greetings acolytes of the force and welcome back to the archives in all of Sith history Dark Side artifacts were frequently the centerpiece of large conflicts in the days of the ancient Sith it was not uncommon for the Lords to create Enchanted items to Aid them in their connection to the dark side some artifacts had subtle abilities and others had massive effects that allowed them to totally control other beings or even items that made the Sith Lord themselves Invincible with Darth cidus practically embodying the entirety of the Sith order around this time he had spent a great deal of his time collecting and studying these dark side artifacts from old history in fact we know that cyas had a secret vault and collection of artifacts that kept stored away during both his reign as Chancellor and his emperor in this holocron today we wanted to take a look at what kinds of artifacts city is kept hidden within his Trove now obviously his horde would have been massive and we are only told about a select few of the items throughout all of Canon and Legend sources but what we do know is that all of the Sith AR facts that would have been in the Jedi possession during the Clone Wars would have transitioned into the hands of cyas so with some deep searching and a lot of cross referencing we have compiled a list of 12 extremely dangerous artifacts that we know for certain was in the possession of Lord cyas of course if there's something that we missed be sure to let us know at the end now let us begin to start we know that cyas had many holocrons now by the time of the clone wars holocrons were actually extremely rare Jedi holocron R were far more plentiful and even though they were thought of as Priceless artifacts Sith holocrons on the other hand were invaluable and only a handful of them existed anymore especially holocrons that were passed down to the rule of two and those within the Jedi forbidden Vault we know distinctly of seven Sith holocrons that Palpatine would have owned as Emperor the first and most important of which was the Talos holocron for those of you who know the great holocron the Telos holocron was the Sith equivalent the great holocron was one unlike any other it was massive and shaped as a DOA hedrin the holocron contained the collaborative knowledge of many of the most prominent Jedi who had ever lived in the same way the Telos holocron was an object which held knowledge and power of several very important Sith in history including cyas and it would be cyas that would eventually become the gatekeeper of a holocron all his own the exact contents of the holocron are very obscure and we don't exactly know who created it at all but we do know that it is exceptionally old so much so that aunap pal was one of the earliest contributors as he gave his full account of the hundred-year darkness and the conquest of the Sith Worlds the Telos holocron would fall into the hands of the Brotherhood of darkness and Lord quorus and would leave an entry detailing what the Sith code meant to him in the Sith code itself Darth Bane would later make an entry in the Telos holocron as well while also logging in the contents of Darth Revan holocron one that Bane destroyed after he had used it speaking of Bane cyas also had his personal holocron as well which was an heirloom passed down through all the generations of the rule of two Sith according to cyas it was the only holocron that the rule of two Sith actually had to adhere to however cyas did also have the holocrons of Naga sadow Freeda NAD and sorza sin it is likely that all of these holocrons mostly contain knowledge pertaining to Sith Alchemy and sorcery which was the main motif of the three of them which now makes sense as to why Palpatine himself is so knowledgeable in Sith alemy especially when other rule of two Sith were not interestingly the holocron of sores sin had been in the Sith possession since the time of Bane and although the Jedi thought that they had the true holocron of Sor of sin this was a fake a item that was placed within the Jedi as a recording device cloaked with a Sith spell also among this connection of knowledge also existed the holocron of heresies which was of course the holocron of Darth and deu an exceptionally rare item in Legends the holocron Darth and dedu was lost to time after the crazy Sith Lord Darth gravid hid it away attempting to rewrite the Sith order as we know it within this holocron was the secret to the ability dark transfer and thus Immortal Life using the resources of the Empire and of course the dark side cidus managed to locate this holocron and delved into its secrets and it was this holocron and the secrets of edu that allowed Palpatine to return past his first death and the final holocron that we know of that cyas has was something called called simply the dark holocron its mysterious name and reputation precedes it as we have no information about who created this holocron or what contents lie within what we do know is that it was one of the earliest Sith holocrons ever recovered and it was the very first holocron to be put in the Jedi's possession the holocron was found by the famous Jedi Master odan ER as it had been in the possession of Naga sadow up until the Jedi claimed it it is likely that the dark holocron might have been created by one of the ancient Sith Kings speculating of course we believe maybe marar ragnos but an interesting theory is that this is actually the holocron of King Adis himself King Adis was the first Sith to actually obtain holocron technology from the rotten Empire Beyond these confirmed holocrons it is also speculated that cyas had the holocron of Darth nylas but this was never confirmed but what is made clear is that cyas only had seven of the ancient Sith holocrons now moving on to other items cyas had a couple lightsabers one which belonged to the the Sith Lord named Darth craw we know of him from Dooku Jedi lost in that novel where young Dooku and codus were sneaking into the Vault of forbidden Sith artifacts as they found a lightsaber there among other items Darth crawl was once a part of the Jedi but left when he believed the Jedi should be able to retain Family Ties as well as wealth that they had accumulated he became one of the lost 20 but was later seduced by the dark side and joined the Sith after his defeat his saber was added to the Jedi archives and would later fall into the hands of cyas while we aren't told this directly we can assume that cyas has the saber of Darth Bane as it was given by Zana to cognus following his death we can safely assume it was passed down through the rule of two and eventually even cyas held it and finally cyas had the lightsaber of Exar Kun the very first double-bladed lightsaber ever created Exar kun's lightsaber also once belonged in the Jedi archives along with Exar kon's own Sith amulet but the amulet was wasn't the only one that cyas had in his collection and we know that he also had the Amulet of Lord KH Lord KH who if you remember was the leader of the Brotherhood of darkness and owned an amulet that was said to be indestructible or at least had indestructible qualities cities would decide to integrate The Amulet of Lord KH into Vader's right glove which made this glove completely Invincible up to the Elbow at least Darth cidus would also own a myriad of crystals and gems as well one of these was the great Crystal of Anoni the crystal was said to be of grave importance to cyas as well as the Sith that came before him but what's ironic about this is none of them actually wrote down or discovered what the crystal actually did however we can make speculations based on where it was kept as Palpatine hid it in his surgical reconstruction chamber it was kept safe and well hidden by medical droids of all things which may imply that the Crystal had some sort of life-giving or life- sustaining property I would like to imagine that it was perhaps this cry Crystal that allowed cyas to preserve Vader's life while he was reconstructing him on corusant and finally we come to the last two objects which we know for sure were in Palpatine's Grand collection which were two masks The Masks of Darth M and the mask of Viceroy exm panart the mask of M is one that is more widely known about as it was featured in one of the can Invader comics from 2017 Darth M was an insane Sith Lord and inventor that was known for creating Dark Side power machines and art architecture he would be stopped in his time by a team of Jedi but before he died he bound his soul to his helmet which he had never removed and therefore his Spirit lived on through it cyas had gifted the mask of M to Vader at one point and The Mask enticed an imperial officer to put it on the officer then became a vessel for the spirit of M who promised Vader that he could build a castle on a dark side Nexus known as Mustafar hoping that the dark side energy would be channeled through the castle itself in an attempt to resurrect p ad May this process took 11 attempts with each failure causing Vader to kill the current vessel of M forcing him to find a new host but finally he got it to work but ultimately betrayed Vader and tried to resurrect himself instead of Padme he would then lose the lightsaber duel with Vader and the resurrection ritual for Padme would be an ultimate failure and now finally we have the mask of vicroy XM panhard both a Sith Lord and a Viceroy of a forgotten Planet panhard wore a mask made of meteor metal metals that were strong in the dark side the mask of this vile Sith Lord contained the screams of aund Innocents slaughtered for his own pleasure their endless turmoil gave him great power enabling his own Spirit to cling on to life through the mask and through their pain and that is all the ancient Sith items that we know for certain Li in Palpatine's Grand collection it goes without saying but Cy is likely had hundreds of more artifacts than what we were able to track down Sith were known for keeping countless crystals Scrolls TOs and other pieces for their study of the dark side but unfortunately there are only a few items that Legends or Canon decides to gives us a whole lot of detail on but like we said earlier we invite you to look for more artifacts that may have lied in
