four three two one okay today we are going to be testing out a really exciting item at least to me because the companion item that i tested out first is something that i now cannot dare i say live without it is my favorite drugstore foundation now ps this is not sponsored i ordered this product off of amazon i have been impatiently waiting for it it was hard to hunt down i couldn't find it in ulta and what we're talking about is the true skin high cover concealer with hyaluronic acid love that it's waterproof and it's hydrating 18-hour wear you guys let's just like throw some confetti let's sound the alarm let's just get really excited let's open it up for 2.2 how about it oh yes diamond doe foot applicator oh flat on the side looks like a nice bit of product comes out saturating the tip of this applicator i have high hopes i also for the first time in a long while actually have plans to leave the home today it's exciting so i thought i would get ready and i would do a full day wear test because of the claims on this that it is long wearing up to 18 hours i thought it would be fun to kind of old school vlog and do the full day wear thing i will link the video below if stamp hoodie that needs to happen i'm gonna create a time stamp hoodie we're doing it [Music] all right you guys foundation is on and you can see it's very full coverage just a little bit peeking through not much where it looks realistic full coverage is what i would call that formula which is part of why i love it so much it blends so easily i do want to give a quick shout out to the stands out sponge this makes doing your foundation so fast just like lightning speed fast they sent this to me again recently i hadn't used one of these in a while and i'm like oh memories i remember how good this is now love it i will list it in the description box below okay let's get in to the meat of this video which is this concealer right here this is formulated without animal byproducts microplastic particles parabens oil alcohol or gluten 18-hour hydration waterproof formula cruelty-free melts into the skin without settling into fine lines key ingredient hyaluronic acid which you guys know i've talked about this a lot i really like this ingredient there has been some like mythbusters of hyaluronic acid is it good is it bad my skin has always enjoyed hyaluronic acid it will pull moisture to the skin and plump up your skin and this goes back to my whole you can make anything bad you really can like you could look up like tomato and it'd be like oh you shouldn't eat nightshade vegetables because they will actually change your acidity like you can make anything bad i am telling you you can make anything bad maybe we need to do like a discovery ingredient investigation video i don't know at the end of the day my skin has always agreed with it and it is a more hip ingredient in a lot of products right now do we know the percentage that's used no we have no clue it could be like a it's like making a stew and you put like a dash of salt and it's like formulated with salt i mean you have no idea is it a dash is it the dominant ingredient is like how much we talking you know so while it has that call out to me that just means hey guys it's going to be hydrating plumping and help our fine lines to look a little more plumped up let's just get on with the application process i have the shade macadamia i do like this diamond shape applicator where you can get right in there do you see what i'm saying like i can press right in that hollow and if i wanted to just do that i could you know i'm gonna do more we're gonna kind of fan out a little i like getting really tucked up underneath when i'm doing concealer and buffing it almost up just to create a base for any shadow i might be putting underneath there what i'm not into these days is like the full thing right like i like taking a little little little and then the excess that ends up being on the sponge or brush then i will kind of bounce around elsewhere i am going to take just a blending brush first and press this in look up and almost not get it in my eye but kind of lift it up and make sure it's getting pressed in right close to my lash line just kind of canceling everything out there i also do like taking my concealer right in here i get a lot of darkness here and i find that if you don't pay attention to that while you're applying your concealer and your base if you have that issue like i do then you go and do your eye makeup it's really hard to correct that after you have your eye makeup on so really get in the area that you want to brighten with your concealer before you get into that eye makeup and if you want to do a really smoky eye and you're like well i'm waiting to do my concealer and everything after do this kind of a thing with whatever base you are using just tip from me to you [Music] it has a really interesting finish that's almost powdery but it's definitely hydrating it's not gummy this is nice i'm not like immediately like wow wow wow but it is nice i kind of honestly thought that i would put it on and i'd be like oh like this is it you guys we're gonna have the best makeup day ever like it's gonna be so good but you know the the whole like oh it's gonna be a good skin day i don't know just i don't know i don't know how i'm feeling that's weird [Music] okay that gave much more coverage than the brush [Music] i've almost pressed it into the skin okay well well well okay i'm gonna finish up the face we will be right back do i seem i seem kind of disappointed don't i i'm not i just i'm undecided [Music] [Music] all right so i have given this concealer a moment to dry down move around i haven't powdered it so it has not been set yet and i have to say it's not crinkling i am pretty impressed at that let's take a look before i powder i'll smile there's my wrinkles it's really not settling which is quite nice it's not as full coverage as maybe i'd wanted it to be but i'm not mad about this at all i'm gonna pat it down ever so slightly before i go ahead and powder because i am not in the business of setting a crease so i would recommend right before you powder you always want to re-smooth out any lines that may have formed just from facial expression or settling [Music] so [Music] i'm gonna pop on some brows play around with some of that green eyeshadow and we will be right back [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] quick tutorial on this clipless wand that i said i was going to my plug is a little bit distant if we hear a lot of um that's what's going on right now let me share with you what i'm going to do and then we can remove the noise i have used a healthy amount of dry shampoo in my hair this is third day hair yikes but also i'm not a fan of over washing my hair so there's also that so what i like about a clipless is you can get very close to the root it does come with this really crazy glove i've been doing this long enough that i feel advanced enough to not use a glove now you might want to use a glove just to be on the safe side and not burn your fingers you got to be a little careful with the tool like this but bam do you see that curl and it goes like all the way up and i do tend to alternate a little bit i take different sizes and i go forward and backwards so the curls don't all kind of sausage into each other where it's just like one lump of a curl i like it to have texture and i like what i call a widened wave where the hair isn't just flat with a curl i want my hair to have volume and almost have some width to it [Music] and so you can see the difference this is just the refresh i'm going to let the curls cool down before running my fingers through it and it's really that easy [Music] [Music] the way i like to do the top part of my hair is i like to work frontward so i'll do these pieces and i'll let them kind of hang in front of my face uh it doesn't look great on camera but this is just how i do it and i let it just stay heated i kind of go down the middle first really close to the root because i want that volume there and the idea is for it to be messy and not look like you put in too much effort that's the kind of look that i go for [Music] now i'll kind of start in the back and move over one way or the other [Music] [Music] a clip list will give you that nice wave closer to the root if you curl it in the way that i just showed you where you get literally super super close to the root don't use sections too small because you want it to ultimately be wavy as it settles and you guys will see my hair throughout the day let's cover up that extension right there hello all right so update on the concealer i've got to say the thing that i am enjoying the most as i'm looking in the monitor in the mirror is that it is not creasing it's not completely covering the darkness maybe how i would want it to just because i'm literally like that full coverage kind of a girl i'm trying to step back on that and remember oh hey like there's such a thing as daylight and real life and it's not just sitting down filming and taking photos there is this head game to consider of what actually looks good in real life versus just in photos and you have to know what your end game is when you're doing your makeup i think that's so important this is not full full coverage i would say it's medium but again it's not creasing and it's not moving it's not thick and bunchy i love the applicator so like so far for seven bucks i think this is incredible what's up you let you know this concealer is pretty incredible it's not creasing and it's not getting greasy at all either for a hydrating concealer the rest of my face is kind of like a little grease central but under the eye is looking so good like so good i could use some powder on my forehead for sure but the under eye so good all right guys it is now 9 46 this makeup has been on all day long been out and about i might have spaghetti on my face we just had a gorgeous meal time at home p.s um random like recommendation cause i'm just like still thinking about it uh not sponsored so good though lollipop have you guys heard of this soda that's like probiotic and it actually tastes like real soda but no added sugar so good um what else can i tell you about my day that is about as exciting as it gets pooka got groomed we had spaghetti for dinner that was delicious my mom is here that's actually the most exciting and i'm about to go and hang out with her and watch a show but i wanted to do my final check-in and show you guys that this concealer for seven dollars is working overtime okay i mean we have minimal creasing the coverage has stayed the same so while i was kind of going oh i wish it was maybe a little bit more full coverage it has not faded so every time i've looked in the mirror the weirdest thing is i've powdered my face like my t-zone but underneath my eyes stayed completely mattified but not overly creasy it reminds me of the formula of shiseido the crease proof foundation how it really kind of does something to the skin to bounce the skin back to where it should be without those harsh creases from smiling and moving your face so i really like this i'm shocked at first i put it on i was like well what do i say i mean it's concealer uh but now that i've worn it
