Step one: Have lots of lashes already
*cries in scrawny, thin, sparse lashes
If you already have full/voluminous lashes, let me save you a few steps cause I give myself falsie-looking lashes without all those tools.
Works best with non-flaky mascaras. Apply mascara normally, maybe a little thicker than you normally would. Let it dry not all the way down, but still a little tacky. Take mascara (same kind or diff formula to mix up textures if you want) apply it to the TOP part of the lashes (where your lashes meet your eyelids rather than your eyeballs), still going from base to tip but on the upper portion of your top lashes. Let dry down, then take a spooley and brush out clumps both from the top and bottom directions and voila.
this look is absolutely beautiful but is it just me or did she photoshop out/blur her natural lashes on the before? ๐ง
She has such easy to follow tutorials. One of my favs.
I haven't watched this YouTuber before but the video came up on my recommended. I literally just got done watching so I haven't had a chance to try but the technique she used really made such a difference. Has anyone tried this?
Please note that both photos in the thumbnail have been photoshopped!
I'm pretty sure her eyelashes have been erased in the left picture and I can clearly see that her skin has been retouched in the right picture. This is just what I can in a minute of observation. There's likely more that can't be easily noticed.
I haven't watched the video, but please know that the thumbnail isn't real.
Her videos have been on my recommendations too and her tips are interesting and looks easy to follow. I'm really glad I discovered her.
Smitha has been one of my favorites for a really long time.
I adore Smithaโs content because I feel like she does a great job of avoiding the problem I have with other beauy gurus lately which is that theyโve lost the โguruโ aspect of their channels. I found her channel originally because of her tutorials for hooded eyes and I just love listening to her talk!
