Why Slytherin Is Awesome!

so before I get into this video I have a serious question for some people in the harry potter fan base why exactly do some people claim that they're two different houses at the same time no one in the Harry Potter universe at all claim they're in two houses case in point to my me reason Gryffindor even though she's one of the wisest and smartest people in the universe which translates into ravenclaw almost at the time I don't remember a scene where she claimed she was a Griffin claw because she was smart living Gryffindor so if anyone has a reason as to why people do this please I'd love to hear it in comment section and don't say because Pottermore put me in the wrong house anyway a while back you made a video called why Hufflepuff is awesome and that was pretty close to my heart because I'm a Hufflepuff but a lot of people don't like answer tough and so seeing everyone unite around it looks quite special to me I truly thank you all but at the same time I saw a lot of comments from people saying that they felt ashamed for being in a different house that wasn't help us because we talk positively about it but that's not the case there's positives and negatives to every house and you should be proud to be in the one you are and the one I'm going to focus on today is Slytherin a lot of people don't like being in Slytherin and I can totally understand why first off you have a PR problem your founder was a racist your animal is a snake and for some reason all the dark wizards in the world seem to come from your house it's not a good resume but don't worry slytherins I'm here to demonstrate the good that I could find in your house and prove that once and for all not also the rooms are evil that actually sounds like a stupid Twitter hashtag hashtag not like Slytherin that was a terrible joke I'm sorry first off let's talk about the house-trained cunning now cunning is one of those things which is normally associated with let's say antisocial behavior but it doesn't always have to be Google defines it as having or showing skill and giving one's end by deceit or evasion now there's a lot of things there that sounds really bad but that doesn't have to be a bad thing because really what that breaks down to the fact that sweater is made up of a whole bunch of people who are first strong-willed and ambitious enough that they won't let any obstacle stand in their way of achieving their goals and that that's something that should be a Meijer in today's society I'm Sharla thumbs up pretty much every successful business or politician on today's society and yes whether in Zubrowka pure rules the difficulty break of rule doesn't mean you're morally wrong I'm sure there are some rules which are morally wrong like committing murder rape all that kind of thing but if you say like stealing a loaf of bread to feed yourself because you've been starving and can't afford food then that seems to be morally okay and that's also the plot elenimia what am i doing pretty much what I'm trying to get is that they will break laws to do what's morally right regardless of the consequences for their actions and that's truly Noble in fact I go as far to say that's more courageous than what Gryffindor does but that's another argument and let's not forget that first definition of coming it mentions having or showing skill skills so that runs are normally talented creative people before Harry Potter Rico showed us whether alone what a 7-year winning streak to the house cup that's ridiculous and the Malfoy's disregard the fact that they're all evil sure is that being a Slytherin can lead to success they're one of the most affluent families in the entire Wizarding World that's going to say something right so let's move on to the selection of Slytherin I've collected to demonstrate the fact that not all slytherins are bad what did I say about the hash tag so how about we just start with the greatest Wizard of all time Marilyn as JK Rowling has said on Pottermore and a few other places Merlin was in Slytherin now I actually did have an argument with someone under the Hufflepuff video talking about merlin being in Slytherin because he appears to be there five hundred years before Hogwarts was founded but somehow it's still in weathering and today I say take out with JK Rowling I'm not an expert but yeah Merlin was in Slytherin and that's about all I can say really because that's really all that was mentioned so next person that this character really hasn't been developed much because he only appeared in the coast child and if you don't know if I'm talking about well it's Scorpius say what you want about the new book but I think there's one thing that the entire fan base can all agree on Scorpius was actually decently Britain he's a major departure from slytherins at the past he's shy timid and very friendly and loyal to his friend Albert he's an outcast amongst his own and all the other houses and hulls work as well and so naturally as the reader we all want to see him grow as a character which is where we get to the alternate timeline Fiasco personally I hated this part of the book because every time they fixed one of the timelines all the character development that they just did is now erased because they can't remember that universe anymore except the Scorpion because Scorpius existed in every single version of the Wizarding World he also gets all the character development from all the different universes as well he gets tempted and rejects it in was overcoming character flaws and now he's pretty much the perfect embodiment of all four traits of every Hogwarts house brave wise royal cunning if anyone deserves to claim that they're a mixture of the houses like I mentioned in the beginning of this video it's Scorpius but that's not the case because he primarily uses cunning to further his means of saving his friends elders that's a good use of coming look there are other Slytherin Zwicker theoretically talk about here like Regulus black brother of Ceres who tried to break the locket Horcrux before Harry did but this one person I've purposely kept to last and I think you know who it is and the reason I left them to last is because I don't really have anything else to add that hasn't been said and of course we're talking about Severus Snape I don't know where to start about tonight don't talk about the feelings that he's hidden from the years so we're talking about the harsh demeanor he puts on so Harry for his own protection so I talked about him being a triple aegis of Dumbledore I don't know he murdered his friends and subsequently died as a result of that action just so in the Wizarding World could be saved his story arc was as tragic as it was perfect I like a lot of you out there I'm sure shed a tear when he died and now Alan Rickman's also passed I feel like his performance of Snape will be remembered even more fun with Slytherin is an awesome house filled with awesome people and I hope that all of you out there see it I hope that was a lot more pleasure and pride out there and finally I also hope you've seen that not all slytherins
