Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
Cheap cars mean peace of mind. That's the beauty. Not being concerned with aesthetic damage, monthly payments, or even dealing with insurance (I've been backed into a number of times. Usually, they'll see I'm in a cheap car and offer to pay me under the table in exchange for not reporting it to their insurance company ($300-500). It saves me time and mental anguish, and it's basically free money at that point).
Thanks for the share! This was a super fun, ridiculous video to make!
What if your fun car is what others would consider a beater?
Or if you live where winter exists and don't want salt/sand damage or don't want to constantly worry if that car behind you is going to stop in time. Then there's also the factor that a beater 4WD/AWD is gonna out accelerate a 2WD sports car on the snow & ice any day of the week, so what's the point.
Shit, I misread this as "Why Should You Own a Better Car?" and was about to make the joke that I already have the best car.
Till you get into an accident and die because you have safety features from the 90s.
You don't have to care about them, but they've stolen my heart
I have 3 beaters but kinda want something newer now
There are people who can't decide which supercar they should take to drive, and I should get myself a beater shitcar to spare my "good"car?
