a lot of good paid content well good I'm I'm glad that it works for you are you able to handle zero visual yet takeoff landing and navigation um I've tried it um Atlantis b738 pilot Pro welcome aboard all right we are definitely uh oh we need to set the altitude at this point and we want to be able to descend to 1,800 this is uh again look at this beautiful beautiful terrain here in California look at that just beautiful California is a very nice state to fly over uh I've done many many flights in California back in the '90s and uh I must say that it's a very very enjoyable experience if you're ever in the Las Vegas area there are some nice tours as well to the Mojave Desert and they'll take to the Grand Canyon as well uh they've got a very nice helicopter tours and uh uh very very enjoyable very well worth it a bit pricey but well worth it uh they've got the uh uh they've got this uh service where you know you you get a a limo that picks you up from the air airport and uh takes you uh through to the airport and then you land uh you land like a in in a place where there's a nice restaurant and you know you get to mix and mingles and find people and for a meal and then you know they'll take you back uh but yeah it's a very very nice experience if you're with the family there I think they'll enjoyed all right 13,000 ft we are looking good we have a restriction of uh eight ,000 just ahead uh but overall we're looking all right uh we want to reduce our speed in a little bit but you can see the mountains ahead of us here uh so wow look at this I mean this looks very realistic I have to say there look at that the beautiful California this is actually for xplane 11 uh but uh yeah this is the most updated Zebo mod yeah uh the Orit scenery is actually that of xplane 11 but I do show a tweak on how to um install it for xplane 12 just search for um how to install orbit into xlane 12 and uh you'll be able to get the link right we're looking good continue The Descent Final Approach speed is 14 what was 149 149 indeed wanted to see that Landing I really wanted to see that replay ah what can I say that's just too bad too too bad what can I say I just had to probably wait a little longer but yeah xplan has has crashed let me load the aircraft again because I do want to show you the scenery as well at San Francisco the airport by short final is an amazing amazing rendition of San Francisco for xplan 12 so I do want to shoot yeah typical of xplan yes it is yeah but but um no worries Phil no worries Phil yeah it is a shame doall I really really wanted to see that replay because it was uh it was one of the really challenging Landings uh and this is you see that's one thing I don't get with with Microsoft light Sim the feel of the aircraft uh when when you come to land let me just put this at um San Francisco what's this KS all right so yeah we'll put it at D12 that's fine um that is what I really miss when I fly in uh in Microsoft light Sim and somehow I feel that The Landings are are easier for some for some reason yeah Sunrise creation Studio yeah that was just uh that was a bummer uh uh God why did it do that yeah that's all right it happens I think it happens uh quite often on the channel lately with the replays and in the last couple of streams I actually stopped doing replays but it has been behaving very well lately and I decided yeah why not you know let me but maybe I just I was a little bit Hasty in uh fast forwarding the replay I probably should have waited a little bit uh for it to load uh the scenery around the area and then um oh well what can I say yeah by the way folks if any of you guys are interested in content creation or interested in for example uh my settings for um uh OBS stream streamlabs OBS or OBS Studio which I use for recording videos uh please do let me know I'm more than happy to do those uh tutorials um uh for you guys I just don't think that there is uh enough interest uh to be honest uh in in those videos I think people just want to see aircraft and stuff like that so um but yeah I'm more than happy to uh you know to to do tutorials on uh streamlabs OBS or OBS studio and how I configure things and because it does make a huge difference by the way uh when you are streaming and when you're recording I use very different settings for both I use different software alt together uh for recording uh versus the streaming so if that's something that's of interest uh please do let me know yeah I'm just really bumped out about this uh crash I was really really hoping to see that replay and the scenery is just breathtaking over at San Francisco take a long time loading yeah when you have uh uh orbeck it takes a little bit of time for sure and then I'm also loading the uh 4K uh version of the Zebo so it takes a little bit of time all right it's done with pre-loading now so yeah when when you are loading uh you know Auto orthos like really large files it takes a little bit of time all right it's finishing finishing a synchronous loading a completely separate aircraft uh and I thought that this is exactly the digital but with the analog gauges so why didn't they actually upgrade their digital version and include this as an option and maybe include an upgrade fee but they're actually charging it as a you know completely separate aircraft which is you know a little bit strange uh it's got some issues by the way uh still even after the updates uh that they've done it still has some issues with the uh with the GPS device loading but uh yeah so it's going to take some time now come on hello there AAG Kur hello my friend welcome aboard I follow you I love you man I'm from Iran well uh chori I can say that in Persian I hope you are uh how do uh means very good right yeah something like that I think hi I know a little bit of Persian so if you guys have have been following the channel long enough you'll know that I'm of Persian descent so my great great great great great great great grandfather was uh was originally from Iran and uh and and this is how Kuwait is by the way Kuwait is um is a bunch of uh tribes that came from different parts of the of the Gulf region so some came from Iran some came from Iraq from Saudi Arabia uh from Bahrain and they finally settled in Kuwait so uh my father speaks uh very fluent Persian uh my mom kind of sort of uh but my great my my grandma and grandpa both from both sides of the family from Mom and Dad's side spoke very fluent Persian uh we the the newer generation well I'm not you know not not new generation anymore I'm pretty old I'll be 50 next year but uh one or more issues with the sound pack yeah okay fine push back failure aircraft appears to not have any steerable gears all right that's okay that's okay I think I need to upgrade this is probably because this is a 128 and I think I've downloaded the sound pack for this aircraft I'm not sure what I've done with this aircraft but um everything is now all of a sudden acting up so I'm not sure what to do but this doesn't seem like it's loading oh oh okay here it is finally all right so first guys uh before we begin uh I do want to show you okay let's see here all right so that's all right so I do want to show you this airport first and then I'm going to crank up that 172 but I just want to show you this rendition of San Francisco International Airport uh for xplain 12 look at that guys look at the details this looks very very nice indeed look at that all the roads the traffic the Metro there or the tram whatever you call it uh even the by the way the traffic you see those cars this is custom this is not default explain so the speed of the cars as they come here into the terminal all of this is done by by uh Mr X he's a very very talented developer and he makes some of the best scenery uh for xplan very nice rendition of San Francisco a very accurate rendition of San Francisco again look here very nice details right there yeah the Interiors are not modeled obviously but uh who cares you know who cares about the interior uh it's just really very very nice uh airport yeah I highly recommend it if you're uh in shopping for xplan scenery uh this is one airport that I definitely very very highly recommend yeah very nice that's fantastic we were last month yeah absolutely Stan all right so this is San Francisco let's come back here finally this aircraft looks pretty nice huh yeah look it wow okay so you guys want to see the air4 lab sesna the analog version so let's say start new okay let's see if we can get this uh 55 constant FPS yeah I'll I get pretty good FPS I don't have any issues with uh FPS whatsoever uh especially after moving so a lot of you guys compl complained about uh you know the text being too small during the streams because of the scaling that I do from 4K to 1080p so I switched to my 2k monitor uh and I'm just absolutely loving it uh and it definitely is um so with xplan definitely I see huge difference with uh with msfs because I have the generation have any steerable gears uh of frame frame generation so it doesn't really matter that much all right so this is ladies and gents the air foil lab cesna 172 analog version and as you can see here it's got some very very nice textures uh overall we're going to do a full stream on this but uh since you guys want to see it then you know I'll show it to you guys uh again very nice rendition of the aircraft very similar to there uh let me turn off the there okay so let me open that you can do the same things there we go and you can do the walk around feature here and you can open same thing so you can do the same things that you've done with the uh uh with the previous version uh or with the digital now let me show you one thing uh just in case you are considering buying the aircraft okay okay uh what is the current temperature here um let's bring NE graph real quick actually here Active Sky what is the temperature um 16 cels okay now that's fine all right so first thing first we're going to come here turn on the battery and alternator and fuel shut off valve is in both selectors okay let's push this all the way in and crack the throttle a little bit and we're going to turn on fuel pump let's make sure sure we have uh fuel flow all right that's good and we're going to bring this back and let's see here uh let me bring this up here let's see all right so there is an issue uh we turn on the beacon here all right so if I turn on on the avionics you'll see that the Garmin device is coming up okay and let me bring this back okay so you'll see the Garmin device coming up now if I click okay and okay then the GPS goes away okay now they fixed this originally where it was stuck on the Garmin device but then when I click enter it's just completely blank to fix this issue by the you can turn this on you can turn everything else on okay now now to fix this problem what I've noticed is if you do uh before taxi so just go to this state and then go back to cold and dark okay now you should be fine uh obviously you have to go through the entire procedure here of removing all the ground elements so we're going to do that we're going to remove the wheel lock here and uh we'll put the key where it belongs uh we'll bring this back all right so now we can turn on the battery turn on the beacon and everything here looks good we're going to mixture full Bridge crack the throttle a little bit and I don't think we need the we'll give it a little bit of fuel flow here all right and then we can start the aircraft let's L the mixture a little bit not set so all right so now if you turn on the avionics okay now if we click okay and enter now it works so if you if you decide to you want to purchase this aircraft just uh be aware of the fact that there is still a problem I haven't checked for an update I hope that they've updated this now but there's definitely still an issue with the uh with the Garmin device there loading but in order to fix it you can just simply do uh before taxi then go back to cold and dark and then you can start your flight normally and it should work just fine uh I've had everything 100 combo settings and no results I have format C drive to reinstall everything vanilla how do you gu L look so crisp I've noticed on a lot of other streams that the AA looks bad um Chris I have posted a video on how to make your xplain look I think it's titled uh hidden Nvidia settings uh and that is going to help you uh with that I explain how do I make my sim look sharp crisp and clear and I also help you in case you don't have a a graphics card that that is capable how to actually achieve the same results so please be sure to check that video out it should be should be uh very helpful for you so that's the system guys want to take you want me to take off a little bit and make maybe make a a short circuit here at San Francisco or should we uh call it a day what do you guys think off contact iron M with no problem explain mean if you look here at the overall experience um this is xplan 12 and uh you know yes we do have uh a payware airport um and look at those clouds guys look at the colors look at the sharpness look at the fluidity of the Sim uh personally I think it looks great um at par with Microsoft Flight Sim in this specific situation here um listen to those beautiful engine sounds all right we're going to make a turn here we don't need the full length of the runway obviously to uh to take off with the Cessna so all right let's see here all right you know what let's just do this we're going to turn on our Landing lights have stroke we don't need nav we don't need taxi uh let's put the mixture on full Rich right I don't think we need more than all right here we go full circuit breakers everything's modeled nicely right the flaps are set and we are ready to go let's make sure the mixture is full Rich which it is and let's go full full power listen to those nice sounds very nice sounds indeed 40 60 knots and we are airborne waited forence look at this guys I mean it looks absolutely gorgeous look at this airport here I mean yes this is xplain 12 and it looks awesome all right let's see here and uh we don't want to you know go to a very high [Music] altitude all right we cleared the runway no worries take care d right we're going to ease off on the power here and back we make the turn and head back to the airport and land I'm going to show you guys a trick that I use because uh I know you're going to want me to land so we're going to do the following okay and then we'll make the turn yeah we get to do that in a Sim which is pretty cool all right sorry that's the uh Runway right there so we're just going to make the turn there and land the aircraft we are a bit too fast let's trim the aircraft for landing there's an aircraft there getting ready for takeoff all right let's begin the turn 3 Bra 3 right we're looking good 445 to l1y turn Kil High spe and then continue Kil some serious wind guys here at San Fran look at how beautiful this scene is here as we come into land uh Runway 28 right ready and welcome back to uh San Francisco go yeah right we're just going to take the aircraft here to the side and uh we'll call it a day where can I purchase uh this San franisco airport uh you can find this at the xplan or store um just head over there type uh KSFO or San Francisco you should be able to find it and it is the airport by short final make sure that you purchase San Francisco by short final uh you should be able to see it in the actual code uh uh and you'll see the pictures of the airport uh which I highly recommend very very nice uh rendition of San Francisco uh coupled here with the oric scenery and we will be doing a full review Flight of the
