Why There Will Never Be Another Big 3 In Rap - The End Of A Generation

The Big Three is a title that comes from circumstance rather than opinion right now I'm feeling like the big fre era is over well I won't say completely over as in they've all fallen off but I think it's starting to prove that we might not ever have a big free like Kendrick jcole and Drake ever again or if we do it's going to be in a really long time because right now the game is in a nuclear State and I'm seeing certain prophecies been fulfilled certain story lines are coming to an end and I can just see that you know the game is going to not be the save anymore and it's it's it's completely changing each rapper in the big three currently has played their role perfectly okay to get hip up where it is the modern landscape wouldn't be the same without Drake Kendrick and Cole there's no debate okay Kendrick is an innovator Drake is the hit maker and Cole is the middle child and I don't even say Cole is the middle child out of disrespect I say that because he has the spirit of an older MC and he's got to his position without any games or gimmicks just being himself and being a good rapper and I know a lot of people might clown him for that but at the end of the day people connect to cold because of his music and to say like he doesn't belong in the big free is kind of weird because that that's the thing about people like J.Cole like him as a person they like that he's just kind of like a regular dude they like that he gives them music you can just relate to so you can't really replace that I I kind of find it weird that people rather take Cole out of the conversation and maybe just add someone like future into it and then make it like a big four because that would make more sense to me because I still think you don't get accolades like Cole does and just kind of dismiss that and be like ah he doesn't deserve to be there but what but what is true is that he's always had this third place complex and he's spoken about it and like this middle child complex and he's only just cemented it so obviously we know he threw in the towel cuz he didn't have the heart to T to go for the number one spot he was too close to Drake as in friend wise he's built a good relationship with Drake and Drake was there Drake was there to be like yo me and you we were we we always been on top right Drake didn't little bro him that way but like Drake was like it can be me and you really we can we can forget Kendrick because Dr Drake and Kendrick obviously don't see I with a lot of things right but PA is such a nice guy that obviously has relationships with both sides he can he can respect Drake and he can respect Kendrick but can he disrespect them to get to that number one spot cuz that's what you need to do you got to show they better better than them by either washing them on a track or dissing them Cole washed Drake on his own track twice but people are not prepared to say that he's better because he ain't got the numbers to back it up now when it comes to Kendrick is like he can prove he's better than Kendrick by rapping on the same track as him but that opportunity never Ariz okay he had to diss him and it didn't go well so I think by Cole handing in the towel right now it's kind of just shown that it's kind of accepted third place because you can't be the goat if you didn't take up the chance to prove yourself as the goat and there's nothing wrong with that I'm a coal fan like I think he's great he's my favorite out of the three I love his music the most I connect of it he being the best really is is artificial cuz at the end of the day people going to either like you or they're not Cole unfortunately in his whole big three race he's just proved right now that he's third or middle child however you want to put it his prophecy is complete like he did all that he set out to achieve he did well but at the end of the day he's going to be remembered of that that's his that's his spot now there's almost no budging that unless he comes back and he you know disses them or whatever but I think the moment's gone and we've all all known that that's what Co was the whole time and he really just proved it to the world now we've got Kendrick and Drake going at it right we don't know how this is going to end because we all know Kendrick is a spitter boss we all know Kendrick got that animal in him but we know Drake is also battle tested a lot of people sleep on Drake but at the end of the day these are the two kings of two different spills we got kendri that can do numbers he ain't the numbers guy cuz he ain't got hits like Drake got hits but he got the numbers and he got the Artistry but Drake just got the pure World grip bro like everyone outside of the US knows Drake once this is all said and done right you can't force another big three because they these all came up in the mixtape era they came up like doing crazy numbers really representing Our Generation right you can throw future in the conversation as well you can throw Travis in the conversation but these three together like they they kind of like just worked off each other in a way it was weird it's just it was just some sort of chemistry it was it was just some sort of chemistry I feel like the world just stopped when these three dropped and like they have music together it's just it's just moments it's just moments even if you want to put future in that conversation every time Drake and Future have a song you know the world it don't the culture don't react the same to when they have a song together or when Kendrick and future have a song together but when Cole jumped on Drake's track you felt that that was our moment and that's why that they the big threee you can also ask people like oh who were like the two biggest rappers of the '90s everyone's going to give you the same answer Park and big right we don't call that the big two but we just know that it was it was them two they were running the show back in the 90s like that's just how it is 2000s you had more names like Wayne M J and Kanye were like probably at their biggest then but we don't call them the big four of the 2000 unless you're doing like some sort of Mount rashall so I just feel like the big free is like coming to a close now because after all this beef and stuff ends like obviously they're all going to drop music and stuff but I think depending on how this beef ends or like like the next few albums that they drop like they're kind of the era is like wrapping up I think it's kind of done and it's just the fact that we have no sight of like day next up because when Jay was kind of like at the end of his career everyone looked at Cole and be like yeah that's his little that's little bro right there that's that's coold that's the next one you had Dr to Dre Snoop everyone from the West Coast passing the torch down to Kendrick and Drake was just Drake Drake was clashing with Kanye and Kanye is Kanye so like the fact that someone like Kanye saw Drake as a threat we all knew Drake was next up we don't have that right now but that's okay we don't have to force it that's the problem like these guys have done their thing sometimes it takes time for more stories and characters it's it is like a story it is like a a prophecy almost it sounds Cordy but it's true though it's true you can't just be like oh the next big three are jid baby Keem and some other person because that's what that's what that's what people were saying about C Day people people like three years ago like cord's next up cord's next up he's he's going to be the next jcole where's C day bro I mean he's cool but like he he ain't touching cold level like no way is he touching Cole level right now you we we can't force it at the end of the day like it's just something that's just is how it is so yeah I mean what do you what do you guys really think like for me right now the reason why there probably won't be a big freeze because the genre is way too split bro you got like people [ __ ] with the Opium aesthetic you got people [ __ ] with the giselda crowd like and they're all huge in their own remarks like C is probably the biggest rapper in the game in terms of priz right now next to like Travis and 21 savage or something like that but you know we can't take K and say like he's the one cuz he only kind of represents one pocket like sometimes you need like at least two at the top or as we've seen three but I feel like sometimes three just don't work because there's going to be that one rapper that just gets shaked all the time it's an uneven number three just doesn't work so yeah I mean k can be one of them ones but we also need someone else to represent another area of hip-hop so if if anything right now I'll say CI probably up there but that's about it in terms of clear people that are running the game right now but we we just have to wait and see in how like it happens when these guys like Kendrick Co Drake take the back seat I mean Kendrick has kind of been in and out but his Artistry is unmatched so whenever he drops you know it's going to be fire but that's it I just don't think right now after all this craziness like this rap Civil War the game is too too split for it to be a clear winner so we don't know we got to wait and see but that's about it let me know who you think is going to be the next big three and let me know sad to say but it's sadder that if who would be the big three right now little dirt like who who you [ __ ] don't make good enough quality and I know I just said it wasn't about the quality of music are the people that when they drop the culture shuts down who are the people that when they drop a verse that's all we're talking about for the next two weeks who who has the ability to do the Kendrick drops the control or drops the like that and and the world is shaken and and the cultures changed who has the ability to respond like a jcole and the whole world is talking about that and
